      • 전기로 후판강재 용접접합부의 인성평가에 관한 시험적 연구

        An Experimental Study on the Toughness Evaluation of Welded Connection of Thick Steel Plate of Electric Furnace This study is evaluated a toughness of welding joint connection using 3 points bending test with SM 490 A thick plates. Results are as follows. 1) A toughness can be estimated both cumulation plastic ratio and the plastic deformation cumulate ratio according 1.0 degree of correlation coefficient. 2) HAZ showed higher correlation than bond in the point of cumulation plastic ratio. As a result absorb energy and percentage of HAZ can be a measure to estimate a toughness.

      • 學生들의 科學硏究課題에 대한 調査硏究⑴ : 地域社會 産業體가 要求하는 基礎科學의 內容分析을 中心으로

        Science research-type investigation projects are studied to provide students with opportunities to have experiences similar to those of practicing scientists and to acquire the scientific knowledge and skill required by industries in our community. To obtain information about knowledge and skills, two types of the questionnaires were sent to twenty two industries which were selected in Taegu, Gumi, Pohang, and Ulsan, and investigators visited. The industries are classified. into seven categories of business: they are chemical industry A(petroleum), chemical industry B(nonpetroleum), the engineering industry, the electric industry, the dyeing and textile industry, the mining and steel industry, and the food industry. According to the response of the questionnaires, 1) about seven thousand eight hundred employees are working in forty one categories of work, of which about thirty seven percent are female. The employees from liberal art senior high schools are only five percent while the employees from technical high schools constitute thirty one percent, 2) the responses about the scientific knowledge and skills required by the-employees are centered on male workers rather than female workers, and also on those from technical high schools rather than from junior high schools and elementary schools, and 3) the knowledge of electricity and magnetism, physical and chemical properties of matters, the skills of handling various kinds of measuring and electrical instruments, and skills of chemical analysis show very strong responses. The fundamental ability of doing experiments such as planning experiments, collecting and analyzing data also shows strong response. Moreover, the Knowledge and skills of handling environmental pollution problems shows remarkable response. Considering these responses, the scientific knowledge and skill training to be included in science education have been determined, and twenty two research-type science investigation projects have been developed. The projects consist of seven parts of investigation: they are investigating properties of matters and solution, utilizing electric and solar energy, chemical synthesis and analysis, air and water pollution, soil and geological features, micro-organisms and fermentation and making simple instruments. The contents of the projects are closely related to the works in the industries, not technically but scientifically. In performing them the teachers and students may find much practical and academic value. Some of the projects are written in much detail about the methods, techniques and materials, while the others are mentioned only ideas and directions of the investigation. The first ones are prepared for the teachers and students who have little experience about the research-type of science investigation. The second ones are prepared for the people who have some experience about this kind of invertigation, and there they can develop their own modes of inquiry. As mentioned above, liberal art senior high school graduates are hardly employed by the industries even if there are various kinds of works which mainly need the fundamental knowledge and skills of science. The reason may be that those students have little laboratory experiment experience and very little actual problem solving experience. The liberal art senior high schools, therefore, should provide the students with more opportunities to perform laboratory experiments and engage in actual problem solving not only for general education but also for professional education. In addition, the fundamental knowledge and skills of the applied part of basic science, which are highly required by the community-industries, may be included in the science curriculum.

      • 공동주택단지의 개발실태와 도시경관 관리방안 : 진주시를 중심으로

        Apartment houses commonly have problems of view, disharmony with nature and defilade by itself etc. First of all, to improve these problems, the regulations were considered differently according to the location of the apartment houses, as it were, riverside, hill and plain. This is due to the effects that are different from the location of the apartment house. The result of this study are summarized as follows ; 1. The related laws and regulations are too weak to manage apartment houses in view of townscape. So, it may cause that the smaller the scale of site, the higher the building-to-land ratio and floor area ratio. 2. The important factors of apartment houses, to match with townscape, are not only the height and facade area, but also harmony with near sites and visual opening. 3. We should prevent an uniform appearance by means of the variable applications of guidelines, according to the location of apartment houses. 4. The efficient method of the managing townscape is, generally, to reduce floor area ratio of apartment houses.

        에너지 敎育의 敎材開發에 關한 硏究 Ⅱ

        The energy crisis has heightened our concern about the economic development. Perturbation in our supply and increasing prices of fossil fuels had created an greatest problem. It demands that the science teacher can serve as dispenser of information and techniques concerned with human life and energy. This article illustrates contents of the written teaching material concerned with the education, which is prepared for the senior high school students, to introduce comprehensive framework of energy conservation. The contents of the material consist of the following three items. 1. What are the preblems in energy consumption and supply? 2. How can we develop the new energy sources? 3. How can we save the energy consumption? Each item illustrated the statistical data, graphs, leading questions and problems for computing. The material also illustrates the laboratories concerned with saving electric power, utilizing the sun light, controling house heating and cooling system. Application of the material was carried out in two class of eleventh grade students, for on month period after class room. Since the period was too short the students had some difficulties to understand the principles of new energy production. They also showed a little difficulty in handling the exprimental equipment and analizing data. They were, however, much interested in the activities of the material.

      • 國民의 科學化 運動과 科學敎育

        For the movement of the modernization of daily life, it demands reformation of the citizen's sense of value, and further cultivation of their scientific ability, especially scientific thinking ability. Since the students will be the future volunteers of this movement, they need to understand way of scientific life, and to acquire more abilities of doing science. It is requested that science curriculums include more practical contents related to the student's daily life, such as energy crisis, food problems, and pollution prevention, because these problems are impending and urgent to the society as well as to the life of the students. The teaching methods should be improved toward individualized instructional approach, and enough opportunities for them to investigate real problems arising in the student's daily life should be given to the students because such a teaching method whould be more effective in obtaining scientific abilities, and in understanding value of science. The laboratories of the schools should be open to the students and the citizens, which will function, as a center of the movement so that the teachers help them to solve their problems scientifically There are, however, several difficulties remained in teaching science by means of these teaching methods, such as insufficency of facilities and equipment, heavy teaching loads, and heterogenity of intellectual levels in the large class size. So it also demands the increase of the government budget of science education to solve these difficulties. It seems, however, more important to create the climate of doing science in the life of students as well as citizens.

      • Cation에 흡착시킨 CO_2의 분광학적 고찰

        The infrared spectra of CO_2 adsorbed on the cations, such as Na^+, Ni^2+, Ca^2+, Al^3+ and Fe^3+, supported by montmorillonite were investigated at room temperature. Nylon mesh film technigue was applied to hold the substrate in the path of the I.R. beam within a gas cell. In the obtained CO_2 spectra, the band appeared around 2349㎝^-1 corresponding to the asymmetric vibration v_3 shifted to lower frequency about 20㎝^-1 due to the adsorption. And new bands were observed near 1375 and 1265㎝^-1 which supposed to be resulted from the fact that originaly Ramam active v_1 and 2v_2^0 vibrations became infrared active due to the adsorption. From the shift of v_3 bands and the new bands of v_1, adsorption tendency in order of, Al^3+>Ca^2+>Ni^2+>Fe^3+>Na^+, was noticed.

      • 共沈澱法에 依하여 調製한 酸化 Nickel-Silica系 觸媒의 Ethylene 二量化

        共沈澱方法에 依하여 酸化 nickel-silica觸媒를 調製하여 ethylene 二重化活性을 硏究하였다. ethylene二重化에 대한 酸化 nickel-silica의 活性은 脫水에 依한 것으로 증명되었다. 低溫의 眞空處理에 있어서는 觸媒의 活性點이 Bro¨nsted酸이었으나, 高溫의 경우에는 活性點이 Lewis酸이었다. 또한 觸媒의 活性能은 觸媒의 表面積과 酸化 nickel의 量에 依存되었다. The nickel oxide-silica catalysts were prepared by coprecipitation method and their activities of ethylene dimerization were studied by the conventional static apparatus. The activation of nickel oxide-silica for ethylene dimerization was proved to be due to the dehydration of catalyst. It was shown that the active site for dimerization was Bro¨nsted acid for the lower evacuation temperature but was Lewis acid for the higher evacuation temperature. The activity of catalyst was dependant on the specific surface area and nickel oxide % in the catalyst.

      • 튀는 공의 혼돈 운동 Ⅰ. 사인파 떨기

        A simple one-dimensional dynamical system of a ball colliding with a periodically vibrating table is considered. It is assumed that the ball is a granular particle and the table is sinusoidally vibrating. The collision is characterized by a coefficient of restitution at each impact. The coefficient of restitution and the frequency of the table is fixed. For given values of initial position and velocity of a ball, we investigated the behavior from periodic to chaotic motion by changing table's amplitude A. We observed the distinct regions of period doubling, chaos, crisis and sticking.

      • 철봉 몸펴 앞돌아 물구나무서기 동작의 운동학적 분석

        국제 체조 연맹이 정하는 자유 종목에서는 채점 규정상 B난도에 해당된다. 국가 대표 선수 3명을 대상으로 경기력 향상을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 철봉 몸펴 앞돌아 물구나무서기 동작에 대한 보다 정확한 과정을 모색하고 좀더 발전적이고 변형된 기술 습득을 위한 운동학적 변인을 분석하였다. 1. 제 2 구간에서는 신체중심의 수직속도를 증가시키고 Bar에 가깝게 신체를 회전시킴으로 안정된 자세 동작을 수행하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 2. 제 3 구간에서는 신체중심의 수평속도를 빠르게 하고 견관절, 슬관절을 굴곡시켜 회전력을 증가시키는 것이 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 3. 제 5 구간에서는 수평위치를 회전축인 Bar로부터 회전반경의 길이를 길게 하여 회전력을 상승시키고 견관절의 굴곡을 크게하고 신체를 layout시켜 다음 Swing동작의 준비를 여유있게 하는 것이 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 이상을 종합해보면 철봉 몸펴 앞돌아 물구나무서기 연기 동작을 수행하는데 제 2 구간에서 신체중심의 수직속도를 증가시키고 제 3구간에서 회전반경을 짧게하여 회전력을 높이고 제 5 구간에서 수직상승운동을 위치에너지로 바꾸는 것이 동작을 성공적으로 연기할 수 있는 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있다. This study has researched on the motion of ´the free hip circle forward to handstand motion on the horizontal bar´ as performed by the three national representative champion as its object for the purpose to present fundamental data for the improvement of competitiveness, in such a manner as to seek a more accurate progress and a more evolved and transformed skill to be attained, based on the kinematic factors as analysed below. 1. At phase 1, it was shown to be desirable to take a short rotation radius with enough room when shortening composite location of physical center, slowing down both in a little flexion. 2. It was also desirable at phase 2 that the vertical speed of the physical center should be increased; motion should be performed in a stable posture by shortening the front of moment, rotating the body closely to the bar when doing down rotation. 3. Phase 2 has revealed it to be an important factor to increase the rotation force by quickening both the vertical and horizontal speeds of the physical center and flexing the shoulders and knees. 4. Phase 4 indicated the rotation force should be raised and the vertical speed of vertical uprising should be used by flexing the shoulders and making the physical center close to the bar from the rotation axis. 5. It was important, as phase 5, that the composite location should shorten the length of rotation radius from the bar, which is the rotation axis so as to accelerate the rotation force and enlarge the flexion of the shoulders, lay out the body, and then prepare for the swinging motion in good allowance. To summarize the forerunning aspects, in the performance motion of the free hip circle forward to handstand motion on the horizontal bar for a more advanced, transformed, improved skill, motion, and competitive force, it was learned to be an important factor that the body-centered vertical speed should be increased at phase 1 and 2; the rotation force should be accelerated by reducing the rotation radius at phase 3; and the vertical uprising motion should be changed into the location energy at phase 5. These appeared as important factors for successful performance.
