A gas-liquid two phase plunging jet is formed through a gas sucking type multi-jet ejector nozzle. In this study, the effects of various conditions in the multi-jet ejector nozzle, the column diameter, and the liquid jet length on penetration depth of air bubbles l_B and gas holdup h_G in a gas-liquid two phase plunging jet absorber were studied experimentally. Consequently, empirical equations concerning l_B and h_G were obtained, respectively. These equations agree with the experimental data with an accuracy of ±20% for l_B and ±25% for h_G.

Parallel operation systems have an advantage in that they can be constructed quickly and inexpensively by combining existing electric power converters. However, in this case, there is a peculiar problem in that a cross current flows between the electric power converters. To design a control system more simply and commonalize the core of combination reactors, we reviewed a system construction method for parallel operation systems constructed with three electric power converters.

A large capacity power conversion system constructed by using two or more existing power converters has a lot of flexibility in how the power converters are used. However, at the same time, it has a problem of cross current flows between power converters. The cross current must be suppressed by controlling the system while miniaturizing the combination reactor. This paper focuses on two current control methods of a power conversion system constructed by using two power converters connected in parallel supplying the same power. In order to elucidate the control performance of cross current, each control method which are aimed at controlling cross current and not directly controlling it are examined in simulations.

The reaction of 7-chloro-4-ethoxycarbonylmethylene-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a]quinoxaline 6 with 4-ethoxycarbonyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-5-diazonium chloride or 4-cyano-1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyra-zole-5-diazonium chloride gave 7-chloro-4-[α-(4-ethoxycarbonyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-ylhydrazono)-ethoxycarbonylmethyl]-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-α]quinoxaline 8a or 7-chloro-4-[α-(4-cyano-1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-5-ylhydrazono)ethoxycarbonylmethyl]-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-α]quinoxaline 8b, respectively, while thereaction of 7-chloro-4-ethoxycarbonylmethylene-4,5-dihydrotetrazolo[1,5-α]quinoxaline 7 with 4-ethoxy-carbonyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-5-diazonium chloride or 4-cyano-1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-5-diazoniumrhloride provided 7-chloro-4-[α-(4-ethoxycarbonyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-ylhydrazono)ethoxy-carbonylmethyl]tetrazolo[1,5-α]quinoxaline 9a or 7-chloro-4-[α-(4-cyano-1,3-dimethyl-lH-pyrazol-5-ylhydrazone)ethoxycarbonylmethyl] tetrazolol[1.5-α]quinoxailne 9b, respectively. Compounds 8a,b and 9a,b showed the tautomeric equilibria between the hydrazone imine C and diazenyl enaminc D forms indimethyl sulfoxide and/or trifluoroacetic acid. and the effects of solvent and temperature on the tautomerratios of C to D were studied by the nmr measurements in a series of mixed trifluoroacetic acid/dimethylsulfoxide media (compounds 8a,b and 9a,b) and at various temperatures (compounds 8a,b).
Hydrodynamics of a Spouted Bed with an Impermeable Draft Tube for Binary Particle Systems
Nagashima, Hiroshi,Ishikura, Toshifumi,Ide, Mitsuharu 한국화학공학회 1999 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.16 No.5
A spouted bed with an impermeable draft tube was employed to obtain fundamental data of binary mixtures of glass beads for both the operating conditions and the design factors. These data were compared with those for the coarser particle system only. From this view point, minimum spouting velocity, pressure drop, hold-up of solid particles within a draft tube, upward gas flow rate within the annulus and solids circulation rate were determined by changing the total gas flow rate and mass fraction of finer particles as operating parameters and by changing distance of entrainment zone and draft tube diameter as geometric parameters.

In this paper, we present a system of patient robot developed with the aim at improving abilities of nursing student’s medical treatment, such as injection to vein. We propose to realize variable emotion of patient robot by using chaosorbit of non-linear time-differentiation equation. To evaluate the effectiveness of the robot through actual injec-tion training, we measure heart beat rate of nurse student during the injection training, proving the effects of the robot’s similarity to human. To make the patient robot to be self-contained for the training, we propose a 3-D injector pose recognition method of patient robot to help that the robot be have autonomously along with the injection procedures of the nurse studens trainings.
