        The purpose of this study is to search appropriate ways to allocate public funds, specially the Korea Culture and Arts Promotion Fund in the field of culture and arts. The korea culture and Arts Promotion Fund should be allocated on the basis of the following critiria. First, the fund should be given higher priority on the area which there are much externalities. Second, the fund also should be given higher priority on the area which lacks sufficient support from the outside organization and individuals such as business mecenat. According to the previous and 2000 national survey on cultural and tourism, suitable and needed area of public support is traditional arts.

        李東垣의 陰火論과 朱丹溪의 相火論의 比較硏究(Ⅱ)

        火에 대한 槪念은 內經에서 言及한 이래 生理, 病理, 運氣的인 側面에서 여러 醫家들에 의해 多樣하게 解析되어지고 있다. 특히 古來의 理論에 얽메이지 않고 豊富한 臨床經驗을 바탕으로 李東垣은 脾胃論의 主要內容으로 '陰火論'를 主張 하였고, 朱丹溪는 歷代 醫家들의 火에 對한 槪念을 整理하여 '相火論'과 '陽常有餘 陰常不足論'을 主張하여 모두 獨特한 火의 理論을 集大成하였다. 後代에 命門學說이 나오기까지 重要한 理論·臨床的 資料를 提示하여 明代의 溫補派와 滋陰派로 集約되어 繼承되어진 東垣의 陰火와 丹溪의 相火에 대하여 歷史·環境的 背景, 槪念, 生理, 病理 및 治法 等을 諸文獻을 通하여 比較 檢討하였다. Through studing historical and environmental background, definition, physiology, pathology and therapy of Li DongWon' theory, Yin-fire, and Zhu DanXi's theory, ministerial fire, the conclusions were obtained as follows. 1. Yin-fire was a expression of debilitating heat induced by shortage of primordial Qi, even though excessive syndrome came out. 2. Ministerial fire is based on the motive power of bowel visceral activity and maintenances of life in physiology. But it is also the noxious factor that means it is the enemy of primordial Qi in pathology. 3. The etiology and pathology of Yin-fire was explained by the deficiency of spleen and stomach's vital energy caused by irregular food, overstrains and emotional stress. 4. It was thought that ministerial fire was caused by excess of emotion, fatty food and sexual intercourse and among theses factors (that gave rise to fire of bowel, visceral and Osungguelyang(五性厥陽), excessive emotion was the most important part. 5. The syndrome of yin-fire were consisted of two groups, ie. damp heat and deficiency of vital energy syndrome. And the syndrome of pathological ministerial fire is similar with the syndrome of fire among Nei-Ching's 19 pathologies, which is rapid and various. 6. Dong-Won emphasized the treating method of supplementing digestive tract and ascending yang by using sweat and warm herbs according symptom. In the other hand, DAn-Xi emphasized the treating method of nourishing yin and relieving fire by using bitter and cold herbs.

      • Al₂O₃-TiO₂ 복합체의 기계적 및 열적 특성에 미치는 MgO의 첨가효과

        Aluminum titanate(Al₂O₃TiO₂ ) was known to low thermal expansions over wide temperature ranges, but showed poor mechanical properties. The present studies have been concerned with the thermal and mechanical properties of aluminum titanate based on the ceramics containing MgO. The addition of MgO powder to Al₂O₃-TiO₂ inhibited the grain growth and this result can be increased sintering density and vickers hardnes s. The thermal expansion of Al₂TiO_(5) increased with the addition of MgO and also increased with temperature up to 1000℃, however, it decreased in the temperature range between 1000℃ and 1200℃ during heating. The test of thermal shock showed that the addition of 10 wt% MgO generated macrocrack of 25%.

      • 유전적 알고리즘을 이용한 근거리 통신망의 위상 설계

        최근에 많은 기업체에서 네트워크 설계 분야에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 본 논문에서 Star-Ring LAN(Local Area Network)상에서 허브(HUB)의 할당과 경로 선택 문제를 취급한다. Star-Ring LAN의 설계는 1)허브들과 사용자 노드 즉, 컴퓨터들간의 연결,2)허브들간의 경로 선택 문제로 나눌 수 있다. 여기서 제안한 수학적 모델은 허브의 설치 비용과 각 노드에서 트래픽의 전송 지연 시간을 고려한다. 그리고, 최적 해를 탐색하기 위하여 경험적 탐색 방법의 하나인 유전 알고리즘(GA:Genetic Algorithm)을 설계한다. 끝으로 본 논문에서 제안된 유전 알고리즘의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 하나의 수치 예를 보인다. Recently, many people are interested in the field of network design again as we know that Intranet environment based on LAN(Local Area Network) is often implemented at many companies. In this paper, we deal with HUB allocation and routing problem on Star-Ring LAN. The design of Star-Ring LAN is divided into two level problems; 1) connecting between HUBs and user nodes(i.e,computers), and 2) routing between HUBs, and delay time due to communication traffic at each node should be considered as the important factors. Also, we investigate GA(genetic Algorithm) as heuristic method to search the optimal solution. Lastly we suow a numerical example to demonstrate good performances of tje proposed method.

      • 납이온이 잔틴 옥시다제 활성에 미치는 영향

        This study was done to determine the effect of lead acetate on the activities of the hepatic cytosolic xanthine oxidase and aldehyde oxidase which were well known as oxygen free radical generating enzyme in vitro. Lead ion accelerated the formation of lipid peroxide and the increment of xanthine oxidase(type O) activity and the type conversion ration from xanthine dehydrogenase to xanthine oxidase dose-dependently. But xanthine dehydrogenase(type D) activity was decreased. Aldehyde oxidase activity was not changed by lead ion. These data suggested that lead-induced cellular toxicity may be concerned partially with xanthine oxidase mediated lipid peroxidation.

        최근에 많은 기업체에서 LAN(Local Area Network)을 기반으로 하는 인터넷 환경을 구축하는 예가 종종 보고되어 지는 것을 보면 네트워크 설계분야에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 논문에서, Star-Ring LAN상에서 HUB의 할당과 경로 선택 문제를 취급한다. Star-Ring LAN의 설계는 1)HUB들과 사용자 노드(컴퓨터)들 간의 연결, 2)HUB들 간의 경로 선택 문제로 나눌 수 있다. 여기서 제안한 수학적 모델은 HUB의 설치 비용과 각 노드에서 트래픽의 전송 지연 시간을 고려한다. 그리고 최적 해를 탐색하기 위하여 경험적 탐색방법의 하나인 유전 알고리즘(GA:Genetic Algorithm)을 설계한다. 끝으로 본 논문에서 제안된 유전 알고리즘의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 하나의 수치 예를 보인다.         교잡종 찰옥수수에 대한 연구 : Ⅱ. 새로 육성된 찰옥수수 교잡종 "대덕찰"에 대한 농업적 특성 Ⅱ. Agronomic Characteristics of the New Waxy Hybrids "Daedukchals"

        1. 새로 육성된 4개의 대덕찰 찰옥수수 교잡종에 대한 간장은 대조구인 찰옥 1호보다 큰 반면에 개화기는 약 4∼7일 늦었으며, 모든 공시 교잡종의 주당 분얼수는 한 개이하의 무효분얼로 나타났다. 2. 새로 육성된 대덕찰옥수수의 이삭길이와 직경은 대조구인 찰옥 1호보다 크게 나타났으며, 특히 대덕찰옥수수 1호와 2호의 과피두께는 대구조보다 얇았고, 당도 역시 높게 나타나 우수 교잡종으로 평가되었다. Stem height of the new developed "Daedekchals" waxy hybrids were higher than check hybrid. Chalok #1, while days to tasseling were delayed about four to seven days. Number of tillers per plant of the these new hybrids including check were appeared to be one less as non-effective tiller. Ear length and diameter of the new waxy hybrids were longer and thicker than check, respectively. In addition pericarp thickness of the Daedekchal #1 and #2 among new developed waxy hybrids were thinner and sugar content were higher than check.

      • 그람양성구균에 대한 Teicoplanin과 Vancomycin의 시험관내 항균력

        An increasing frequency of methicillin resistant S. aureus(MRSA), methicillin resistant coagulase negative staphylococci(MRCNS) and Enterococcal infection have been observed in recent years. Teicoplanin is a new glycopeptide antibiotic obstained from the Actinoplanes teicomycetius. The molecular structure and spectrum of antimicrobial activity of teicoplanin is simillar to those of vancomycin, and has been reported to have an excellent in vitro and in vivo effect against various gram-positive infections. Therefore, we evaluated the in vitor susceptibility of gram positive cocci, such as, S. aureus, coagulase negative Staphylococci(CNS), and Enterococci to teicoplanin and vancomycin. The total 253 strains consisted of MSSA(40), MRSA(53), MSCNS(47), MRCNS(48), and Enterococci(65). They were assayed by disc diffusion and agar dilution. During the study, 57% of S. aureus and 49% of CNS showed resistance to methicillin. The inhibitory diameter of teicoplanin was 15-20mm in MSSA, 12-19mm in MRSA, 13-24mm in MSCNS, 11-23mm in MRCNS, and 15-22mm in Enterococci respectively, and showed sensitivity in all but 8 strains(3.2%). The range of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of teicoplanin to MSSA, MRSA, MSCNS, MRCNS and Enterococci were 9.12-2.0㎍/ml, 0.25-2.0㎍/ml, & 0.25-32㎍/ml, 0.12-1.0㎍/ml respectively. One case of S. haemolyticus was resistant to teicoplanin (32㎍/ml) by the agar dilution method. Eight minor (3.2%) and one major(0.4%) error was observed when the MIC and disk diffusion data were correlated with teicoplanin. As for vancomycin the inhibitory diameter was 17-21mm in MSSA, 15-21mm in MRSA, 18-26mm in MSCNS, 18-25mm in MRCNS, and 16-22mm in Enterococci respectively. The range of the MIC of vancomycin to MSSA, MRSA, MSCNS, MRCNS, and Enterococci were 0.25-1.0㎍/ml, 0.25-4.0㎍/ml, 0.5-2.0㎍/ml and 0.5-2.0㎍/ml respectively. One minor error (0.4%) was seen with the vancomycin disk. The MIC90 of MSSA and MRSA exhibited the same results in teicoplanin (1.0㎍/ml, 1.0㎍/ml), and vancomycin(2.0㎍/ml, 2.0㎍/ml). MSCNS and MRCNS exhibited greater MIC90 with teicoplanin(4.0㎍/ml, 8.0㎍/ml) than vancomycin(2.0㎍/ml, 2.0㎍/ml). Incontrase Enterococci were more susceptible to teicoplanin(0.5㎍/ml) than to vancomucin (2.0㎍/ml). Results from this analysis indicated that both teicoplanin and vancomycin were very excellent for gram positive infections, especially those resistant to methicillin.

        Trinuclear magnesium complexes stabilized by aminoalkoxide ligands

        <P>New magnesium complexes, [Et2Mg3(dmamp)(4)] (1) and [(CH2=CH)(2)Mg-3(dmamp)(4)] (2), were prepared by the reaction of alkylmagnesium bromide with sodium 1-dimethylamino-2-methyl-2-propoxide [Na(dmamp)] in THF. Complexes 1 and 2 were characterized by H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopies, FTIR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The XRD analysis showed that these complexes are trinuclear where the alkoxy O is the (2)-O bridge between the Mg ions. Among the three metal centers, the two terminal Mg ions are five coordinate and have a square-pyramidal geometry, whereas the central Mg is four coordinate with a distorted tetrahedral geometry. The combination of ethyl and vinyl groups with sterically bulky aminoalkoxide ligands plays an important role in stabilizing the molecule.</P>
