In this study, an investigation was performed on the mechanical properties of the natural-fiber-composite structure. The specimen was manufactured using the Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM) method. The flax-fiber materials were adopted for the natural fiber composite, and vinyl-ester resin was also adopted. After a manufactured specimen was obtained, a mechanical test was carried out. The mechanical properties of the experiment results were compared with those of the natural-composite data cited from a number of other references.

In this study, damage assesment and repair technique of aircraft adopted on Sandwich composite structure were performed. The sandwich composite structure were damaged by drop weight type impact test machine. The damaged sandwich composite structure was repaired using external patch repair method after removing damaged area. This study presents comparison results of the experimental investigation between the impact damaged and the repaired specimen.

In this study, structural design and analysis of a duct stand for blowers were performed. This structure was an axial fan and blower for wind tunnel of the vehicle environmental test chamber. The design of the blower duct stand support structure was performed by investigation on various loads. Additionally, self-weight of the motor and weight of the duct were investigated and applied. The duct stand structure was designed by analyzing the load. The safety of the structural design results was evaluated through finite element analysis. Finally, the safety of the design result was verified.
