Aggregation Processes of a Weak Polyelectrolyte, Poly(allylamine) Hydrochloride
Jaejung Park,최영욱,손대원,KyungBae Kim,정회일 대한화학회 2008 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.29 No.1
Poly(allylamine) hydrochloride is a weak cationic polyelectrolyte that exhibits different aggregation properties at different solution pH values and aging times. Specifically, after several days aging in a pH 3 buffer, less than 1 mg/mL poly(allylamine) hydrochloride became turbid, and the hydrodynamic radius increased with a single diffusion mode. However, the hydrodynamic radius did not change at high concentrations. The dynamic processes of polymer aggregations at different pH values were verified by a light scattering and zeta-potential apparatus. The major interaction was caused by the capturing of counterions by the polyelectrolyte, which generates electrostatic, hydrophobic and cation-π interactions.
Analysis of Success Factors of HYBE based on Service Triangle Model - BTS Case Study -
Jaejung Kang 한국인터넷전자상거래학회 2021 인터넷전자상거래연구 Vol.21 No.5
In this study, the service triangle model is used to identify the success factors of HYBE(former Big Hit), which has raised BTS(K-POP boy group known as Bangtan Boys in Korea). The service triangle model proposed by Albrecht & Zemke(1985) presents customer-centered service strategy, people(employee, service personnel), and supporting system as the three key components of operations management. As the result of the study, we suggest various success factors from managerial perspectives. Firstly, clear identification of customer segmentation, differentiated content for teenagers and the twenties, and responsiveness to environmental changes by strengthening learning capability are important factors in customer-centered service strategy. Secondly, optimizing the customer experience and stimulating the growth of the fanbase by actively utilizing information technology platforms such as V-LIVE and Weverse are important factors in customer-centered supporting system. Thirdly, BTS members’ self-production of content and direct communication with ARMY fans are critical factors in terms of customer-centered service personnel. Although these factors presented here partially overlap with the factors presented in previous studies, this study can help upper managers establish strategies and set directions for effective management at the corporate level by suggesting success factors through a two-way connection line.
Building User Loyalty Toward a SNS Site
Jaejung Kang,Yoojung Kim 한국인터넷전자상거래학회 2015 인터넷전자상거래연구 Vol.15 No.2
As the number of SNSs increases, it is challenging for SNS providers to obtain and retain user loyalty toward a SNS site. By integrating both network effect theory and VTSL(Value-Trust-Satisfaction-Loyalty) model, we propose a research model to investigate how perceived value derived from network effect influences trust in SNS site and user satisfaction, which further lead to user loyalty. Data analysis was conducted using a total of 267 responses. The results show that perceived network size and perceived complementarity exert significant effect on functional, emotional, and social value. It is also shown that functional and social value influence positively on trust in SNS site, but emotional value is not related to trust. Functional and emotional value are found to be significant determinants of user satisfaction, however social value is not related to user satisfaction. User satisfaction is found to be a strong determinant of user loyalty. Given the findings, SNS providers need to increase network size and accommodate complementary services, applications, and supporting tools to obtain and retain user loyalty.
Bonding and Electronic Consideration in the Metal-Metal Bonded Edge Sharing Complexes
Jaejung Ko,Kuk-Tae Park,Ikchoon Lee,LEe Bon-Su Korean Chemical Society 1989 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.10 No.6
The molecular interaction of $W_2(NH_2)_4Cl_4$ fragment with chlorine ligands has been studied by means of extended Huckel calculations. We have extended the Huckel calculation to unknown edge-sharing $W_2(NH_2)_4Cl_4({\eta}-X)_2$ complexes (X = CO, H) in order to compare the stability of the complexes. The calculations showed that the size and electronic property of bridged ligand are important in determining the stability. The stabilities of the related metal-metal bonded edge-sharing complexes are discussed.
