        경기 일부지역 육용 양돈작업장의 분진 및 내독소 농도

        The aim of this study was to evaluate exposure to dust and endotoxin produced while working at swine confinement buildings. The dusts and endotoxin may cause adverse health effects on humans. Fourteen swine farms located at Yong-In, I-Cheon and Yeo-Ju of onggi-do were investigated. Husbandry workers form the farms were requested to wear personal sampler to measure respirable dust levels. Area samplings for total and respirable dust were also conducted at swine confinements buildings by season (summer under window open, winter under window close.) Gravimetric analyses and Limulus Amebocyte Lysate assay for measu- rement of dust level and endotoxin, respectively. The highest geometric mean (GM) concentration of airbome dusts was 7.47mg/㎡ for area respirable dust. and 10.35mg/㎡ for personal respirable dust. For respirable dust levels, seven farmers exceeded level of ACGIH, 3mg/㎥. The highest GM of endo- toxin was 5745.40 EU/㎥ for personal respirable dust. Significantly increased level of total dust (p〈0.001) and endotoxin in area total dust was observe with winter samples compared with those of summer. Area total dust and area respirable dust (r-0.622, p〈0.0001) was very significantly correlated in winter. Swine husbandry worker may have a considerable risk of ill health whenexposed to level of dust or endotoxin demonstrated at this study.

        아시아 12개국의 응급의학 실태에 대한 연구 조사

        Background : To assess the current level of development of emergency medicine (EM) systems in Asia. Method : Survey of EM professionals from 12 Asian countries during a 90-day period from August to November 1998. 12 EM professionals from 12 Asian countries completed the survey. All participants were physicians. 7 participants (58%) gave presentations at an international EM conference during the study period. Respondents completed a 103 question questionnaire about the status of EM specialty, academic, patient care, information and management systems and the factors influencing the future of EM in their countries. Results : 92% of respondents stated that their countries have hospital-based emergency departments (ED). More than 80% of respondents reported that their countries have EMS systems and ED systems for trauma care and patient transfer. More than 70% stated that their countries have national EM organizations, EM research, national EMS activation phone numbers, ED systems for pediatric emergency care, emergency physician (EP) training in ACLS and ATLS and peer review. More than 60% reported official recognition of EM as an independent specialty status, ED triage systems and systems for customer service. More than 50% reported EM residency training programs, EM journals and EP ability to perform rapid sequence intubation (RSI). 50% reported EP ability to perform thrombolysis for acute MI and 33% reported EP ultrasonography. 92% felt that a lack of funding posed a moderate or great obstacle to the future development of EM in their countries. Conclusions : Many essential systems of EM now exist throughout Asia. In the systems of administration and emergency medical information in many countries, there are some parts to be developed further.

        수완진동 증후군에서 신경장해의 조기진단을 위한 객관화된 방법

        목적: 통각과 진동감각 역치검사 및 수부와 수지의 악력, 그리고 수지의 운동기능검사(태평) 등과 근로자들이 호소했던 증상에 대한 HAVS의 스톡홀름 워크샵 분류와의 관련성을 통해 좀 더 객관화된 신경학적 조기검사 방법을 찾고 타당성을 검증하고자 하였다. 방법: 2000년 1월부터 2007년 12월까지 수부진동에 폭로되고 수부의 불편함을 호소하여 진동 장해에 대한 검사를 시행한 497명의 근로자를 대상으로 하였다. 일차적으로 문진을 통해 직업력에 대해 알아보고 과거력을 조사했다. 대상자들의 스톡홀름 워크샵 분류에 따른 소견을 확인하고 수부의 말초 순환기능 검사(손톱압박, 수지피부 온도), 신경기능 검사(통각과 진동각 역치), 운동기능 검사(악력, 태평) 등을 시행하였다. 다른 질환의 감별을 위한 몇 가지 이학적 검사를 실시하고 스톡홀름 워크샵 분류에 따른 검사 결과들을 분석하였다. 결과: 사용 도구는 그라인더 단독 사용이 265명 (67.3%)으로 가장 많았으며 평균 노출 연수는 14.8년이었다. 통각과 진동감각에서 스톡홀름 워크샵 분류 단계에 따른 역치가 증가하는 경향을 보였으나 통각은 양측 모두 통계적인 유의성이 없었고, 진동감각은 125와 250 Hz에서 양측 모두 유의했다(p=0.006-0.038). 수부와 수지의 악력은 단계가 올라갈수록 감소하는 경향을 보였지만 수부와 수지 모두 우측에서만 통계적으로 유의했다 (p=0.041, p<0.01, p=0.034). 태평 첫수는 단계가 올라 가면서 전반적으로 태핑 첫수가 감소하였으며 좌측에서만 통계적으로 유의했다(p=0.002-0.019). 결론: 본 연구는 수부 진동 노출자들의 수부 불편함에 대한 신경계통을 초기에 정량적으로 객관화하여 진단할 수 있는 단일 방법은 아직 없으며 일상생활의 불편함과 스톡홀름 워크샵 분류 등을 통한 주관적인 증상에 더하여 수지 통각과 진동감각 역치검사, 수부와 수지 악력검사, 운동기능검사(태핑) 등을 통합하면 초기에 객관적으로 진단하는 것이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. Objectives: In order to determine find out the best methods for a more objective detection of neurologic abnormality in early hand ann vibration syndrome(HAVS), early with analyzing the validity of each of the detection methods was analyzed. We evaluated the relationships between the sensorineural stage of Stockholm-revised vibration syndrome classification and the results of several tests. Methods: 497 workers were investigated for symptom, exposure duration, the types of tools used, and medical history from January 2000 to December 2007. Pain sense threshold, vibrotactile threshold, hand grasp force, finger grasp force, and a finger tapping frequency test were performed by the workers. Results: The grinder(67.3%) was the most commonly used tool and the mean exposure duration was 14.8 years. Although the pain sense and vibrotactile threshold level tended to increase according to sensorineural stage of the Stockholm classification, there was statistically significant difference in the vibrotactile threshold of 125, 250 Hz (P=0.006~0.038) but not in the pain sense threshold. Hand and finger grasp force tended to decrease according to the sensorineural stage of Stockholm classification and there was statistically significant difference(P=0.041, <0.001, 0.034) only on the right hand side. The tapping frequency also generally decreased according to the sensorineural stage of the Stockholm classification and there was statistically significant difference (P=0.002~0.019) only on the left hand side. Conclusions: Although there is no single standardized method that can objectively diagnose the Sensorineural component of early HAVS early, the combination of subjective symptoms, the sensorineural stage of Stockholm classification, the pain and vibrotactile threshold test, the hand and finger grasp force, and the finger agility (tapping) test can objectively detect sensorineural component of HAVS early.

      • 산업보건관리자를 위한 소음성 난청 예방지침서의 개발

        Occupational hearing loss became the leading occupational disease by constioution 56% of all work-related diseases in Korea. However, the prevalance rates showed wide variations among the specific medical examination providers and were very low(0.8-1.4%) compared with those 8.4% in Japan. The sources of these variations was regarded in the preview study as 1) Employee audometric estings were primarily conducted by nurses and nurse-aids who had no formal training for audiometry; 2) althought audiometric testing equipment used by the spedific medical examination providers, it should be periodically calibrated, a significant number of them were not properly calibrated : 3) Initial audiometric testings were conducted at any available spaces in workplace or at the testing room without considering bachground noise level. One of solutions that can be done for sloving surrent noise related problems is to provide a noise related manual for the occupational health managers including doctors, nurses and hyginests. This study was done to provide such a manual. The main core of the manual was hearing conservation program. And the contents of the manual was the same as the main frame of hearing conservation program such as noise survey, provided of the diagram showing the core contents of each factor of the hearing conservation program. Hopefully, this manual will be the references of the standardized performances of the specific medical examination providers.

      • 지역발전을 위한 대학교 연구소 역할활성화에 관한 연구 : 아산·천안지역과 순천향대학교 사회과학연구소를 중심으로 focused on Asan and Chonan Area and the Research Institute of Social Science at Soonchunhyang University

        The objective of this study is to survey the demand of profit and non-profit sectors to research institute of social sciences at soonchunhyang university(RISS of SCH) in Asan and Chonan city, to find the policy alternatives to develop RISS of SCH. Form the result of analysis, the degree of recognition to RISS of SCH of both profit and non-profit sectors is very low, but their willingness to cooperate with RISS of SCH is relatively high. Especially they want the partnership with RISS of SCH in reeducation of their staffs, exchange of information, and co-works in research and seminar so on. This study suggests as the developing ways of RISS of SCH, changing organizational structure, making eeducation programmes for staffs of profit and non-profit sector, creating new media to disseminate information, and publishing partnership research journal with neighborhood university so on.

      • SnO₂/Si 移種接合 太陽電池 特性에 관한 硏究

        In this study, the SnO_2/(n)Si solar cell was fabricated by electron beam evaporation method, and their properties were investigated. Also the resistivity and optical transmission of SnO_2 thin film were measured, and the relations between this results and solar cell characteristics were considered, and the following conclusions were obtained. (1) In proportion to increase of substrate and annealing temperature, the conductivity of SnO_2 thin film becomes increasing, but its optical transmission decreases because of increasing optical absorption of free electrons in the thin film. (2) Solar cell characteristics were improved by annealing. But the SnO_2/Si solar cell was deteriorted by heat treatment above 500℃. (3) The optimal outputs of SnO_2/Si solar cell through above investigation were V_sc: 350mV, I_∝: mA/㎠, FF : 0.41, η=4.74%

        This study selected each seven high-school tennis players of male and female and analyzed the M.RA according to the type of tennis service and the Muscle Active Potential of M.ES by using an electromyogram system. The results as follows; 1.The Muscle Active Potential of female tennis players is higher than that of male tennis players in M.RA according to Tennis Service Types. 2.The Muscle Active Potential of female tennis players is higher than that of male players in M.ES according to Tennis Serrice Types. 3.In male and female M.RA, the Muscle Active Potential of right and left showed the contrary results. 4.In male and female M.ES, the Muscle Active Potential is high in the second service in the case of male and in the first service in the case of female. 5.Female tennis player can improve efficiency in the aspect of biomechanics by strengthening the muscle of M.RA and M.ES. 6.The second service of male tennis player showed less efficient Muscle Active Potential than his first service because of excessive trunk muscle twist.

      • Indium 添加된 CdS/(p)Si 異種接合 太陽電池의 製造 및 特性에 관한 硏究

        In this study, the CdS/(p)Si solar cell was fabricated by electron-beam evaporation method, and their properties were investigated. Also the resistivity and optical transmission of CdS thin film were measured. The relation between this results and solar cell characteristics was considered, and came to as follow conclusion. 1. CdS this film is the polycrystalline in direction of (002), and has the hexagonal structure. In proportion to increase of substrate and annealing temperature, the optical band gap, and therefore the photo-transmittance in the absorption edge increases, while conductivity above the critical conditions decreases. 2. In proportion to Indium concentration, the resistivity of CdS thin film is the lowest when Indium concentration is 2[wt%]. In the photo-transmittance for the whole visible light, when the concentration is 2 [wt%], Burstein- Moss shift is the largest. 3. I_SC, V_OC FF, η, display the maximum value when the annealing temperture is at 350[℃]. 4. The characterisitcs of solar cells, that is I_SC V_OC FF, η, fabricated by mixture with In, somewhat more increases than those which is not mixed with. 5. In the optimal conditions the I-V characterisitics of the fabricated CdS/(p)Si solar cells shows as follows. V_OC:450[mV], I_SC:11.5[mA/㎠'], FF:0.475, η:4.92[%]

        중소기업 기술혁신 극대화를 위한 중점지원분야 선정방안 연구

        중소기업청에서는 중소기업의 연구개발을 촉진하고 혁신형 중소기업을 육성하기 위해, 정책적 부합성을 우선적으로 고려하여 선정된 중점지원분야를 중심으로 연구개발 자금을 지원하고 있다. 이러한 하향식 중점지원분야 선정의 실효성을 파악하기 위해 각 분야별 종사 중소기업의 분포, 과제 지원 중소기업의 분포, 선정 과제 분포 사이의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과 종사 중소기업 수와 과제 지원중소기업 수가 각 분야별로 큰 편차를 보였으며, 선정된 중점지원분야가 중소기업의 기술개발 수요를 정확히 반영하지 못하고 있었다. 또한 지원 중소기업의 분포가 종사 중소기업의 분포에 강한 의존성을 보여, 중소기업들은 주로 정책적 방향에 따르기 보다는 현재 종사하고 있는 사업 분야에서 연구개발을 기획하려는 경향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 선정과제 분포가 지원 중소기업 분포에 강한 상관관계를 보여, 중점지원분야들이 전략적으로 고르게 육성되기 보다는 단순히 지원업체의 분포에 따라 지원자금이 배분되고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 하향식 중점지원분야 선정의 한계를 보완하기 위해, 중소기업의 기술개발 니즈를 우선 반영하는 상향식 중점지원분야 선정 방안을 제안하였다. 상향식 선정 방식에서는 기술개발 수요, 기술개발 역량, 기술성 및 시장성, 정책적 중요도의 순서로 고려되는 것이 바람직하며, 이는 다양한 사업 기획에 더욱 유연하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In order to facilitate the R&D of SMEs and foster innovative SMEs, the Small and Medium Business Administration is funding the SMEs in the focused supporting industries which are selected by a primary consideration of the political conformity. The correlations among the distribution of engaged SMEs, the distribution of SMEs which applied the fund, and the distribution of SMEs funded in the industries are analysed, in order to realize the effectiveness of the top-down method for selecting the focused supporting industries. As a result, there was a large deviation of both the number of the engaged SMEs and the number of the applied SMEs in the each industry, which means that the selected industries did not accurately reflect the needs for the technology development of SMEs. In addition, the distribution of the applied SMEs was strongly depended on the distribution of the engaged SMEs, which shows the trend that SMEs are trying to make R&D plans in their current industry rather than following the political drive. Moreover, because the distribution of the funded SMEs is strongly correlated with that of the applied SMEs, one could know that the selected industries were neither fostered strategically nor evenly but the fund was distributed simply according to the distribution of the applied SMEs. In this study, in order to complement the limitations of the top-down method, the bottom-up method which primarily consider the needs for the technology development of SMEs was suggested. It is desirable to consider in the order of the needs and the capabilities of SMEs, the technological perspective and marketability of the industry, and the political importance in the bottom-up method, and it is expected that the method could be flexibly used in the planning of the various programs.
