        다양한 레진시멘트로 합착한 섬유포스트의 결합강도 비교

        이 연구는 다양한 접착시스템을 사용하는 6가지 레진시멘트를 이용하여 근관에 합착한 섬유포스트를 push-out 검사에 의해 포스트와 치근 상아질 간의 결합강도를 상호 비교하기 위하여 시행되었다. 발거된 하악 소구치의 치관부를 제거하고 치근부를 근관충전한 후 9 mm의 포스트 룸을 형성하였다. 사용된 레진시멘트의 종류에 따라서 무작위로 6개씩 선택하여 Duo-Link 군 Variolink Ⅱ 군, Panavia F 군, Multilink Automix 군, RelyX Unicem 군, Maxcem 군으로 분류하였다. 제조사의 지시에 따라서 각각의 레진시멘트를 Uni-dose needle tip을 이용하여 근단부에서부터 주입하여 광투과성 섬유 포스트인 no. 2 DT Light Post를 근관에 합착하였다. 증류수에 24시간동안 보관한 후, 주수 하에 저속의 Diamond Wheel Saw를 이용하여 각 치근을 횡단면으로 1 mm두께로 절단하여 연속적인 절편 6개를 얻었다. 각 군의 시편을 universal testing machine에 고정하고 push-out 검사를 시행하여 push-out 강도를 통계 분석한 결과, 서로 다른 접착시스템을 사용한 레진시멘트 군 간의 push-out 강도는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다 (p>0.05). The purpose of this study was to compare the push-out strength of a fiber post cemented with various resin cements. Newly extracted 36 human mandibular premolars which had single root canal were selected and their crown portions were removed. The root canal was instrumented using PROTAPER^(TM) system and obturated using continuous wave technique, In each root, a 9-mm deep post space was prepared. #2 translucent fiber post (DT Light post, Bisco Inc., Schaumburg, IL, U.S.A.) was cemented using injection technique with Uni-dose needle tip (Bisco) and six different resin cements. The tested resin cements were Duo-Link(Bisco Inc., Schaumburg, IL, U.S.A.), Variolink Ⅱ (Ivoclar-Vivadent AG, Schann, Liechtenstein), Panavia F (Kuraray Medical Inc., Okayama, Japan), Multilink Automix (Ivoclar-Vivadent AG, Schann, Liechtenstein), RelyX Unicem (3M ESPE Dental Products, St. Paul, MN, U.S.A.), and Maxcem (Kerr Co.,CA, U.S.A.). After storage in distilled water for 24 hours, each root was transversally sectioned into approximately 1-mm thick sections. This procedure resulted in 6 serial sections per root. Push-out test was performed using a universal testing machine (EZ Test, Shimadzu Co.) with a crosshead speed of 1 mm/min. The data were analyzed with one-way ANOVA and Tukey HSD (p=0.05). The push-out strength of the groups which cemented fiber post with Panavia F and Multilink Automix were lower than those of the other groups. But, there were no statistically significant difference among groups at a probability level of 0.05.

        Comparison of Proteome Components of Helicobacter pylori Before and After Mouse Passage

        The mouse model is alleged to be a useful tool for understanding of pathophysiological roles of Helicobacter pylori in the development of gastric disorders. However, it has been observed that H. pylori strains significantly differed in their fitness in mice and even mouse strains differed in their susceptibilities to a H. pylori strain. Bacterial components of H. pylori which could affect on its fitness in mice have to be elucidated for the establishment of the mouse model for H. pylori infections. In the comparison of colonization ability between two H. pylori Korean isolates, 51 (isolated from a patient with duodenal ulcer) and 52 (isolated from a patient with gastric cancer), 52 could colonize better than 51 on the gastric mucosa of mouse. Proteome components of H. pylori 52, as a good colonizer and H. pylori 51, as a poor one were quantitatively compared each other. Five bacterial proteins including catalase, urease subunit alpha/beta, enolase and ferritin, were up-regulated in 52. In addition, the respective proteome components of the two strains were also compared with their mouse-passaged homologous strains. Seven and five proteins, which included catalase, flagellin A/B in common, were up-regulated in mouse-adapted 51 and 52, respectively. Among the fourteen identified proteins, urease subunit alpha/beta, flagellin A/B, catalase, ferritin, superoxide dismutase and neutrophil-activation protein have been previously known to be necessary to gastric colonization of H. pylori in animal models. The other up-regulated proteins including enolase, elongation factor Tu and fructose-bisphosphate aldolase have been reported to be associated with acid tolerance of H. pylori. These data provide confirmatory evidence for the importance of those proteins in the development of H. pylori-associated gastric disorders.

      • A형 간염의 자연항체와 예방접종을 통한 항체 생성률의 역가 비교분석

        2008년부터 A형 간염 환자들이 급속히 증가하고 본원에 내원하여 건진을 받는 대부분의 수검자들이 A형 간염(IgG) 항체 생성 유무에 관심이 많아지며 검사 건수가 증가하였다. 그에 따라 항체 검사결과가 cut-off값에 걸리는 검체가 많아져 원인을 분석하였더니 대부분 A형 간염 예방접종을 한 수검자들이었다. 이에 저자들은 건강증진센터에서 설문조사를 통하여 자연면역을 획득한 수검자들 그룹과 본원에서 A형 간염 예방접종(1차, 2차)을 실시한 직원들 그룹으로 나누어 검사를 시행하였고 cut-off값을 기준으로 항체 생성률과 그에 대한 역가를 비교하고 진단검사의학과와 핵의학과에서 사용하는 진단 시약간에 항체 생성률과 그에 대한 역가를 비교해 보고자 했고, 2012년 8월 한 달 동안 건진 수검자 185명을 설문조사하여 자연면역을 획득한 119명과 본원에서 예방 접종을 실시한 직원들을 대상으로 1차 접종자 53명, 2차 접종자 59명으로 대상을 분류했다. 항체 생성률은 cut-off값 1을 기준했을 때 0.90-1.10 (${\pm}$), 0.60-0.89 (1+), 0.30-0.59 (2+), 0.01-0.29 (3+)로 나누어 역가를 비교하고, 같은 기준으로 제조사별 백신 접종 후 항체 생성률에 대한 역가를 비교평가 해 보았다. 그 결과, 건진 수검자 중 자연 면역을 획득한 수검자는 cut-off값 1을 기준했을 때, 0.90-1.10 (${\pm}$)가 0%, 0.60-0.89 (1+)가 0%, 0.30-0.59 (2+)가 4.2%, 0.01-0.29 (3+)가 96%로 역가가 <0.60 ($${\geq_-}2+$$)가 100%였다. 그리고 예방접종을 실시한 직원들의 항체 생성률은 1차 접종자 중 ${\pm}$가 59.1%, 1+가 18.1%, 2+가 18.1%, 3+가 4.6%로 총 45.3%였고, 역가는 $${\geq_-}$$ 0.60 ($${\leq_-}1+$$)가 77.3%였다. 2차 접종자의 항체 생성률은 ${\pm}$가 1.9%, 1+가 15.4%, 2+가 36.54%, 3+가 46.2%로 총 88.1%였고 역가는 <0.60 ($${\geq_-}2+$$) 82.7%가 였다. 또한 제조사별로 비교 하였을 때 1차 접종자의 항체 생성률은 BNIBT 20.8% (${\pm}24.5%$), GB 15.7% (${\pm}7.8%$), RIAKEY 94.3% (${\pm}3.8%$), ROCHE 83% (${\pm}0%$), Abbot 73.1% (${\pm}5.8%$)였고, 2차 접종자의 항체 생성률은 BNIBT 86.4% (${\pm}1.7%$), GB 88.5% (${\pm}1.9%$), RIAKEY 100% (${\pm}0%$), ROCHE 98.3% (${\pm}0%$), Abbot 98.2% (${\pm}0%$)였다. 즉 자연면역 항체가 예방접종에 의한 항체보다 역가가 높다는 것을 알 수 있었고, 1차 접종 후 보다는 2차 접종 후 검사를 시행했을 때 항체 생성률과 역가가 대부분 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 결과 보고시 negative, index (${\pm}$), weak positive (1+), positive (2+), strong positive (3+)로 역가를 나누어 보고를 하거나 결과값에 index값을 같이 적어서 결과를 상세히 보고한다면 과거결과와 비교도 가능할 것이다. 또 제조사별 비교 시 1차 예방접종 후의 항체 생성률과 역가에서 시약간에 많은 차이를 보이고 있었고, 매년 예방 접종률이 높아지고 있는 시점에서 이러한 차이를 줄이기 위해서 각 제조사들은 민감도나 재현성에 더 주의를 기울여야 하겠고, 자연면역항체와 예방접종을 통한 항체간에 생길 수 있는 미지의 차이를 감안하여 검사자들이 사용하는 시약을 신뢰할 수 있도록 더 연구하고 개발해야 할 것이다. Purpose: Since 2008, hepatitis A patients was rapidly increasing. So, Most of the health checkup examinees were interested in whether hepatitis A antibody was a lot. thereby The number of tests was increasing. In recent years, Antibody test results in the range of cut-off values were increased. According to the cause analysis, most examinees had a hepatitis A vaccine. This study was conducted to classify hepatitis A antibody as natural antibody and antibody after vaccination and compared the titer for seroconversion rate based on cut-off values. Materials and Methods: For a month in August 2012, First, We surveyed 185 health examinees and classified 119 health examinees who had acquired natural antibody. Second, for employees who were inoculated against hepatitis at our hospital, We classified into 53 primary inoculators and 59 secondary inculators. when the standard of cut-off value was 1, The seroconversion rate was compared the titer divided by 0.90-1.10 (${\pm}$), 0.60-0,89 (1+), 0.30-0.59 (2+), 0.01-0.29 (3+) and we compared the titer for seroconversion rate by each manufacturer after vaccination. Results: When the standard of cut-off value was 1, the titer of 119 health examinees who had acquired natural antibody was 0.90-1.10 (${\pm}$): 0%, 0.60-0.89 (1+): 0%, 0.30-0.59 (2+): 4.2%, 0.01-0.29 (3+): 96% and the titer of <0.60 ($${\geq_-}2+$$) was 100%. The titer of 53 primary inoculators was 0.90-1.10 (${\pm}:59.1%$), 0.60-0.89 (1+): 18.1%, 0.30-0.59 (2+): 18.1%, 0.01-0.29 (3+): 4.6% and the seroconversion rate was 45.3%. The titer of $${\geq_-}0.60$$ ($${\leq_-}1+$$) was 77.3%. The titer of 59 secondary inoculators was 0.90-1.10 (${\pm}:1.9%$), 0.60-0.89 (1+): 15.4%, 0.30-0.59 (2+): 36.54%, 0.01-0.29 (3+): 46.2% and the seroconversion rate was 88.1%. The titer of <0.60 ($${\geq_-}2+$$) was 82.7%. When we compared the titer for seroconversion rate by each manufacturer after vaccination, the seroconversion rate of 53 primary inoculators was BNIBT: 20.8% (${\pm}:24.5%$), GB: 15.7% (${\pm}:7.8%$), RIAKEY: 94.3% (${\pm}:3.8%$), ROCHE: 83% (${\pm}:0%$), ABBOTT: 73.1% (${\pm}:5.8%$) and the seroconversion rate of 59 secondary inoculators was BNIBT : 86.4% (${\pm}:1.7%$), GB: 88.5% (${\pm}:1.9%$), RIAKEY: 100% (${\pm}:0%$), ROCHE: 98.3% (${\pm}:0%$), ABBOTT: 98.2% (${\pm}:0%$). Conclusion: The study show that the titer of natural immune antibodies is higher than the titer of vaccination and the titer of secondary inoculation is mainly higher than the titer of primary inoculation. Consequently, if we know the titer of hepatitis A antibodies, it will help to give resullt reports. And then, when we compared the titer and the seroconversion rate by each manufacturer, There was a very distinct difference. As the test subjects inoculate against hepatitis A (HAV), it is considered BNIBT, GB will occur false negative rate and RIAKEY, ROCHE, ABOTT will occur false positive rate.

        흉부 방사선 치료후 완전방실차단증과 양측 관동맥구 협착증을 보인 1예

        We have experienced a case of radiation-induced coronary biostial stenosis presented with recurrent syncopal attack, which was confirmed by coronary angiography and pathologic findings. A 60 year-old woman was admitted with the symptoms of recurrent syncopal attack. She had a history of radiation therapy of the chest for lung neoplasm 15 years ago. Initial electrocardiogram showed transient high-degree A-V block followed by third-degree atrioventricular block which was associated with syncope. Echocardiography revealed mild aortic regurgitation without left ventricular dysfunction. The coronary angiogram revealed biostial stenosis of coronary arteries. Initial cardiac symptom subsided after temporary pacemaker implantation. She had a coronary bypass graft surgery on both coronary arteries using saphenous vein. Biopsy findings showed mild fibrosis with intimal thickening of coronary artery.

      • A Driving Method of Pixel Circuit Using a-IGZO TFT for Suppression of Threshold Voltage Shift in AMLED Displays

        <P>A driving method of pixel circuit using amorphous indium gallium zinc oxide (a-IGZO) thin-film transistor (TFT) is proposed to improve the image quality of active matrix light-emitting diode displays. The proposed pixel circuit employs a diode-connected structure to compensate for variation in threshold voltage (V-th) of the a-IGZO TFT. In addition, the proposed driving method adopts negative bias annealing to suppress the V-th shift. The annealing time is optimized based on the experimental observation of the minimum V-th shift. After a stress time of 30 000 s, the measurement results showthat the (Vth) shift is reducedby 29.6%, using an optimized annealing time of 5% of one frame time. In addition, the maximum deviation in the emission current using the proposed driving method wasmeasured to be less than 4.32% after a stress time of 30 000 s.</P>

      • Toxicity of Conventional Pesticides Used in Cucumber to lleis koebelei Timberlake (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae: Halyziini)

        This study is the first report about the toxicity of pesticides to the mycophagous predator, I. koebelei, of powdery mildew of agricultural crops. Pesticides we tested are composed of synthetic and environmental-friendly products and being used conventionally for the control of insect or microbial pests on cucumber in Korea. our study was conducted to determine the relative toxicities of several pesticides used in Korea cucumber production to mycophagous natural enemy, I. koebelei and to provide a background for implementation of integrated powdery mildew management programs. Based on IOBC classification, three insecticides, bifenthrin + imidacloprid, acetamiprid + indoxacarb, acetamiprid + etopheprox are classified as having a Class 4 (harmful). Spiromesifen showed the low toxicity to the survival and the fecundity of I. koebelei when this chemical had been exposed to 3rd larva or newly emerged adult via feeding with cucumber powdery mildew. However, pyriproxyfen not only decreased the fecundity of female adult but also strongly prohibited from pupation. Many commercial biological or botanical pesticides can restrict the population of I. koebelei. However, Q pact (a.i. Ampelomyces quisqualis 94013), Top seed (a.i. Paenibacillus polymyxa AC-1), BT one (Bacillus thuringiensis) and Solbitchae (insecticidal microorganism) had no toxicity to I. koebelei when this chemical had been exposed to 3rd larva or newly emerged adult feeding with cucumber powdery mildew.

      • A microfluidic electrochemical aptasensor for enrichment and detection of bisphenol A.

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Bisphenol A (BPA) is an organic monomer used to make common consumer goods such as plastic containers, sports equipment, and cosmetics which are heavily produced worldwide. A growing interest has been drawn to general public as BPA is one of the major endocrine disrupting chemicals threating human health. To date, numerous BPA sensors have been attempted to be developed but important challenges still remained such as limited linearity range, easy to use, and long term response time. To address the present issues, a microfluidic channel should be integrated into an electrochemical aptasensor and it is called Geometrically Activated Surface Interaction (GASI) chip. The vigorous generation of the micro-vortex in the GASI fluidic chamber provides the high collision chances between BPA and anti-BPA aptamer (BPAPT) and consequently more BPA molecules can be captured on the aptasensor surface, which finally results in high sensitivity of the aptasensor. To construct the integrated aptasensor, a miniaturized gold electrode is fabricated using shadow mask and e-beam evaporation process. Afterward, BPAPT is immobilized on a nanostructured gold electrode via thiol chemistry, and other terminus of the aptamer is labeled with a ferrocene (Fc) redox probe. Then, the microfluidic channel is mounted over the miniaturized gold electrode to introduce and enrich BPA to the aptasensor. Upon the specific interaction between BPA and its aptamer, configuration of aptamer is changed so that Fc tag approaches to the electrode surface and direct oxidation signal of Fc and BPA are followed as analytical signals. The unique microfluidic integrated electrochemical aptasensor delivers a wide linear dynamic range over 5 × 10<SUP>–12</SUP> to 1 × 10<SUP>−9</SUP> M, with a limit of detection 2 × 10<SUP>–13</SUP> M. This aptasensor provides a precise platform for simple, selective and more importantly rapid detection of BPA. Such kind of sensing platforms can serve as a fertile ground for designing miniaturized portable sensors.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> GASI generates micro-vortex resulting in enhanced capture of BPA and subsequently enhanced sensitivity of the aptasensor. </LI> <LI> The aptasensor has low LOD, wide linear dynamic range and good response time compared to conventional aptasensors. </LI> </UL> </P>

        수정-IPA를 통한 푸드카빙교육 효용성의 품질속성 분류에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 푸드카빙 교육을 받은 수강생들이 지각하는 푸드카빙 효용성은 어떠한지 살펴보고, 어떠한 효용성들이 있고, 효용성의 품질 속성은 어떠한지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 규명하기 위하여 푸드카빙 교육을 받은 경험이 있는 수강생을 모집단으로 설정하였고, 설문조사는 2020년 7월 20일부터 8월 20일까지 한 달간 진행되었다. 설문지는 총 500부를 배부하였고, 435부가 회수되었고, 불성실한 설문지 38부를 제외하고 397부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 분석결과, 중요 실행 요소로는 푸드카빙 교육은 지루하지 않고, 남녀노소 할 수 있고, 잡생각이 사라지고, 자존감이 높아지고, 자신의 가치가 높아지고, 마음이 편해지고, 우울함이 사라지는 등의 수업 자체에서 오는 만족감의 속성들이 포함되었다. 매력적 요소에는 푸드카빙 기술이 수익으로 연결되고, 강좌를 개설하고, 적은 금액으로 공방을 오픈하는 등의 수익 측면과 관련된 항목들이 포함되었다. 아울러, 기본적 요소에는 집중할 수 있고, 기분이 좋아지고, 자격증을 취득하고, 전문가가 될 수 있다는 측면의 항목들이 포함되었다. 이는 대체로 푸드카빙을 처음 배우는 수강생들이 기본적으로 가지는 목적들이 포함되었다. This study aims to examine the food carving utility perceived by students who received food carving education, the types of the utility, and its quality attributes. To investigate this research purpose, students who had received food carving education were set as a population, and the survey was conducted for one month from July 20 through August 20, 2020. 500 copies of the questionnaire were distributed in total, and 435 copies were collected. 397 copies were used in the final analysis, excluding 38 unreliable copies. As a result of the analysis, important execution factors included the attributes of satisfaction with the class itself, e.g., Food carving education was not boring; it could be done by men and women of all ages; it made cockeyed ideas disappear; it promoted their self-esteem; it enhanced their value; it comforted their hearts; and it made their depression disappear. Attractive elements included revenue-related items, such as food carving skills connected to profits; they could open lectures; and they could open a workshop with little money. Along with this, the basic elements included the following: They could concentrate; they could feel better; they could get a certificate; and they could become an expert. They usually included the purposes the students who would learn food carving for the first time had basically.

Plant Sci. 94: 73-83. Pectin is one of the main components of plant cell walls, and its biosynthesis is controlled by pectin methylesterase (PME). Pectin methylesterase inhibitors (PMEIs) are key regulators of PME. We report here the cloning and characterization of a novel Solanum lycopersicum L. PMEI gene, SlPMEI. RT-PCR studies of leaf, seed, fruit, flower, and flower organs confirmed that SlPMEI is expressed specifically in pollen. Promoter analysis of SlPMEI revealed pollen-specific cis-acting elements (pollen lat52 and g10). In addition, SlPMEI is expressed independently of abiotic stress, pathogen exposure, and growth stage in tomato, and a histochemical analysis of promoter activity revealed pollen-specific expression in both Arabidopsis and tomato. Under the microscope, we observed pollen-specific GUS expression in the stamen of transgenic tomato plant. These results indicate that the promoter of SlPMEI has strong pollen-specific activity, and could therefore be useful for development of industrially and agronomically important transgenic plants. </P>

        Introduction:?Agromyces mediolanus (A.mediolanus) is an unusual pathogen in human infection. No case of peritoneal dialysis (PD)-associated peritonitis by A.mediolanus has been reported. This is the first case report of PD-associated peritonitis by A.mediolanus in the world. We describe a case of PD-associated peritonitis by A.mediolanus that was cured after catheter removal.?Case: A 59-year-old man who had been treated with CAPD was admitted to our hospital because of turbid peritoneal effluent accompanied by constant diffuse abdominal pain. The patient had an exit-site infection with purulent secretion. The laboratory findings showed PD peritonitis: the white blood cell (WBC) count of the peritoneal effluents was 1157/mm3 with a neutrophil predominance (91.3%). Cefazolin and ceftazidime were given intraperitoneally per day. The peritoneal WBC decreased, but the patient’s clinical condition didn’t improve on the 5th day after starting intraperitoneal antibiotics. Culture of the peritoneal dialysate revealed Agromyces species, which was susceptible to meropenem, imipenem, vancomycin, but resistant to ceftriaxone. Thus, we changed antibiotics to intraperitoneal vancomycin and meropenem on the 5th day. Despite the intraperitoneal antibiotics for 4 days, the patient’s abdominal pain persisted and the peritoneal WBC count became elevated. Therefore, we removed the PD catheter and the patient was switched to hemodialysis on the 9th day. Vancomycin and imipenem was continued for another 2 weeks and the patient’s clinical condition improved. The patient has been maintained on hemodialysis.?Conclusions: There is no previous report of peritonitis associated with A.mediolanus in a CAPD patient. In this case, we used intraperitoneal cefazolin and ceftazidime and changed to vancomycin and imipenem according to the result of peritoneal dialysate. However the patient improved after removal of catheter. Therefore, early removal of the PD catheter in A. mediolanus related peritonitis without prompt reaction to antibiotic therapy should be considered.
