Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the correlations big five personality traits, abnormal eating behavior, depression and, life satisfaction among female university students. Methods: The subjects for this study were female university students in Seoul, Korea. The data were collected from 151 female university students from August 13, 2019 to August 22, 2019. They were asked to fill out Big Five Inventory- Korean version(BFI-K), The Korean Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(KCES-D), The Korean Version of Eating Attitudes Test-26(KEAT-26), and, Satisfaction With Life Scale(SWLS). The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Result: First, College students’ nervousness among the five personality traits was significantly associated with depression and life satisfaction. Second, College students’ agreeableness among the five personality traits was significantly associated with abnormal eating behavior and life satisfaction. Third, College students’ abnormal eating behaviors were significantly associated with depression. Conclusion: These results suggest that female university students with higher level of nervousness are vulnerable to depression. And, it suggests that female university students with higher level of agreeableness are vulnerable to abnormal eating behavior. The intervention to consider five personality traits may improve mental health among female university students.
R&D Status of High-current Accelerators at IFP

High-current accelerators have many important applications in Z-pinches, high-power microwaves, and free electron lasers, imploding liners and radiography and so on. Research activities on Zpinches, imploding liners, radiography at the Institute of Fluid Physics (IFP) are introduced. Several main high-current accelerators developed and being developed at IFP are described, such as the Linear Induction Accelerator X-Ray Facility Upgrade (LIAXFU, 12 MeV, 2.5 kA, 90 ns), the Dragon-I linear induction accelerator (20 MeV, 2.5 kA, 60 ns), and the Primary Test Stand for Z-pinch (PTS, 10 MA, 120 ns). The design of Dragon-II linear induction accelerator (20 MeV, 2.5 kA, 3 × 60 ns) to be built will be presented briefly.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE Pt/CNTs CATALYSTS VIA HYDROGEN PLASMA FOR METHANOL ELECTROOXIDATION

High-performance carbon nanotubes-supported Pt catalysts (Pt/CNTs) catalysts were pre-pared on the basis of Pt precursors reduced by hydrogen plasma (Pt/CNTs-HP) generated bymicrowave. The other two Pt/CNTs catalysts prepared by hydrogen (Pt/CNTs-H) and NaBH 4(Pt/CNTs-N) reduction were also involved for comparison. The practical composition of thecatalysts was characterized with energy dispersive analysis of X-ray (EDAX). It was shown fromtransmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray di®raction (XRD) that the Pt nanoparticlesin Pt/CNTs-HP were uniformly dispersed on CNTs with smaller particle size around 2 nmand narrower size distribution as compared with the other two catalysts. Additionally, X-rayphotoelectron spectrum (XPS) analysis indicated higher amount of zero-valence states of Pt inPt/CNTs-HP caused by hydrogen plasma treatment. The electrooxidation of liquid methanol onthese catalysts was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), linear sweep voltammetry (LSV)and chronoamperometry. The long-time durability is very comparable to all the three catalysts. Remarkably, the Pt/CNTs-HP possessed the highest electrocatalytic activity, suggesting thatthe hydrogen plasma reduction approach can be a promising reduction method for preparinghigh-performance Pt-based electrocatalysts.

We have performed a comparative investigation of the series compounds (InSb)nCum to assess the roles of Cu addition on the thermoelectric properties and nanostructuring in bulk InSb. Detailed temperature dependent transport properties including electrical conductivity, the Seebeck coefficient, and thermal conductivity are presented. The Seebeck coefficients of In20Sb20Cu (m:n ¼ 1:20) are increased by 13percent in magnitude if compared to those of InSb, which is responsible for the 22 percent enhancement in the highest ZT value at 687 K. Although the magnitudes of kL are larger than those of InSb over the entire temperature range, a remarkable reduction in lattice thermal conductivities (kL) was observed with measuring temperature elevation. Such changes are mainly due to the precipitation of a large number of Cu9In4 nanoparticles with the size of smaller than 5 nm, dispersed in the matrix observed using high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) images.

<P/><P>Inhibition of Bcr-Abl kinase activity by imatinib for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) currently serves as the paradigm for targeting dominant oncogenes with small molecules. We recently reported the discovery of GNF-2 (<B>1</B>) and GNF-5 (<B>2</B>) as selective non-ATP competitive inhibitors of cellular Bcr-Abl kinase activity that target the myristate binding site. Here, we used cell-based structure−activity relationships to guide the optimization and diversification of ligands that are capable of binding to the myristate binding site and rationalize the findings based upon an Abl−compound <B>1</B> cocrystal. We elucidate the structure−activity relationships required to obtain potent antiproliferative activity against Bcr-Abl transformed cells and report the discovery of new compounds (<B>5g</B>,<B> 5h</B>,<B> 6a</B>,<B> 14d</B>, and <B>21j-I)</B> that display improved potency or pharmacological properties. This work demonstrates that a variety of structures can effectively target the Bcr-Abl myristate binding site and provides new leads for developing drugs that can target this binding site.</P>
Growth hormone and receptor gene mutations in Chinese Banna miniature pig

The Banna miniature pig (BNMP) is a representative miniature pig breed in China. Even though BNMP dwarfism is obvious, its underlying causative mutations remain unknown. In this study, the BNMP and Large White pig (LWP)serum growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) levels were detected by ELISA and compared. BNMP serum IGF-1 levels were significantly lower than LWP levels (P<0.05). The miniature condition may arise from mutations in the GH and GH receptor (GHR) genes. Therefore, GH and GHR cDNA from the BNMP were cloned into a pMD18-T vector by RT-PCR using the total RNA obtained from the BNMP’s pituitary and liver tissues. Sequencing results indicated that the open reading frame of the BNMP GH gene is composed of a 26-residue signal peptide and a 191-residue mature peptide. The coding sequence of the BNMP GHR gene contained 639 amino acids, including a signal peptide that is 18 amino acids long. Two amino acid substitutions, A09V and R22Q, were found in the signal peptide of the GH gene. Additionally, the S104P mutation was found in the BNMP’s mature GH protein. Four mutations in the cytoplasmic domain of GHR may influence the downstream signal transduction of GHR, which needs further experimental evidence.

The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) is a high-power, accelerator-based project currently under preparation. The accelerator complex consists of an H$^-$ ion source, an H$^-$ linac, a rapid-cycling proton synchrotron, and the transport lines. During the past year, the design of most accelerator systems went through major iterations, and initial research and developments was started on the prototyping of several key components.

CCTO (Calcium copper titanate) powder as inorganic filler was synthesized by the Sol-gel method firstly. CCTO/ PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) composite was fabricated by solution mixing based on high temperature resistance of PVDF and insulated property of CCTO. The composite of CCTO/PVDF were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscope and impedance analysis. The results showed that the addition of CCTO and increasing in its content did not affect the phase- and microstructure of the composites,but the increase of CCTO content can induce the generation of C–F new bonds. PVDF/CCTO composites were enhanced in performance of thermal and frequency-depended stability with increasing in the fraction of CCTO. The dielectric constant of CCTO/PVDF composite materials with 50% CCTO achieved to a maximum value of 50 almost, which is 5 times higher the pure PVDF. The conductivity felled into 10-8 to 10-1 S m-1 during the frequency of 102–108 Hz. The composite material would be expected to be applied in the field of integrated circuit.
