        Antitumor therapeutic and antimetastatic activity of electroporation-delivered human papillomavirus 16 E7 DNA vaccines: a possible mechanism for enhanced tumor control.

        <P>DNA vaccines are known to be lacking in immunogenicity in humans. Presently, electroporation (EP) is thought to overcome this limitation. Here, we investigate whether human papillomavirus 16 E7 DNA vaccines delivered by EP might elicit potent antitumor activity in animal cervical cancer models, with a focus on the underlying mechanism(s). Intramuscular (IM)-EP delivery of E7 DNA vaccines induced more potent antitumor therapeutic and antimetastatic activity compared with IM delivery. Moreover, the tumor-controlled animals by IM-EP possessed long-term memory responses to parental tumor cells. This improved antitumor effect was concomitant with augmented Ag-specific CTL activities. IM-EP also induced IgG and Th-cell responses higher than IM delivery. Finally, IM-EP resulted in more antigen production in and more attraction of immune cells into the site of DNA injection, suggesting that these biological and immunological changes made by IM-EP might be responsible for enhanced CTL activities and antitumor resistance. Thus, this study shows that IM-EP can induce more potent antitumor activity by augmenting CTL responses possibly through more antigen production in and more attraction of immune cells into the muscle sites. This study also suggests that IM-EP of E7 DNA vaccines might be a potential approach toward treating patients with cervical cancer.</P>

        TV 드라마 속 "중년 여배우들"의 패션과 미용요소 분석

        본 연구는 ``미워도 다시한번 2009``(2009년)의 전인화와 최명길, ``즐거운 나의 집``(2010년)의 황신혜, ``마이더스``(2011년)의 김희애를 중심으로 TV드라마 속 중년 여배우들의 패션과 미용요소를 살펴봄으로써 패션의 유행 변화를 파악하고 예측 및 분석하는데 기초자료를 제공하여 중년 여성의 패션과 미용 산업에 폭넓은 발전에 도움이 되고자 하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구방법은 성격분석 및 의상, 헤어스타일, 메이크업, 액세서리 등 드라마 공식 홈페이지 스틸 컷 사진과 드라마 방영 화면을 캡처한 사진 40장을 수집하여 실증적 분석도구로 활용하여 패션과 미용요소들을 분석하였다. 구체적인 사진 선정 방법은 전문가 집단을 대상으로 미용관련학과 교수 2인, 미용학과 대학원생 6인 총 8인을 구성해 패션과 미용요소가 대표성 있는 사진을 선별하였다. 또한 논문의 이론적 배경을 뒷받침하기 위해 인터넷과 문헌연구로는 국내 관련 서적, 논문, 간행물, 문헌자료, 인터넷을 중심으로 논문의 타당성을 증명하였다. 연구 범위는 1장에서 TV드라마의 개념 및 고찰을 하였고, 2장에서는 TV 드라마에 나타난 패션과 미용요소를 2000년대 전반에 걸쳐 알아봄으로 그것들이 단순히 시각적으로 시청자들을 자극하는 것이 아니라 대중들에게 자연스럽게 유행을 주도하고 창조하는 문화적 아이콘으로 선두적 역할을 하고 있다라는 것을 알아본다. 3장인 결과에서는 각 TV드라마에 나타난 중년 여배우들의 패션과 미용요소들을 구체적으로 살펴보았다. ``미워도 다시한번 2009``의 전인화의 패션은 팜므파 탈룩, 미용요소는 스모키 메이크업과 미디엄 레이어길이의 헤어스타일과 업스타일을 하였다. 최명길의 패션은 CEO룩, 미용요소는 매트한 피부질감의 깨끗한 메이크업을 하였으며 헤어스타일은 보브컷을 하였다. ``즐거운 나의 집``의 황신혜는 락시크룩의 패션과 스모키 메이크업과 롱 웨이브헤어스타일을 선보였다. ``마이더스``의 김희애는 패션은 노블레스룩, 미용요소는 내추럴 메이크업과 층이 없는 단발머리 스타일이었다. 4장에서는 결론부분으로 TV드라마 속 중년 여배우들의 패션과 미용요소는 극의 내용을 표현하기도 하지만 그 시대의 유행 트렌드를 반영하기도 하고 중년여성뿐 만아니라 다양한 연령대의 대중들에게 모방심리를 자극하여 유행을 창조하는 등 사회적으로 미치는 영향력이 크다고 할 수 있겠다라고 마무리하였다. The purpose of this study is to help a broad development in the middle-aged women`s fashion and beauty industries by providing basic data to examine, predict and analyze fashion changes throughout fashion and beauty elements of the middle-aged actress in TV drama focusing on Jeon, In-Hwa and Choi, Myoung-Gil of ``Although Is Hateful Again 2009`` (in 2009), Hwang, Sin-Hye of ``Sweet My Home`` (in 2010) and Kim Hee-Ae of ``Midas`` (2011). As a method of the research, the elements of fashion and beauty were analyzed by collecting captured 40 pictures from drama official website steel-cut picture and drama screen as an empirical analysis tool such as analysis of the characteristic, costumes, hairstyles, makeup, accessories. The method to select a specific picture is to select representative fashion and beauty elements picture with the target group of experts such as 2 cosmetic professors, 6 fashion graduate students-total 8 people. In addition, the validity of the thesis was demonstrated focusing on the domestic-related books, papers, publications, literature, internet regarding Internet and Literature Review to support a theoretical background of thesis. Scope of the research is the concept and review of TV dramas in chapter 1 and fashion and beauty elements on TV drama throughout the 2000s plays a leading role to lead and create trend naturally to the public as a cultural icon, not to simply stimulate the audience visually in chapter 2. Fashion and beauty elements of middle-aged actress on TV drama were examined in chapter 3. The fashion of Jeon, In-Hwa of ``Although Is Hateful Again 2009`` (in 2009) is Femme fatale and cosmetic elements are smoky makeup and medium-length hair style and up style. The fashion of Choi, Myoung-Gil is CEO look and cosmetic elements are clean makeup of matt skin texture and the hair style is Bob cut. Hwang, Sin-Hye of ``Sweet My Home`` (in 2010) showed Rockchic look fashion, smoky makeup and long wave hairstyles. The fashion of Kim Hee-Ae of ``Midas`` (2011) is Nobless look and beauty elements are natural makeup and pageboy. In chapter 4, as a result, the fashion and beauty elements of middle-aged actress in a TV drama present information of the drama, but reflect the trend of the times and create the trend by stimulating imitation mind to the public with various ages as well as middle-aged women, thus it impacts on the society heavily.

        혐오발언, 혐오감, 타자로서 이웃

        언어가 우리에게 상처입힐 수 있는가? 혐오발언이 우리에게 상처줄 수 있는가? 혐오발언이 곧 혐오폭력인가? 인종차별, 여성차별, 동성애차별 발언은 곧 차별행동인가? 주디스 버틀러는 그녀의 저서 『혐오 발언』(Excitable Speech)에서 이런질문을 통해 혐오발언이 어떻게 주체를 생산하는지에 집중한다. 하지만 버틀러의 분석은 J. L. 오스틴의 언어이론을 차용한 수사학적인 접근에 한정되어 있다. 버틀러는 혐오발언에 앞서는 혐오 감정은 어디서 기인하는지 언급하지 않는다. 반면 마사 너스바움은 원초적 혐오감이 인간의 취약성에서 비롯되는 것으로 주장한다. 하지만 혐오발언이 어떻게 하면 주체에게 마법적인 주권적 주체로서의 힘을 부여하는지 버틀러는 설명하지 못한다. 따라서 이 글에서는 혐오발언의 수사학적 한계를 지적하면서 그것에 선행하는 상상계적인 혐오감에 주목하고자 한다. 대상관계이론에 따르면, 주체는 자신의 정체성과 자율성을 유지하기 위해 자신의 취약성을 타자에게 투사한다. 주체의 환상 속에서 타자들은 주체가 상실한 쾌락을 은밀하게 누리는 혐오스런 존재가 된다. 이렇게 본다면 혐오감으로 인해 주체와 이웃과의 경계가 그어진다. 마지막으로 이 글은 혐오감으로 형성되는 경계선으로서 타자로서의 이웃에 관해 주목해보고자 한다. Could language injure us? Could hateful speech give wound against us? Do they instantly become violent behaviors? Are they equal to be disgusting action? Are hateful racist, misogynist, and homophobia speech discriminating acts? Judith Butler raises these questions at her book, Excitable Speech. She focuses on how subjects are produced by means of hate speeches. But she uses only rhetorical approaches on the basis of J. L. Austin``s language theories to grasp them. She does not mention from where those disgusting emotions prior to hate speeches are derived. She cannot theorize the psychical process how the magical power of hate speeches makes the individual as a sovereign-subject. According to the object-relation theory, to keep his/her autonomy and identity, subject projects her/his fragility to others. Therefore Martha Nussbaum argues that disgusting emotions are derived from the fragility of human beings. In his/her fantasies, neighbors secretly enjoy their jouissance behind his/her back. This paper focuses on how neighbor as other invented by disgusting emotions and draw borderline between the im/possible coexistence with coercive subjects.

        초·중·고등학교 학생, 학부모, 일반교사의 보건교육 요구

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify needs of health education of the students, parents, general teachers, and health teacher of the elementary, middle, and high schools. Method : 279 schools of elementary, middle, and high school were sampled nonproportionally during the period from June 28 to July 26, 2004 . The data were collected by the questionnaire from 1,888 students, 1,876 parents, 1,695 general teachers, 279 health teachers. A frequency, % and χ2-test were used to analysis by SAS program. Result : 1. It showed that 98.1% of elementary school students, 92.3% of middle school students, 89.6% of high school students answered that they need health education. The most of students, parents, and general teachers had high interests in health education. 2. In the case of students, main causes of needs of health education was 'to prevent diseases or accidents''. But parents answered that it was 'to build up a healthier behavior'. General teachers answered that it was 'more effective systematic and continuous health education'. 3. Over 80% of students, parents, and general teachers about the question of who qualified person is to teach health education as a regular class responded that health teacher is available. Especially 93% of elementary school students answered like that. 4. The most of students, parents, and general teachers answered that health education in the classroom is favorable 1 to 2 hours per week. Conclusion : As results of the study , the majority of students, parents, general teachers agreed needs of health education. Therefore, on the basis of this study, systematic and continuous health education is necessary. Additionally the establishment of independent health subject is required certainly.

        초·중·고등학교 학생·학부모·일반교사의 보건교육 영역별 요구도와 보건교육

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the needs of health education in students, their parents and teachers in the elementary, middle and high schools and the current situation of health education class. Method: The subjects of this study were a total of 9450 persons including students, their parents and teachers from 279 schools throughout the country. They were selected through convenient sampling. Data were analyzed through x^(2)­test and ANOVA. Result: Students, their parents and teachers replied that 18 dimensions of health education class (DHEC) are necessary. The four DHEC - healthier life style, sex education, mental health and safety education - showed high educational needs in students, their parents, and teacher. High school students had higher educational need of 'symptom management for daily living' than elementary and middle school students. Students, their parents and teachers in elementary school had higher educational needs of 17 DHEC that those in middle and high school. The percentages of schools with health education class taught by health teachers were 99.2%, 75.5% and 66.0% respectively in elementary, middle and high schools. Health education was given mainly using physical education classes at elementary schools, and creative class hours at middle and high schools. In general, health education took 1-3 hours per week at elementary schools, and less than an hour at middle and high schools. Conclusion: Therefore, based on the results, systematic health education class should begin from elementary school to meet the need of health education in students, their parents and teachers, and further study should be made on the number of hours required and the amount of contents of 18 DHEC.

        양로원과 요양원 간호사의 업무내용 비교 : 전국의 무료 양로 · 요양시설 중심으로

        Purpose: The study was performed to compare the content of their jobs of the nurses working in the free elderly home with free nursing home in the whole country. Method: The subjects consisted of 138 nurses working in elderly home and nursing home. The data was collected from Jan. 1st to Feb. 22th 2005 using a structured questionnaire that included general characteristics, content of tasks which the nurse dose every day, health program, perceived job satisfaction and pay satisfaction scale. The collected data was analyzed by the SPSS(version 11.5) program including descriptive statistics, x^(2)-test. Result: On the nurses in the free elderly homes and nursing homes, there were many patient diagnosing hypertension, arthritis and dementia. Recently the death rate in elderly home and nursing home was highly increased. The mean period of nurses working in elderly home and nursing home were 3.75 years and 2.76 years. Experience of staying with the elderly was 70.9% on nurses working in elderly home. and 73.2% on nurses working in nursing home. Daily allotment of the nurses working in elderly home and nursing home were health assessment, medication care and eating care. The highest priority rank of nursing care of the nurse working in elderly home and nursing home was health assessment. Mean number of the patient in daily nursing care of the nurse residing in elderly home and nursing home was referral to hospital on 1-5persons/day and then transfer care on 1-6persons/day. The highest health care program was an exercise program. Conclusion: The resident nurses in the free elderly homes and nursing homes have had various types of tasks, and for their security a system for job satisfaction was needed.

        간호실무에서 신봉이론(Espoused theories)에 대한 탐색적 연구

        As a nursing practice involves nurses' actions in a specific context of health care, this study has focused on exploring the espoused theories in nursing practice within the action science perspectives, Espoused theories are the belief, principles, and rationale expressed by the practitioner as guiding her/his actions in a situation of practice. The data were analysed qualitatively and 25 elements of espoused theories of nursing action were identified and clustered into 6 categories. The 25 elements of espoused theories are as follows: The clinical nurse worked in wholistic and individual nursing, focussed on the patient's needed, comfort and supportive nursing (5 theories of nursing goal) ; excellent skills, knowledge based, assessment and data collection, explaining, educating or a scientific basis(6 theories of nursing intervention): advocacy, value oriented, treatment, account- ability and commitment(4 theories of nursing ethics) ; human respect. partnership, trust(3 theories of patient-nurse relationship) : knowledgable, accumulated clinical experiences and personally lived experiences. positive perspectives(4 theories of nurse), role of intervention. rewarding peer relationship(3 theories of situations) The above mentioned espoused theories are similar to that of nursing textbooks which students learned through basic nursing education and almost the same as the Acts ofa Nurse in Korean. However, we are doubtful whether nurses actually do as they think. Therefore. it is recommended to review the theories-in-use in order to and any discrepancies between the espoused theories and the reality of nursing actions

      • 강재에 발생한 균열의 형상에 따른 피로강도

        It was well known that 70-80% of the fracture of steel plate was due to fatigue fracture. A fatigue behvaior of infinite steel plate was examined in this study. The stress concentration phenomenon around the hole in the steel plate was an important factor for the fatigue fracture. The diameter of the holes existing in the steel plate were varied from 0.1mm up to 0.4mm, and the number of hole was 1 and 3 in this study. It was shown that the stress concentration was exponentially increased as the angle of the crack in the plate was decreased. The initial value of stress concentration was smoothly increased as the diameter of hole was when the hole existed in the steel plate logarithmically decreased as the angle of hole was decreased. As a result of this study, it was found that the fatigue strength decreased extreamly when the small hole occurred in the steel plate. Consequently, greate care for fatigue strength should be excercised in designing steel mumbers.
