Multicultural Education’s Paradigm Shift : Stick to the basics and its better functioning
Hyunsub Choi 인하대학교 다문화융합연구소 2020 다문화와 교육 Vol.5 No.2
This article is based on wish for new future that we can be appreciated by future generations for overcoming numerous challenges and crises that the global village is facing due to COVID-19. The exploration of multicultural education’s paradigm shift is discussed in two categories. The first category is to research the prerequisites for investigation of new multicultural education paradigm. Here, five prerequisites(overcoming immediate challenges of the global village, good finality, optimum field operation tool, high quality intellectual and democratic citizen education, practical and qualitative outcome creation) are discussed. Another category is to explore the goals and tasks of better multicultural education’s paradigm. The discussion here is divided into everyone’s better dignity and prosperity, high quality operation of diversity and systematization of field-friendly social intelligence, and more faithful operation of school multicultural education and more thorough partnership cooperation.

This paper deals with a walking intent detection algorithm for paraplegic patients using a robotic exoskeleton walking assistant with crutches. User intent detection is one of the most important factors for a robotic exoskeleton to recognize a user’s intent regarding robot operation and in order to conduct proper operation. For a robotic exoskeleton walking assistant, walking intent detection means that the robot recognizes the best time to start walking behaviors and which behavior should be executed from the user’s intent. To enable this detection, an algorithm derived from a finite Moore Automaton for Robot Behavior (MARB) has been developed. Also, a walking stability criterion model is presented for use in the proposed algorithm as a trigger signal for walking. The proposed algorithm and the walking stability criterion modeling were verified using the robotic exoskeleton walking assistant, ROBIN.

In order to adopt appropriate shift pattern to object vehicle, shift patterns should be revised by various road environment. However, too much time and money is spent in utilizing handmade procedure. The objective of this study is to develop the method which automatically can make base patterns and tuned patterns and to prove some advantages.
Near-ML MIMO Detection Algorithm With LR-Aided Fixed-Complexity Tree Searching
Hyunsub Kim,Jangyong Park,Hyukyeon Lee,Jaeseok Kim IEEE 2014 IEEE communications letters Vol.18 No.12
<P>In this paper, we propose a low-complexity multipleinput multiple-output (MIMO) detection algorithm with lattice-reduction-aided fixed-complexity tree searching which is motivated by the fixed-complexity sphere decoder (FSD). As the proposed scheme generates a fixed tree whose size is much smaller than that of the full expansion in the FSD, the computational complexity is reduced considerably. Nevertheless, the proposed scheme achieves a near-maximum-likelihood (ML) performance with a large number of transmit antennas and a high-order modulation. The experimental results demonstrate that the performance degradation of the proposed scheme is less than 0.5 dB at the bit error rate (BER) of 10-5 for a 8 × 8 MIMO system with 256 QAM. Also, the proposed method reduces the complexity to about 1.23% of the corresponding FSD complexity.</P>

Shift pattern in automatic vehicles is usually revised by actual vehicle driving which includes some information such as traction force, driving cycle, throttle opening. In order to adopt appropriate shift pattern to object vehicle, base map of shift pattern should be fixed by various road environment. However, too much time and money will be spent in utilizing handmade procedure. In this study, tuning software of auto-cruise shift pattern can calculate base map of shift pattern prior to actual or vehicle calibration. Velocity samples, cruise signals, incline values are selected from driving cycle. Then, shift patterns nearing samples can be updated by tuning logic. Appropriate driving sample can change one of shift patterns which are up or down-shift pattern.
