      • ICT를 활용한 수학과 교수-학습 방안 연구

        The purpose of thesis is to make the students who are not interested in athematics have interest in mathematics by using information & Communication Technology(ICT), to understand the nathematical principles, to know how close they are to us through data connected with real life and direct manufacturing and experiment of cyberspace, to solve the mathematics for themselves, and to make mathematics teachers develop and make use of ICT teaching-learning manual. Let’s see the following thesis for this purpose. First, it was divided into 8 teaching-learning activity types in connection with characteristics and educational use possibility of Information Technology. It was analyzed into concept, teaching-learning process procedures, and illustration for teaching-learning. Second, gathered and analyzed the scattered internet sites about mathematics, and made use of the intenet sites for teaching and learning mathematics. Third, for effective ICT teaching-learning. I chose the teaching-learning main idea, objectives and teaching-learning activity type. and I checked the aility to use information Technology and then chose the environment and media for information Technology. And then I planned the teaching-learning strategy. Fourth, I developed and applied the teaching-learning model using information Technology, and analyzed the results. This ICT teaching-learning activities brought interests for mathematics, accomplishment motivation, confidence about mathematics, and sense of superiority to the students. In addition to my student became active in mathematics class through this ICT teaching-learning activities.

        The future society is expected to be rapidly change in all areas, that is, the length of change time is becoming much smaller than that of generation time. It is very important to prepare the citizens who possess scientific literacy which actively cope with the rapid changes and specialization of society. The sources of rapid changes may be due to the developments in science and technology. Therefore, the importance of science education will be increasingly high. Scientific literacy should be improved basically and systematically from the early stages of formal education. Teachers who are responsible to educate children should be able to research in the areas of science education as well as science itself, and to have capacity to transmit them to the classroom. To do this, the graduate course and the science education within the system beyond the level of college education are essential parts of teacher education. In the graduate course, it is important that science itself and pedagogy of science should be balanced.

      • Urea 박테리아 전극에 관한 연구

        Proteus vulgaris 를 ammonia와 carbon dioxide gas-sensor에 고정시켜 감응도와 재현성이 우수한 요소에 대한 박테리아 전극을 직접 제조하여 pH, 온도, 완충용액, 박테리아의 양, 여러 가지 아미노산 및 무기염류에 대한 영향과 전극의 수명 등에 관하여 조사하였다. 먼저 ammonia-박테리아 전극은 25℃에서 pH 7.4인 0.05M phosphate 완충용액을 사용하였을 때가 최적이었으며, 7.0 ×10 exp (-4) -3.0 ×10 exp (-2)M 내에서 직선을 나타내었고, 이때 감응도는 116.7mV/decade였다. 한편, carbon dioxide-박테리아 전극은 30℃, pH7.0, 0.1M phosphate 완충용액에서 가장 우수한 감응을 보였다. 이 경우는 7.0 ×10 exp (-4) - 5.0 ×10 exp (-2)M 내에서 45.4 - 45.7mV/decade를 나타내었다. 이들 두 전극중에서 carbon deoxide-박테리아 전극을 이용하여 요소를 정량한다면 방해물질들의 방해가 최소화되었다. 실제 임상적 응용에서 분광 광도법과 비교한 결과 실험과정이 간단하고 편리하여 신속하게 많은 양의 시료분석이 가능하다. Bio-electrodes for urea have been constructed by immobilizing the Proteus vulgaris on ammonia and carbon dioxide gas-sensors. The bacteria containing urease convert each molecule of urea into two molecules of ammonia and one molecule of carbon dioxide gas. Ammonia-bacterial electrode based on ammonia gas-sensor has linearity in the range of 7.0 ×10 exp (-4) - 3.0 ×10 exp (-2)M urea in pH 7.4, 0.05M phosphate buffer solution at 25℃. While carbon dioxide-bacterial electrode based on carbon dioxide gas-sensor has linearity in the range of 7.0 ×10 exp (-4) - 5,0 ×10 exp (-2)M urea in pH 7.0, 0.1M phosphate buffer solution at 30℃. These electrodes were investigated for the effects of pH, temperature, buffer solutions, bacterial amounts and interferences, and life time. As the clinical applications, urea in urine was determined by these devices and was compared with spectrophotometric method. As the results, those methods were by far more simple and rapid than these method.

        In consequence of cellular network architecture evolution, a cell size is getting small such as micro/pico cell in new generation communication(FPLMTS). Due to the frequent handoffs in the pico cell, re-connection setup delay and the number of pre-established connections for the seamless handoff might be increased on ATM-based transport network. To reduce handoff processing delay and the number of pre-established connections, this paper proposes a new re-routing scheme. In the scheme, in order to obtain paths for handoff prior to handoff, the new cell architecture and the scheme of searching paths is also suggested. We conclude by comparing the proposed re-routing scheme to the existing schemes in the literature.

        One of the ways to reduce abroad dependence for energy is to utilize solar energy when we are now confronted with not only insufficiency of natural resources but also the serious problems of environmental pollution. Therefore, full attention must now be paid to the development of solar energy system as alternative energy. To achieve this, solar hot water supply system was established at Chosun university, Gwang-ju, and experimental data were obtained based on meterological data and solar radiation. This study has been used the monthly mean values of the daily measurements obtained by data acquisition software Labview. This study shows Gwang-ju is a good region for the utilization of solar energy.

        대퇴동맥을 통한 경피적 관동맥 중재시술 환자의 천자부위 지혈을 위한 Angioseal^(�) 사용과 고식적 용수 압박법의 비교 : 전향적 연구

        목적 : 경피적 관동맥 중재술은 최근 양적 및 질적으로 급격한 발전을 보였지만 시술 시 천자부위의 혈관 합병증은 아직 해결해야 할 문제점이다. 저자들은 대퇴동맥을 통한 경피적 관동맥 중재술을 환자에게 천자부위 지혈을 위한 혈관폐쇄기구인 안지오실의 안전성과 유용성을 고식적인 용수 압박법과 비교 연구하고자 하였다. 방법 : 2002년 4월부터 2003년 5월 사이에 삼성서울병원 심장혈관센터에서 대퇴동맥을 통한 경피적 관동맥 중재술을 성공적으로 시행한 200명의 환자(안지오실 사용군: A군, 100명, 고식적 용수압박법 사용군 B군, 100명)를 대상으로 시술 후 주요 합병증 및 경한 합병증, 지혈 후 환자가 자리에 앉기까지의 시간, 보행개시 가능시간, 총 재원 기간과 시술 1주 후의 합병증을 전향적으로 조사하여 비교 연구하였다. 결론 : 두 군에서 연령, 성별, 기저질환, 심혈관 질환의 위험요소, 시술의 종류, 시술 중 사용한 헤파린의 양, clopidogrel의 양, ticlopidine의 양, 지혈 시 수축기와 확장기혈압, ACT (activated clotting time)는 차이가 없었다. A군이 B군에 비해 시술 후 자리에 앉기까지의 시간 (A군: 4.3±0.3시간, B군: 13.7±0.8시간, p=0.004) 및 보행개시까지의 시간(A군: 6.8±0.5시간, B군: 18.8±2.1시간, p=0.013)이 유의하게 짧았다. 시술 후 주요 합병증은 두군 모두에서 관찰되지 않았으며, 경한 합병증의 전체발생은 A군에서 유의하게 적었다(A군: 28명, B군: 19명, p=0.003). 반상출혈의 경우는 A군에서 유의하게 낮았지만(A군: 3명, B군: 12명, p=0.01), 혈종, 출혈의 발생은 두군간에 차이가 없었다. 총 재원기간에는 두 군간에 차이가 없었다(p=0.239). 시술 1주 후 경과관찰에서 주요합병증은 역시 두 군 모두에서 관찰되지 않았으며, 경한 합병증의 전체발생은 두 군에서 차이가 없었다(A군: 15명, B군: 13명 p=0.418), 반상출혈의 빈도는 차이가 없었지만 혈종의 발생은 A군에서 더 낮았다(A군: 2명, B군:6명, p=0.004). 두 군 모두에서 출혈은 발생하지 않았다. 결론 : 대퇴동맥을 통한 경피적 관동맥 중재술을 시행한 환자에서 안지오실의 사용은 고식적 용수 압박법에 비해 환자의 침상 안정시간을 줄여 조기 활동개시가 가능하게 하였으며 국소합병증의 위험도를 일부 낮추어, 시술에 따른 환자의 불편을 현저하게 감소시킬 수 있다고 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Background : Although the number and the quality of percutaneous coronary intervention have been recently increased dramatically, the vascular complication at puncture site is still the major cause of patients' morbidity. We evaluated the safety and efficacy of newly of newly-developed collagen-based arterial closure device, Angioseal after transfemoral percuatenous coronary intervention. Methods : This study was designed as a prospective single center non-randomized comparative study. A total 200 patients undergoing transfemoral percutaneous coronary intervention were enrolled between April 2002 and May 2003. They were divided into two groups; Angioseal group (group A, n=100) and manual compression group (group B, n=100). The baseline clinical and angiographic characteristics were reviewed. The time to sit up, the time to ambulation, the duration of hospital stay, major and minor vascular puncture site complications were monitored. The patients were followed-up for 1 week after procedure by telephone. Results : The baseline clinical characteriwtics, clinical diagnosis, cardiocascular risk factors, typesof procedure, doses and numbers of anticoagulants were similar between two groups. The blood pressure and activated clotting time were also similar. The time to sit up (group A: 4.3±0.3 hours, group B: 13.7±0.8 hours, p=0.004) and the time to ambulation (group A: 6.8±0.5 hours, group B: 18.8±2.1 hours, p=0.013) were shorter in group A. No major vascular complications were noted. The incidence of hematoma and bleeding were not significantly different between two groups. The incidence of ecchymosis, however, was significantly lower in group A (group A:12%, group B: 3%, p=0.001) The duration of gospital stay was similar between groups. During 7 days of follow-up period incidence of hematoma was significantly lower in group A (p=0.004). Although the incidence of ecchymosis was not significantly different between two groups. Conclusion : The angioseal may be associated with earlier ambulation and less patients' morbidity with low incidence of local complication rate compared to manual compression after transfemoral percutaneous coronary intervention.

      • CMP 실리카 슬러리 노화 현상에 대한 연구

        As the integrated circuit device shrinks to the smaller dimension, the chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process was required for the global planarization of inter-metal dielectric (IMD) layer with free-defect. However, as the IMD layer gets thinner, micro-scratches are becoming as major defects. Micro-scratches are generated by agglomerated slurry, solidified and attached slurry in pipe line of slurry supply system. It is well known that the presence of hard and larger size particles in the CMP slurries increases the defect density and surface roughness of the polished wafers. In this paper, we have studied aging effect the of CMP slurry as a function of particle size. We prepared and compared the self-developed silica slurry by adding of abrasives before and after annealing. As our preliminary experiment results, we could be obtained the relatively stable slurry characteristics comparable to original silica slurry in the slurry aging effect.

      • 한국형 출혈열 환자에서 분리한 한타 바이러스의 핵산 분석

        Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS)is an infectious disease showing diverse clinical manifestations according to different serotypes of hantavirus. On the assumption that the antigenicity, nucleotide and amino acid sequence diversity of hantaviruses, as well as immune response diversity of individual KHF patients may be present, this study was performed to analyse the genetic diversity of hantaviruses isolated from patients with KHF. In the 13 samples hantaviral RNAs were extracted, cDNAs of partial M segment were amplified by RT-PCR using genus-reactive primer, amplified cNNAs were analyzed by direct sequencing method, and then the nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences were compared with previously known sequences of four serotypes of hantavirus isolated from rodent hosts and each other by the computer assistance. The results were as follows. The nucleotide and amino acid sequences of 11 samples among the 13 human isolates showed 90.3∼95.5%, 86.7∼97.9% the other 1 samples 82.7%, 71.9% homology respectively to those of Hantaan virus 76-118 strain, and another 1 sample showed 83.7%, 75.3% homology respectively to those of Seoul virus B1 strain isolated from rodent host. The nucleotide and amino acid sequences of 7 among 12 Hantaan samples showed differences within 5%, 10% respectively each other and high genetic similarities, but those of the oehr 5 among 12 Hantaan samples showed low genetic similarities each other. In conclusion, hantaviruese isolated from KHF patients showed genetic diversity compared with previously known hantaviruses isolated from rodent hosts.

        당뇨병성 신증 환자 20예에서 복합한약전탕액이 신기능에 미치는 영향

        Diabetic Nephropathy is one of the major causes of chronic renal failure. It is a common microvascular complication and clinically defined as the presence of persistent Proteinuria. We studied the effects and change of the renal function of Complex Herbal medication of the 20Diabetic Nephropathy patients. We measured the initial levels of Total Protein, Creatinine Clearance Rate(Ccr), Serum Creatinine(Serum-Cr), Urine Creatinine(Urine-Cr) and HbA1C on admission and followed up the level changes of Total Protein, Ccr, Serum-Cr and Urine-Cr on discharge. The results are following : Complex Herbal Medication does not cause the renal toxicity. The longer hypertension period is, the higher Serum-Cr level and Urine-Cr level. In an older age group, Urine-Cr is lower. 4.From the "Deficiency in Origin and Excess in Superficiality(本虛表實)“points of view, Complex Herbal Medication improves the Serum-Cr in Diabetic Nephropathy patients. According to this results, it could be suggested that Complex Herbal Medication does not cause the renal toxicity in Diabetic Nephropathy patients and intensive controls of blood sugar, blood pressure and Complex Herbal Medication prevent the renal failure in Diabetic Nephropathy patients with early stage of Microalbumiuria.

        Switching properties of bivariate Shewhart control charts for monitoring the covariance matrix

        A control chart is very useful in monitoring various production process. There are many situations in which the simultaneous control of two or more related quality variables is necessary. We construct bivariate Shewhart control charts based on the trace of the product of the estimated variance-covariance matrix and the inverse of the in-control matrix and investigate the properties of bivariate Shewart control charts with VSI procedure for monitoring covariance matrix in term of ATS (Average time to signal) and ANSW (Average number of switch) and probability of switch, ASI (Average sampling interval). Numerical results show that ATS is smaller than ARL. From examining the properties of switching in changing covariances and variances in ${\Sigma}$, ANSW values show that it does not switch frequently and does not matter to use VSI procedure.
