In this study, we cloned the ERF-B3 subfamily transcription factor gene BnaERF-B3-hy15 from Brassica napus L. Huyou15. This 600 bp gene encodes a 199 amino acid classic ethylene responsive factor (ERF), which shown no binding or very weak binding GCC box-binding activity by the yeast one-hybrid assay. We used gene shuffling and the yeast one-hybrid system to obtain three mutated sequences that can bind to the GCC box. Sequence analysis indicated that two residues, Gly156 in the AP2 domain and Phe62 at the N-terminal domain were mutated to arginine and serine, respectively. Changes of Gly156 to arginine and Phe62 to serine increased the GCC- binding activity of BnaERF-B3-hy15 and the alter of Gly156 to arginine changed the AP2-domain structure of BnaERF-B3- hy15. Objective: The aim of this study was to detect single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) of G protein-coupled receptor 54 (GPR54) gene and explore association of this candidate gene with reproductive traits in Jiaxing Black sows. Methods: Six pairs of primers of the gene were designed to amplify all exons thus sequences of which were detected by means of direct sequencing and then SNP loci were scanned. The effects of SNPs on total number of piglets born (TNB), number of piglets born alive (NBA), number of still born piglets (NSB), and litter weight at birth (LWB) of Jiaxing Black sows were analyzed. Results: Three SNP loci, including T3739C, C3878T and T6789C, were identified via comparison of sequencing and two genotypes (AB, BB) at each SNP site were observed. T3739C resulted in the change of amino acid (Leu→Pro) in corresponding protein, and C3878T resulted in synonymous mutation (Ile→Ile). Statistical results demonstrated that allele B was the preponderant allele at the three SNP loci and Genotype BB was the preponderant genotype. Meanwhile, Chi-Square test of these three SNPs indicated that all mutation sites fitted in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (p>0.05). For GPR54-T3739C locus, Jiaxing Black sows with genotype BB had 1.23 TNB and 1.28 NBA (p<0.01) that were more than those with genotype AB, respectively. Jiaxing Black sows that had the first two parities with genotype BB had additional 2.23 TNB, 2.27 NBA (p<0.01), and 1.94 LWB (p<0.05) compared to those with genotype AB, respectively. However, for other two loci, no significant difference was found between TNB, NBA, NSB, and LWB, and different genotypes of Jiaxing Black sows. Conclusion: In conclusion, the polymorphisms of GPR54-T3739C locus were significantly associated to TNB, NBA, and LWB and could be used as a potential genetic marker to improve reproductive function of Jiaxing black sows.
Study and Experimentation on Detection of Nicks inside of Porcelain with Acoustic Emission
Jin, Wei,Li, Fen Korea Multimedia Society 2006 멀티미디어학회논문지 Vol.9 No.12
An usual acoustic emission(AE) event has two widely characterized parameters in time domain, peak amplitude and event duration. But noise in AE measuring may disturb the signals with its parameters and aggrandize the signal incertitude. Experiment activity of detection of the nick inside of porcelain with AE was made and study on AE signal processing with statistic be presented in this paper in order to pick-up information expected from the signal with noise. Effort is concentrated on developing a novel arithmetic to improve extraction of the characteristic from stochastic signal and to enhance the voracity of detection. The main purpose discussed in this paper is to treat with signals on amplitudes with statistic mutuality and power density spectrum in frequency domain, and farther more to select samples for neural networks training by means of least-squares algorithm between real measuring signal and deterministic signals under laboratory condition. By seeking optimization with the algorithm, the parameters representing characteristic of the porcelain object are selected, while the stochastic interfere be weakened, then study for detection on neural networks is developed based on processing above.

A novel hysteresis PWM control strategy for synchronous buck converter is proposed. The proposed control strategy is based on ampere-second balance of the modulate capacitor, which not only offers faster transient response to meet the challenges of the power supply requirements of fast dynamic load changes, but also provides better stability and solves the compensation problem of error amplifier in the conversional voltage PWM control. Finally, the steady-state and dynamic operation of the control method is analyzed and verified by simulation and experimental results.
Experimental investigation of viscoelastic polymers for stabilizing foam
Wan-Fen Pu,PENGWEI,Lin Sun,Fa-yang Jin,Song Wang 한국공업화학회 2017 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.47 No.-
Foam stability can be significantly improved by adding a polymer in foam system, mainly due to thereduction of liquid drainage and the enhancement of interfacial adsorption behavior. In this paper, wecombined rheological properties with surface properties to investigate the effect of different polymers onthe stability of polymer enhanced foam, and then analyzed the foam stability from microscopicviewpoint. From the results, the liquid drainage of polymer enhanced foam was highly depending on thesolution viscosity with a high shear-rate (200 s 1) instead of the initial thickening ability of polymer, andthe stability of liquidfilms was improved by increasing solution elasticity or interfacial viscoelasticity orby reducing surface tension. Finally, the micro-experiment revealed that the XG (xanthan gum) enhancedfoam possessed the dense and uniform gas bubbles and the thick and multi-layered liquidfilms, whichcontributes to the reduction of coalescence and the increase offilm strength.

<P>The endosomal sorting complexes required for transport (ESCRTs) regulate protein trafficking from endosomes to lysosomes. Recent studies have shown that ESCRTs are involved in various cellular processes, including membrane scission, microRNA function, viral budding, and the autophagy pathway in many tissues, including the nervous system. Indeed, dysfunctional ESCRTs are associated with neurodegeneration. However, it remains largely elusive how ESCRTs act in post-mitotic neurons, a highly specialized cell type that requires dynamic changes in neuronal structures and signaling for proper function. This review focuses on our current understandings of the functions of ESCRTs in neuronal morphology, synaptic plasticity, and neurodegenerative diseases.</P>
