The Geumeoseonwon (金魚禪院) at Beomeosa (梵魚寺) temple is a representative example of the modernity of Korean Buddhism. The Beomeosa temple hold a large numbers Seon meeting (禪社) in Korean modern Era, the two people who showed distinct actions in this process were Ven Gyeongheo (1849~1912) and Ven Sung-wol (1865~1943). They succeeded in the practice of Seon Buddhism in Korea, and at the same time actively responded to changes in the modern era, striving to realize a modern sensation that maintains a sense of history and role. The aspect of modern Seon center, which began in the Geumeoseonwon, became more concrete and nationalized with the opening of the Seonhakwon (禪學院). During the Japanese colonial period, the establishment of the Seonhakwon was the result of reflecting the political and social situation at the same time as a buddhist historical event. The Seonhak had a legal identity as a foundation, and took a modern temple operation that introduced the mutual aid form of mutual aid or cooperative management. The historical meaning it shows can be found in that it shows the modernity of Korean Buddhism. The Geumeoseonwon and Seonhakwon are closely related. Due to the development of traffic communication, Seoul and Busan were geographically far apart, but were the closest cities. The Geumeoseonwon expanded the modern temple operation system to Seoul, thanks to the modern traffic network, and the concrete result was the Seonhakwon. These two monasticism have sufficient conditions to grasp the modernity of Korean modern Seon meeting.

Generation of Locally Optimal Trajectories against Moving Obstacles using Gaussian Sampling
Vol.2016 No.10
Differential Dynamic Programming (DDP) can effectively solve an optimal control problem; however, it cannot deal with temporally changing environments such as an appearance of a moving obstacle. In this paper, we present the segmentation of locally optimal trajectories under an environment with a moving obstacle. The agent finds locally optimal trajectories by sampling Gaussian samples according to its existing incomplete policy. After one episode of the agent movement is over and if this episode performs better than the previous one, the policy is reinforced by learning the trajectories of the episode. We show that the algorithm successfully generates the locally optimal trajectories to avoid moving obstacles, and the performance of the resulting policy is improved as the episode progresses. These results would help apply reinforcement learning to robotics in two respects: learning the policy with a small number of iteration by reusing DDP policy, and taking action against changing environments. Because a real-world robot has to deal with a variant environment and has a limit of iterations for policy learning, these two results would help to settle the reinforcement learning issues for robotics.
Mechanical Properties of Tow Prepreg Applied to AFP using Surface-tackiness
JaeHyeon Lim,Ki-Young Kim,Joonmyung Choi,Jae-Chul Lee 한국섬유공학회 2022 Fibers and polymers Vol.23 No.6
This study presents the production of a carbon-fiber composite material using a thermosetting epoxy resin andPolyether Sulfone (PESU), a thermoplastic toughening agent. A tow prepreg was fabricated using the proposed hightoughnessresin, and it was applied to the automated fiber placement (AFP) process. To obtain resin with different viscosities, different ratios of solid epoxy YD-011 were mixed with the high-toughness resin, which contained liquid epoxy YD-128 and10 phr of PESU, at certain ratios. The surface-tackiness of each mix of resin was then compared by applying the tow prepregthat was produced to the AFP process. The results indicate that the resin mix that contained 10 % of solid epoxy was the mostsuitable for the AFP process. Subsequently, the mechanical and thermal properties of the resin and tow prepregs using onlythe liquid epoxy containing the PESU were compared with the resin and tow prepregs that contained 10 % solid epoxy. Theresin produced by adding 10 % solid epoxy to the liquid epoxy exhibited improvements of 3 % in tensile strength, 16% intensile modulus, and 27 % in impact strength when compared to the resin that used only the liquid epoxy. Furthermore, thefracture toughness test results using single-edge notched bending and compact tension methods showed a decrease of 10 %and 16% , respectively, and the glass transition temperature decreased by 5 %. In the case of the tow prepreg specimenproduced by adding 10 % solid epoxy to the liquid epoxy, it exhibited a decrease of 0.6% in the 0 ° tensile strength, adecrease of 1.6% in tensile modulus, and an increase of 4 % in the 90 ° tensile strength when compared to the tow prepregthat applied only the liquid epoxy. In addition, the ILSS interfacial strength increased by 1 %, while the double cantileverbeam fracture toughness decreased by 8 %. A comparison of the results showed that the tow prepreg prepared by adding10 % solid epoxy to the liquid epoxy had excellent mechanical properties, and the tow prepregs were laminated mostappropriately in the AFP process, thus verifying its applicability as a resin in tow prepregs for the AFP process.
