        카노 모델을 이용한 고창 자연마당의 서비스 품질 속성 분류

        This study was conducted to classify quality attributes for quality elements of public service targeting Gochang Jayeonmadang and analyze their impact on resident satisfaction and dissatisfaction by each service quality element by using the Kano model and the customer satisfaction coefficient and dissatisfaction coefficient of Timko(1993). As a result of the study, all 20 quality elements of public service were classified as one-dimensional attributes. Since the Jayeonmadang project restores the damaged natural environment and restores the ecosystem, it is judged that satisfaction is proportionately satisfied as the natural environment has been restored and the ecosystem has been restored. According to Timko (1993)’s analysis of customer satisfaction coefficient, it is believed that the most effective way to improve residents’ satisfaction is to carefully establish and implement maintenance plans and to create a good environment to ensure that plants have settled.

        A Comparative Study of the Effects of Different Methods for Preparing RGO/Metal-Oxide Nanocomposite Electrodes on Supercapacitor Performance

        We have synthesized binary reduced-graphene-oxide (RGO)/metal-oxide (Ni(OH)2, NiO, MnO2, and Fe3O4) nanocomposites by using a facile hydrothermal process. The morphology and the structure of the composite are confirmed by using x-ray diffraction (XRD), high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and Raman spectroscopy. The electric capacitances that have been achieved for the nanocomposites at a current density of 1 A/g are 55, 140, 150 and 183 F/g for RGO/Fe3O4, RGO/Ni(OH)2, RGO/NiO and RGO/MnO2, respectively. Among them, RGO/MnO2 having the best electric capacity was used for preparing a current collector electrode by using various methods to attach the RGO/MnO2 nanocomposite to nickel foams. The supercapacitor performances of differently prepared current collector electrodes were tested, and the electric capacities found with the nanocomposites having a current density of 1 A/g are 28, 53, 112 and 212 F/g when the two-step drop method, the hydrothermal method, the doctor-blade method and the nanocomposite-drop method were used, respectively. Compared to a single metal-oxide, RGO/MnO2 nanocomposites show a superior electric conductivity, an electric capacity and a charge/discharge efficiency for supercapacitor performance, indicating that the RGO/metal-oxide nanocomposite is a promising material for supercapacitor applications.

        Epidemiology of Suicide in Korea

        In 2002, an estimated 877,000 lives were lost worldwide through suicide. In Korea, suicidal deaths have increased very rapidly since the economic crisis in 1997, and suicide is regarded as one of the most serious public health and social issues in Korea. This study examines the current situation and trends of the recently increasing rates of suicidal deaths, ideas, and attempts in Korea. This study reanalyzed the 20-year statistics of suicidal deaths recently published by the National Statistical Office and the data of the National Health Interview Survey conducted in 1995 and 1998. The suicidal mortality rate in Korea is quite high compared to those in other OECD countries and the rate of increase is the highest. The rate of suicidal idea is high among males, those in their late teens and those in their seventies. The suicidal attempt rate is higher among females and those in their late teens. Suicide, one of the important causes of death in the younger age group, has a greater socioeconomic impact than other common causes of death in the older age group. Therefore, we are in urgent need of a public mental health network to prevent suicide and to detect and treat early mental health problems leading to suicide.

        Acoustically excited oscillating bubble on a flexible structure and its energy-harvesting capability

        When a bubble oscillates under the action of an acoustic field, it generates a cavitational microstreaming flow around it. We here explore oscillation dynamics of a bubble hanging on a flexible structure (i.e., piezocantilever) by acoustic excitation, and assess the suitability of the proposed method to micro-energy harvesting systems. We preferentially investigate the characteristics of bubble oscillation, such as the maximum amplitude and resonant frequency by varying the applied frequency and bubble size. The amplitude of the oscillating bubble is found to be maximized at the resonant frequency depending on the bubble size. Additionally, we measured the electrical outcome generated from bubble oscillation-induced microstreaming and resultant vibration of the piezocantilever, as functions of the applied frequency, bubble size, and distance between the bubble and piezoactuator. The generated voltage is considerably dependent of the applied frequency and bubble size. Meanwhile, it is inversely proportional to the distance between the bubble and piezoactuator. Finally, we found that the electrical output can be can be improved by increasing the number of bubbles. This work will provide a new framework for the fundamental design of bubble-mediated micro-energy harvesters and microsensors.

      • ILP 명령 스케쥴링에서의 복사 제거를 위한 낙관적 융합 기법

        수퍼스칼라(superscalar)나 VLIW 와 같은 명령어 수준 병렬화(ILP) 프로세서의 성능을 극대화하는 과감한 명령어 스케쥴링은 소프트웨어 파이프라이닝(software pipelining)과 같은 스케쥴링 과정을 거치면서 일반적인 복사 명령어 제거 기법으로 없앨 수 없는 서로 간섭관계를 없앰으로써 제거할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 루프 펼침이 수행된 루프 내부의 복사 명령을 제거하는 기법으로 그래프 컬러링 상에 구현한 낙관적 융합 (coalesce)기법을 제안한다. 그래프 컬러링에서의 융합 기법은 간선의 개수가 많은 노드를 만들어 낼 수 있으므로 채색성에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 알려져 왔으나 본 기법에서는 융합되는 노드에 동시에 간섭하는 노드의 간선의 수가 줄어드는 긍정적인 영향을 최대한 이용하여 채색성을 높이고 융합된 노드에 대한 실제 버림(spill)이 일어나는 경우 유효 범위 분절(live range splitting)을 통하여 버림의 부담을 최대한 줄이도록 하였으며 이를 VLIW 스케쥴링 된 SPEC 정수 벤치마크 루프 내부의 복사 명령 제거에 적용한 결과 제거 가능한 복사 명령의 99%를 제거하면서도 버림 명령은 다른 융합 기법과 비교하여 가장 적게 발생하는 우수한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. Aggressive instruction scheduling techniques for the instruction-level parallelism(ILP) processors such as superscalar and VLIW processors generate many copy instructions in loops that cannot be eliminated due to the interference between their operands. They become eliminable after loop unrolling that removes the interference. This paper proposes a coalescing heuristic called optimistic coalescing to eliminate such copies. Coalescing has been known as harmful to colorability in graph coloring register allocation since it may yield high-degree coalesced nodes. Optimistic coalescing, however, fully exploits the positive impact of coalescing that it may reduce the degrees of nodes to improve colorability. In addition optimistic coalescing performs live range splitting on the coalesced nodes to be spilled. Experimental results show that it eliminates around 99% of the eliminable copies while generating the smallest amount of spill instructions among all coalescing heuristics.

      • Identification and characterization of triamcinolone acetonide, a microglial-activation inhibitor

        <P>Recent studies show that necrotic neuronal cells (NNC) activate microglia, thereby leading to neuronal cell death. This suggests that chemicals that inhibit microglia activation may be used as neuroprotective drugs. In this context, we screened a chemical library for inhibitors of microglia activation. Using a screening system based on a nitrite assay, we isolated two chemicals that inhibit nitric oxide (NO) release from activated microglia: triamcinolone acetonide (TA) and amcinonide. The half-maximal inhibitory concentrations (IC50) of TA and amcinonide for NO release inhibition were 1.78 nM and 3.38 nM, respectively. These chemicals also inhibited NNC-induced expression of the proinflammatory genes iNOS, TNF-α, and IL-1β in glial cells. A study based on a luciferase assay revealed that TA attenuated NNC-induced microglia activation by blocking the NF-κB signaling pathway. In addition, TA protected cortical neurons in coculture with microglia from LPS/IFN-γ-induced neuronal cell death. In conclusion, TA may inhibit microglia activation and may protect neuronal cells from death induced by microglial activation.</P>

        태국 음식을 통해 본 한국 속 ‘동남아 현상’

        본 연구의 목적은 음식에 관한 초국가주의적 시각을 바탕으로, 태국의 음식문화가 국경을 넘어 한국에 확산되고 있는 현상을 한국 속 ‘동남아 현상’이라는 개념설정 아래 태국 음식의 근원과 경로를 살펴보는 것이다. 다채로운 태국 문화의 근원을 이루는 태국음식의 특징을 알아보고, 태국 음식이 국경을 넘어 확산되는 유인과 세계화 전략을 중점적으로 연구하였다. 또한 한국 내 태국 음식의 현황을 태국 음식점의 개설 상황을 중심으로 살펴보고, 200여명에 대한 설문조사를 통해 한국 사람들이 태국 음식에 대해 갖는 인식과 반응을 알아보았다. 한국과 태국을 오가는 상호방문객이 급격하게 증가하고, 태국음식이 세계적으로 인기를 얻으며 확산되고 있는 현상에도 불구하고, 한국인의 입맛에 태국음식은 아직 생소하고, 잘 맞지 않는 것으로 보인다. 그러나 동남아의 특징이 강하게 배어있는 태국음식은 짧은 기간에 한국 사회에 상당히 적극적으로 진출하고 있고, 한국인들의 입맛에 맞추어 나가는 노력을 다양하게 전개하고 있다. 마지막으로 태국 음식이 한국에서 초국가적인 문화현상으로 자리 잡는 것과 관련하여, 한국 속 ‘동남아 현상’으로서 태국음식은 익숙해짐과 현지화의 과정을 거치면서 한국인의 문화적 다양성을 키우는데 많은 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 전망한다. This study aims to examine the origin and channel of the Thai food using the conception of 'Southeast Asian Phenomenon' in Korea which expands beyond the border on the basis of transnationalism. This study stipulates the characteristics of the Thai food which consists of dynamic Thai culture. It also focuses on the incentives of the Thai food and its global strategy beyond the border. After reviewing the current situation of the Thai restaurants in Korea for the purpose of evaluating the Thai food in Korea, the recognition and response of Korean people to the Thai food are examined through the survey with over 200 people. Despite of the rapid increase of mutual exchanges between Korea and Thailand and the global popularity of the Thai food, the Thai food may be still new and less attractive to Korean people. But as one of the symbols of Southeast Asian culture, the Thai food has been penetrating into the Korean society for the short period and has been making every effort to adapt to the tastes of Korean people. Finally, with the connection of settling down the Thai food in Korea as a transnational cultural phenomenon, the researcher of this study looks forward to the Thai food's contribution to developing Korean cultural diversity through the familiarization and localization of the Thai food in Korea as a 'Southeast Asian Phenomenon' in Korea.
