      • S-215 Prognostic value of soluble ST2 in patients with ST-segment elevation MI undergoing primary PCI

        Background: Soluble ST2, an interleukin 33-related substance is a marker of biomechanical strain and has shown to be an independent predictor for adverse outcome in heart failure. We evaluated the prognostic value of soluble ST2 in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: A total of 323 patients with STEMI undergoing primary PCI were enrolled and divided into two groups based on the median level of ST-2 measured at the time of presentation: the high ST2 group (ST2 ≥654 pg/mL, n=162) and the low ST2 group (ST2 <654 pg/mL, n=161). The primary endpoint was 1-year major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCE), defined as the composite of all-cause death, non-fatal MI, non-fatal stroke, and ischemia-driven revascularization. Results: Demographic, echocardiographic and angiographic characteristics were similar between the high and low ST2 groups. The cumulative incidence of MACCE at 1 year was significantly higher in the high ST2 group than in the low ST2 group (15.4% vs. 8.1%, p=0.044, Figure). By multivariate Cox regression analysis adjusting for age, sex, diabetes, anterior wall infarction, and systolic dysfunction (ejection fraction <40%), the high ST2 level was independently associated with 1-year MACCE (adjusted hazard ratio 2.09, 95% CI 1.01-4.29, p=0.046). Conclusions: The level of ST2 measured at the time of presentation can be a powerful, independent predictor of 1-year adverse clinical outcomes in patients with STEMI.

        Analysis and Suggestions of Digital Heritage Policy

        본 논문은 국내외 디지털 문화 활성화 정책을 4가지 유형으로 나누었다. 또한 각 정책의 대표적인 프로젝트를 설명하고 한계를 분석하였다. 마지막으로 이러한 한계점들을 극복 할 수 있는 솔루션을 제안하였다. 최근 5G 네트워크 기술, 증강현실 및 가상현실 기술의 발달로 인한 일상생활의 변화는 문화유산의 보존 및 활용 방식에 많은 변화를 가져 왔다. 특히, 디지털 기술은 문화유산의 디지털화, 디지털 데이터의 저장 및 관리, 문화유산의 디지털 복원, 시공간 및 다감각 체험을 가능하게 하였다. 이 연구는 국내 및 국제 디지털 유산 정책을 디지털 인프라 구축, 공유 및 커뮤니케이션 플랫폼 구축, 홍보 및 시범 콘텐츠 제작 지원 정책으로 나누었다. 이 연구는 디지털 유산 정책을 분류하고 디지털 유산 정책 동향 설명하고 개선점을 제안하는데 기여한다. In this paper, we divided domestic and foreign digital cultural activation policies into four types. We also described projects of each policy and analyzed the limitations of the policy. Finally, we suggested solutions to overcome these limitations. Changes in daily life caused by the recent development of 5G network technology, augmented reality, and virtual reality technology have brought many changes in the way of preservation and utilization of cultural heritage. In particular, digital technology is used for digitization of cultural heritage, storing, and managing digital data, digitally restoring cultural heritage, and enabling time, space, multi-sensory experiences. For this purpose, new policies was required to utilize this. This study divides domestic and international digital heritage policies into digital infrastructure construction, sharing and communication platform construction, public relations, and demonstration contents production support policies. This study is meaningful in classifying the fields of digital heritage policy and introducing digital heritage policy trends. It is also meaningful to suggest ways to improve digital heritage policies through analysis of domestic and foreign cases.

        Immunologic strategies and outcomes in ABO-incompatible living donor liver transplantation

        Antibody mediated rejection (AMR) after adult ABO-incompatible living donor liver transplantation (ABO-I LDLT) induced hepatic necrosis or diffuse intrahepatic biliary complications, which were related with poor graft and patient survival. Various desensitization protocols have been used to overcome these problems. Since using rituximab, the outcomes of ABO-I LDLT show a similar survival rate to those of ABO-compatible living donor liver transplantation. However, diffuse bile duct complications still occur after ABO-I LDLT. We have reviewed the past and current immune strategies for desensitization and to provide outcomes and ABO incompatibility-related complications in ABO-I LDLT.

        Temperature Analysis for Optimizing the Configuration of the Linear Cell

        The market demand of display devices is drastically increasing in the information technology age. The research on OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) display with the luminescence in itself is being more paid attention than LCD (Liquid Crystal display) with the light source from the back. The vapor deposition process is most essential in manufacturing OLED display. The temperature distribution of the linear cell in this process is closely related to securing the uniformity of organic materials on the substrate. This work analyzed the temperature distribution depending on the intervals between the crucible and the heating band as well as on the amount of the heat flux from the heating band. Moreover, the roles of the water jacket and the configuration of the cover within the linear cell were examined through the temperature analysis for six configurations of the linear cell. Under the above temperature analysis, the variations in the intervals and the amount of the heat flux were considered to have an effect on building the uniform temperature distribution within the crucible. It is predicted that the water jacket and the adequate configuration of the cover will prevent the blowout and clogging phenomena, respectively. The results can be used as the fundamental data for designing the optimal linear cell.

      • High serum IgE level in severe Korean psoriasis patient

        Background: Elevated serum total IgE levels have been reported in psoriasis. But there is a lack of data about the correlation between initial serum total IgE and the severity of psoriasis. Objectives: To find out a correlation between serum total IgE level and PASI score. Methods: We retrospectively investigated 351 psoriasis patients of all patients who visited Severance hospital for psoriasis from Jan 2016 through to Jan 2019. Initial PASI, treatment response and laboratory test including complete blood cell count, Total IgE have also been investigated. Sub-group analysis was done by severe psoriasis(PASI>10) and non-severe psoriasis(PASI<10). Results: The mean age of the patients included in this study was 40.86±15.03 and the duration of psoriasis was 114 months. Total serum level was statistically significant in severe psoriasis(p=0.007). Conclusion: Statistically significant correlation was observed between elevated total serum IgE levels and PASI score. IgE might participate in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.

        Use of Topical Rapamycin as Maintenance Treatment after a Single Session of Fractionated CO<sub>2</sub> Laser Ablation: A Method to Enhance Percutaneous Drug Delivery

        Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is an autosomal dominant neurocutaneous disorder with an incidence of approximately 1 in 5,000 to 10,000 live births. TSC has various clinical manifestations such as multiple hamartomas in systemic organs, including the skin. Angiofibromas are the most common skin lesions in patients with TSC. Although benign, angiofibromas develop in childhood and puberty, and can be psychosocially disfiguring for patients. Skin lesions in TSC, specifically angiofibromas, have no significant risk of malignant transformation after puberty; thus, they require no treatment if not prominent. However, the presentation of TSC is important owing to its impact on patient cosmesis. Surgical treatment and laser therapy are the mainstream treatments for angiofibromas. Although the evidence is limited, topical mammalian target of rapamycin inhibitors such as sirolimus (rapamycin) are effective in facial angiofibroma treatment. We describe an adult patient with an angiofibroma who had an excellent response to treatment with topical rapamycin after a single session of carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>) laser ablation. The patient showed no sign of relapse or recurring lesions for a year. CO<sub>2</sub> laser ablation may serve as a new paradigm of treatment for angiofibromas in TSC. Since the selection of laser devices can be limited for some institutions, we suggest a rather basic but highly effective approach for angiofibroma treatment that can be generally applied with the classic CO<sub>2</sub> device.         Ontology-based Recommendation System for Maintenance of Korean Architectural Heritage

        본 논문에서는 한국 건축 유산 유지 보수를 지원하기 위한 온톨로지 기반의 추천 시스템을 제안한다. 본 연구는 다음을 포함한다: 1) 건축 유산의 수리 정보를 표현하는 온톨로지 디자인, 2) 수리 사례 DB 구축, 3) 수리 방법 추천 시스템 개발. 본 연구에서는 기존 문화유산 온톨로지를 참조하여 한국 목조 건축문화유산의 정보를 표현하는 온톨로지를 디자인 하였다. 둘째, 국립 문화재 연구소와 문화재청에서 제공하는 수리 내용 및 전문가 인터뷰 데이터를 바탕으로 수리 정보 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 셋째, 우리는 가장 유사한 현상과 원인을 가진 한국 목조 건축문화유산의 수리 방법을 추천하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 이 연구는 수리 지식을 공유하고 건축문화유산 수리를 위한 방법을 결정하는데 기여한다. In this paper, we propose ontology-based recommendation system for supporting maintenance of Korean architectural heritage. This study includes the following: 1) design of ontology expressing repair information of architectural heritage, 2) creation of repair case DB, 3) creation of a recommendation system of repair method. For this study, we designed the ontology that expresses the information of Korean wooden building cultural heritage by referring to the existing heritage ontologies. Second, we created the repair information database based on the repair contents and the expert interview data provided by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage and the Cultural Heritage Administration. Third, we developed a system that recommends the repair method of Korean wooden architectural heritage with the most similar phenomena and causes. This study contributes to sharing repair knowledge and determining repair methods for architectural heritage repair.
