        Applying Transport Reform Lessons from the Case of Seoul to Hanoi

        To address the complex transport system challenges including accidents, poor air quality, congestion, and insufficient access faced by its rapid urbanization and development, Seoul implemented a comprehensive and integrated “super project” to upgrade its public transportation system and improve its urban spaces for mobility and sustainability. This plan has largely been successful in improving critical measures such as air quality, reducing energy consumption, and increasing the competitiveness of the public transportation system compared to car travel. By pursuing a transit-oriented infrastructure construction program, the city has achieved better efficiency of operations through improved coordination of transport capacity and demand. The plan as well as the steps the Seoul government has taken has set the city on a path towards environmental sustainability. In particular, this report examines how the implementation processes and reforms targeted in Seoul may help address similar challenges currently faced by Vietnam in the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh (HCMC) transport regions.

      • 이동 에이전트를 이용한 망 관리 방법에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 이동 에이전트 시스템을 적용한 망 관리 모델을 제안한다. 이동 에이전트 시스템을 적용한 망 관리 모델은 이동 에이전트가 망 관리 대상으로 직접 이동하여 망 관리 동작을 수행하기 때문에 부하의 분산, 관리 기능의 동적인 추가, 네트워크 오버헤드의 감소 등의 장점을 가지고 있다. 이 같은 장점 때문에 이동 에이전트 시스템을 적용한 망 관리 모델은 기존의 사용되던 중앙집중형 망 관리 모델에서 생기는 여러 문제점을 보완할 수 것으로 기대된다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 제안된 이동 에이전트 시스템을 적용한 망 관리 모델과 중앙집중형 망 관리 모델의 성능 분석을 통하여 두 시스템의 효율성을 비교 평가하였다.

        The purpose of this paper is to study for the electric car using manufacturing technique. It made the single-seater personal vehicle running on road by applying the electric car system. The first, it seek to minimize the deflection using profile method that was fixed with jig instrument. The second, it improved the electric car power composed the regenerative braking system by applying the generator using in wind-generation. The third, resulting test the controller, it could certify the stability driving and manufacture side of car. The fourth the gear ratio of power-train of sprocket knew that was very good at 4.5:1 by driving test. The fifth, the driver could confirmed the durability and driving stability after installing the steering, suspension, brake and tire and wheel system.

        The purpose of this paper is study and analysis the failure examples for tribological characteristics of automotive steering system. When the revolution of inner tie-rod and ball joint is bad, the steering wheel is difficult for action. Decreasing this condition, the driver must inhibit non-pavement and abnormality road riding. Also, resulting sticking phenomenon identification by oil leaking of oil power steering pump, the driver must keep not only riding condition of normal road but also thoroughly vehicle management according to inspection period. Finally, to decrease failure of system by damaging of power steering belt, the belt have to preserve profit tension.

      • 미국 조지아주에서 운행되는 자동차의 엔진오일관리에 대한 운전자 성향고찰

        This paper is to study the driver’s tendency including with engine oil of a car driven in America Georgia State. When the researcher inspected the engine oil with using engine oil level gauge, he knew the decreasing of engine oil. So he certified the phenomenon that it leaked from sealant part of engine front case as lifting his car. In general, the service manager of service center of automotive maker or service shop recommended for driver to exchange engine oil per 5,000mile. Therefore, the researcher replaced the engine oil five times in a 5,078~5,500mile according to driving distance. In survey, at first after buying new car, the engine oil replacement was investigated with 55% for 5000mile running distance, 59% for 5000mile exchanging the oil in the second. As in were, it seeked that drivers were to manage conservative method comparing with engine oil exchange period of car maker. In the America Georgia state, it certified that the manager of car maker and service shop proposed the period of engine oil change with 5,000miles more earlly owner’s manual that commendeded with 7,500~10,000mile. It analyzed that the market construction of America was to invigorate the economy by boosting consumption comparing with economizing resources in Korea.

        This paper is to study and analyze for manufacturing of a vehicle using with 125㏄ engine. The first, we made the manufacture a car using with material of the carbon steel pipe that was 27㎜ in a diameter and 2.9㎜ on thickness. But all frame manufacture of a car as knuckle and power-train system made the same pipe, the acceleration power of a car was very disadvantage driving. Therefore this problem must improve accurately. The second, the sprocket teeth ratio of power-train system adjusted on 4.61:1 that the number of tooth processed with 13 tooth on small gear and 60 tooth on large gear. It verified the fact that the gear ratio did to optimize the driving condition on kunsan contest in 2015. The third, the suspension in chassis system softly controlled the hardness of front side and stiffly adjusted the damping force of rear shock absorbers. It was knew for the driver to advantage driving his a car. The steering system largely could make better use of a space when moving in front of pedal. Also, the brake system was improved to distribute the accurate brake force by two clutch master cylinder.

      • 자동차 도장 시스템의 트라이볼로지적 특성에 관한 불량 사례 연구

        In recent, the automotive makers have produced the vehicles of many colours that chose by many people. But, if the beautiful painting parts on vehicle appear the variation of paint film by inferiority of paint and chemical effecting, they will be taken the bad influence because of a falling- off in quality. In this paper, the several examples produced in the field identified the fact that give large effect for paint system. The viscosity of coating material affect with paint film formation. When the paint part doesn't make uniform paint film because of lowering viscosity, it made identified inferiority phenomenon by running of paint. The adhesive property of paint surface is affected with roughness. It become so rough that well absorb the coating material. As a result, the researcher certified the phenomenon of orange peel that is collected with certain parts by paint film clod. When the researcher is adhered an alien substance adhesive with paint part during driving in the local where a pollutant contain in air, he identified the inferiority example of paint film because of chemical changing. When the driver keep his car for long time in a garage where is cut the air flowing, he certified the blistering phenomenon of paint film.

        연구망에서 가상네트워크 통합제어플랫폼 구현 및 실험

        네트워크 가상화 기술은 NaaS (Network as a Service) 또는 SDN (Software Defined Network)으로 불리는 서비스 지향 아키텍처를 추구하는 미래인터넷에서 중요하게 다루고 있는 연구 분야이다. 네트워크 가상화는 혁신 적인 프로토콜들에 대한 상호 독립적인 시험이 가능한 네트워크 테스트베드 구축 기술로서 미래인터넷 연구에서 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단일 도메인의 중소규모 연구망에서 네트워크 가상화를 통해 사용자가 정의하는 토폴로지와 대역폭을 제공하여 다중 사용자의 서비스 트래픽들을 분리, 관리함을 목적으로 하는 제어프레임워크를 제안한다. 본 프레임워크(VIMS; Virtual network Integrated control and Management System)는 이기종의 가상네트워크 장비 제어평면을 수용함으로써 장비에 변경을 요하지 않고 확장할 수 있는 구조를 지닌다. KOREN (Korea advanced REsearch Network)에 적용, 실현 가능성을 확인하였으며 GENI의 제어 프레임워크와 비교를 통해 본 프레임워크와의 차이점과 개선을 위한 향후 연구 방향을 도출한다. Network virtualization technology is a crucial research issue of Future Internet which pursues a service-oriented architecture so-called NaaS (Network as a Service) or SDN (Software Defined Network). Network virtualization is expected to play an important role in Future Internet researches as a network testbed technology which enables innovative protocols to be experimented independently on a common testbed environment. We propose a control framework in order to provide user defined topology and bandwidth services with network virtualization and to separate and manage multiple-user traffics in a small and medium scale - single domain research network. The proposed framework (VIMS; Virtual network Integrated control and Management System) supports testbed expansions without any changes of heterogeneous virtual network support equipments through accommodation of each equipment"s control plane. The framework shows a feasibility through applied to KOREN and we describe the differences and further study directions for improvement the framework comparing with GENI control framework.

        지역 환경분야 이해당사자 인식을 반영한 생태계서비스 우수지역 분석 - 안산시를 대상으로 -

        생태계서비스의 개념을 적용한 공간계획을 수립하기 위해서는 생태계서비스 우수지역 파악하고, 이를 관리하는 것이 필요하다. 생태계서비스가 주변보다 높은 지역을 의미하는 생태계서비스 우수지역 평가와 지도화는 생태계서비스를 효과적으로 관리하는데 필요한 정보를 제공한다. 지역 환경분야 이해당사자들의 인식을 반영한 우수지역 평가는 지역에서 관리가 필요한 우선지역을 파악하는데 용이하다. 본 연구는 안산시를 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하여 조절서비스별 가중치를 산정하고, 이를 반영하여 조절서비스 우수지역을 파악하였다. 환경분야 이해당사자 분석결과, 조절서비스의 중요도는 수질조절, 대기조절, 침식조절, 기후조절의 순서로 나타났다. 생태계서비스 우수지역은 주로 안산 북동부에 위치한 산림지역에서 나타났다. 이해당사자 가중치를 반영한 경우에도 우수지역의 공간분포는 유사하게 나타났다. 환경 분야 이해당사자 인식을 반영한 생태계서비스 우수지역 평가는 지역에서 생태계서비스 관리정책 수립 시 의사결정지원도구로서 활용될 수 있다. Identification and mangement of ecosystem service hotspots are necessary to set environmental policies that include concepts of ecosystem service. Assessment and mapping of ecosystem service hotspot referring areas with high amount of ecosystem services provide essential information to manage ecosystem services effectively. Assessment of hotspots based on regional environmental stakeholders’ perception is an useful approach to identify priority areas where management practices are required. This study estimated weights on regulating ecosystem services from regional environmental stakeholders’ surveys in Ansan, and then, identified regulating service hotspots with weights. The result indicated that regulating services are, in order of importance, water quality, air quality, erosion, and climate control. The north-eastern forest of Ansan was mainly revealed as an ecosystem service hotspot. Ecosystem service hotspots were spatially distributed similarly regardless of environmental stakeholders’ weights. Identification of ecosystem service hotspot with environmental stakeholders’ perception can be applied in decision-support tools for ecosystem service management.

      • Analysis of physical requirements for simple three-qubit and nine-qubit quantum error correction on quantum-dot and superconductor qubits

        <P>The implementation of a scalable quantum computer requires quantum error correction (QEC). An important step toward this goal is to demonstrate the effectiveness of QEC where the fidelity of an encoded qubit is higher than that of the physical qubits. Therefore, it is important to know the conditions under which QEC code is effective. In this study, we analyze the simple three-qubit and nine-qubit QEC codes for quantum-dot and superconductor qubit implementations. First, we carefully analyze QEC codes and find the specific range of memory time to show the effectiveness of QEC and the best QEC cycle time. Second, we run a detailed error simulation of the chosen error-correction codes in the amplitude damping channel and confirm that the simulation data agreed well with the theoretically predicted accuracy and minimum QEC cycle time. We also realize that since the SWAP gate worked rapidly on the quantum-dot qubit, it did not affect the performance in terms of the spatial layout.</P>
