From August 2 to 3 in 2017. Koran Arachnological Study members investigated the Spiders in the whole area Incheon Namdong-gu, and reported 14 Families, 38 Genus 50 Species of spiders. The collected spiders are placed (stored) in the Joo-Pil Spider museum.

2016년 3월 31일부터 7월 31일까지 서울특별시 서초구 서초동에 위치한 서울고등학교 교정 일대를 서울고등학교 환경생물부 부원들이 채집 조사한 결과 20과 43속 53종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. From March 31st to July 31st in 2016, members of an environmental biology club at Seoul High School located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Dae-Hee Kim, Dong-Woo Park, Jae-Woong Seo and Hyun-woo Lee, collected 20 families 43 genera 53 species of spiders and report the result of the study here.

항정신병약물을 처음으로 사용하는 초발 정신증 환자에서 나타나는 체중 및 대사성 지표의 변화 : 후향적 연구

Objectives:This study was to identify weight & metabolic changes in first-episode psychotic patients with antipsychotics use and investigate the differences of weight & metabolic changes between first-episode psychotic patients and controls with antipsychotics use. Method:In this retrospective study, twenty eight first-episode psychotic patients and twenty eight controls with schizophrenia, schizoaffective or bipolar disorder defined by DSM-IV criteria were included. Information about demographic and clinical characteristics of the subjects was gathered from the medical records. Also body weight, sBP, dBP, fasting glucose, lipid profile and WBC count were evaluated before and after antipsychotics use. Rogistic regression was conducted to assess factors associated with weight gain. Results:First-episode psychotic patients showed more weight and BMI changes than controls after antipsychotics use, and these changes continue over 12 months. On the other hand, there were no significant factors associated with weight gain. Conclusion:The results of present study suggest that antispychotics is one of the major causes inducing weight gain of psychotic patients and antipsychotics-induced weight gain is more vulnerable to drug-naive first-episode psychotic patients.

조류생산잠재력에 의한 진양호의 생물학적 수질평가

On filtrated and autoclaved water samples from Lake Jinyang, algal growth potential(AGP) test using Selenastrum capricornutum Printz were performed from February, 1999 to October, 1999 in order to assess fertility potential of the lake and to identify possible limiting nutrients. Algal growth potentials of the filtrated and filtrated after autoclaved samples were 0.018 ㎎/ℓ ~9.965 ㎎/ℓ and 0.018 ㎎/ℓ ~28.788㎎/ℓ respectively during surveyed period. AGP of the filtrated after autoclaved were higher than those of the filtrated only except some specific stations. The points of maximum growth were measured after addition of N, P and unenriched samples (control). The limiting factor was nitrogen only at site 5 in spring and phosphate appeared to be the major limiting nutrients in spike test throughout the year, especially during spring and autumn. Accoding to trophic level by Sudo(1980), the water quality of lake Jinyang were estimated mesotrophic at site 2, 4, 5, 6 in spring, at site 3, 6 in summer and at site 6 in autumn but all other sites were oligotrophic. But it is suggested that if we have not manigement of lake Jinyang, the water quality is possible to convert eutrophic.

강진만 일차생산력의 계절변화

강진만 해역의 6개 조사정점을 대상으로 1998년 2월부터 1998년 10월까지 계절별로 이화학적 환경요인과 일차생산력을 측정하였다. 일차생산력은 NaH^14CO_3을 이용한 배양방법을 사용하였고, 조사결과 2.78㎎Cm^-3Hr^-1의 범위를 나타났으며, 계절별 일차생산력의 변화는 하계, 동계, 추계의 순으로 나타났다. 조사정점별로는 강진만의 상류수역에 해당되는 정점 1과 2에 비해 3,4,5 및 6의 조사결과가 크게 나타났다. Chlorophyll a의 분포는 평균 5.16~17.90㎎m^-3를 나타났으며 계절별로는 하계에, 정점별로는 정점4에서 높게 나타났다. 일차 생산력과 Chlorophyll a 의 분포, 수중광도와는 정상관을, 부유물질과는 역상관을 보였으며 강진만의 일차생산력의 변화는 상류수역인 탐진강으로부터 유입되는 담수에 의해 크게 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 생각된다. The primary productivity and physicochemical factors were surveyed seasonally in Gangjin bay from February to October in 1998. The determination of the primary productivity was performed in situ be isotope-method using NaH^14CO_3. The range of primary productivity was 2.78 ㎎C m^-3 hr^-1∼4.92 ㎎C m^-3hr^-1 according to seasons. The primary productivity showed the highest value in summer, followed by those of winter, autumn and spring. The primary productivities of station 1, 2 which are located the upper area, were lower than those of station 3, 4, 5 and 6. The correlations showed that the primary productivity correlated with chlorophyll a, underwater light intensity but reversely correlated with suspended solids. These results suggested that the primary productivity in Gangjin Bay was mainly influenced by the inflow of freshwater from Tamjin River.

국내 의료종사자에서 HHV-8의 항체양성률에 대한 연구

HHV-8 virus is known to be associated with Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) in HIV seropositive patients and its seroprevalence has geographic difference, In South Korea, incidence of KS is low not only in general population but also in HIV patients compared to other countries, It is speculated that low seroprevalence of HHV-8 has contributed to the low incidence of KS in South Korea. We examined the seroprevalence of anti HHV-8 IgG of HIV seronegative health care workers in one University hospital. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was used for diagnosis. One person (0.6% 1/164) was seropositive, six were equivocal (3.7%,6/164) and 157 people were seronegative (95.73%, 157/164). This study revealed that seroprevalence of HHV-8 in general population was. low in South Korea. Further studies are needed to be carried out to evaluate the low HHV-8 seroprevalence in Korea.

오원천의 식물플랑크톤 군집에 대한 연구

We carried out a study on phytoplankton community at Owon stream, Jeollabukdo, Korea. The author have examined 83 taxa of the phytoplankton from researched area. These were composed of 5 classes, 11 orders, 21 families, 44 genera, 79 species, and 9 varieties. The composition of occurrence species were as follows: green algae are 48.2%, diatoms are 33.7%, blue green algae are 10.8% and etc(7.3%). Dominant species were Chlamydomonas angulosa, Pandorina morum, Coelastrum microporum, Scenedesmus quadricauda, Staurastrum gracile, Melosira varians, Me. italica, Synedra ulna, Sy. acus, Cocconeis placentula, and Cymbella tumida. The standing crops varied from 1,650cells/ℓ to 47,000cells/ℓ. Phytoplankton density of Owon stream were lower about 8.6 times to a 1,531 times than those of other lakes and rivers in Korea. So, to preserve the water quality in Owon stream we have to manage continuously on the nitrogen and phosphorus.

섬진강 식물플랑크톤 군집의 계절변화

A survey of phytoplankton community was carried out seasonally from January to September, 2000 at Seomjin river, Jeollanamdo, Korea. The author have examined 158 taxa of the phytoplankton from researched area. These were composed of 6 classes, 14 orders, 33 families, 75 genera, 145 species, and 13 varieties. The composition of occurrence species were as follows: green algae are 42.4%, diatoms are 39.2%, blue green algae are 12.0% and etx(6.4%). Dominant species were Scenedesmus dimorphus, Melosira varians, M,granulata, Fragilaria constuns, Asterionella grasillima, Synedra ulna, Synedra acus, Cymbella affinis, Nitzschia sigma, N.seriata, frustual. The standing crops varied from 2.304 cell/ℓ to 13.056 cells/ℓ in winter and spring, and appeared from 234 cells/ℓ to 6784cell/ℓ in summer and autumn. It was different than general dimictic lake in temperate zone has seasonal change of standing crop. Phytoplankton density of Seomjin river were lower about ten times to a five thousand tines than those of other lakes and river in Korea. So, to preserve the water quality in Seonjin river we have to manage continuously on the nitrogen and phosphorus.

20-30대 무증상 성인에 있어서 채용신검시 나타난 간기능 및 바이러스 간염검사 결과 분석

To determine the distribution of results of liver function test and viral markers for preemployment screening in asymptomatic young adults(twenties and thirties in age group), and also to evaluate the cutoff level of liver function test in deciding repeat follow-up examination. the data from which the first and second repeated examinations for preemployment screening performed during the period from Jan, 1, 1994 to Dec. 31 1994 were analized. The results were as follows: 1. Among 7,855 asymptomatic young adults who were examined, 814 (10.4%) had the abnormal liver function test (10.4% (814/7,855) in male, 0.8% (14/1,707) in female. 2. In 397 male who had repeated follow-up test, 27.2%(108/397) were turned out normal liver function test and 72.8%(289/397) remained abnormal. According to the interval of repeated follow-up test, the longer the interval the higher conversion rate to normal. This can be explained by the effect of treatment of health care, or was dropped from 87.5%(7/8) to 44.2%(23/52) at 401U/dl and that of SGOT was dropped from 80.7%(25/31) to 67.9%(19.28) at 451U/dl which suggest cutoff level to decide repeated follow-up test. This suggest that we can adjust the cutoff level in deciding follow-up examination. 3. Overall positive rates for HBsAg were 5.8%(80/1,561), and 5.9%(80/1,347) in age group 20-29, 4.7%(10/214) in age group 30-39, 6.0%(73/1,214) in male, 4.9%(17/347) in female. Positive rate for HBsAg according to the liver function test was significantly higer in abnormal liver function group than in normal liver function grup (12.7% vs 4.8%). 4. Positive rate for anti-HBs was 32.7% and there were no significant difference between age groups or between liver function groups. 5. Positive rate for anti-HCV was 1.3%(5 in 397 male), actually all 5 were in age group 20-29, among them, 3 had normal liver function test and 2 had abnormal liver function test.
