노지연,이석호,오동선,박혁렬,김영산 木浦大學校基礎科學硏究所 1997 基礎科學硏究誌 Vol.15 No.-
Hydrogenated amorphous carbon(a-C:H) films were prepared by PECVD(Plasma enhanced-chemical vapor deposition) method. The films were characterized using various spectroscopic measurements such as Raman scattering, FTIR(Fourier transform infrared) absorption spectroscopy. FRIR absorption reflects only the optically active hydrogen in the a-C:H and, using it together with Raman spectroscopy. The spectral analysis indicated that changes in Raman spectroscopy intensity occurring with increasing substrate temperature 50℃~300℃ were determined to be caused by changes in optically resonant components in the films. Furthermore, a significant correlation was the two crystalline forms of carbon-graphite and -diamond consist of sp² and sp³ bonds, respectively. Significant changes in chemical bonding(sp²/sp³) and micro-structure of hydrogenated amorphous carbon thin films occur as the substrate temperature varies from 50 to 300℃ during.

No effective antiviral therapy is proven yet, but clinical use of ribavirin (RBV) has been tried. We investigated the antiviral effect of RBV against SFTSV in vitro. Methods: To test for cytotoxicity of RBV, Vero cells were treated with different concentrations of RBV (3.90 to 500 μg/mL, two-fold dilution) and analyzed by cell viability MTS assay 48h post-infection. To determine antiviral activity of RBV against SFTSV, Vero cells were infected with SFTSV strain Gangwon/Korea/2012 at 100 TCID50 (50% tissue culture infective dose) per well in a 96-well plate, and RBV was added at the concentrations showing no or minimal cytotoxicity. Viral RNAs were extracted from the culture supernatants and quantifi ed using one-step real-time reverse transcription- PCR to amplify the partial large segment of SFTSV. Statistical analysis was done by one-way ANOVA with Tukey`s post hoc test. Results: Cytotoxicity due to RBV was not observed at RBV concentration =31.3 μg/ mL. Viral RNAs at 24h post-RBV treatment were reduced with increasing RBV concentrations (1-32 μg/mL), compared with those of mock-treated cells (P <0.01, Figure). Half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of RBV was 3.69 μg/mL at 24h post-RBV treatment. Conclusions: Our study shows that RBV has antiviral effect against SFTSV in a dose-dependent manner. Further studies are required to evaluate the effi cacy of RBV in SFTS.

Curcumin (diferuloylmethane), a constituent of turmeric powder derived from the rhizome of Curcuma longa, has been shown to inhibit the growth of various types of cancer cells by regulating cell proliferation and apoptosis. However, a need exists to design more effective analogs because of curcumin's poor intestinal absorption. EF-24 (diphenyl difluoroketone), the monoketone analog of curcumin, has shown good efficacy in anticancer screens. However, the effects of curcumin and EF-24 on salivary gland epidermoid carcinoma cells are not clearly established. The main goal of this study was to investigate the effects of curcumin and EF-24 on cell growth and induction of apoptosis in human salivary gland epidermoid carcinoma cells. Our studies showed that curcumin and EF-24 inhibited the growth of HTB-41 cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner, and the potency of EF-24 was > 34-fold that of curcumin. Treatment with curcumin or EF-24 resulted in nuclear condensation and fragmentation in HTB-41 cells, whereas the control HTB-41 cell nuclei retained their normal regular and oval shape. Curcumin and EF-24 promoted proteolytic cleavages of procaspase-3/-7/-9, resulting in an increase in the amount of cleaved caspase-3/-7/-9 in the HTB-41 cells. Caspase-3 and -7 activities were detected in viable HTB-41 cells treated with curcumin or EF-24. These results suggest that the curcumin and EF-24 inhibit cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in HTB-41 human salivary gland epidermoid carcinoma cells, and that they may have potential properties as an anti-cancer drug therapy.

( Ji Sun Park ),( Kyoung-hee Han ),( Gi Soon Park ),( Ji Young Lee ),( San-hui Lee ) 대한산부인과학회 2019 대한산부인과학회 학술대회 Vol.105 No.-
Background: Although laparoscopic surgery has multiple superiority to laparotomy, upper abdominal pain and shoulder pain has newly developed after performing laparoscopy. To control the respiratory variance occurred by pneumoperitoneum effectively during laparoscopy, traditionally general anesthesia was performed. However, general anesthesia has several disadvantages; damage on airway due to intubation, postoperative nausea/vomiting (PONV), slow recovery compared to spinal anesthesia. Several previous studies proved the safety and usefulness of spinal anesthesia in laparoscopic cholecystectomy. As previous studies are limited to the general surgery field and research on the gynecological field is lacking. Methods: This study was conducted at Wonju Severance Christian Hospital from September 2018 to May 2019. Total 11 patients were enrolled prospectively and underwent SPA laparoscopic adnexal surgery under spinal anesthesia. The intensity of postoperative pain by visual analogue scale score (VAS) and the intensity of PONV by emesis score (0-3) at 0, 2, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours after surgery was checked. Results: No case was converted to general anesthesia. The median long axis of ovarian cyst was 5cm (range, 3-7cm), and median total operation time was 38 minutes (range, 22-54min). 4 patients showed hypotension during operation, but all patients were well controlled with ephedrine 40mg intravenous injection. No patients complained pain nor nausea during operation. Postoperative pain checked 0, 2, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours after operation was 0(0), 3(2.5), 4.2(3.0), 3.1(2.9), 2.5(1.9), 1.7(2.2), and emesis score checked 0, 2, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours after operation was 0.1(0.3), 0(0), 0.2(0.6), 0(0), 0(0), 0.3(0.9). No postoperative complication was noted. Conclusions: Performing SPA laparoscopic adnexal surgery under spinal anesthesia is feasible. We are performing prospective study comparing spinal anesthesia and general anesthesia for SPA laparoscopic adnexal surgery.

Primary adenosquamous carcinoma of ovary is extremely rare malignancy. We report a case of primary adenosquamous carcinoma of the ovary which has not been reported in Korea before. The case of a 32 year old woman, evaluated for palpable abdominal mass is presented. Ultrasonography, abdomino-pelvic MRI, PET-CT were suggestive of a malignant neoplastic process. Surgical debulking operation including total abdominal hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection, para-aortic lymph node biopsy, total omentectomy, incidental appendectomy and low anterior resection of rectum were performed. Histopathology demonstrated primary adenosquamous carcinoma arising from the left ovary to the myometrium, serosa, rectal wall mass and omentum. The staging for ovarian tumor was consistent with FIGO stage IV. We present a case of this rare malignancy

Joong San Wang,Sang Min Lee,Ji Sung Kim,Hong Rae Kim,Si Eun Park,Joo Hyun Park,Ho Jung An,Ok Kon Moon,Soon Hee Kim 국제물리치료학회 2012 Journal of International Academy of Physical Ther Vol.3 No.1
This study was carried out to identify how a self-stretching exercise program affects pain for each body area, pain relief and job satisfaction for care workers. 20 of 40 care workers with musculoskeletal symptom were randomly selected and participated a self-stretching exercise program consisting of 15 motions. The intervention was done five times or more per weeks for 8 weeks and 1 session lasted within 15 minutes. 'Musculoskeletal symptom survey table' of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency(KOSHA) and JDI(Job Descriptive Index) was used for pain on the musculoskeletal symptom and job satisfaction. Survey were done twice before and after the program. The result of this study showed that self-stretching exercise program group(SSPG) relieved from pain significantly in the shoulders(p<.01) and lumbar(p<.05), comparing to the non selfstretching exercise program group(NSPG). Although no significant difference on variations in the JDI appeared in SSPG, the significant reduction appeared from the colleague relationship and organization in NSPG(p<.05). SSPG showed the significant increase on variations in JDI from the job and organization comparing to NSPG. Especially, the improvement on satisfaction for the organization was shown(p<.05). Accordingly, the self-stretching exercise program for care workers can be said to positively affect the overall pain relief and increase on the JDI.

<▼1>
Co-CUK-1 synthesized by a microwave method exhibits highly selective adsorption of p-xylene over other C8 aromatic hydrocarbons.
</▼1><▼2>
High quality crystalline Co-CUK-1 can be synthesized rapidly and efficiently by a microwave-assisted method. The resulting microporous coordination material is a highly effective adsorbent for the separation of xylene isomers and ethylbenzene, as demonstrated here through sorption isotherm analysis, Ideal Adsorbed Solution Theory (IAST) calculations, and grand canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) simulations. Co-CUK-1 showed high sorption capacity and high adsorption selectivity for p-xylene over the corresponding m- and o-isomers, and ethylbenzenes. According to the data obtained from IAST and GCMC simulations, the Co-CUK-1 is found to strongly favour p-xylene adsorption because p-xylene molecules undergo well-defined molecular packing in the 1-D channels; by comparison, the packing efficiencies of o-xylene, m-xylene and ethylbenzene are significantly lower, as is evidenced by lower saturation capacities.
</▼2>
