        An Analyze of the Development Experiences and Status quo of Electronic Commerce in China

This paper firstly introduces the developmental stages of E-commerce in China, and then draws out a whole picture of the status in quo. Basing on the analyses of the disadvantages and advantages, this paper predicts future of E-commerce in China as follow: A new period for deep developing E-commerce in China is coming, which will be very potential and promising.

        The Bacterial Surface Expression of SARS Viral Epitope using Salmonella typhi Cytolysin A

        The cytolysin A (ClyA) is a 34 kDa pore-forming cytotoxic protein and expressed by some enteric bacteria including Salmonella typhi. This toxin is transported on the bacterial surface and secreted without posttranslational modification. Using the surface display of ClyA, the expression vectors for 193-aa immunogenic antigen of spike protein (termed S1E) from severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) were constructed. The vectors carried a gene encoding S. typhi ClyA conjugated to S1E at the C terminus (termed ClyA-S1E) and asd gene in pGEM-T and pBR322, named pGApLCS1E and pBApLCS1E, respectively. An asd-mutated E. coli transformed with these vectors could grow without diaminopimelic acid (DAP), indicating that they were stably maintained in such mutants. ClyA-S1E recombinant proteins from these vectors were expressed on the surface of the attenuated S. typhimurium deficient of global virulence gene regulator, ppGpp. However, they did not show the hemolytic activity on the blood agar plate and cytotoxicity against HeLa cells. To examine whether bacteria expressing ClyA-S1E induced the immune response against S1E, S. typhimurium deficient of ppGpp and Asd was transformed with these vectors and orally immunized in mice. In the western blotting against GST-conjugated S1E using the immunized mouse sera, it was shown that the significant band was detected in the mouse serum by the bacteria transformed with pGApLCS1E but not with pBApLCS1E. It indicates that the immune response producing antibody was dependent on the expression level of ClyA-S1E. Therefore, ClyA delivery system can be used for SARS vaccine development.

        Effects of Al on microstructure and tensile properties of C-bearing high Mn TWIP steel

        The effects of Al on microstructure, stacking fault energy, tensile properties and fractured surface in Fe-18Mn-0.6C-(0-2)Al twinning-induced plasticity (TWIP) steels were systemically investigated. The Al addition suppressed the cementite precipitation during cooling after hot-rolling. The stacking-fault energy was linearly raised with a constant slope of 7.8mJm<SUP>-2</SUP> per 1 wt.% Al. The Al addition increased the yield stress, reduction in area, uniform (e<SUB>u</SUB>), and post-uniform (e<SUB>pu</SUB>) elongations, while it decreased the amount and rate of strain hardening and dynamic strain aging (DSA). In particular, although the e<SUB>pu</SUB> of the TWIP steel without Al was almost zero, it was improved up to ∼7% by addition of 2 wt.% Al, which was comparable with those of dual phase and TRIP steels with a similar tensile strength of 780MPa. In order to elucidate the reasons for the poor e<SUB>pu</SUB> in C-bearing TWIP steel and for the prolonged e<SUB>pu</SUB> by Al addition, the apparent absolute strain-rate sensitivity m=dσ/dlnε@? of two TWIP steels with different Al concentrations of 0 and 2 wt.% was investigated at room temperature. Both TWIP steels had negative strain-rate sensitivity at a large strain (ε=0.4) of just before necking. However, the Al addition increased the strain-rate sensitivity, resulting in improved e<SUB>pu</SUB> because of reduced DSA by decreases in both activity and diffusivity of C in austenite.

        Prediction of Growth of Escherichia coli O157 : H7 in Lettuce Treated with Alkaline Electrolyzed Water at Different Temperatures

        This study was conducted to develop a model for describing the effect of storage temperature (4, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35oC) on the growth of Escherichia coli O157 : H7 in ready-to-eat (RTE) lettuce treated with or without (control) alkaline electrolyzed water (AIEW). The growth curves were well fitted with the Gompertz equation, which was used to determine the specific growth rate (SGR) and lag time (LT) of E. coli O157 : H7 (R2 = 0.994). Results showed that the obtained SGR and LT were dependent on the storage temperature. The growth rate increased with increasing temperature from 4 to 35oC. The square root models were used to evaluate the effect of storage temperature on the growth of E. coli O157 : H7 in lettuce samples treated without or with AIEW. The coefficient of determination (R2), adjusted determination coefficient (R2 Adj), and mean square error (MSE) were employed to validate the established models. It showed that R2 and R2 Adj were close to 1 (> 0.93), and MSE calculated from models of untreated and treated lettuce were 0.031 and 0.025, respectively. The results demonstrated that the overall predictions of the growth of E. coli O157 : H7 agreed with the observed data.         MicroRNA-362 Inhibits Cell Proliferation and Invasion by Directly Targeting SIX1 in Colorectal Cancer

        Purpose: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer in China and poses high morbidity and mortality. In recentyears, increasing evidence has indicated that microRNAs played important functions in the occurrence and development of tumors. The purpose of this study was to identify the biological mechanisms of miR-362 in CRC. Materials and Methods: Quantitative real-time PCR was carried out to assess the expression of miR-362 and SIX1. The Kaplan-Meier method was employed to evaluate the 5-year overall survival of CRC patients. The proliferative and invasive abilities of CRCcells were assessed by MTT and transwell assays. Results: miR-362 was significantly decreased in CRC tissues and cell lines, compared to the normal tissues and normal cells. Asignificant connection was confirmed between the overall survival of 53 CRC patients and low expression of miR-362. Downregulationof miR-362 inhibited the proliferation and invasion through binding to the 3'-UTR of SIX1 mRNA in CRC. Additionally, wediscovered that SIX1 was a direct target gene of miR-362 and that the expression of miR-362 had a negative connection with SIX1expression in CRC. SIX1 could reverse partial functions in the proliferation and invasion in CRC cells. Conclusion: miR-362 may be a prognostic marker in CRC and suppress CRC cell proliferation and invasion in part through targetingthe 3'-UTR of SIX1 mRNA. The newly identified miR-362/SIX1 axis provides insight into the progression of CRC.

        농가생산 원유의 유질 및 위생진단에 관한 연구

        본 시험은 제주도내 92개 낙농가중 3지역 8개 낙농가 착유우 262두에서 생산되는 우유의 품질을 분석하고, 고품질 우유생산에 저해 요인이 되는 유방염 원인균을 분석 처방하여 체세포 수가 낮은 신선한 고품질의 우유를 생산코자 시험을 수행하였다. 6∼10월 중 일일 1두당 평균 산유량은 22.4㎏, 평균 유지율은 3.69%였다. 우유내 평균 세균수는 15천/㎖로 대체로 양호 하였으며, 체세포 수는 농가 평균 254.6천/㎖ 였고, 착유우 742분방에 대한 6∼10월간 체세포수의 분포 비율은 우유 ㎖당 20만 이하 68.8%, 20∼50만 18.8%, 50만 이상 12.4%였다. 유방염 원인균별 발생분포는 포도구균성이 47분방으로 가장 많았으며, 연쇄상 구균성 17분방, 바실러스성 12분방 등으로 분석되었다. 산유량, 유지율, 세균 수, 체세포 수를 적용한 농가별 월간 조수입은 두당 평균 407천원이였으며, E와 A 농가에서는 456∼445천원으로 높은 반면, H농가는 314천원으로 낮아 농가간에 큰 소득 차이가 있었다. 결론적으로 낙농소득 향상을 위해서는 사양체계 개선에 의한 산유량 및 유지 율을 높이고, 위생적인 사양관리로 세균 수를 낮추며, 유방염의 예방 및 정기 검진에 의한 적정 처방으로 체세포 수를 경감시켜야 할 것으로 사료된다. This study was conducted to investigate the milk quality produced from dairy farms in Jeju province and to analyze the variety of pathogenes and the number of somatic cells in the milk. Data were collected from 262 lactating cows from 8 farms of three regions and the results obtained are summarized as follows, 1. The average daily milk yields and milk fat contents from June and October were 22.3 ㎏ and 3.7%, respectively. 2. The average number of bacterial counts in raw milk was 1.5×10^4/㎖, but that in farm A was over 3.0×10^4/㎖. 3. The somatic cell counts were 2.5×10^5/㎖ in average and those in farm G and H were higher than those in other farms. Their distribution in 262 lactating cows from June to October was as follows; less than 2.0×10^4 /㎖ in 68.8% of cows, 2.0-5.0×10^4/㎖ in 18.8% of cosws and more than 5.0×10^4/㎖ in 12.4% of cows. 4. Of the 113 isolates (compartments of cow udder) from mastitic milk, Staphylococcus aureus was found in 47, Streptococcus ogalatiae in 17 and Bacillus in 12. 5. The average monthly income of the farmers was 407 thousand won/head, and that in farm A or E was higher than that of farm H (456-475 thousand won vs. 314 thousand won) In conclusion, to improve income dairy farmers should reduce the somatic cell counts in the milk and mastitis infection through regular disinfection and inspection

        A Study on Passenger Safety Improvement Methods through the Analysis of Evacuation Equipment on Passenger ships

        이 연구는 세월호 사고 이후 변화하고 있는 국민의 안전의식에 부합하여 여객선에서의 안전을 향상시키기 위한 방안으로 여객선 안전장비 기준과 여객선에 설치되는 주요 안전장비별 기준을 분석하고, 여객선 탈출 장비 사용에 따른 소요시간을 비교 분석하여 비상 시 승객이 여객선에서 탈출하는 시간을 단축할 수 있는 방안을 고찰하였다. 여객선 탈출 장비는 구명정, 구조정, 데비트형 구명뗏목, 투하식 구명뗏목, 해상탈출설비(MES) 등 다양하지만 국내를 운항하는 여객선의 경우에는 대부분이 투하식 구명뗏목을 설치하고 있다. 비상 시 탈출시간은 연령별, 성별, 장비관련 교육 이수 여부, 부상여부에 따라서 차이를 보이기 때문에 증가하는 크루즈 여행객과 연안에 거주하는 인구의 고령화에 따라 증가하는 노약자 여객의 비상 시 안전을 확보하기 위해서는 여객선 피난장비를 설치할 때 교통약자에 대한 배려가 필요하다. 따라서 교통약자를 포함한 모든 여객선 승선인원이 쉽고, 빠르고, 안전하게 선박을 탈출할 수 있도록 해상탈출설비를 추가적으로 설치할 필요가 있다. As a way to improve the safety of passenger ships in accordance with the safety awareness of the people that has increased since the Sewol accident, this study discusses ways to shorten the time to evacuate from the passenger ship through analysis of the standards of passenger ships’ lifesaving appliances and comparison of Embarkation and Launching duration(E+L) in several types of survival crafts. There are various lifesaving appliances including lifeboats, rescue boats, davit launched liferafts, inflatable liferafts and MES that can be installed on passenger ships. However, most of local passenger ships are equipped with inflatable liferafts. Escape times vary according to age, gender, equipment, training and injuries and the number of elderly people using passenger ships is increasing due to an increase in the number of cruise travelers and an aging population living on the coast in Korea. Thus, in order to secure the safety of passengers in case of emergency, consideration should be given to the mobility disadvantaged persons when installing passenger ship evacuation system. Therefore, it is necessary to consider installing MES additionally to make it easier, quicker and safer to escape the ship and to ensure the safety of everyone on board.
