항암 화학치료를 받은 아동의 치아발육이상: 증례보고

치아발육시기의 항암치료는 치아에 영향을 줄수 있으며 이에 대한 예상 및 적절한 치료계획수립이 필요하다. 본 증례에서 환자의 왜소치는 항암 화학요법과 관련되어 발생한 것으로 추정되며, 이에 대한 장기적 관찰 및 치료가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. With the improved cure rates for childhood malignant conditions in the past decade, late effects of cancer therapy must be recognized to minimize their impact on the quality of life in long-term survevors. Chemoradiation therapy is a major part of pediatric oncology treatment and is implicated in causing tooth agenesis, microdontia, root shortening, early apical closure, and coronal hypocalcification. Dental development may be affected by illness, trauma, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy at any point prior to complete maturation. Treatment given during the first 3.5 years of life was more likely to affect the dental lamina and crown formation and result in a small tooth. Dental treatment affected by chemoradiation damage to developing teeth includes orthodontic tooth movement, prosthetic abutment consideration, periodontal health, space maintenance, requirement for home fluoride regimens to protect hypomineralized teeth, and enodontic procedures. Dental abnormalities are common in patients treated for cancer, and these children require aggressive dental follow-up. Meticulous surveillance may facilitate detection of abnormalities, enabling the dental practitioner to intervene earlier in promoting a more aggressive regimen of oral care, thus reducing the morbidity associated with dental sequelae of oncotherapy, specifically preiodontal disease and malocclusion. In this case, we report microdontia of all premanent second premolar and second molar in an 8 year old boy treated with chemotherapeutic agents during period of active dental development(14 months to 38 months of age).

축냉재 포접화합물의 열물성에 관한 실험적 연구(Ⅱ) : 충전량 변화 Variations of Charging Conditions

본 연구에서는 에너지의 합리적 이용을 위한 건물공조용 축냉시스템에 적용 가능한 축냉재로서 TMA-물계 포접화합물의 농도와 충전량의 변화에 따른 상변화온도, 비열 및 과냉도 실험을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 충전량이 많을수록 전 실헐과정에서 열물성의 안정성이 높게 나타났다. 2. TMA-물계 포접화합물의 비열은 순수한 물에 대하여 86% ∼ 96% 정도를 나타내었다. 위의 실험결과로부터 TMA-포접화합물은 건물공조용 축냉재로서의 열물성을 갖는다고 판단된다 The objective of this Paper is to investigate the thermal properties of TMA-clathrate compound applicable to cold storage system for residential air-conditioning in order to use energy reasonably. Especially, the test tube experiments are performed to compare and analyze the concentration of TMA-clathrate compound, the temperature of heat source, and the phase change temperature, specific heat and subcooling characteristics according to the variation of charge capacity. The result is summarized as follows: the phase change temperature appears higher as the charge capacity is larger. Thus, it appears that TMA-clathrate compound has thermal properties as the cold storage medium for residential air-conditioning.

상황(Phellinus linteus)의 Guinea pig 적출 심장에 대한 보호 작용 및 항혈소판응집 작용

The cardiac effects of Phellinus linteus have been investigated on the isolated perfused guinea pig hearts maintained at the constant hydrostatic perfusion pressure of 80 ㎝ water. The effects of Phellinus linteus on ADP and PAF - induced platelet aggregation in vitro were also investigated. In ischemia-reperfusion experiments, Phellinus linteus showed negative inotropic effects by decreasing of LVP, LVDP, LV dp/dt and Rate Pressure Product, and also showed cardiac protective effect by increasing the coronary flow (CF) in the guinea pig heart. In platelet aggregation experiment, Phellinus linteus did not affect the ADP (5 μM) induced platelet aggregation, but reduced PAF (0.3 μM) induced aggregation by 26.03 ± 8.86% and 53.42 ± l2.36% at 1.0 ㎍/㎖ and 3.0 ㎍/㎖, respectively.

조류와 유기화합물의 동시제거를 위한 흡착 - DAF 복합공정

Dissolved air flotation (DAF) is an effective solid/liquid separation process for low density floc particles such as algal, color-alum and clay-alum flocs produced from low turbidity water. The removal of taste and odorcausing organics (2-mthylisoboneol and geosmin) originating from algae in drinking water is a local and worldwide concern. Although DAF has been effectively applied for the removal of suspended solid, its application for the treatment of dissolved organic carbon is very limited. In this study, a new hybrid system consisting of adsorption and DAF processes was introduced for the simultaneous removal of algae and taste and odorcausing organics. Powdered activated carbon (PAC) was used as an adsorbent. In this proposed system, the major concern of eliminating the spent PAC from the system was also addressed. It was found that zeta potential of algae and PAC was increased with coagulant dosage, and the removal efficiency in DAF was also enhanced up to 90-95% under the given experimental conditions. Based on this study, the hybrid process was found to be a promising technology for the simultaneous removal of algae and dissolved organic pollutants.

α-ZnAl₂S₄단결정의 Energy Gap의 온도 의존성에 대한 열역학적 함수 추정

In this work ? single crystals were grown by the chemical transporting reaction(CTR) method using high purity(6N) elements. The structure of grown ZnAl2S4 single crystals were cubic structure. The optical energy band gap was indirect band gap and the temperature dependence of optical energy gap was fitted well to Varshni equation. Also, the entropy, enthalpy and heat capacity were deduced from the temperature dependence of optical energy gap.

The economic impact on the environment and human health caused by conventional chemical intensive agriculture is causing scientist to re-assess the development of agricultural systems. Pesticides and processed chemical fertilizers have been shown to becausing environmental disruption which will nudermine the resource base on which agriculture production depends. The rise of sustainale agriculture, integrated pest management, organic agriculture, and other forms of alternative agriculture are a result of varmers and researchers searching for new solutions to the problem of food production which does not endanger the all important agriculture are a result of farmers and researchers endanger the all important agriculture resource base. Organic agriculture is one approach which has been developing more quickly in recent years with increasing consumer purchasing power. Organic agriculture has shown itself to be sa or more profitable, and in many cases as productive as conventional agricultural methods on some crops. Further development of organic agriculture, and low-input agriculture will require further modification of policies which overwhelmingly support high imput, chemical intensive agriculture.

벤처기업과 일반기업의 재무 및 시장변수의 차이

본 논문은 벤처기업에 관한 투자의사결정에 영향을 미치는 변수들 중에서 재무 및 시장변수에 대한 특성이 일반기업과 어떻게 다른지를 살펴 보는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 위하여 벤처기업들에 대한 정의와 특성을 알아보고 이에 기초하여 재무 및 시장변수들을 선정하여 실증적인 분석을 하였다. 코스닥시장에 등록이 되어 있는 제조업체들 중 코스닥시장 기준에 따라 분류된 벤처기업과 일반기업을 대상으로 하여 표본을 선하였고, 각 산업별로 규모와 표본 수를 동일하게 짝 지워주기 표본설계법으로 최종 표본업체들을 선정하였다. 분석방법은 재무변수(10개)와 시장변수(5개), 변동성을 보기위한 변수(2개)로 구분하여 변수를 선정하였고 이들 변수들에 대하여 1997년부터 1999년까지 3개년 자료를 대상으로 하여 연도별과 전체기간을 t-test하여 벤처기업과 일반기업 두 집단간에 유의한 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다. 그리고 로짓 분석을 통하여 선정된 변수들이 벤처기업과 일반기업을 구분하는데 갖는 설명력을 확인하여 보았다. 실증분석 결과, 각 변수들이 연도별로 벤처기업과 일반기업의 일관된 차이를 나타내지는 않았다. 그리고 로짓 분석결과 t-test에서와 마찬가지로 시장변수보다는 재무변수가 주로 유의한 차이를 설명할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 최근 벤처기업에 대한 논의는 많으나 도입기간이 짧은 관계로 재무특성등에 관한 재무 및 회계분야의 선행연구는 거의 없다. 본 논문은 여러 가지 한계점을 지니고 있지만 처음으로 벤처기업과 일반기업의 재무 및 시장변수에 있어서 차이가 있는지를 실증적으로 분석한 것에서 의의를 찾을 수 있을 것이다.
