완전 방실차단을 동반한 급성 심근염

급성 심근염환자에서 발행한 완전 방실차단을 영구 심장박동 조율기로 치료한 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Myocarditis, an inflammatory process involving the myocardal wall, may be caused by most infectious agents. Irrespective of its etiology, it presents commonly with evidence of heart failure, hypotension, and various electrocardiographic abnormalities. Patient with myocarditis may be asymptomatic or may have a rapidly progressive fatal disease. Medical management of patients with myocarditis includes specific therapy for underlying infection and control of the complication of myocarditis such as congestive heart failure and arrhythmia. Recently we had experienced myocarditis with complete atrioventricular block in 37-year-old man. Although he had shown complete recovery of heart failure, he had shown complete atrioventricular block, so we inserted permanent pacemaker. We report it with review of the literature.

CATV 망에서의 고속 DATA 서비스를 위한 적정 셀 규모에 관한 연구

Recently the surrounding of data communication industry has been changing through the rapid growth of the information technology, which has been sparked by the convergence of computer and optical fiber technology. This phenomenon requires broadband network to transmit video, audio and data at once. Multimedia and broadband services are provided widely over the Internet. The traditional telephone companies, CATV operators, and Internet service providers are all rushing to provide integrated services over their infra-structures. Among them, CATV seems to be the most promising from an economic perspective, because CATV infrastructure is already in place in a majority of homes and can deliver broadband service without requiring costly upgrade of the existing CATV systems. In this paper, analysis the problem of data services over CATV network, suggest size the proper cell for the high speed data services over CATV network.

수직축 블레이드를 적용한 소형 풍력발전시스템에 관한 연구

Need developments of substitute energy to solve problem of global warming by excess use of fossil energy, excess discharge of carbon dioxide. Wind Generation is all-important energy in next generation as clean energy. Environmental pollution of wind force development is not exhausted entirely. And, electric-power production unit cost is cheap than other energy. Wind Generation system that is supplied much present is most horizontality style blade structure. But, Horizontal style structure is serious noise and there is problem in stability of blade. We designed special blade aiming to this problem. And, manufactured vertical axis wind force development system because using blade. Also, developed assistance power generator to heighten driving efficiency ago wind generation. We expect this devices that is such cover shortcoming of wind force development.

거제지역 당뇨병 및 고혈압 환자의 복합질병 위험요인

The purpose of this study is to compare the correlation of clinical characteristics and patterns of disease. Subjects of the study were the adults(207) living in Geoje City, the diabetes mellitus and the hypertension patients(166) and the normal people(41). In the diabetes mellitus group and the hypertension group, blood pressure, blood glucose, total cholestero LDL-cholesterol and atherogenic index(AI) were significantly high. As the obesity index was getting higher, the blood pressure of the diabetes mellitus group was high, and the HDL-cholesterol of the hypertension group was low, but AI of it was significantly high. The AI was significantly high as serum lipid index were getting higher in both groups. The rate of the prevalence was very high in the diabetes mellitus group(74.3%) and the hypertension group(73.7%). The pattern in the diabetes mellitus group was in order of the hypertension, the hyperlipidemia, and the obesity but, in the hypertension group was the hyperlipidemia, and the obesity. The obesity index and serum lipid index of complex patient group were higher than single patient group.

QFT를 이용한 전력 계통 안정화 장치 설계

In this paper, QFT robust control strategy is proposed to improve stability of power systems in the presence of parametric uncertainty. The basic idea in QFT is to convert design specifications of a closed loop system and plant uncertainties into robust stability and performance bounds on the open loop transmission of the nominal system and then to design a controller by using the gain-phase loop shaping technique. The robustness of the QFT controller has been investigated on a single machine infinite bus model by nonlinear simulations.

폐염간균에 대한 Quinolone계 약제의 항균작용에 미치는 Rifampin의 영향

Antimicrobial activities of nalidixic acid(NA),norfloxacin(NX), oxolinic acid(OA), pefloxacin(PX), pipemidic acid(PA), oxacillin, cefotaxime(CFT), cephaloridine, cefazoline, moxalactam(MX), gentamicin, amikacin(AK) and rifampin(RP) were compared by the agar dilution method against 31 strains of K. pneumoniae isolated from various clinical spectimens. And then combined activities of RP with each of the quinolones (NA, MX, OAA, PX, and PA) against the test strains were measured by checkerboard dilution and time-killing methods. The growth inhibitory activities of PX, NX, OA, MX and AK were exellent, and those of PA, NA, RP and CFT were moderate, while the other's being almost negligible. The bactericidal activity of PX was more active than that of the other quinolones. Increasing concentrations of the quinolones resulted in a parallel increment of killing rate. However, when levels of quinolones were excessive beyond the most effective bactericidal ones, the bactericidal activity was decreased. In the combined growth inhigitory tests of RP with quinolones by checkerboard agar dilution method, synergistic and additive effects were rarely observed, and antagonism was noticed among the combinations in the following order: RP-NA, 22 strains (71%); RP-PA, 21 strains (67.7%); RP-OA, 17 strains (54.8%); RP-PX, 15 strains (48.4%) and RP-NA, 14 strains (45.2%). In the combined bactericidal tests measured by time-killing method, RP was found to reduce the activities of all five quinolones tested. And the gradual increasing of RP dose was revealed to reduce progressively the bactericidal action of the quinolones. But when RP was added to quinolones after 1 hour of incubations, the bactericidal activities were not affected.

불포화 폴리에스테르 수지의 물성이 폴리머 콘크리트의 강도에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 폴리머 콘크리트의 결합재인 불포화 폴리에스테르 수지(UPR)의 물리적 성질을 조사하였다. 그 결과는 비중 1.1 g/mL, 점도 3.0 poise, styrene의 함량은 40% 내외이고 산값은 약 20이었다. 본 실험에서 제조된 폴리머 콘크리트의 압축강도는 평균 1,056 Kg/cm², 휨강도는 216 Kg/cm², 인장강도는 110 Kg/cm²이었는데, 이는 시멘트 콘크리트에 비해 비교적 좋은 역학적 성질을 나타낸 것이다. 변동계수는 압축강도의 경우 약 3%, 휨강도의 경우 5%, 인장강도의 경우 6% 내외로서 매우 양호하다. 강도비를 산출하여 본 바 압축강도와 휨강도의 비가 4.9, 압축강도와 인장강도의 비가 9.7, 휨강도와 인장강도가 1.97로서 나타났는데 이는 폴리머 콘크리트의 압축강도는 1000 Kg/cm²를 상회함을 감안할 때 휨 및 인장강도가 상대적으로 큼을 보여주는 결과이다. In this study, effect on the strength of polymer concrete of unsaturated polyester Resin's(UPR) property was investigated. The physical property of UPR was as follows; density 1.1 g/mL, viscosity 3.0 poise, the content of styrene 40%, and acid value 20. The mechanical property of Polymer Concrete was relatively good; compressive strength 1,056 Kg/cm², flexural strength 216 Kg/cm², splitting tensile strength 110 Kg/cm², The coefficient of fluctuation was 3% of compressive strength, 5% of flexural strength, and 6% of splitting tensile strength. The ratios of respective strength were 4.9(compressive strength to splitting tensile strength), and 1.97(flexural strength to splitting strength). Therefore, flexural strength and splitting tensile strength of polymer concrete was relatively big under consideration of compressive strength(1,000 Kg/cm²).

림프구에 대한 clozapine의 생체내 유전독성

최근 난치성 정신분열증 환자에서 가장 효과적인 약으로 알려진 clozapine은 골수에 작용하여 심각한 부작용인 무과립 구증을 일으킬 수 있다. 무과립구증의 원인 및 기전에 대한 연구는 매우 많으나 현재까지 확실한 결론이 나지 않은 상태이다. 저자들은 clozapine의 이러한 골수 독성에 근거하여 clozapine이 인체내에서 염색체에 어떤 변화를 주는지 아닌지를 알아보기 위해 clozapine 단독치료를 시행한 환자에게서 치료전과 치료중에 얻어진 말초혈액 림프구를 배양하여 염색체에 어떤 변화가 생기는지를 조사하였으나, clozapine에 의한 염색체의 자발적인 변이는 관찰되지 않았다. Objective : Many drugs and environmental chemicals can induce aneuploidy or chromosome instability in vivo or in vitro. Modification of the fidelity of cellular division may occur via a variety of mechanisms and chemical interactions. The clozapine is new antipsychotic drug with superior effect than classic antipsychotics. But, it may produce agranulocytosis and seizure in some patients. Agranulocytosis is a serious side effect of this drug but the cause and mechanism of this side effect is not clearly explained. Some study suggested that oxidative stress can induce chromosome aberration and the other study suggested that clozapine produce free radical and it can induce oxidative stress on some kind of cells. Therefore we decided to investigate whether clozapine and its metabolites can induce genotoxic effect in vivo. Method : The patients were chronic schizophrenic patients without a treatment at least one year. Diagnosis was made by DSM-IV criteria and agreed by both of two psychiatrists. Blood sampling was done before the treatment and during the treatment with considerable time interval. We used peripheral blood lymphocyte culture method and we counted the numerical aberrations, sister chromatid exchanges. Results : Chromosome aberration was not detected in all samples. Conclusion : Clozapine did not induce spontaneous chromosome aberration to human lymphocytes in vivo.

간질환자의 정신병리와 생활사건 및 대처방식

The authors assessed the differences of psychopathology, life-event and coping strategies between 71 epileptic patients and 74 chronic ill patients. To Investigate the relationship between psychiatric symptoms, stresses and coping strategies in epileptic patients and controls, Scale of Symptom checklist-90-revision(SCL-90-R), Multidimentional Coping Scale(MCS) and Life-event(SLE) were applied to the patients. Collected data were processed with SPSS/PC ver employing Chi-square test, t-test and Pearson correlation analysis. Summary of the result were as follows : 1) Epileptic patients, compared with chronic ill controls, showed significant difference in the item of the paranoid ideation of the SCL-90-R and in the item of perseverance of the MCS. 2) Chronic ill controls, compared with epileptic patients, had significant correlation with SCL-90-R and life-event, and these findings suggest that Epileptic patients have blunted coping strategies due to chronic illness and early onset age. 3) Among epileptic patients, the ones with early onset(≤18-year-old) showed significantly high scores in the obsessive-compulsive, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, phobic anxiety, paranoid ideation, psychoticism, additional items of the SCL-90-R and attention shift to production, emotional support seeking, emotional expression, acceptance, emotional pacification, self-criticism, positive comparison, active coping of the MCS. 4) In coping strategies adopted by epileptic patient, the ones with long duration of illness(>5years) showed significant difference at the emotional support seeking, emotional pacification, acceptance, religious seeking, positive comparison of the MCS. The epileptic patients treated with polypharmacy showed significantly high scores in the somatization, obsessive-compulsive, phobic anxiety, paranoid ideation of the SCL-90-R. In conclusion, we suggest that epileptic patients have simillar psychopathology and coping strategies with chronic ill patients. The epileptic patients with early-onset had more potential psychopathology and passive coping strategy than late-onset patients.
