불교의 綠起論으로 본 서정주의 시

이 글에서는 서정주의 시 몇 편을 불교의 연기론으로 살펴보았다. 그가 신라를 동경한 것은 신라를 불교적 상상력이 구현된 세계로 보았기 때문이며, 이는 그를 훨씬 차원 높은 사유를 하도록 이끌었다. 영혼은 죽지 않고 새로운 육신을 얻어 윤회한다든가 영계의 귀신과 소통하고 꿈을 어떤 조짐으로 받아들이는 방식의 사유는 시공간의 확대를 가져오는 것이며, 현실의 자질구레한 일에 얽매여 아등바등한 삶에서 벗어날 수 있기 때문에 매우 긍정적이다. 그러나 그의 불교 이해는 영혼이 영원히 산다는 윤회 정도일 뿐이다. 인과응보와 같은 윤리성을 가르치는 인과율은 그의 시에서 보이지 않는다. 인과율이 빠진 시에서는 우연히 일어날 수 있는 일을 독자들에게 제시할 뿐이라 공감을 불러일으키지 못하고 있다. 인과율이 빠진 것을 인연이라고 제시한 것은 그의 시의 격조를 떨어뜨림은 물론이고, 그의 삶에서도 체념과 순응의 자세를 갖도록 했다고 볼 수 있다. 그의 삶에서 친일 행위를 하거나 독재에 협력한 아름답지 못한 점이 보이는 것도 전혀 이와 무관하다고 할 수는 없을 것이다. This paper examines a couple of poems by Seo Jeong-Ju in terms of Buddhist philosophy of Karma. What the poet longs for Silla derives from his vision of Silla as a world embodied by Buddhist imagination and, it seems to lead him to much higher level of thinking. The poet's way of thinking that he communicates with a ghost in the spiritual world and accepts dreams as a symptom brings the enlargement of poetic space and can be seen as the positive aspect of his poems in that the poet is beyond the hectic and trifling matters of everyday life. His understanding of Buddhism is, however, limited to the Buddhist philosophy of transmigration where a soul dwelling in a new body lasts forever. The ethical aspect of the causality such as a reward in accordance with a deed is hard to find in his poems. The poems lacking of the causality represent readers coincidental actions only thus does not appeal to them. The representation of affinity without the causality naturally degrades the style of his poems and furthermore contributes to his attitude of resignation and adaption in real life. We cannot deny the fact that his pro-Japanese activities during Japanese colonial rule and his conciliatory attitude towards military dictatorship is in a way related to the aforementioned.

Purpose : The purpose of the research is that get a cut above clinical practice effect through satisfaction of clinical training, practical training, content, oversight of training and evaluation system. Clinical training consists of part of university in Gwang Ju and Jeon nam. Method : The target of training student was studying at physiotherapy a tree or four-year-course collage in Gwang ju and Jean nam. Data collection period is from 21 November 2012 to 1 February. We explained how to do a means of collecting data and get students consent fill in questionnaire. Data collection prossed by using spss 10.1 program also independent proofs, descriptive statistics, crosstabulation, regression analysis and frequency analysis. Results : The subjects average age is 24 in general characteristic. A school system of subjects was a tree-year-course students. They were 58people(39.1%). A school system of subjects was a four-year-course students. They were 90people(60.9%).The male was 72(48.6%) and the female was 76(51.4%). We researched to know about satisfaction of clinical training, practical training, content, environment of practical establishment, trainee manage and evaluation method. All-round satisfaction of clinical training average was 1.90 Satisfaction of clinical training period and content average was 1.83Satisfaction of environment of practical establishment average was 1.88 Satisfaction of clinical training establishments` trainee manage and evaluation average was 1.94 Conclusion : It is important that student can get specific their future and can do at clinical throught clinical training after their graduation improving satisfaction of clinical training would give to impact a physical therapist reserve.

병원급식 체계에 관한 조사 연구

This study was conducted to evaluate the hospital foodservice management practices in Seoul and to suggest the guideline for the effective foodservice management. Questionnaire survey method were used in this study. Questionnaire were administered to dietitians in twenty hospitals. Data were analyzed for frequency, percentage, χ^(2)-test, and one-way ANOVA using SAS PC Package program. The results were summerized as follows : The number of dietition were less than the required number for efficient foodservice. Centralized foodservice method was adopted in most hospitals and conventional foodservice system was taken in all the hospitals. The space of a kitchen and a dining room were confined and sanitary facilities and working condition revealed problems. Equipped facilities in surveyed foodservice operations were assessed as the insufficient condition, especially, efficient facilities such as a cutting machine were scarecely make up.

Clybourne Park에 나타난 이웃과 사유재산권 문제

로레인 한즈베리의 『태양 아래 건포도』를 다시 상상한 브루스 노리스의 『클라이본 파크』에 나타난 신자유주의적인 입장, 즉 백인들은 자신들이 원하는 이웃을 가질 권리와 자신들의 주택 가격을 지킬 권리를 가지며 이 권리는 존중받아야 한다는 입장에 대해서 고찰해보고자 한다. 흑인인 영거 가족이 백인 동네인 교외주택가 클라이본 파크로 이사하려 할 때 백인 주민들의 입장을 대표한 칼 린드너의 주장을 역사적인 맥락에서 다른 인물들의 주장과 비교분석함으로써 사적 재산권과 이웃 그리고 도시재생과 인종이라는 문제에 녹아있는 사회적이고 경제적인 측면을 구체적으로 살펴본다. 우선 연극의 1막과 2막이 거울처럼 서로를 비추는 가운데 이렇게 비추지 못하는 것에 대해서 살펴보고 이어서 사적 재산권과 원하는 이웃을 가질 권리라는 문제를 영토보호 정당방위법에 대한 논의와 연결하여 논한다. 이어지는 장에서 사적 재산권과 부동산 가격 하락을 막을 권리에 대해 논의하면서 흑인이 이주하면 동네가 몰락한다는 편견과 흑인에게 새로운 주택공급이 정상적으로 이루어지지 않은 역사적인 맥락에 대해 살펴본다. 이러한 바탕 위에서 브루스노리스가 클라이본 파크를 교외 주택가가 아니라 도심인근 주택가처럼 다루는 오류를 저질렀다고 주장하고 이어서 백인 부부가 흑인 동네의 집을 재건축하려는 시도를 흑인 부부가 반대하는 것을 역 인종차별주의라고 판단하기 어렵다고 주장한다. This paper examines a neoliberal standpoint in Bruce Norris’s Clybourne Park, a re-imagination of Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun, from which he argues that white residents have the right to keep their own neighbors and their home prices as they want, and their rights should be respected. The arguments of Karl Lindner, who represents the white residents in Clybourne Park, a white suburban neighborhood, are compared with the claims of other characters in order to analyze the issues of private ownership, neighborhood, urban gentrification, and race in a historical and economic context. First, this paper investigates what is not clearly reflected on the mirror as the first and second acts of the play mirror each other, and then discuss the issue of private property rights in connection with discussions on the Stand Your Ground law. Second, this paper discusses the racial prejudice against African Americans’ move-in as the cause of the economic downfall of a suburban neighborhood. In addition, the historical context in which state-sponsored mortgage loans were scarcely provided to black citizens is examined. On this basis, it can be argued that Bruce Norris made an intentional mistake of treating Clybourne Park as an inner suburb near the city center rather than a suburban residential area. Finally, it can be concluded that to consider a black couple’s opposition to an attempt by a white couple to gentrify a black neighborhood as an example of reverse racism will result in obscuring the structural inequalities.

Elevated extracellular calcium ions promote proliferation and migration of mesenchymal stem cells via increasing osteopontin expression

<▼1><P>Supplementation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) at sites of bone resorption is required for bone homeostasis because of the non-proliferation and short lifespan properties of the osteoblasts. Calcium ions (Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>) are released from the bone surfaces during osteoclast-mediated bone resorption. However, how elevated extracellular Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> concentrations would alter MSCs behavior in the proximal sites of bone resorption is largely unknown. In this study, we investigated the effect of extracellular Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> on MSCs phenotype depending on Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> concentrations. We found that the elevated extracellular Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> promoted cell proliferation and matrix mineralization of MSCs. In addition, MSCs induced the expression and secretion of osteopontin (OPN), which enhanced MSCs migration under the elevated extracellular Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> conditions. We developed in vitro osteoclast-mediated bone resorption conditions using mouse calvaria bone slices and demonstrated Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> is released from bone resorption surfaces. We also showed that the MSCs phenotype, including cell proliferation and migration, changed when the cells were treated with a bone resorption-conditioned medium. These findings suggest that the dynamic changes in Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> concentrations in the microenvironments of bone remodeling surfaces modulate MSCs phenotype and thereby contribute to bone regeneration.</P></▼1><▼2><P><B>Bone formation: released calcium could stimulate stem cells</B></P><P>Studies with mouse cells and bone samples indicate how calcium ions released during the normal turnover of bone promote the supplementation of stem cells needed to make new bone during routine “remodeling” and regeneration after injury. Our bones are degraded and remodeled continuously, requiring the controlled supplement of stem cells that create bone-forming cells called osteoblasts. Jeong-Tae Koh and colleagues at Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea, exposed the relevant stem cells to increased concentrations of external calcium ions. This promoted cell proliferation and migration that allow the cells to support new bone formation. The research suggests this effect on stem cells may be achieved by calcium ions released directly from bone as it is naturally degraded. The findings may help researchers develop new ways to encourage bone regeneration after injury and surgery.</P></▼2>

한국적 모더니티와 ‘추방자들’의 세대론적 특성 : 윤대녕의 『피에로들의 집』에 나타난 유사 가족의 세대현상을 중심으로

본고는 윤대녕의 『피에로들의 집』에서 형상화된 한국적 모더니티에 따른 추방자들의 상황성을 세대론적 맥락에서 유형화하고, 이를 통해 집과 가족의 의미와 더 나아가 새로운 방식의 연대 가능성에 대해 고찰하는 데 목적이 있다. 오늘날의 도시 공간의 추방자들은 우리의 현실 전체를 강제하고 있는 도시 생태계의 규율방식이 만들어낸 일종의 잉여적 주체라는 데 핵심이 있다. 이 작품의 추방자들은 세대론적으로 비동시적인 것의 동시적 공존이라고 할 수 있을 만큼의 중층적 양상을 드러내며, 복잡다기한 도시 생태계의 정치·사회·역사적 맥락과 구체적으로 연결된다는 점이 그 특징이다. 이 작품에서 대안 가족으로 구성된 아몬드나무 하우스에는, 회상의 형태로 제시되는 한국전쟁 세대(마마 父)를 비롯하여 유신세대(마마)-신세대(명우, 현주, 윤정)-밀레니엄 세대(윤태, 정민)가 혼거하고 있는데, 이는 한국 사회의 세대현상과 갈등의 원인, 그리고 그 화해를 모색하기 위한 창작 의도로 파악하였다. 이처럼 마마를 중심으로 한 추방자들의 개인사와 현재적 상황은 한국적 모더니티의 세대론적 지형도를 유감없이 압축하고 있다. 이 속에서 구체적으로 서로를 매개하며 상징적 고리를 형성하는 상관물은 바로 ‘음식’과 ‘집’이다. 전자는 식구(食口)라는 입들의 공동체를 형성하게 하는 매개가 되고, 후자는 추방자들에게 원초적 안도감을 회복시키는 대체 공간으로 기능한다. 작품의 대미를 장식하는 여행에서, 화자는 그 여로가 지난 겨울 윤정이 여행했던 경로임을 뒤미쳐 깨닫는다. 그는 부전으로 가는 열차 안에서 잊고 싶었던 과거의 순간들을 떠올리고, “모든 것을 잃었다고 생각할 때마다 그것의 일부라도 되찾을 수 있는 방법은 언제나 글을 쓰는 것”이라는 점을 상기하며 껴져가는 글쓰기에 대한 욕망의 불씨를 다시금 되살린다. 그것은 곧 타자성의 인식, 관계성의 복원, 그리고 글쓰기에 대한 믿음을 회복하는 신생에의 희원이라고 할 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to classify the situation of outcasts caused by Korean modernity shaped in Yun, Dae-nyeong’s novel The Piero’s House by generational context, furthermore to examine the meaning of home and family and the possibility of new ways of solidarity. The outcasts of today’s urban space are at the core of being a sort of surplus subject created by the discipline of the urban ecosystem that forces the whole of our reality. The outcasts in this work are characterized by the simultaneous coexistence of asynchronous things, revealing the layered aspect of them, and being specifically linked to the political, social and historical contexts of complex urban ecosystems. At ‘almond tree house’ consisting of quasi-family, Korean War generation presented in the form of recall(mama’s father)-Yusin generation(mama)-New generation(myeong-woo, hyeon-ju, yun-jeong)-Millenium generation(yun-tae, jeong-min) are living together, and this has been understood as the generation phenomenon of Korean modernity, the cause of the conflict, and the creative intention to search for the reconciliation. As such, the personal history and current situation of outcasts, centering on the Mama, are uncompromisingly compressing the generational topography of korean modernity. Here, the correlations that specifically form the symbolic link between the two are ‘food’ and ‘house’. The former serves as a means of forming a family of mouths, and the latter serves as an alternative space to restoring the original relief to outcasts. In the journey to decorate the end of the work, the speaker realizes that his journey is the route Yun, Jeong traveled last winter. He remembers the past moments of wanting to forget in a train to Bujeon and remembers that “every time I think of losing everything, the way to get it back is always to write,” the desire for writing Revive the fire again. It can be said that it is the pleasure to the new birth which restores the belief in the recognition of the otherness, the restoration of relations and the writing.

뇌하수체 종양 제거술 시행 후 뒤늦게 발생한 횡문근 융해증과 동반된 중추성 열

Body temperature is controlled by thermoregulatory center of the hypothalamus. We report a case of 24 years old man with central fever. He was subjected to a partial excision of pituitary tumor compressing optic chiasm four years ago. He has received hormonal therapy for panhypothyroidism after removal of pituitary tumor. And He received gamma knife operation for partially contrast-enhancing masses in suprasellar and both hypothalamic areas that is probably postoperatively remnant or recurrent tumor of pituitary adenoma. One year after gamma knife operation, he presented with a febrile syndrome of unknown origin including rhabdomyolysis. All usual investigations proved negative. We diagnosed him as central fever with rhabdomyolysis. He received medical ICU care with cooling bed, ice pack. And his symptom improved. Postoperative hyperthermia may result following resection of the pituitary tumor. When central fever is suspected taking note of past history, a quick recognition of course of fever can help reduce the using of unnecessary antibiotics and hospital stay.

Carnosine Promotes Exhaustive Swimming Capacity in Mice

To investigate the effect of carnosine on exhaustive exercise, swimming tests were conducted weekly with loads corresponding to 5% of body weight attached to the tails of mice, and the swimming time to exhaustion was measured. Eighty male ICR mice were divided into four groups, to which carnosine was administered at doses of 0 (control), 10, 50, and 250 mg/kg/day, respectively, for a period of four weeks. At the end of swimming exercise challenges, serum biochemistry, oxidative stress enzyme activity, and antioxidant enzyme activity in tissues were determined. Treatment with 250 mg/kg carnosine resulted in a significant increase in swimming times to exhaustion, compared to the control group in the first (P<0.01) and third week (P<0.05). Significantly lower serum lactate levels were observed after the swimming exercise in the carnosine-treated groups (10 and 250 mg/kg), compared with the control (P<0.01). Malondialdehyde levels in the liver (10 and 50 mg/kg carnosine treated groups) and skeletal muscle (250 mg/kg carnosine treated group) were significantly lower, compared with the control (P<0.05). Significantly lower protein carbonyl levels in skeletal muscle were observed in the 50 and 250 mg/kg carnosine treated groups, compared with the control (P<0.01). Superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase activities in skeletal muscle did not differ significantly among the groups. These results indicate that carnosine may improve swimming exercise capacity by attenuating production of lactate and reducing oxidative stress in mice.
