        Background: Recently social requirement for collaborated treatment of medical practice with oriental medicine has been increasing. This study is designed to provide the guidance of role of family medicine physician in oriental medicine hospital to help the establishment of interdepartmental cooperation between western and oriental medicines. Methods: Medical records of a total 973 patients administered in Chonju Oriental Medical Hospital of Wonkwang University from January Ito June 30 were reviewed. Data including sex, age distribution, periods of administration, past history, major clinical manifestations, diagnosis, laboratory tests, medications were collected and expressed as a percentage. The classification of Diseases was made according to ICPC. Results: Of 973 patients, sex ratio was 1:1.4 with female predominance and age distribution was highest in fifties and sixties (48%). Past history was dominated in cardiovascular disease (30.1%), postoperative sequele (16.4%) and diabetes (12.2%). Chief complains were ordered in frequency as arthralgia and myalgia (42%), hemiplegia (26%), dysphagia (17%), headache (13.8%), dizziness and vertigo (11.5%). Major diagnoses were cerebrosclerosis (39.7%), HNP (21.4%), cerebral hemorrage (11.2%) and arthritis (8.79%). Diseases of the administered patients were classified as cardiovascular (50.8%), musculoskeletal (31.8%), gastrointestinal (6.2%) and nervous systems. Conclusion: The main categories of the patients who were aided by family medicine physician in oriental medicine hospital were chronic debilitating diseases including cardiovascular disease and diabetes. To establish an effective collaboration of family medicine physicians in oriental medicine hospital, the doctors needed expert skills for treatment of supportive cares of chronic degenerative diseases and their complications.

        ERP 도입이 기업의 생산성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        This paper examined the effect of the ERP introduction on the productivity of firms. This paper finds out the differences of the effect on the productivity of ERP introduction by organization characteristics, and suggests some guidelines of S/W development to vendors. The results would be strong implications for ERP vendors. Especially this paper identifies the check points in the establishment time of ERP S/W. To do this, this paper used empirical data obtained from the firms and analyzed it by using statistical software.

      • AC4C계 Al합금에서 미세조직에 미치는 중력주조와 가압주조의 영향에 관하여

        자동차용 Pump/housing에 사용되는 AC4C계 A1합금을 중력주조와 가압주조방법으로 응고시킬 때 가스기공, 수축결함과 같은 미세조직의 거동과 기계적 성질의 변화를 조사하였다. 압력의 증가에 기인한 빠른 응고속도는 미세수축공과 기공의 결함을 감소시켜 결정조직의 미세화를 일으켰다. 중력주조재는 주괴면 부근에 역편석을 일으켰으나 가압재는 응고시간에 감속에 기인하여 center방향으로 합금성분의 정상적인 편석이 나타났다. It was investigated in the behavior of microstructure such as gas porosity, shrinkage defect and mechanical properties during solidification of AC4C alloy for use of Pump/housing. Crystal structure of squeeze cast was fine and dense, because of the greater solidification rate of cast material resulting from the applied pressure. A normal segregation phenomena of an increasing in amount of eutectic towards the center of the specimen was observed for squeeze casting

      • 웹 환경의 구성 요소를 고려한 보안 문제에 관한 연구

        웹의 출현 이후, 급속한 기술의 발전으로 인해, 어느덧 우리사회의 전통적인 사회적인 프로토콜의 패러다임까지 변화시키기에 이르렀다. 웹의 역할은 이제, 웹 상에서 교환되는 정보의 기밀성뿐만 아니라, 웹을 사용하는 주체들의 안전성까지 보호받아야 될 필요성까지 포함할 정도로 매우 커지고 있다. 즉, 웹상에서 이루어지는 트랜잭션과 트랜잭션을 만들고 있는 객체까지도 보호받아야 될 대상에 포함되었다는 의미하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 실제 발생한 보안 사고들의 문제점과 대응책들이 발표되고 널리 공개되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 웹환경을 웹클라이언트, 웹서버, 네트워크 프로토콜의 3가지로 크게 분류하여, 지금까지 노출된 웹환경의 전반적인 보안관련 문제점들과 다양한 공격 방법들을, 웹을 구성하고 있는 구성요소별로 살펴보고, 보다 다양한 관점과 넓은 범위에서 문제점을 분석하고 대응책을 제안하였다. The rapid development of technologies in WWW brought us to require new ones from traditional paradigms in our society. Now, the role of WWW has enlarged more and more to keep not only the privacy of data in transmit on WWW, but also the security of subjects who play in WWW. It means that the security should be expanded to include those who make a transaction on the WWW as well as a transaction on the WWW itself. For this, so many accidents happened before and their recommendation patches have been published. In this paper, we classified the WWW environments as 3 composite elements : a web client, a web server, and a network protocol. Also, we analyzed the problems of WWW security and the attacks over the weakness, and, suggested the responses against them in a WWW environmental respect with more views and wider extent.

      • 유연구조물의 잔류진동제어를 위한 시간지연기법 연구

        본 논문에서는 유연한 부착물을 갖는 우주구조물의 회전 시 발생할 수 있는 잔류진동을 최소화하고 또한 그 응용 범위가 넓은 입력설계 방법과 등가화 된 시간 지연기법을 다루었다. 먼저 Singh과 Vadali가 제안한 제어기를 이용하여 하나의 모드에 대한 시간 지연 제어기를 설계하고 입력설계 방법과 등가화 됨을 보였다. 그리고 실제 모델에 대한 적용과 해석을 위하여 우주구조물에서 많이 사용되는 유연구조물의 운동방정식을 유도하고 해석하였고, 실험을 통하여 입력 설계 방법과 시간 지연 기법을 이용한 잔류 진동 제어에 대한 성능이 우수함을 확인할 수 있었다. In this paper, the time-delay control (TDC) design methods for command signals to minimize the induced residual vibration followed by the maneuvers of the flexible structures has been studied. The equivalence between the time-delay control and the input shaping control has been shown and TDC is applied to control the residual vibration of the flexible structure in this study. It has been shown by a series of simulation and experiments that TDC is very effective to suppress the residual vibration of flexible structure induced by its maneuvers.

        THE EVOLUTION OF LEGAL EDUCATION IN SINGAPORE

        Legal education in Singapore has, until 2007, been provided exclusively by the Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore (“NUS Law”). This has made curricular policies and changes undertaken in NUS Law the only point of reference when assessing the way in which the experience of reading law in Singapore has evolved. Despite being the only law school in the country, NUS Law has demonstrated its ability to innovate and reform the legal curriculum in order to respond to the needs of the profession and more broadly, of globalization. NUS Law is therefore a highly unusual institution since the major reforms to the curriculum and the entire law school experience were introduced at a time when there was no competing provider of legal education in Singapore. Of the various reforms implemented, this article will focus primarily on the changes introduced to the core curriculum. The impact of a compulsory course on any graduating class as a whole is likely to be more profound than that of an optional course which cannot and does not aspire to reach the entire student population. In this regard, this article traces the possible reasons for and student reception of three courses which were introduced to the core curriculum fairly recently: Legal Analysis Writing and Research (“LAWR”), Legal Theory and Comparative Legal Traditions, and the implications of a legal education that encompasses both skills and academic learning. The Singapore experience should be of interest to law schools that intend to reform an existing curriculum or create a new one. It has certainly been a very exciting period for law students and legal academics in Singapore

      • Regulation mechanism of mitochondria dynamics during cellular senescence: Is a promising target for aging?

        Cellular senescence has been implicated in normal aging. Recent studies demonstrating detrimental role of senescent cells in aging process have triggered many attempts to control senescent cells. In order to improve healthy aging by controlling senescent cell phenotype, a more accurate understanding of molecular mechanism of cellular senescence is essential. We recently found that mitochondrial elongation plays an important role in the induction of cellular senescence. By analyzing tumor suppressor p53-induced cellular senescence model, we revealed that mitochondrial elongation accompanies mitochondrial dysfunction and increases intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, an important mediator of cellular senescence. Mechanistical analysis revealed that inhibitory phosphorylation of Drp1 Ser637 was increased upon p53 expression, and the translocation of Drp1 into mitochondria was thereby suppressed. Protein kinase A (PKA) activity is responsible for p53-mediated Drp1 S637 phosphorylation and that the intracellular level of cyclic AMP, a PKA activator, is also increased upon p53 expression. Changes in mitochondrial morphology through the PKA-Drp1 pathway were also observed in IMR90 normal human fibroblasts upon treatment with Nutlin-3a, a small molecular activator of the p53 pathway. We further showed that the PKA-Drp1 pathway plays an important role in mitochondrial dynamics in other types of cellular senescence and senescence of normal cells. Furthermore, the inhibition of PKA activity in late-passage normal cells significantly reduced both mitochondrial elongation and cellular senescence. Our results show that mitochondrial dynamics play an important role in cellular senescence and we, thus, propose that the mitochondrial dynamics of senescent cells could be a promising target for healthy aging.
