        Structural and photoelectrochemical characterization of TiO2 nanowire/nanotube electrodes by electrochemical etching

        TiO2 nanowire/nanotube electrodes were synthesized by anodization of titanium foils in ethylene glycol solution containing 0.5 wt% NH4F and 1 wt% water at 60 V for 6 h. The microstructure and morphology of the asprepared electrodes were investigated by XRD and SEM. A possible formation mechanism and oxidation parameters of nanocomposite structure were discussed. The relationship between structural characteristics of TiO2 nanowire/nanotube electrodes and its photoelectrochemical characterization were evaluated by electrochemical analyzer and photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) solution. Furthermore, these TiO2 nanowire/nanotube electrodes promoted the photoelectrochemical characterization due to the larger surface areas, enhanced light harvesting and electron transport rate. The results show that photocurrent density of 1.44mA/cm2 and photocatalytic degradation of 95.51% was achieved for TiO2 nanowire/nanotube electrodes, which were 0.55mA/cm2 and 20.52% higher than the TiO2 nanotube electrodes under a similar condition, respectively.

        《马克思恩格斯论中国》阐释了近现代世界历史的形成,并探讨了近现代中国在国际视野中的发展路径,其论述中体现出的世界历史理论为我们提供了阐述新时代构建“人类命运共同体”在唯物史观下根本遵循和理论视角。本文首先分析了马克思恩格斯的世界历史理论形成的学理逻辑,然后阐述了中国特色社会主义新时代下构建“人类命运共同体”的理论基础和可行性实践探索,认为“人类命运共同体”是运用世界历史理论对以往国际政治经济秩序中资本主义逻辑的严肃批判和对“全人类共同价值”的目标升华,是对马克思主义唯物史观和“共同体”概念的继承和创新性发展。《马克思恩格斯论中国》对构建当代“人类命运共同体”有重要的启示和借鉴意义。 Abstract: Makesi Engesi Lun Zhongguo explains the formation of modern world history and explores the development path of modern China from an international perspective. The world historical theory reflected in its discussion provides us with Basically theoretical perspective under historical materialism to elaborate on the construction of the “community with a shared future for mankind” in the new era. This article first analyzes the academic logic of the formation of Marx and Engels’ world history theory, and then elaborates on the theoretical basis and practical exploration of building the “community with a shared future for mankind” under the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It believes that the “community with a shared future for mankind” is the application of world history theory. The theory’s serious criticism of the capitalist logic in the past international political and economic order and the sublimation of the goal of “common values for all mankind” are the inheritance and innovative development of Marxist historical materialism and the concept of “community”. Makesi Engesi Lun Zhongguo has important enlightenment and reference significance for building the contemporary “community with a shared future for mankind”.

        중국출신 결혼이주여성의 의사결정 공정성인식과 성역할태도가 부부관계만족도에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: This study examined the effects of perceived equity in decision-making and gender role attitudes on marital satisfaction among Chinese-Han and Korean-Chinese migrant women. Methods: Data were drawn from the ‘National Survey on the Multi-Cultural Families in 2015’ and 1,350 Chinese migrant women born after 1979 under the implementation of “one child policy” were selected. Chi-squared test, t-test, and multiple regression analysis were performed for analysis. Results: There were differences between Chinese-Han and Korean-Chinese in marital satisfaction and perceived equity in decision-making. For Chinese-Han, ‘balanced group (perceived fairness in decision-making)’ showed higher marital satisfaction than ‘underbenefited group (husband is more dominant in decision-making)’. For Korean-Chinese, there was no significant difference between the groups. Conclusions: This study found how the perception of equity in decision-making would affect the quality of international marriage relationship. Especially, for Chinese-Han women, the equity plays an important role in marriage relationship.

        외국인 어머니의 문화적응이 다문화가정 청소년의 학습활동 적응에 미치는 영향: 어머니의 가정 내 교육참여, 공적 교육 지원, 사교육의 매개효과

        Objectives: This study aimed to examine how mothers’ acculturation affected their children’s learning activity adaptation and how mothers’ educational involvement in home, public educational support and private tutoring mediated the association. Methods: Data were drawn from the 2016 Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS). Among the total 1,635 multicultural adolescents, those in the 3rd year of middle school who had foreign mother and Korean father were selected. A frequency analysis, multiple regression analysis, logit regression analysis and hierarchical multiple regression were performed. Results: A direct effect and an indirect effect of foreign mothers’ acculturation on the adaptation of multicultural family adolescents’ learning activities were verified. Mothers’ Korean proficiency was directly associated with the adaptation of adolescents' learning activities, and that the mediating effect of mothers’ educational involvement in home and the relationship between mothers’ Korean proficiency and the adaptation of learning activities was found. Private tutoring mediated the relationship between the acculturative stress and the adaptation of adolescents' learning activities but had no direct effect of acculturative stress on the adaptation of adolescents learning activities. Conclusions: The results imply that although foreign mothers’ insufficient Korean proficiency has a negative effect on adolescents’ adaptation of learning activities, foreign mothers’ educational involvement in home and private tutoring can improve multicultural family adolescents’ adaptation of learning activities.

      • Isolation and Expression Analysis of a GDSL-like Lipase Gene from Brassica napus L.

        As lipolytic enzymes, GDSL lipases play an important role in plant growth and development. In order to identify their functions and roles, the full-length cDNA of a GDSL lipase gene, designated BnLIP2, was isolated from Brassica napus L. BnLIP2 was 1,300 bp long, with 1,122 bp open reading frame (ORF) encoding 373 amino acid residues. Sequence analysis indicated that BnLIP2 belonged to GDSL family. Southern blot analysis indicated that BnLIP2 belonged to a small gene family in rapeseed genome. RT-PCR analysis revealed that BnLIP2 was a tissue-specific expressing gene during reproductive growth and strongly expressed during seed germination. BnLIP2 expression could not be detected until three days after germination, and it subsequently became stronger. The transcript of this gene was deficient in root of seedlings growing at different stages. When juvenile seedlings were treated by methyl jasmonate (MeJ), salicylic acid (SA) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA), BnLIP2 expression could not be induced in root. Our study implicates that BnLIP2 probably plays an important role in rapeseed germination, morphogenesis, flowering, but independent of root growth and development.

        미국산 쇠고기 수입정책에 관한 정치사회학적 연구 : 한국과 대만 비교분석

        본 논문은 한국과 대만에서 미국산 쇠고기 수입개방 압력이라는 동일한 이슈를 놓고 왜 상이한 결과를 나타나는지를 규명하는 데 있다. 이 질문을 풀기 위해 한국과 대만의 미국산 쇠고기 수입정책에 영향을 줄 수 있는 요인들을 정치사회학적 측면에서 검토한다. 특히 미국산 쇠고기 수입개방 이슈에 있어 기존 연구들이 주목하지 않았던 당ㆍ정ㆍ청 정책엘리트에 초점을 맞춰 분석하였다. 정권교체의 패턴, 안보ㆍ전략적 환경, 한미 FTA, 정당, 시민사회, 국정지지도 중에서 한국과 대만의 미국산 쇠고기 수입 정책의 차이를 만들어낸 요인은 정당, 시민사회, 국정지지도에 기인한다. 이러한 요인들이 주는 정치사회학적 함의는 권위주의적 국정운영 행태의 잔존, 정치과정의 소통부재, 제도화되지 못한 시민운동의 한계를 들 수 있다. 미국산 쇠고기 수입개방을 통해 본 민주화 이후 한국의 민주주의는 실질적 민주주의로의 이행에 문제를 겪고 있다. 특히, 미국산 쇠고기 수입개방을 둘러싸고 정부는 시민의 요구에 응답하는 능력이 떨어진다. 향후 국가와 사회의 관계는 좀 더 개방되고 참여적인 정책결정 절차, 소통을 통한 문제해결이 요구된다. This article searches for what make South Korea and Taiwan adopt different policy responses to the same issue of opening the market to US beef import. For this, here would be examined the socio-political factors to affect the two countries' policies regarding US beef import. In particular, this paper focuses on the decision making elites (of parties, government, and the Blue House) to which the previous researches have not paid attention. There could be many factors such as Party, Civil society, approval rating for the President, pattern of change of government, security?strategical condition, KORUS FTA to make a difference in US beef policy between South Korea and Taiwan. The main factors are, however, Party, Civil society, approval rating for the President. The implication of political sociology is survival of Authoritarian statecraft, absence of communication of political process, limitation of civil movement which not become institutionalization. South Korea's US beef policy clearly showed that its democracy after democratization have troubles on the progress to virtual democracy. The government especially has a lack of sense of responsiveness responding to citizen's asking regarding US beef import. In the near future, relation between state and society is require participatory decision-making process, problem-solving through communication.

        Gene expression and promoter methylation of porcine uncoupling protein 3 gene

        Objective: Uncoupling protein 3 gene (UCP3) is a candidate gene associated with the meat quality of pigs. The aim of this study was to explore the regulation mechanism of UCP3 expression and provide a theoretical basis for the research of the function of porcine UCP3 gene in meat quality. Methods: Bisulfite sequencing polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and quantitative real-time PCR (Q-PCR) were used to analyze the methylation of UCP3 5′-flanking region and UCP3 mRNA expression in the adipose tissue or skeletal muscle of three pig breeds at different ages (1, 90, 210-day-old Putian Black pig; 90-day-old Duroc; and 90-day-old Dupu). Results: Results showed that two cytosine-guanine dinucleotide (CpG) islands are present in the promoter region of porcine UCP3 gene. The second CpG island located in the core promoter region contained 9 CpG sites. The methylation level of CpG island 2 was lower in the adipose tissue and skeletal muscle of 90-day-old Putian Black pigs compared with 1-day-old and 210-day-old Putian Black pigs, and the difference also existed in the skeletal muscle among the three 90-day-old pig breeds. Furthermore, the obvious changing difference of UCP3 mRNA expression was observed in the skeletal muscle of different groups. However, the difference of methylation status and expression level of UCP3 gene was not significant in the adipose tissue. Conclusion: Our data indicate that UCP3 mRNA expression level was associated with the methylation status of UCP3 promoter in the skeletal muscle of pigs.

        Molecular cloning and expression analysis of the transcription factor CobHLH40 from Cornus officinalis on the basis of de novo transcriptome sequencing

        Cornus officinalis is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine rich in active substances, such as iridoid glycosides, esters, polysaccharides, and tannins. C. officinalis replenishes the liver and kidney and retracts and removes phlegm. In this study, the candidate transcription factor bHLH40 from C. officinalis (CobHLH40) was predicted to be involved in iridoid glycoside biosynthesis. CobHLH40 was cloned from C. officinalis. Bioinformatics analysis was performed using the Protparatam, the ProtScale, and the SOPMA. CobHLH40 had a cDNA length of 2100 bp and a relative molecular mass of 63.32 kDa, and encoded 573 amino acids. The subcellular localization analysis indicated that CobHLH40 may be located in the nucleus. The comparison of multiple sequence alignments and phylogenetic relationships showed that the CobHLH40 was similar to the MYC2 of other plants, and that CobHLH40 had high homology with the MYC2 of Sesamum indicum. A prokaryotic expression vector was successfully constructed and transformed into the DE3 cells. The induction and expression of the fusion protein of CobHLH40 need further confirmation. The cloning and bioinformatics analysis results of CobHLH40, which may be related to iridoid glycoside synthesis, were screened and predicted for the first time on the basis of C. officinalis transcriptome sequencing. The temporal and spatial expression patterns of C. officinalis were also established. The CobHLH40 prokaryotic expression system provides a basis to further study its function.

        Stress field interference of hydraulic fractures in layered formation

        Single treatment and staged treatments in vertical wells are widely applied in sandstone and mudstone thin interbedded (SMTI) reservoir to stimulate the reservoir. The keys and difficulties of stimulating this category of formations are to avoid hydraulic fracture propagating through the interface between shale and sand as well as control the fracture height. In this paper, the cohesive zone method was utilized to build the 3-dimensional fracture dynamic propagation model in shale and sand interbedded formation based on the cohesive damage element. Staged treatments and single treatment were simulated by single fracture propagation model and double fractures propagation model respectively. Study on the changes of fracture vicinity stress field during propagation is to compare and analyze the parameters which influence the interfacial induced stresses between two different fracturing methods. As a result, we can prejudge how difficult it is that the fracture propagates along its height direction. The induced stress increases as the pumping rate increasing and it changes as a parabolic function of the fluid viscosity. The optimized pump rate is $4.8m^3/min$ and fluid viscosity is $0.1Pa{\cdot}s$ to avoid the over extending of hydraulic fracture in height direction. The simulation outcomes were applied in the field to optimize the treatment parameters and the staged treatments was suggested to get a better production than single treatment.

        Metabolic Regulation of Gene Expression by Histone Lysine β-Hydroxybutyrylation

        <P><B>Summary</B></P> <P>Here we report the identification and verification of a β-hydroxybutyrate-derived protein modification, lysine β-hydroxybutyrylation (Kbhb), as a new type of histone mark. Histone Kbhb marks are dramatically induced in response to elevated β-hydroxybutyrate levels in cultured cells and in livers from mice subjected to prolonged fasting or streptozotocin-induced diabetic ketoacidosis. In total, we identified 44 histone Kbhb sites, a figure comparable to the known number of histone acetylation sites. By ChIP-seq and RNA-seq analysis, we demonstrate that histone Kbhb is a mark enriched in active gene promoters and that the increased H3K9bhb levels that occur during starvation are associated with genes upregulated in starvation-responsive metabolic pathways.
