중원 문화재 발굴 100년, 회고와 전망 ; 中國東北地區舊石器時代文化遺存的發現與認識 -兼談與朝鮮半島舊石器文化的關系-

동북지역에서는 지금까지 모두 38곳의 구석기시대 유적이 발견되었다. 발견된 유적과 출토된 유물은 수량이 풍부하고 종류가 다양하여 중국 동북지역 구석기시대 문화유적의 모습과 기술전통을 종합적으로 인식하고 분석하는데 중요한 자료를 제공해 주고 있다. 한편, 한국 중원지역의 구석기시대 유적은 그 수량이 비교적 많은 편으로, 발견된 문화유적은 각각 구석기시대 초기, 중기, 후기를 대표하고 있다. 석기의 특징을 통해 볼 때, 한국 중원지역의 구석기문화 유적은 초기와 중기는 자갈돌 석기 위주이다. 석기의 원료는 석영암과 석영이 주로 사용되었으며 중대형 석기가 다수를 점하고 있다. 후기의 석기는 소형석기 혹은 잔석기가 제작되었으며, 석재의 잔편이 주로 이용된다. 석기의 원료가 다양화되기 시작되며, 석영암, 석영 외에도 흑운모와 장석 등이 사용되고 있다. 중국에서 지금까지 발견된 구석기시대 문화는 진령(秦嶺)-회하(淮河)를 경계로 남북 양대계통(혹은 이원구조(二元結構))로 나눌 수 있다. 즉 남방의 구석기문화는 자갈돌석기 위주이며, 북방의 구석기문화는 석편석기 위주로 문화이다. 한국 중원지역에서 발견된 구석기시대 문화와 중국에서 발견된 구석기문화를 비교해 보면, 어렵지 않게 그들 사이의 매우 큰 유사성이 존재하는 것을 발견할 수 있다. 특히나, 후기의 유적들 간의 잔석기 제작 전통은 매우 유사하다고 할 수 있으며 이는 동일한 문화계통에 속한다는 것을 설명해 줄 뿐만 아니라, 동북아 구석기시대 후기의 문화적 전파와 확산을 이해하는데 매우 중요한 의의를 갖고 있다. The relics of Old Stone Age have been found in total 38 places in Northeastern area so far. The relics found and excavated are plentiful in numbers and various in kinds, which provide important data in recognizing and analyzing the cultural relics and technology tradition of Old Stone Age in Northeastern area of China in a comprehensive way. By the way, the relics of Old Stone Age in Joongwon region in Korea are relatively many in quantity and the cultural relics found there represent the early times, middle times, and latter times of Old Stone Age, respectively. From the perspective of the characteristics of stone tools used, the relics in the early and middle times of Old Stone Age in Joongwon region in Korea were mainly pebbles. The materials of stone tools were mainly quartzite and quartz and most of them were middle and large-sized stone tools. In the latter times, small-sized stone tools or microlith were made and tiny fragments were mainly used. As the stone materials became diverse, biotite and feldspar were used in addition to quartzite and quartz. The culture of Old Stone Age that was found so far in China can be divided into two part of North and South (or dual structure) with the boundaries of Tsinling - Huaihe. That is, culture of Old Stone Age in South region was pebbles-centered while the culture of Old Stone Age in North region was flake tool-centered. Comparing the culture of Old Stone Age found in Joongwon region in Korea with the culture of Old Stone Age found in China, we can easily find the similarity between the two cultures. In particular, the tradition to make microlith between the two cultures in latter times were quite similar, which not only explains that they belonged to the same cultural line but also has very significant meaning in understanding the cultural propagation and expansion of Old Stone Age in latter times in North East Asia.

The survey can give erroneous results because of an incorrect choice of the characteristics to be measured. We described methods for demographic data that are based on the numeric difference between the inaccurate and accurate measurement. Such as Whipples index, Myers index, joint score, cohort survival techniques and interpolation method used to evaluate survey measurement methods, which are aimed at detecting the tendency to misreport age by rounding or other digit preferences in a demographic survey. In this study, We are testing the accuracy of the age data in population census by above methods.

Employer branding is an approach used by different companies to maintain their current employment and attract individuals to join the company. This study aims to determine the effect of employer branding on turnover intention and employee satisfaction among the utility sectors in the Philippines. This paper provides additional support for the organizations present understanding by improving the employees motivation to stay in the company. Data were collected using survey questionnaires to two hundred (200) employees from different utility industry in Metro Manila. A quantitative approach has been applied in this study by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for testing the hypothesis. The result showed that employer branding and job satisfaction are positively related. And as job satisfaction increases;the turnover intention of employees decreases.

Analizinmg by way of probability law the hydrological data, based on the discharge observed for the long period of past years, it was possible to estimate whether the esult could carrespond with actual measurement. The aim of the paper was to analyze and calculate the Observed discharge statistcally and lastly to compare with various probability distribution at a selected nakdong site on the Nakdong river. In this analysis, the following probability distributions were applied and investgated for the study of suitablo probability law. 1) normal distribution 2) log normal distribution(2 paremeter) 3) log normal distribution(3 paremeter) 4) Garma distribution 5) Rayleigh distribution As a result of this study, the normal distribution was appeared to the most favoud one among the various probability distribution.

Using the Differential quadrature method (DQM) on Residual vibration analysis of an Electrostatically actuated microswitch structure is focused to study in this work. The application of external voltage between an electrode and a microbeam results in microbeam vibration during the transient period before the beam reaches its permanent position. The lifetime of a microswitch or a modulator is dependent on the number of switching-cycles it performs; therefore severe residual vibrations may reduce the lifetime of the micro-actuator and introduce operating delays. Consequently, understanding and controlling the residual vibration in a micro-actuator is paramount. In this study, the effects of design parameters on the dynamic responses of a microswitch were formulated and considered. The models proposed use the DQM combined with the Wilson-q method, to treat the nonlinear transient problem of microswitches, and simultaneously consider the effects of position-dependent electrostatic force, mechanical restoring force, and squeeze-film damping. Additionally, the effects of the electrode in various positions on the residual vibration of the microbeam were explored. Variations of residual vibrations with variously shaped beams and electrodes were simulated and studied to control the settling time of the micro-actuator. Analysis results indicate that the residual vibration of microswitches can be markedly changed by effects of the shape and tip thickness of beam, and length and position of electrode of an electrostatically actuated microswitch structure system.

Thermal judder has been effected by the thermal deformation of the brake disk. High friction heat is generated during braking and concentrated to particular regions of the brake disk. The heat is transferred to the air through the brake disk. Because the temperature distribution on the disk is irregular, thermal deformation has been occurred during braking. In this study, thermal deformation analysis of brake disk by FEM has been practiced. The results of the analysis show the deformed shape and temperature distribution of the brake disk. The deformed shape due to the thermal judder has been verified at the early stage of the braking.
