The study was carried to investigate the effects of a long term calcium upon blood lipid metabolism in athletes, The effects of calcium supplementation and hematological variables which are related to calcium metabolism, Subjects(N=30), who were 30 males of athletes, were randomly assigned to two group(placebo group, N=15, experimental group N= 15. Each subject in experimental group was ingested a tablet containing 500mg of calcium three times a day for 8 weeks. Hematological variable were measured pre and post 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks after the tablets ingestion. The results through the statiscal analysis of blood components, calcium, tatal-cholesterol, HDL-C, LDL-C, Total-cholesterol/HDL-C, in lipid components were as follow; 1) Serum calcium was significantly increased in calcium croup after 2 weeks and maintained through out the entire experimental period(P<0.75), while showed no significant change in placebo group. There were significant differences between two group(calcium croup, placebo group). 2) Total cholesterol was decreased after 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks in Calcium group but there was no significantly decreased in placebo group. 3) LDL-C was significantly decreased in calcium group after 2 weeks and maintained through out the entire experimental period(P<0.05), but there was no significantly decreased in placebo group. There were significant differences between two group(calcium group, placebo group). 4) HDL-C was significantly increased in calcium group after 4 weeks and maintained through out the entire experimental period(P<0.05), while showed no significant change in placebo group. There were significant differences between two group(calcium group, placebo croup). 5) TC/HDL-C was decreased after 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks in calcium group but there was no significantly decreased in placebo croup . There were significant differences between two group (P<0.05).

A control system of dc machine position, speed or current control based on variable structure system approach is presented. The deliberate introduction of sliding mode leads to good dynamic and steady state behavior of the overall system. Amethod of the switching function estimation based on control error and armature current information is proposed. In addition the external torque observer is constructed. The simulation of the proposed control result shows that the system motion is as it was predictioned from theoretical analysis.
스포츠 활동 참여가 생산직 근로자의 직무만족에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine effects of Sport activity Participation of Production Laborers on Job Satisfaction. 380 subjects who had lived in five major cities answered questionnaires. The results were as follows. 1. In proportion of participants to non-participants in sport and leasure activities, the proportion of participants was higher. The most frequently replied answer to the question that how many years have you participated in sport and leasure activities was 3 years. The highest frequency in participation during week-days was 2 3 times. 2. In comparison of personal characteristics of the labores with proportion of participation in sport and leasure activities, sex and marital status were significantly related to participation in the activities. Proportion of continuous participation in sports and leasure activities was higher in males while proportion of participation in the acti vities was higher in females than in males. Age, formal schooling, monthly income and types of job were not significantly related to participation in sport and leasure activities. 3. In comparison of personal characteristics of the labores with job satisfaction, job satisfaction was higher in participants in sport and leasure activities than in non-participants.
Rolandic Cortical Dysplasia : 증례보고 Case Report

The advent of MRI enables us to make an in-vivo diagnosis of cortical dysplastic lesions which are highly epiletogenic and show the variety of seizure patterns. Authors report a case of rolandic cortical dysplasia who had highly intractable focal motor clonic seizures. Invasive recording with subdural grid was very helpful in delinating the epileptogenic area as well as in functional mapping of eloquent areas. Total removal of dysplastic lesion could treat this highly intractable epilepsy successfully.

Oryoungsan which first recorded in Sanghanron, the clinical medical book consists of treating acute febrile disease according to its change, is one of the frequently used oriental medicines. these days, it has been prescribed in symptoms accompanied by edema mostly. therefore it is easy to consider it as a type of diuretics. In Sanghanron it was originally used in the symptoms of perspiration, decreased urine volume, thirsty, flatulence, these symptoms indicate loss of body fluid and the prescription which orders "taking warm water sufficiently" supports this. On this background, it is supposed that Oryoungsan treats dehydration after providing water and electrolytes. To consider that herbal medicines consisted of Oryoungsan make electrolytes go out of the body, The healing mechanism of dehydration doesn't meet this. Because Oryoungsan was used in condition of fever or in similar condition, it is more resonable to understand that restoration of increasing blood flow to the subcutaneous venous plexus regulating body temperature in febrile condition into body circulation, resulting into maintaining main blood volume and into treating decreased urine volume and thirsty is Oryoungsan's function in the dehydration or febrile condition. That is, symptoms are decreased or disappeared through restoring unbalance of internal body fluid. The other target is pain controls, especially chronic headache, facial pain and trigeminal neuralgia, it is suggested that the funciton of pain control of Oryoungsan is related to 5-HT(5-hydroxytrypamine), nerve transmitter in the endogenous analgesic system. Moreover it is also suggested that Oryoungsan is relate to 5-HT, considering the fact that gastroparesis, a symptom of cyclic vomiting syndrome treated with 5-HTID receptor agonist is similar to the 'bi(??)', symptoms appeared in the Oryoungsan-related disease.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of O₃ treatment on daily gain, feed efficiency, mortality and economic analysis in growing pigs. A total of 120 crossed pigs [(Landrace x Large White) x Duroc)] initially averaging 9.65 ±0.15kg body weight were used in this experiment for 58 days. The two treatment were non- O₃(Control treatment) and O₃ treatment, Each treatment had four replicates with fifteen pigs per replicated. There were no significant differences in ADG, although O₃ treatments(0.67kg) tended to have higher ADG than control treatment(0.63kg). A feed efficiency was not affected by the treatments. The mortality rate and disease rate and were lower in the treatment than in the non- O₃ treatment, but each treatment was no significant difference(P< 0.05). The income was higher in the O₃ treatment than in the non- O₃ treatment. In conclusion, the results of the experiments that O₃ treatment could be a beneficial feeding condition for mowing pigs in environmental aspects.

최근 능동 소나에서는 표적의 탐지 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 "높은 시간-대역폭곱"의 파형들을 사용한다. 표적까지의 거리와 표적의 속도를 추정하는 방법으로 FFT-기반 상관관계 기법이 많이 사용되고 있으나, 다중경로 환경에서는 운용자의 요구를 만족하기에 충분한 결과를 나타내지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다중경로 환경에서 직접경로 신호의 도플러 변이와 도달시간의 탐지 정확도를 높이기 위한 새로운 기법을 제안하였다. In modern active sonar, so-called "high time-bandwidth product" waveforms are used to obtain processing gain for improved detection performance. FFT-based correlation processing is used to detect doppler shift for velocity of target and arrival time, but obtained results are not enough to satisfy the operational needs in multipath environment. In this paper, the new algorithm is proposed in order to improve detection accuracy of doppler shift and arriving time of direct path in multipath environment. It is achieved since the replica is made with considering multipath.
