        This is the study about the right of publicity that is the right of an individual to protect his or her name, likeness, image, signature, photograph, voice and other distinctive characteristics from non-authorized commercial use by others. In United Stares, this right was developed as a concept of the right of property differ from privacy already in the 1950s. Recently in Korean situation, by the reason of radical development of popular entertainment, professional sports and advertising industry, there is many numbers of case that use of a name or likeness of famous person for advertisement, so then began to discuss about this right with many quarrels that one is stolen one's value of property by others with no permission. Correct understanding and responding of the right of publicity is very important by the meaning of cultural and legislative, that is the reason why I make a point of explaining about the concept and legal character and the subject of protection and transferability etcetera. Especially in the problem of assignability as a legal character of this right, there is a limitation of assignment or license for the two nature of personality and property.

        This is the study about the right of publicity that is the right of commercial appropriation of the value of properties of one's name or likeness of famous person (especially in the case of actors and professional sports players etc.). In United States, this right was developed as a concept of the right of property differ from privacy already in the 1950s. Recently in Korean situation, by the reason of radical development of popular entertainment, professional sports and advertising industr, there is many numbers of case that use of a name or likeness of famous person for advertisement, so then began to discuss about this right with many quarrels that one is stolen one's value of property by other with no permission. Correct understanding and responding of the right of publicity is very important by the meaning of cultural and legislative, that is the reason why I make a point of explaining about the concept and legal character in preference. Especially in the problem of transferability as a legal character of this right, there is a limitation of transfer or inheritance irresistibly for the two nature of personality and property.

      • 설계강우량과 설계강우강도 결정을 위한 수문해석기법

        This paper presents a hydrologic analysis procedure for determining the design rainfall and rainfall intensity in the Asan National industrial district. The rainfall data is a basic component for selecting the probability flood to design hydraulic structures. Thus it is very important to select an appropriate probability distribution for rainfall data. In this study Log-normal, Gumble, Log-Pearson TypeⅢ and IWIA distribution are estimated for rainfall data of 27 years with four different duration based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test at Suwon station. As results, the rainfall data is fitted t the IWIA distribution and the design rainfall intensities are estimated by the linear regression method based on the design rainfall depth produced by IWIA.

      • 6 週齡과 8 週齡 間 Broiler의 遺傳相關에 關한 硏究

        本 試驗은 Broiler병아리의 6 週齡과 8 週齡에서 調査한 生體重, 屠體重, 腹脂肪重을 資料로 週齡間 有意差를 알아보고 遺傳相關의 程度를 測定해 냄으로써 早期選拔의 可能性을 타진하기 위한 것이었다. 그 結果는 다음과 같았다. 1. 各 形質에 對한 週齡別 測定値 平均이 生체重 1465, 2372g: 屠體重952, 1820g: 腹腔脂肪重0.65, 63.7g:生體重에 대한 腹脂重% 2.09, 2.69:屠體重에 대한 脂脂重% 3.35,3.62로서 生體重, 屠體重, 그리고 腹脂重等은 높은 有意差를 보였다. 2. 週齡間 遺傳相關은 生體重에 0.75, 屠體重 0.66, 腹脂重 0.45, 生體重에 對한 腹脂重% 0.41이었다. 以上의 測定値로 보아 6週齡 Broiler병아리에 對한 資料는 8週齡 生體重을 改良하기 爲한 育種 計劃에 利用할 수 있을 것으로 思料된다. The genetic relatilnship beween traits in broiler chickens at 6 and 8 weeks of age was determined. One-hundred male broiler chickens from 20 sires and 100 dams with 2 full sibs/dam were slaughttered at 42 and 56 days of age. One offspring per dam was slaughtered at each age. Means of 42day-old chickens are presented first and 55-day-old chickens second:Live weights 1465,2372g:Carcass weights 952, 1820g:abdominal fat weights 30.65,63.7g:percent abdominal fat/live weight 2.09, 2.69:percent abdominal fat/carcass weight 3.35, 3.62. The means were different (p<0.01) between weeks for live weight, and abdominal fat weight. Genetic correlations betweed weeks were 0.57 (live weight), 0.66(carcass weight), 0.45(abdominal fat weight), 0.43(% abdominal fat/live weight), and 0.41(%abdominal fat/carcass weight). Records obtained on 6-week-old full sibs might be useful in a selection program to improve traits in 8-weeks-old broiler chickens.

        마그네슘 풍부 해양미네랄 용액이 hairless 마우스의 아토피성 피부염에 미치는 영향

        Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronically relapsing inflammatory skin disease that often has asthma and allergic rhinitis. Magnesium salts, the important component of minerals in Dead Sea water, are known to exhibit beneficial effects in inflammatory disease. Favorable effects of magnesium ions and sea water treated to the skin of patients with contact dermatitis have been reported. But histological and immunological investigations are insufficient. This study was performed to examine the inhibitory effect of magnesium-rich sea mineral water on the development of AD-like skin lesions in hairless mice. AD-like skin lesions are induced by the repeated application of 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB). Local application of magnesium-rich sea mineral water on hairless mice skin applied with DNCB inhibited the development of AD-like skin lesions as exemplified by a significant increase in skin hydration (p<0.01), and a decrease in epidermal water loss (p<0.01). Serum IgE level was also significantly decreased (p<0.01). These results suggest that magnesiumrich sea mineral water inhibits the development of DNCB-induced AD-like skin lesions in hairless mice. These observations indicate that magnesium-rich sea mineral water may be alternative and assistant substances for the management of AD. 아토피성 피부염은 주로 천식과 비염 등을 동반하는, 주위에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 만성 염증성 피부질환으로 유전학적, 환경적, 면역학적 요인이 복잡하게 연관되어 발병한다. 해수에 포함된 마그네슘염은 피부에 작용하여 피부장벽을 보호하는 것으로 알려지고 그에 대한 면역학적인 연구와 조직학적 연구는 아직 부족한 실정이다. 이번 연구에서는 피부염을 인위적으로 일으키는 hapten 형성물질인 DNCB를 hairless mice에 도포하여 아토피 피부염 동물 모델로 만든 후, 마그네슘이 다량 함유된 해양 미네랄수를 처리한 후 피부장벽에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. DNCB로 피부염을 유발한 hairless mice에 해양미네랄수를 국소적으로 도포하였을 때 유의한 피부수분함량이 증가와 경피수분손실의 감소를 확인하였다 (p<0.01). 피부측정에서 피부거칠기(skin roughness, p<0.05)와 스케일생성 (skin scaliness, p<0.01)은 실험군에서 유의한 개선효과를 나타내었으며 조직학적 검사에서도 피부손상지수의 유의한 감소 (p<0.01)와 비만세포와 (p<0.01) 호산구의 감소(p<0.05) 소견을 보였고 또한 혈청 IgE의 감소를 관찰할 수 있었다(p<0.01). 이상과 같이 마그네슘이 다량 함유된 해양 미네랄수 도포는 피부장벽의 손상을 줄이고 피부수분손실을 효과적으로 줄임으로 아토피성 피부염 증상 유발을 억제할수 있음을 확인하였다. 현재까지 아토피성 피부염의 관리를 위하여 세라마이드나 식물성 오일의 보습제가 주로 활용되고 있는 상황에서 부가적인 피부장벽의 보호를 위하여 탈염 해양 미네랄수의 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단되며 장기적으로 아토피 피부염치료의 대체, 혹은 보조적 물질로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        The Clarify the distinction of the community structure of the sea birds at Shin Hung fish farm made by sea level and Yong Su reservoir surface level, I investigated above -mentioned thing from January 1987 to December 1987 and have gotten a result like below matters. 1. The sea birds observed at Shin Hung fish farm were 53 species and 1,327 individuals, 45 species, 8,569 individuals at Yong Su reservoir and common species of the two census areas were 34 species. 2. Monthly species number in two areas were there a great deal in May, also passage migrant consisted of various community by visiting in this time. 3. Individual number was the highest in January and February, winter visitor visited in September, October, went in February, April. 4. The most dominant species of two census areas was Anus poecilorhynchu, the following birds were Anus platyrhynchols, Anas cyecca in rwo. 5. Diversity of two census areas was the highest in May, community structure was various and complicated at this time.

        Trinitrophenyl Cellulose의 조제

        Two types of modified celluloses which contain trinitrophenyl groups as chromophore were synthesized from carboxymethyl cellulose Whatman CM 70 and CM 32. Diaminoethyl groups were added to the CM 70 and CM 32 to make DAE-CM celluloses and then the DAE-CM groups were substituted by 2,4,6-trinitrophenyl groups to produce TNP-celluloses. Average particle size of the TNP-cellulose from CM 32 was 44.6 ±9.6 μm in diameter and 127.9±22.5 μm in length, which was much smaller than those from CM 70, however its TNP-moiety per gram determined by using the molar extinction coefficient 1.33×10^4 of ε-TNP-lysine at 345 nm, was 0.68 millimoles, which was 5.6-fold greater than those from CM 70. The absorption spectrum of TNP-oligosaccharides which were the soluble products of TNP-celluloses by a cellulase preparation Onozuka R-10, showed a maximal peak at 344 nm. Increases in the absorbance during hydrolysis were linear with the enzyme concentration, and the differences of slope values between two types of TNP-celluloses that the more semsitive assay could be achieved by using those from CM 32 as substrate at the low range of the enzyme concentration.

      • 만곡하천의 흐름특성에 관한 실험적 연구

        The obejective of this experimental study in fixed bed model is to provide effective data that find out maxium velocity from the mean velocity and water surface level with the radius of curvature in curved channel, for the purpose of improvement stream with theoretical formula. The flow in meandering channel has a great dangerous problum on curved bank revetment in river morphology at saturated season. In order to study for the solusion of these problems, compared with the result of hydraulic experiment and numerical analysis. RMA-2 program is more accurate than HEC-2 for an analysis of the stream in curved channel. Cofficient of streaming skewness is fond out 1.5 aduptable to calculate maximum velocity within one-third from centre line of top wide water surface.
