The purpose of this study was to evaluate a structural equation model in which Asian international students’ Internal Resources, as measured by self-efficacy, resilience, and help-seeking attitudes, predict their Mental Health, as measured by depression and anxiety, through Adjustment, as measured by five dimensions: personal-emotional adjustment, social adjustment, academic motivation, academic environment, and institutional attachment. The sample included 134 Asian international students in the U.S. higher educational institutions. The final model, with help-seeking attitudes removed due to its low factor loading in the measurement model, rendered an acceptable fit to the data, and Internal Resources significantly predicted Adjustment, which in turn significantly and negatively predicted Mental Health. The indirect effect from Internal Resources to Mental Health through Adjustment was found statistically significant as well, confirming the mediation effect of Adjustment on the relationship between Internal Resources and Mental Health. Implications and future research directions are discussed.

The purpose of this study is to develop a physical activity program for problem drinkers living in side rooms(Jjok-bang) based on the health belief model. In order to develop a physical activity program suitable for and applicable to the characteristics of the problem drinkers, the detailed components of the health belief model and the learning goals for each program were linked. It consists of a total of 10 activities, and in the introductory stage of each program, physical examination and gymnastics were conducted, and in the development stage, 10 physical activities were conducted to help the movement of large and small muscles and concentration. In the final stage of organizing, it consisted of time to express one's emotions through writing and painting and to reflect. The developed program was commissioned by an expert to derive the content validity coefficient (CVI=.75). Through the physical activity program developed in this study, it is believed that the problem drinking behavior of problem drinkers living in side rooms can be gradually reduced. The physical activity program developed in this study is expected to gradually reduce the problems of problem drinkers living in Jjock-bang. In the next step, we propose a study that quantitatively and qualitatively analyzes the intervention effect by applying this program to clients.

We investigate the hydrogen storage capacity of the light transition metal (TM)-decorated metal organic frameworks (MOFs) by performing ab initio density functional theory calculations. We ¯nd that among all the light TM elements, divalent Ti and Fe are suitable for decorating MOFs to enhance the hydrogen uptake, considering the H2 binding energy on the TM atom and the reversibly usable number of H2 molecules attached to the metal site. In general, the magnetization of metal atoms undergoes a high-spin to low-spin state transition when H2molecules are adsorbed, which helps to stabilize the system energetically. By analyzing the projected density of states on each TM atom, it is shown that the d-level shift induced by the ligand ¯eld of the adsorbed H2 molecules contributes substantially to the H2 binding strength. We also study the stability of selected TM-decorated nanostructures against the attack of foreign molecules by examining the energetics of those contaminating molecules around the metal sites.
DPDP: 방향성 안테나를 수용하는 애드 혹 네트워크를 위한 브로드캐스트 노드 선정 기법

애드 혹 네트워크에 있어서 브로드캐스팅을 실현 시 전달 메시지가 과중하게 중복 발생하는 것을 줄이기 위해 메시지를 수신하고 전달하는 역할을 맡는 전달 노드들을 in-fly 형태로 지정하도록 하는 기법 중 가장 실용적인 것으로는 PDP(Partial Dominant Pruning) 기법을 들 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 PDP를 확장하여 방향성 안테나를 이용하는 애드 혹 네트워크에 있어서 전달 노드들의 수는 물론, 이때 수반되는 안테나 요소 수를 동시에 줄이도록 하는 확장된 DPDP (Directional PDP) 기법을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 사용 안테나 요소 수(K)가 증가함에 따라 선정되는 전달 노드의 수는 전 방향 안테나를 사용하는 경우에 비해 다소 증가하지만 평균 전달 비용과 노드별 메시지 중복 수신 수에서는 PDP 기법에 비해 우수함을 확인하였다.
물리교육과 신임교수의 교사교육자로서 역할에 관한 셀프스터디

본 연구는 사범대학 물리교육과 신임교수인 물리학자가 교사교육자로서 역할을 구체화하는 과정에 관한 셀프스터디이다. 사범대학의 교사양성 교육과정은 이에 대한 경험이 전무한 ‘나’에게 낯설었고, 처음 하게 되는 물리학 강의는 물리학 연구자로서 내가 가진 경험을 바탕으로 준비하였다. 한편, 임용 직후부터 교사교육자로서 막연히 예비교사들에게 좋은 롤 모델이 되고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 낯섦은 나와 전공과목 강의자로서 나, 교사교육자로서 나의 역할을 분명하게 하는 중요한 출발점이었다. 낯선 환경은 내가 교사교육과정을 비판적으로 보고 이를 개선하는 방향을 모색하게 했으며, 내가 나와 학생들을 깊이있게 이해하고자 노력하게 하는 계기를 주었다. 이를 통해 나의 학생인 예비교사들에 대한 이해가 분명해지면서 스스로 정한 교사교육자로서의 역할도 구체화되었다. This is a self-study on specifying the role of a teacher educator who was a junior faculty in a department of physics education at the college of education. I was unfamiliar with the curriculum for physics preservice teachers owing to having no prior relevant experience. I prepared my first physics lecture at the university based on my experience as a physics researcher. Meanwhile, as a teacher educator, I wanted to be a good role model for the preservice teachers. In this study, the unfamiliarity became an critical starting point for me to clarify my role as a physics major lecturer and as a teacher educator. The unfamiliar environment allowed me to critically evaluate the curriculum of the department of physics education and explore different ways to improve it. Additionally, it has provided me the opportunity to understand myself as well as my students in depth. This made my understanding of students as a preservice teacher clear, thus allowing me to embody the self-appointed role of a teacher educator.

Recently, Concerns of imbalance for power supply has been raised by the increase of electric power consumption, but the interest of electric safety is still lacking due to the incompleteness of regulations. Particularly, Arcing fault, direct cause of electric fire accidents, is difficult to detect, interrupt due to unformal signal behaviour in previous research and apply to real system. In this paper, Arcing fault simulator device was fabricated to investigate the characteristics of series arcing fault and simulated the faults in various real load. Also, this study are analysed arcing fault signal by using the harmonic analysis of the acquired data from the current of the power supply and proposed the methods to prevent the series arcing fault accidents in advance.
