        In<sub>0.5</sub>(Ga<sub>1-x</sub>Al<sub>x</sub>)<sub>0.5</sub>P/GaAs 이중 이종접합 구조의 Contactless Electroreflectance에 관한 연구

        Metal-organic chemical vapour deposition (MOCVD)법으로 성장된 $In_{0.5}(Ga_{1-x}Al_x)_{0.5}P$/GaAs 이중 이종접합 구조의 특성을 contactless electroreflectance (CER) 분광법으로 조사하였다. CER 측정은 변조전압($V_{ac}$), 온도 및 dc 바이어스 전압($V_{bias}$)의 함수로 수행하였다. 상온에서는 5개의 신호가 관측되었는데, 이 신호들은 각각 GaAs, $In_{0.5}Ga_{0.5}P$, $In_{0.5}(Ga_{0.73}Al_{0.27})_{0.5}P$, $In_{0.5}(Ga_{0.5}Al_{0.5})_{0.5}P$ 및 $In_{0.5}(Ga_{0.2}Al_{0.8})_{0.5}P$ 전이에 관련된 것이다. CER 스펙트럼의 온도 의존성으로부터 Varshni 계수 및 평탄인 자를 구하였다. 그리고 인가전압에 따른 신호의 진폭은 순방향 바이어스 전압 인가시 점차로 감소하나, 역방향 바이어스 전압 인가시에는 반대의 경향을 보였다. We have investigated the contactless electroreflectance (CER) properties of $In_{0.5}(Ga_{1-x}Al_x)_{0.5}P$/GaAs double heterostructures grown by metal-organic chemical vapour deposition (MOCVD). The CER measurements on the sample were studied as a function of temperature, modulation voltage ($V_{ac}$), and dc bias voltage ($V_{bias}$). Five signals observed at room temperature are related to the GaAs, $In_{0.5}Ga_{0.5}P$, $In_{0.5}(Ga_{0.73}Al_{0.27})_{0.5}P$, $In_{0.5}(Ga_{0.5}Al_{0.5})_{0.5}P$, and $In_{0.5}(Ga_{0.2}Al_{0.8})_{0.5}P$ transitions, respectively. From the temperature dependence of CER spectrum, the Varshni coefficients and broadening parameters were determined and discussed. In addition, we found that the behavior of the CER amplitude for the reverse bias is larger than that of the forward.

      • 중년 여성의 에어로빅댄스와 헬스운동 참여에 따른 신체조성, 골밀도, 비특이적 운동효과에 대한 비교분석

        This study performed to compare the body composition, bone mineral density and non specificity exercise effect following to the types of exercise program. Exercise program were divided to three types as aerobic-dance, health exercise, and general women. The subjects recruited for this study were 45 middle-aged women composed of 15 aerobics-dancers and 15 health exercisers who participated in regular exercise more than 1~2 years, and 15 non-exercisers. The subjects were methods in some variables influencing body composition and femoral bone mineral density by DTX-200. Non specificity exercise effect a survey instrument modified by the researcher and based on the Psychological Well-being index. The statistical methods utilized in this study were one way ANOVA and Sheffe test was used. The .05 level was in established in significance. The findings of this study were as follow; 1. In the characteristics of body compositions, health group was significantly lower than non-exercise group in body weight, total body fat, % fat and body mass index and lower than aerobic-dance group. Not significantly different among three groups in lean body mass. 2. In the femoral bone density, aerobic-dance and health groups were not significantly different among three groups in non-exercise group, and not different at all regions in non-exercise group between dominant and non-dominant formula. 3. In the characteristics of non specificity exercise effect, aerobic-dance group was significantly higher than health group and non-exercise group in the body, mind, nerves.

        <i>In vitro</i> and <i>in vivo</i> evaluation of a novel polymer-free everolimus-eluting stent by nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide film deposition

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Inflammation and thrombosis are linked to the use of polymer-based drug-eluting stents (DES). The aim of this study was to develop a polymer-free everolimus (EVL)-eluting stent using nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide (N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>) and verify its efficacy by <I>in vitro</I> and <I>in vivo</I> assessment in a porcine coronary model. Various analytical approaches such as scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy, electron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectrometry and contact angle measurement were employed for the characterization. As a part of biocompatibility assessment, platelet adhesion and smooth muscle cell (SMC) proliferation were examined. Bare metal stent (BMS), N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> stent, everolimus-eluting N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> (N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>-EVL) stent, and commercialized EVL-eluting stent (EES) were randomly placed in forty coronary arteries in twenty pigs. After four weeks of implantation, the stents were subjected to histological and quantitative analysis. The N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> film used in this study was well coated without any cracks or peeling. Surface hydrophilicity (88.8% of angle decrement) could be associated with the decrease in surface roughness post N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> deposition (37.0%). The platelet adhesion on the N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> surfaces was less than that on the BMS surface. The proliferation of SMC was suppressed in the N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>-EVL group (30.2%) but not in the BMS group. In the animal study, the percent area restenosis was significantly decreased in the N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>-EVL group compared to that in the BMS group. The results (BMS; 47.0 ± 11.00%, N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB>-EVL; 31.7 ± 10.50%, and EES; 29.1 ± 11.21%, <I>n</I> = 10, <I>p</I> < 0.05) were almost at par with those of the commercialized EVL-eluting stent. The introduction of N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> deposition during fabrication of polymer-free DES may be an efficient accessorial process for preventing in-stent restenosis and thrombosis.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> surfaces can help to reduce the platelet adhesion. </LI> <LI> In porcine model, N-TiO<SUB>2</SUB> everolimus decreased in-stent restenosis and fibrin deposition. </LI> </UL> </P>

      • 본교 신입생의 자아개념 특성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of the study is to investigate characteristics in self concept of the fresh-man in Youngin University, 1993. The study revealed conclusions as followings ; 1. Scores of freshmen are 5 points higher as compared with norm in sum of self-positiveness, self-identification, physical concept, and personality-concept, while total variability scores are 4 points lower in the above sections. This results reveal that the freshman in the University perceive themselves positive in physical concept and personality concept with high self-esteem whereas students in the 2nd, 3rd, and 3th year in school show self-defense and low consistency. 2. In the average scores of 14 factors, students in the school of physical education get higher scores in most of factors whereas those in the school of art and the school of natural science get lower scores. Getting high scores in self-behavior and physical self-seems to have close relations to the characteristics of the University which has developed with strong emphasis on sports science and martial arts. 3. Differences in 5 of 14 factors are revealed among 3 departments in the school of physical education, while few differences are revealed in the rest of schools. Results in detail were discussed in the study. And, finallly, implications and suggestions for further study are discussed.

      • 고형배지의 종류가 수경재배 멜론의 품종별 과실의 생육과 품질에 미치는 영향

        In order to examine how growth substances influence to fruit growth and its quality, we cultivated 3 different kinds of melons which grown in hydroponic system into 3 different types of growth substances, such as perlite, perlite/rock wool and rock wool/perlite. In this experiment, “Siroi Kagayaki”, showed no significant difference in fruit weight and its diameter in any of growth substances, but higher in plant height in perlite/rock wool than Perlite. In case of “TS-1806”, there were no significant differences in soluble solids, fruit weight and diameter in all the substances. However, it showed longer in fruit length in rock wool / perlite than that in perlite/ rock wool. In addition, the soluble solids in placenta and flesh were higher in perlite than those in rock wool/perlite.

        친환경 주거단지개발을 위한 제도적 개선방안에 관한 연구 : 공동주택 재건축을 중심으로

        Construction of high-rise housing has been increased focusing on the metropolis in Korea since late 1990's, and it is recently evaluated as an independent area in housing. However, it involves various problems legally and systematically because of the short history in high-rise housing, in spite of increase in interest and business related to it. It has been evaluated by many countries in the world that the development in high-rise housing efficiently uses a land and reorganizes townscape as well as it solves housing problems in overpopulated cities. The demand for high-rise housing is also increasing in Korea as well as the development of housing complex on a large scale. This research is to propose an active plan for environment-friendly apartment construction, which is desirable to the regional characteristics in terms of urban-architecture, by analyzing the effect of density limit in development and its characteristic through understanding problems in growth of cities caused by restraint of reconstruction, investigating on the low-building coverage ratio for activating reconstruction and the system in high~rise reconstruction, and researching on examples. Recently, housing environment in Korea is becoming higher, more complicated and larger. We need a plan for improvement in high-rise housing in terms of techniques, politics, economy and system complying with reconstruction by recognizing essential problems generated in the course of change in housing. In addition, it is estimated that the quality of living environment will be improved in architecture, cities and people living in there, if it is applied flexibly to the area having infrastructures such as roads, subways and public facilities. Therefore, we should establish the more realistic and applicable standard and prepare a basis for low-building coverage ratio and high in housing pattern such as eased setback regulation on roads and its adjacent area, right to daylighting, height and floor space index.

      • 톡소포자충 감염마우스의 Cytokine 및 Heat shock protein 생산 분석

        T. gondii frequently causes severe congenital defects and life-threatening disease in immunocompromised individuals. Cytokines. nitric oxide (NO) and heat shock proteins (HSP) are important to control the parasite multiplication and host resistance. However. there were only fen reports about HSP70 in toxoplasmosis. Moreover. we do not know the cytokines and HSP70 production in case of NO inhibition. Therefore. this study was performed to analyze the production of NO. HSP70 and cytokines after adminstration of aminoguanidine (AMG. suppressor of NO production) in mice infected with T. gondii. BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice were injected with either 5 brain cysts of Me49 strain of T. gondii or 50㎍ of AMG for 2 weeks every day. and then mice were sacrificed at day 4. 7. 14 and 28. HSP70 production in the brain and spleen of both mice strains mere decreased after treatment with AMG. however Toxoplasma-infected ones were significantly increased. HSP70 production of Infection/AMG-treated group of C57BL/7mice was significantly decreased in comparison to Infection group. Whereas Infection/AMG-treated group of BALB/c mice showed similar HSP70 production compared to Infection group. After T. gondii infection. the IFN-γ and TNF-α mRNA expression in the brain and spleen was significantly increased in BALB/c or C57BL/6 mice. IFN-γ mRNA expression in the brain and spleen of Infection/AMG-treated BALB/c mice were not significant differences compared to those of infected ones. however there were significant differences in the spleen of C57BL/6 mice. TNF-α mRNA expression in the spleen of Infection/AMG-treated BALB/c or C57BL/6 mice were significantly decreased in comparison to those of infected ones. Taken together. HSP70. IFN-γ and TNF-α production were significantly increased in Toxoplasma-infected BALB/c and C57L/6 mice. After treatment with NO inhibitor in infected C57BL/6 mice, the production of HSP70 and IFN-γ were significantly decreased. whereas BALB/c mice were not significant differences of HSP70 and IFN-γ production between Infection and Infection/AMG-treated group.

        품종별 감꽃 동결건조 분말의 유효성분 분석

        감 품종별(도근조생, 고종시, 갑주백목, 차랑, 월하시, 상주둥시)로 감꽃을 개화기에 채취하여 동결건조 분말화한 감꽃분말에 함유된 유효성분을 분석, 비교하였다. 조지방 함량은 도근조생이 57.26%로 가장 높은 값을 보였으며, 유리당 조성은 fructose가 95~310 mg%, glucose는 75~281 mg%, sucrose가 7~28 mg%의 함유량을 나타내었고, 유기산 중 malic acid가 갑주백목(6월4일)에 225 mg%로 가장 많았고, tartaric acid도 189 mg%로 가장 많았다. 유리아미노산 중 hydroxy-L-proline은 월하시에 25.33 mg%, L-citrulline은 상주둥시(5월28일)가 58.83 mg%, L-threonine은 상주둥시(5월28일)가 11.88 mg%로 가장 많았다. 페놀산으로 caffeic acid는 갑주백목(6윌4일)이 1946 μg/100 g, phydroxybenzoic acid는 상주둥시(5월29일)가 417.8 μg/100 g, protocatechuic acid는 갑주백목(6월1일)이 181.1 μg/l00 g으로 가장 많았다. 따라서 감꽃에도 감이나 감잎에 못지않게 유용한 식품성분들과 기능성 성분들이 다량 함유되어 있어 새로운 식품 및 기능성 신소재로서의 가치가 매우 높다고 할 수 있다. This study was carried out to analyze useful components in freeze-dried persimmon flower powder made from six cultivars. The cultivars were Dogunjosang, Kojongsi, Kabjubaekmok, Chalang, Weolhasi and SangjuDungsi. Powder of persimmon flower was prepared by milling after freeze drying at -70℃. Crude lipid was the highest in Dogunjosang (57.26%). Major free sugars of the persimmon flowers were fructose (95~310 mg%), glucose (75~281 mg%)and sucrose (7~28 mg%). Major organic acids were malic acid (225 mg% in Kabjubaekmok (Jun. 4th)) and tartaric acid (189 mg% in Kabjubaekmok (Jun. 4th)). Predominant free amino acids were hydroxy-L-proline(25.33 mg% in Weolhasi), L-citrulline (58.83 mg% in SangjuDungsi (May 28th)) and L-threonine (11.88 mg% in SangjuDungsi (May 28th)). Major phenolic compounds in the persimmon flowers were caffeic acid (1,946 μg/100g in Kabjubaekmok (Jun. 4th)), p-hydroxybenzoic acid(418 μg/100g in SangjuDungsi (May 29th)) and protocatechuic acid(181 μg/100g in Kabjubaekmok(Jun. 1st)). The results suggest that persimmon flowers be potential materials as useful food ingredients.

        공군사관생도의 심폐능력에 따른 심리 · 생리요인 비교

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in psychological and physiological factors between groups by classifying groups based on the 3km running record of fourth grade Air Force Academy cadets. Among the top 46 Air Force Academy cadets who wanted to participate in the study, the study conducted an open survey of the top 13 and the bottom 15 who wanted to provide the data prior to the study. The subjects of the experiment and in-depth interview were studied by a total of 18 people, 9 of each upper and lower members who wished to participate in the study. Psychological factors were structured through inductive content analysis of data extracted from in-depth interviews, and physiological factors were conducted to verify differences between groups of body composition and cardiopulmonary function. The psychological factors of the upper and lower groups were found to be general areas of performance strategy, achievement motivation, emotional response, military spirit, situation perception, and basic physical strength. In the detailed areas, the subjects were also examined in 15 areas including physical fitness indicators, confidence, condition control, task orientation, and positive self-perception. As a result of comparison between upper and lower groups, the upper group was 2.2 times higher than the lower group and the lower group was 1.7 times higher than the upper group in the military spirit and performance strategy of the general area response rate. In general area response, the ratio of mental strength and confidence was different in the general area of military spirit. In addition, the upper group in the achievement motivation showed a high percentage of task tendency at 47%, while the lower group showed a high rate of zero motivation at 50%. In the emotional response, the upper group showed an equal ratio, while the lower group showed an 81% ratio of negative emotions. In the overall response by sub-region, the negative emotions of the subgroup were high at 28%. In the body composition, BFM showed a statistically significant difference between upper and lower groups, and Weight, FFM, and SMM did not show any significant difference between groups. In cardiopulmonary capacity, VO2max showed a statistically significant difference between upper and lower groups, and VE and LT did not show significant differences between groups.

      • 파골세포 활성에 있어 gp130과 PTH의 연관성

        gp130,a subunit for serveral cytokine signal transducing receptors, mediates diverse activities including osteoclastogenesis. In vitro obaervations suggest that PTH also triggers the gp130-mediated signal for bone resorption by stimulating secretion of IL-6,IL-11 and LIF from osteoblast/stromal cells. Though this gp130 signaling is required for full activation of bone resporption by PTH in vitro, the relationship between PTH and gp130 signaling pathway in vitro is not yet clanified. To address the importance of gp130 as a mediator of PTH action in osteoclast activation, the blood ionized calium and blood serum PTH level was investigated in gp130-/- and wild type mice at E18.5 using a CIBA/Coming 634 Ca^+2/pH analyzer and rat intact PTH Kit, respectively.In addition, calium transport efficiency was assessed from gp130 mice at E17.5. The resorptive activity of osteoclasts from intact calvariae by a ^45Ca release assay and the osteoclastic developmental condition in tibiae were also analyzed, respectively.The gp130-/- micerevealed significantly lower ionized calcium level(1.44±0.03 vs1.77±0.03 mmol/ℓ, p<0.001)and significantly higher blood serum PTH(251.8±5.3 VS 20.5±5.3 pg/㎖,p<0.001) compared to wild type littermates.There was no remarkable pathologic change of placenta in gp130-/- and the ^45Ca transport though placenta was accelerated in gp130-/- compared to wild type littermates(%to Het 83%in -/- vs 148% in +/+).The gp130-/- embryos had small skeletons with bones containing little primary spongiosa, and large multinucleated TRAP+ cells along the lower border of the growth plate. Release of ^45Ca from prelableled calvarial bone(E18.5)in response to either 10^-7 M hpTH(1-34)or 20 ng/㎖ sRANKL was lower in gp130-/-calvarial bone compared to gp130+/+ calvarial bone (PTH 1.83±0.6 fold over basal in-/- vs 2.79±0.6 in +/+and sRANKL1.3±0.4 in -/- vs 2.79±0.6 in +/+ and sRANKL1.3±0.4 in -/- vs 2.0±0.4 in +/+,p<0.5). These result strongly support the hypothesis that PTH activates bone resortion,in part, by stimulating ostedtrophic cytokine secretiom from osteoblast/stromal cells, which tirggers gp130-mediated signaling for osteoclastic activation.
