Three new alkaloids, $2{\alpha}$-hydroxy-6-O-n-butyloduline, O-n-butyllycorenine, (-)-N-(chloromethyl)lycoramine (1-3), and a new phenolic compound, ((7S)-7-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-hydroxypropyl)-2'-methylbenzene-3',6'-diol (14), along with ten known alkaloids (4-13), were isolated from the bulbs of Lycoris aurea collected from Huaihua County of Hunan Province, China. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including HRESIMS, UV, IR, and NMR. All the isolated compounds were tested for their neuroprotective effects against $CoCl_2$ and $H_2O_2$-induced SH-SY5Y cell death. Compounds 1-7 and 10 exhibited significant neuroprotective effects against $CoCl_2$-induced SH-SY5Y cell injury, while compounds 1-5, 7, 10 and 12 showed obvious neuroprotective effects against $H_2O_2$-induced SH-SY5Y cell death.

Jin An,도아라,Kang Hae Yeon,김우진,이상훈,Lee Ji-Hyang,Song Woo-Jung,Kwon Hyouk-Soo,조유숙,문희범,Hu Sile,Adcock Ian M,Chung Kian Fan,Won Sungho,Kim Tae-Bum 대한천식알레르기학회 2021 Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Research Vol.13 No.4
Purpose Although genome-wide association studies (GWASs) represent the most powerful approach for identifying genes that influence asthma, to date, no studies have established genetic susceptibility to asthma in the Korean population. This study aimed to identify genetic variants associated with adult Korean asthmatics and compare them with the significant single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of UK asthmatics from the UK Biobank. Methods Patients were defined as having asthma if they were diagnosed by a doctor or taking medications for asthma. Controls were defined as individuals without asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. We performed quality control, genotype imputation, GWAS, and PrediXcan analyses. In the GWAS, a P value of < 5 × 10−8 was considered significant. We compared significant SNPs between Korean and UK patients with asthma. Results A total of 1,386 asthmatic patients and 5,205 controls were analyzed. The SNP rs1770, located near the human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-DQB1, was the most significant SNP (P = 4.5 × 10−10). In comparison with 24 SNPs in a GWAS of UK asthmatics, six SNPs were significant with the same odds ratio (OR) direction, including signals related to type 2 inflammation (e.g., IL1RL1, TSLP, and GATA3) and mucus plugging (e.g., MUC5AC). HLA-DQA1 showed an opposite OR direction. The HLA-DQB1 gene demonstrated significantly imputed mRNA expression in the lung tissue and whole blood. Conclusions The SNP rs1770 of HLA-DQB1 was the most significant in Korean asthmatics. Similarities and discrepancies were found in the genetic variants between Korean and UK asthmatics. GWAS of Korean asthmatics should be replicated and compared with those of GWAS of other ethnicities. Chinese writings had been reprinted or translated after they were spread to Korean Peninsula. There were many scholars who made Chines writings localized by selection, adaptation, translation, annotation or recreation directly or not. To some extent, almost all Chinese writings in Korean had connection with China Culture. We can know how popular Chinese writings were from that. On the other side, it showed regional characters during spread time. It created more valuable treasures for Chinese writings. The types of Chinese writings in Korean which were recreated on the basis of the Chinese writings in china are extensive, including the history books which are useful for the country's rejuvenation and the Confucian classics which promote Confucianism, and agricultural books, medical books, military books which are close ties with grass-roots social life. The number of literary works is very large. The works were imitated, commented, selected, translated, and annotated from genre, subject matter to the creative form. We can see the spread style of the Chinese culture in different historical periods through these Chinese writings in Korean. At the same time we can see the Korean literati’s cultural orientation and cultural choice in different periods. Some of the Chinese writings have been lost in China, but they are saved in the form of commentaries, annotations, and interpretations. These Korean commentaries, annotations, and interpretations have important value in the history of philology and the history of cultural exchanges between China and Korea. These Korean writings created by Korean scholars on the basis of Chinese writings in China have been and will continue to be valued by both Chinese and Korean scholars and will promote a new round of academic exchanges in the 21st century.
Syntheses and Thermal Behaviors of Rb(FOX-7)·H2O and Cs(FOX-7)·H2O
Jinan Luo,Kangzhen Xu,Min Wang,Jirong Song,Xiaolei Ren,Yongshun Chen,Fengqi Zhao 대한화학회 2010 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.31 No.10
Two new energetic organic alkali metal salts, 1,1-diamino-2,2-dinitroethylene rubidium salt [Rb(FOX-7)·H2O] and 1,1-diamino-2,2-dinitroethylene cesium salt [Cs(FOX-7)·H2O], were synthesized by reacting of 1,1-diamino-2,2-dinitroethylene (FOX-7) and rubidium chloride or cesium chloride in alkali methanol aqueous solution, respectively. The thermal behaviors of Rb(FOX-7)·H2O and Cs(FOX-7)·H2O were studied with DSC and TG methods. The critical temperatures of thermal explosion of the two compounds are 216.22 and 223.73 oC, respectively. Specific heat capacities of the two compounds were determined with a micro-DSC method, and the molar heat capacities are 217.46 and 199.47 J mol‒1K‒1 at 298.15 K, respectively. The adiabatic times-to-explosion were also calculated to be a certain value of 5.81 - 6.36s for Rb(FOX-7)·H2O, and 9.92 - 10.54 s for Cs(FOX-7)·H2O. After FOX-7 becoming alkali metal salts, thermal decomposition temperatures of the compounds heighten with the rise of element period, but thermal decomposition processes become intense.
Hypersonic thin plate flutter problem prediction using CFD-CSD approach
Jinan Lv,Zhichao Fu,Feng Feng,Ziqiang Liu 한국전산유체공학회 2014 한국전산유체공학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2014 No.10
Hypersonic low-aspect-ratio thin plate flutter problem should be considered as a special aeroelastic case. In this paper, the flutter problem of a hypersonic thin elastic plate under Ma 6 flight condition is analyzed using CFD/CSD approach. The computed results indicate that in this case the coupling time step size should be considered cautiously but dual-time stepping and viscosity effect appears to be not significant for aeroelastic response of the thin plate.
CFD/CSD Approach to Evaluate the Aeroelastic Response of Hypersonic Vehicle Wing
Jinan Lv,Li Guo,Jian Sun,Ziqiang Liu 한국전산유체공학회 2014 한국전산유체공학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2014 No.10
A coupling numerical simulation technology which combined computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method with computational structure dynamic (CSD) is developed. Several kinds of mode to exchange data for CFD/CSD coupled computation is designed. In this paper, aeroelastic response of hypersonic wing under Ma 5 wind tunnel experimental condition is calculated and compared with piston theory method as an example. The influence of coupling mode is discussed. The computed result indicates CDF/CSD method of aeroelastic simulation on the threedimensional wing is feasible and credible.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Setting healthful beverage expectations, making calcium-rich foods and beverages (CRF/B) available, and role modeling are parenting practices promoting calcium intake among early adolescents. This study aimed to evaluate emotion-based messages designed to motivate parents of early adolescents to perform these practices. SUBJECTS/METHODS: Emotion-based messages were developed for each parenting practice and tested in 35 parents from 5 states. Findings were used to modify messages and develop a survey administered via Amazon MechanicalTurk to a convenience sample of Asian (n = 166) and Hispanic (n = 184) parents of children 10-13 years. Main outcome measures were message comprehension, motivation, relevance, acceptability, and novelty. Engagement in the parenting practices was also assessed. RESULTS: Message comprehension was acceptable for the majority of parents. Most also agreed that messages were motivational (setting healthful beverage expectations (69.0%), making CRF/B available (67.4%), and role modeling (80.0%)), relevant and acceptable. About 30-50% indicated they had not seen the information before. Many parents indicated they were already engaging in the practices (> 70%). No racial/ethnic differences were observed for responses to messages or engaging in parenting practices. CONCLUSIONS: Results indicate that emotion-based messages designed to motivate parents to engage in parenting practices that promote calcium intake among early adolescents were motivating, relevant, and acceptable.
