        On watching KBS drama ‘Jing Bi Lok’ in 2015, I arise to read 《Jing Bi Lok》(written by You Sung Yong) in mind, and then have read 《Gan Yang Lok》(written by Kang Hang). Two books were written on our national suffering history in 1st and 2nd Chosun-Japanese War (1592-1598) I knew international politics of North East Asia about the end of 16 century, and strategy and tactics, political leadership, weapon system of Chosun Dynasty. Through reading 《Jing Bi Lok》and 《Gan Yang Lok》on 1st and 2nd Chosun-Japanese War, I made history view new, and happened to know a deep meaning on national and security view. Lesson learn and suggestions to give contemporary ours through 《Jing Bi Lok》and 《Gan Yang Lok》are as follows. After we find a exact change of international politics in North East Asia, we have to establish and conduct a national security strategy and military strategy. Present Korea is not of Chosun of 16 century. As a smart dolphin beyond a hedgehog, Korea have to prepare the future, developing and enforcing education training and doctrine on combined operations and joint operations, and go abreast developing weapon system and spirit power. For achieving the Unity of Korea, we have to a changed idea on prisoner and we need to change the paradigm especially for North Korean People and a prisoner of Korean Peoples Army during Stability Operations.

        Gender and Age Differences in Triple Media Usage Related to Outdoor Apparel Purchases

        This study defines the concept of triple media and examines various marketing media that influence a consumer``s purchase of outdoor fashion brands. We explore the effects of gender and age on information searches related to outdoor fashion brands and purchase criteria related to outdoor clothing. A survey of consumers who visited stores was conducted. We targeted consumers between the ages of 15 and 50 and analyzed 764 questionnaires. The results show that triple media involve eight factors: five factors (printed ads or radio ads, campaign ads, Internet ads, TV ads, and store ads) in paid media, one factor (direct marketing) in owned media, and two factors (channels of social network services, channels of direct promotion) in earned media. Further, the evaluation/appraisal criteria of outdoor clothing consist of four attributes (practicality, promotional activities, product power, and customer service). The teenager group showed significantly low usage of campaign ads, direct marketing, and direct promotion, while the use of Internet ads is particularly high among teenagers compared to other age groups. Moreover, teenagers are least likely to rely on practicality when evaluating clothing and are most likely to value product power. Additionally, women show significantly high usage of direct marketing. In terms of the clothing appraisal criteria, women assign higher value to practicality and promotional factors than men. The theoretical and managerial implications of the findings are discussed.

      • Thermal Via Placement in 3D IC Interposer

        As the technology progresses, chip area and wire length continue to increase, causing increased interconnect delays and power consumption. Integrating several functional chips in 3D stack package leads to innovation of mobile devices. However, stacking of many chips in a 3D package leads to high heat dissipation which can causes time delay and heat failure. Our study of 3D IC thermal solution focuses on interposer. Interposers are adopted for connection of 3D chips and PCB and also used as thermal pass way through PCB. Interposer with dummy thermal via is applicable for advance heat dissipation. In this paper, we suggest cost effective thermal treatment model to reduce delay caused by thermal effect. We use dummy thermal via in interposer at critical hot-spot. The suggested model results in 7.7 percents of delay reduction on the average.

      • An Edge-based Method to Classify Open and Closed Eyes for Monitoring Driver’s Drowsiness

        Monitoring the drowsiness and inattention of a driver plays an important role in preventing car accidents. Previous researches show that many vehicular accidents in highway are caused by the fatigue due to long-time driving, inattention or dozing of a driver. To resolve these problems, we propose a method to classify open and closed eyes by analyzing horizontal edge of eye images. After initial locations of face and eyes are found by using object detection methods such as Adaboost, an edge-based method is used to extract feature from detected eye image. Then, open and closed eyes are classified by the threshold based on Bayesian rule and analysis of extracted feature. Experimental results show that open and closed eyes are reliably classified in actual vehicular environments.

      • Building the capacity for climate change from low carbon development and energy GIS

        In the midst of global emerging issues for climate change mitigation and adaptation, the concentrations on capacity building (CB) and capacity development (CD) have been seriously highlighted in recent years to tackle negative impacts of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and environmental degradations at the municipal and national levels. CB and CD approach to climate change would be regarded as the development or strengthening of personal skills, expertises, and relevant institutions and organizations to reduce GHG emissions and to minimize vulnerability to climate-related impacts. There are, however, still ambiguous aspects of CB and CD as to how climate change"s experts and specialists in the UNFCCC, UNE(D)P and GEF could translate multi-dimensional natures of capacities into a specific heart of carbon emission"s reduction and low carbon development without slacks or discontinuity of sustainable development. The paper expounds international views of CD in association with low carbon developments and proposes an innovative model for climate change sustainable capacity development. In addition, a technical approach to carbon emission"s reduction is creatively designed to build the capacity in sustainable low carbon development. It especially shed light on universal characteristics of mitigative and adaptive capacity for a conceptual climate change framework based on sustainable energy and carbon management system.

      • Necessary and Sufficrent Geometric Conditions

        This Paper deals with a geometric criterion for checking the incompressibility of ∂Hk-Γ, where Hk, and Γdenotes an orientable handle body of genus k and a finite system of pairwise disjoint simple closed curves in ∂Hk. Our theorem will turn out to be very applicable for various surfaces in Hk, and give us a visual approach in detecting the incompressibility of ∂Hk-Γ. So it provides us with useful information about compressing disks for ∂Hk-Γ when ∂Hk-Γ is compressible in Hk.

        Unsteady flow simulations for synthetic jets in quiescent air

        Unsteady flow simulations were conducted to investigate the flow generated by a synthetic jet actuator in quiescent air. The predicted synthetic jets by 2D axisymmetric and 3D simulations were compared to each other and experimental data to check their accuracy. It was found that the 2D axisymmetric simulations were as accurate as the 3D simulations to predict synthetic jets in quiescent air. Thereafter, three different membrane profiles, namely a simple trigonometric model, a distributed load model and a concentrated load model, have been tested to determine which one is most appropriate to describe the motion of a piezoelectric disc, which was attached to a cavity and was oscillated to generate synthetic jets, using 2D axisymmetric unsteady simulations. Finally, a critical value of Mach number was found in this work for considering the compressibility of air based on the numerical simulations for synthetic jets.

      • 랜덤 포레스트 기법을 이용한 한국 프로야구 승부 예측에 관한 연구

        야구는 흔히 기록의 스포츠라는 별명으로 많이 불린다. 그만큼 야구라는 운동이 갖는 기록의 종류는 무척 다양하고 또한 기록의 활용 가능성 역시 무궁무진하다. 이러한 별명에 걸맞게 미국에서는 야구에 대한 다양하고 방대한 정보를 수집하고 활용하고 있다. 그러나 한국 프로야구에 대한 정보의 수집과 활용은 아직까지 크게 부각되지 못하는 것이 현실이다. 랜덤 포레스트 기법을 이용하여 경기의 승부를 예측함으로써 한국 프로야구 데이터의 수집과 활용을 증대 시키는 효과를 기대해 본다. 본 논문에서는 2014년 한국 프로야구의 승부 예측을 주제로 어떠한 누적 스포츠 데이터집단이 가장 유효한지를 실험 하였다. 승부 예측을 하기위해 사용된 누적 스포츠 데이터는 2014년부터 2014년까지의 선수와 팀 기록,2012년부터 2014년까지의 선수와 팀 기록이다. 이들 세 그룹의 데이터를 이용하여 이분데이터 모형에 랜덤 포레스트 기법을 사용한 승부예측 알고리즘에 적용 시킨 후 어느 그룹의 데이터가 가장 실제 2014 한국 프로야구 경기결과와 맞을 확률이 높음을 구하여 가장 유용한 데이터 그룹이 어떤 그룹인지 연구 하였다
