        In this paper we investigate the phase efficiency in the electrooptic phase modulator using PPpinNN GaAs / AlGaAs W waveguide. The phase change is affected by the refractive index change taking place inside the depletion region. The behavior of the modulator can be understood in terms of two electric field-related and two carrier-related effects linear electrooptic, quadratic electrooptic, plasma, and bandgap shift. As a result, the phase modulation efficiency was measured about 34.6[˚V·mm] for the TE polarized light. The quadratic electrooptic coefficient R = 5.82 x 10^(-15) [㎠/V²] is obtained and the phase efficiency caused by the quadratic electrooptic effect is about 10 times larger than that from the conventional linear electrooptic effect.

      • 接觸安定法을 이용한 糞尿處理에 관한 硏究

        本 硏究에서는 연구책임자의 學述的 硏究經驗을 토대로 하여 보다 나은 處理工程을 다음과 같이 개발하였다. 旣存의 糞尿處理場 1次處理工程인 好氣性消化槽를 接觸槽와 安定槽로 분리하고 2次沈澱池에서 배출되는 返送슬러지를 全部 安定槽로 流入시켜 安定化시킨후 接觸槽로 보내는 接觸安定法의 工程으로 改造하고 流入糞尿 1對 稀釋水8의 比率로 糞尿를 流入시키며 實驗考察한 결과 97%이상의 處理效率을 얻었고 惡臭가 거의 발생하지 않은 쾌적한 環境이 되었다. In this study, the researchers found the better treatment process of nightsoil treatment plant on the basis of the responsible researcher's academic experience. The first treatment process, that is, aerobic digester of the existing nightsoil treatment plant is separated into the contact tank and the stabilization tank. And all the return sludge which discharge from the final sedimentation tank is folloed in the stabilization tank and is kept the stabilization situation there Afterwards, it is sent to the contact tank. The researchers remodeled as these contact stabilization processes and put in the contact tank at rate of inflow nightsoil one to diluted water eight. The results of above practical experiences showed the effective treatment above 95 percents and the comfortable environment with few foul ordor.

        건축물 건설단계에서의 에너지소비량 및 CO₂배출량 원단위 산출

        The purpose of this study is to establish the database that could be applied to the building LCA Firstly, in this paper, the methodologies of building LCA and energy based I/O model for estimating embodied energy of building materials were examined Then, the intensity of energy consumption and CO₂ emission for building materials and construction stage were estimated The intensity database for building materials calculated by the I/O table published in 2000 was compared with the database by the I/O table published in 1995 According to the result of comparison, there were a little differences between the results calculated by the new and the previous data, and two results showed nearly the same patterns So, it could be said that the industrial activity change has little effect on the energy intensity of building materials during the past 5 years For the calculation of the energy intensity in the construction stages, the payment documents of an ad and electricity consumptions during construction for the sample buildings were surveyed and the intensity per a building gross area were calculated The database presented in this paper could be applied to the building LCA process as the basic data for analysing global worming effect caused by building construction

      • 바닥재 처리로 인한 수송 트레일러의 3차원진동 감쇠 효과

        This study was aimed to prevent the quality loss of agricultural products, which could be occurred by the vibrations of transporting trailer. The vibration absorption effect was measured and analyzed by mounting the polystyrene material on the bottom of trailer. The transporting trailer was tested with being mounted by the pear boxes up to fourth floor. The results of this study could be summarized as follows: 1. At low engine speed of 500rpm, average 3-dimensional accelerations of the polystyrene mounting system were showed similar results by the 3-directions as 0.0005 ~ 0.0006㎨, but those were reduced to 1/2 ~ 1/20 level of the non-mounting system. 2. At standard engine speed of 1,000rpm, the average 3-dimensional accelerations of the polystyrene mounting system were showed similar results by the 3-directions as 0.0005 ~ 0.0006㎨, and also showed similar results as 0.0006 ~ 0.0008㎨ for the non-mounting system. 3. For the accumulated vibration levels, the more low-frequency accelerations were occurred at the non-mounting system, which would make severe effect on the transporting loss.

      • 진동감쇠 장치를 부착한 트레일러의 3축진동

        This study was aimed to find out the basic information for reducing damage of agricultural products during transportation. The vibration absorption system, consisted of suspension at wheel mounting and coil spring & rubber at hitch part, was developed and tested for the vibration characteristics. The 3-dimensional acceleration levels were measured at engine and trailer part according to the low(500rpm), medium(1000rpm), and high(1200rpm) engine speed. The results of this research could be summarized as follows; (1) For low engine speed of 500rpm, the average accelerations of engine part were 0.0085 m/s², 0.0238m/s². and 0.0182 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively. Those of trailer part were 0.0162 m/s², 0.013 m/s². and 0.0l06 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction respectively. And the peak accelerations of trailer part were 0.19 m/s², 0.34 m/s², and 0.18 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively at 80Hz of frequency. (2) For medium engine speed of 1,000rpm, the average accelerations of trailer part were 0.0164 m/s², 0.011 m/s². and 0.0104 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively. And the peak accelerations were 0.31 m/s² at 100Hz, 0.29 m/s² at 70Hz, and 0.28 m/s² at 100Hz for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively. (3) For high engine speed of 1,200rpm, the average accelerations of trailer part were 0.0293 m/s², 0.0194 m/s². and 0.022 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively. And the peak accelerations were 1.2 m/s², 1.1 m/s², and 1.9 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively at 60Hz of frequency. (4) For the driving of power tiller at speed of 0.35m/s on the controlled road, the average accelerations of trailer part were 0.018 m/s², 0.031 m/s². and 0.027 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively. And the peak accelerations were 0.13 m/s², 0.24 m/s², and 0.29 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively.

        평면 차체프레임구조물의 민감도해석 및 최적설계

        This paper is to estimate sizing design sensitivity of linear and nonlinear vehicle frame structure using structural analysis result from ANSYS. Using design sensitivity results, optimal design of plane vehicle frame structure with buckling constraint is carried out the gradient projection method. Optimal design results are compares gradient projection method result with SUMT result.

      • 培養鷄胚筋細胞分化에 미치는 細胞融合促進物質의 영향

        培養鷄胚筋細胸 分化에 미치는 促進物質의 영향을 알아보고자 2가양이온 (Ca2+, Mg2+) 胸胚抽出物 (EE), polyethylene glycol (PEG), 再生中인 도마뱀 (Lacertilia)꼬리 추출물 (BE)을 처리하여 細胸融合指數를 비교 조사하였다. 정상배양시의 細胸融合指數는 배양시작 70 시간에 최대에 달했으며 더이상 증가하지 않았고, Ca2+와 Mg2+ 처리할 경우에는 농도가 증가할수록 細胸融合指數는 저하되고, 근세포의 굵기도 정상세포보다 가늘고 핵이 모여있었다. Polyethylene Glycol (PEG)와 Blastemata Extract (BE) 처리군에서는 대조구와 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 鷄胚抽出物 (EE) 을 筋細胞分化에 필수적이나 과량으로 添加시에는 細胞融合은 억제되고 세포수는 증가되는것으로 나타났다. To study the effects of promoting factors on the differentiation of muscle cells, chick embryonic myoblasts were cultured with divalent cations (Ca2+, Mg2+) Chick embryo extract (EE), Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) and Blastema extract of Lacertilia (BE). Fusion index and Growth ratio were measured at various culture time. The fusion index of normal myoblast culture was reached maximum at 70 hours and the divalent cations (Ca2+, Mg2+) treated groups were decreased at higher concentration. The cellular formation of myoblasts treated with divalent cations was thiner and more aggregated between nuclei than that of normal myoblasts calture was. When polyethylene glycol (PEG) and Blastema extract of Lacertilia (BE) were treated to the myoblasts, tha fusion indices were similar to the control. Embryo Extract (EE) was seemed to be necessary for the fusion of chick embryonic myoblasts in culture, however, when excess of EE was added the fusion index was decreased and the number of cells was increased.

      • 졸-겔법에 의한 폴리비닐피롤리돈함유 ??용액으로부터 Tio₂박막의 제조와 특성

        TiO₂는 페로브스카이트 구조를 가진 복합산화물계의 중요한 성분일 뿐만 아니라, 태양에너지를 광전기화학적으로 변환하여 물을 전기분해시키는 반도체 전극과 광촉매로 사용되는 매우 중요한 재료이다. 그러나 두꺼운 막 내부에 발생하는 응력 때문에 순수한 졸-겔 재료로 인한 0.2㎛보다 두꺼운 박막을 제조하는 것이 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는 졸-겔법의 딥-코팅법을 이용하여 비교적 가수분해 속도가 빨라 1회의 코팅으로 균열없이 두꺼운 박막을 제조하기 어려운 전이 금속계의 TiO₂세라믹 박막을 Polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)를 함유시킨 ?? 용액을 출발물질로 하여 두껍고 균질한 투명한 막을 얻고자 하였다. PVP를 함유한 용액을 3㎝/min의 인상속도로 실리카 유리기판에 침적시킨 후, 700℃에서 10분간 열처리를 행하여 박막을 얻었다. 이 결과 0.1∼0.9㎛ 두께의 투명한 박막을 얻었고, PVP를 함유하지 않은 박막보다 약 2-9배 정도 두꺼웠다. TiO₂is well known for it is importance as a component of complex-oxides with perovskite structure. TiO₂has been used for semiconductor electrodes and optical catalysies. In general, however, for it's rapitity of hydrolysis time respectively, it is quite difficult to prepare TiO₂thick film by sol-gel method. In this study, the researcher tried to prepare TiO₂thick film with homogeneousness. ?? solution with Polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) was used for starting material in sol-gel method. After dip-coating (3cm/min) of starting materials onto silica-glass substrate the thick film was prepared by heat-treatment (700℃, 10min). As a result, a transparent film with the thickness 0.1∼0.9 ㎛ was attained and it is thickness was 2∼9 times thicker than film without PVP

      • 진동감쇠 장치를 부착한 트레일러의 수직진동

        This study was aimed to find out the basic information for reducing damage of agricultural products during transportation. The vibration absorption system, consisted of suspension at wheel mounting and coil spring & rubber at hitch part, was developed and tested for the vibration characteristics. The vertical acceleration level was measured at 6 positions, i.e. engine, hitch, seat, and three parts of trailer(front, middle, and rear) according to the low(500rpm), medium(1000rpm), and high(1200rpm) engine speed. The results of this research could be summarized as follows; (1) For low engine speed of 500rpm, the average vertical accelerations were in the range of 0.11~0.27 m/s² by the sensing positions. The higher vertical accelerations were occurred at seat and front position of trailer in order. The vertical accelerations were distributed up to 100Hz at engine, hitch and trailer position, but were equally distributed up to 400Hz at seat position. At three positions of trailer, the peak accelerations of 0.3~1.0 m/s² was occurred one or two times. (2) For medium speed of 1000rpm, the average vertical accelerations were higher in low frequency range, but decreased in higher frequency range up to 300Hz at engine and hitch positions. The vertical accelerations were equally distributed up to 379Hz at seat position, but distributed up to 170Hz at trailer, and the peak accelerations of 0.8, 0.4, 0.2 m/s² were occurred one or two times at front, middle, and rear side of trailer, respectively. (3) For high speed of 1200rpm, the average vertical accelerations were equally distributed up to 400Hz at engine, hitch and seat positions, but up to 500Hz at trailer. The peak acceleration of 0.3m m/s² was occurred two or three times at trailer position. (4) For driving power tiller at speed of 0.35m/s on the controlled road, the peak vertical acceleration were occurred in the range of 80~150Hz at engine, hitch, and rear side of trailer position. The vertical accelerations were very low level for higher frequency range over 200Hz.
