      • Dietary Guidelines and Designer Food Concept in Animal Agriculture

        The rapid decline in per capita consumption of animal products over the past 30 years is one of the most challenging problems the animal industry is facing today. The relatively high cholesterol and saturated fat contents is undoubtedly one of the major contributing factors. Various attempts to reduce the cholesterol content or produce cholesterol-free products have met with no success. The option to produce cholesterol-free animal products seems limited, but it is possible to alter the lipid composition of meats and eggs in such a way as to make the altered fatty acid composition more favorable for consumers. We have been interested in modifying the fatty acid composition of animal tissues and developing "designer foods" with respect to modem human dietary recommendations. Most recent research has led to a newly developed egg product called Dr. Sim's Canadian Designer Eggs?? in the market place. Manipulation of the lipid composition of eggs and meats have been extensively explored, together with investigations into underlining metabolic functions, cardiovascular and brain lipid metabolism in animals and humans. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the far-reaching nutrition and health implication of dietary fats and fatty acid-modified animal products, and to present the "designer food concept" strategy in animal agriculture.

      • 만인산의 식물상에 관한 연구

        만인산은 해발 537m로 북위 127°26′30″∼127°27′40″, 동경 36°11′30″∼36°12′30″에 위치하며, 행정구역상으로 대전광역시 동남쪽인 동구 하소동에 위치하고, 주변경계는 금산군 추부면과 복수면에 경계를 두고 있다. 본 지역은 한국전쟁 후 치산녹화사업으로 조림한 일본잎갈나무(낙엽송)가 주로 식재되어 있으며, 수령이 30∼40년생 이상이다. 수 년간 거의 훼손되지 않은 자연환경과 더불어 보존상태가 매우 양호한 자연생태계를 유지하고 있어 학술적 가치가 매우 높다고 판단되나, 아직까지 본 지역에 대한 식물목록조차 없는 상태이다. 유관속식물을 대상으로 1997년 8월부터 1999년 8월까지 채집조사한 결과 91과, 282속, 488종, 57변종, 7품종, 총 552분류군으로 나타났다. 한국특산식물은 10종, 1변종, 총11종류로 지역 내에 분포하는 관속식물의 1.9%로 나타났으며, 환경부지정 특정식물종은 27과, 30속, 41종, 3변종, 총 44종류가 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

      • 鷄足山의 植物相, 植生, 資源植物 및 綠地利用에 關한 硏究

        본 연구는 1995년 5월부터 1999년 10월까지 30회에 걸쳐서 계족산 일원의 식물상, 식생, 자원식물 및 녹지이용에 관하여 종합적인 학술조사를 실시하였다. 조사결과 계족산에 자생하고 있는 식물은 97과 292속 425종 1야종 57변종 10품종 1재배 등 494종류로 밝혀졌다. 유용식물로는 식용식물 225종, 약용식물 234종 관상식물 163종, 공업용 식물 76종, 염료식물 17종, 향신료 식물 8종, 밀원식물 11종, 사료식물 5종, 섬유식물 5종, 식재식물 62종, 한국특산식물 9종이었다. 본 지역은 개발제한지역과 상수도 보호지역으로 지정되어있으며 일부가 도시 자연공원지역으로 고시 되어있다. 본 지역은 임도 건술 후 약 30% 이상의 식물이 훼손되었다. 본교는 이 지역에 1,797,848㎡(약 543.939평)의 땅을 소유하고 있는 관계로 토지이용과 식물자원보호에 각별한 관심이 요구된다.

      • RF-MOSFET의 개선된 BSIM3 소신호 모델과 측정기반 파라미터 추출

        RF 영역에서 동작하는 초미세 MOSFET를 위한 새로운 소신호 모델과 파라미터 추출방법을 제안하였다. 이 모델은 BSIM3v3 코어에 기판 회로망 모델과 기생소자들이 추가된 매크로 모델로 구현되었다. 모델 파라미터들은 공통-소오스로 구성된 다양한 크기와 바이어스 조건하에서 nMOS 트랜지스터의 측정된 S-파라미터로부터 직접 추출되었다. 직접 파라미터 추출은 활성영역에서 동작하는 등가회로에서 Z와 Y 파라미터를 이용하여 임베이딩 기법으로 이루어 졌다. 0.5 GHz에서 20 GHz 범위까지 측정된 S-파라미터와 소신호 모델의 시뮬레이션 결과는 우수하게 일치하였다. A new small-signal model for deep submicrometre MOSFET for radio frequency operation and its parameter extraction method are proposed. The model is implemented as macromodel with substrate network model and parasitic elements added to the BSIM3v3 core. Model parameters are directly extracted from S-parameter data measured from common-source structured and various sized and biased MOS transistors . Direct parameter extraction is performed by embedding technique using Z and Y parameter analysis on the equivalent circuit in the saturation region of operation. Excellent agreement between the simulation results of the small-signal model and measured S-parameters at virious-sized MOS transistor in the range from 0.5 GHz to 20 GHz has been obtained.

        中風急性期에 活用되는 鎭肝熄風湯에 관한 臨床的 考察

        최근 식생활의 변화와 노년층의 증가 등으로 中風이 증가하고 있어 동서의학적인 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 中風은 本虛表實證으로 인식되고 主風說, 主氣說, 主火說, 主痰濕說 등이 있으나 葉天士가 內風說을 개창한 이래 肝腸上亢, 肝腎陰虛 등에 의한 肝風內動이 주병기로 인식되고 있으며 內風은 양기가 음혈의 억제를 받지 못하여 과항하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 張錫純의 鎭肝熄風湯이 본 肝風內動證에 많이 사용되고 있으며 본 병원에서도 임상에 사용되고 있는 바 구체적인 치료효과에 대해 알아보고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. We studied the meaning and use of the Jingansickphungtang, so we found the Jingansickphungtang is effective of preventing early cerebral stroke. We had prescirbed the abstract of the Jingansickphungtang in 24 early cerebral stroke patients for six days from May, 1997 to December, 1997 and the results was as follows. 1. We observed recovering rates after a week; headache 72.7%, dizziness 75%, chest discomfort 83.3%, red face 93.7%, yawning sign 100%; average recovering rates 84.1%. 2. We observed the states of consciousness after a week. There were increasing from 20 patients to 23 patients in Gr.1 and decreasing from 4 patients to 1 patient in Gr.2. 3. We observed the states of swallowing after a week. There were increasing from 16 patients to 19 patients in having general diet and decreasing from 6 patients to 5 patients in having soft diet and decreasing from 2 patients to 0 patient in having liquid diet. 4. We observed the states of aphasia after a week. There were incresing from 7 patients to 16 patients in Gr.5 and decreasing from 13 patients to 4 patients in Gr.4. 5. We observed the states of motor weakness after a week. Upper limbdegeneration; 0 patient, changelessness; 13 patients(54.1%), improvement; 11 patients(45.9%) Lower limbdegeneration; 0 patient, changelessness; 12 patients(50%), improvement; 12 patients(50%) As the results, the Jingansickphungtang have effects in preventing of the most serious neurological symptomsmental disorder, dysphasia, aphagia and hemiparesis in early cerebral stroke.

      • 메탄올 연료도입에 따른 배기성능의 개선에 관한 연구

        The result of this study on engine characteristic and exhaust characteristic in according to the variation of methanol-fuel introduction amounts with the two-systemic injection fuel supply method for exhanst performance improvement without the change of the conventional spark ignition engine are as follows. 1. The mass burned was to the fast combustion in according to increased methanol-fuel introduction amount, finally cycle miximum pressure on the increased. 2. Torque was being increased in according to increased mathanal fuel introduction amount, and this reason was that increase of volumetric efficiency in according to be increased in take air amount. A increasing rate of Torque of high percentage methanol(M-85) fuel is 8 Percent at equivalence ratio Φ=0.9 to Compared with M-O fuel. 3. Brake specific fuel consumption (B SFC) was increased in according to the increase of methanol-fuel intraduction amount, and the reason is that low heating value of methanol-fuel. 4. Nox generation was being decreased at methanol-fuel introduction amount was on the increased. The rate of Nox improvement of M-85 was 16 percent at Φ=0.9, compared with M-O fuel. 5. The generation of C0 was being very decreased in according to increased methanol-fuel introduction amount, and that of HC was being very increased.

        안식향산 함유 식품 섭취가 톨루엔 폭로 근로자들의 요중 마뇨산 농도에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed to investigate the effect of foods containing benzoic acid on the urinary hippuric acid concentration in the toluene exposed workers. The urinary hippuric acid concentration were measured at 0, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 minute after intake of soft drink and bread containing benzoic acid in volunteers, who did not have been exposed toluene occupationally. After that urinary hippuric acids were measured at the end of shift in toluene exposed workers. And also the concentration of toluene in air were analysed by gas chromatography. So the relationships between urinary hippuric acid concentration and age, work duration, concentration of toluene in air and intake of benzoic acid containing food were observed. The results were as follows: 1. The urinary hippuric acid concentration reached the highest level at 30 minute after intake of soft drink with bread at a level of 1.41g/g creatinine and soft drink alone at a level of 1.04g/g creatinine which contained benzoic acid among unexposed toluene, and then gradually decreased. 2. In toluene exposed group to significant effect of general characteristics such as gender, age, work duration, drinking and smoking on urinary hippuric acid concentration was showed in toluene exposed group. 3. The mean value of urinary hippuric acid concentration of group taking benzoic acid containing foods was significantly higher than that of group not taking. 4. Multiple regression analysis showed that toluene concentration in air and benzoic acid containing foods were together significantly influence on urinary hippuric acid concentration. And the function between variables is Y=0.014Toluene+0.489Benzoic acid+0.745 and the contribution rates were 31%. In conclusion, it was suggested that the information on intake of benzoic acid containing foods should be considered in measurement of urinary hippuric acid for the more accurate toluene exposure evaluation.

        The purpose of this paper is to prevent driver from accidents by effectively notifying the driver blind spot warning in a short distance such as a narrow alley when using a two-wheeled vehicle. It is easy to see that two-wheeled vehicles are more fatal in the event of an accident. We analyzed and researched a safety warning device in low-speed driving to identify critical factors for drivers in two-wheeled vehicle driving, and to identify areas that can be improved. Based on the analysis and research, an experiment was conducted and a warning system was applied to the manufactured motorcycle.
