양자역학의 해석상에 나타나는 많은 문제점들이 과학에서의 인식 주체와 대상 사이의 관계를 명확히 설정함으로써 해소될 수 있음을 보인다. 여기서는 특히 인식 주체가 그려내는 인식 공간이 직접적인 경험 및 이에 직결된 내용을 담게 되는 '경험표상 영역'과 대상에 대한 예상을 서술하게 되는 '대상서술 영역'으로 나눔으로써 '현실'과 '예상' 사이의 관계를 밝히고, 과학에서의 인식 주체가 이들 영역을 실질적으로 공유하게 되는 '집합적 인식 주체'임을 제시한다. 이렇게 함으로써 그간 양자역학에서 어려움을 겪었던 대상의 '상태'와 '측정'에 관련된 문제들을 해명한다. 이와 함께 '대상서술 영역'이 '경험표상 영역'으로 환원될 수 없는 양자역학적 서술에서는, 이러한 환원 가능성의 전제 아래 형성된 기존의 '실재성' 개념이 재검토되어야 힘을 보인다. Many difficulties in the interpretation of quantum mechanics are shown to be resolved by clarifying the relation between the epistemic subject and the object of dynamical description. The relation between the cognized reality and expectation is clarified by the functional division of the epistemic space depicted by the the epistemic subject into two separate regions: 'the experience depiction region' and 'the object description region', each of which contains the content of direct experience and that of expected aspect of the object, respectively. It is also shown that the epistemic subject in science is, In fact, 'the collective epistemic subject'. The nature of 'state' and 'measurement', so far the hard subject of difficulties in the tnterpretation of quantum mechanics, can thereby be resolved rather easily. The irreducible nature of 'the object description region' into the 'the experience depiction region' in quantum mechanics requires the critical reexamination of the traditional concept of 'reality', which has been formed under the unconscious assumption of such a reduction.

Although life is most precious to us, we still do not clearly understand what life is. This is because we seek to find the identity of life only through the characteristics of ‘individual life’, without understanding the ‘global life’, upon which all individual lives inevitably depend for their survival. The significance of human being should also be examined in relation to global life. In so doing, we reach to an understanding of human being drastically different from the prevalent anthropocentric point of view. This understanding, on the other hand, has an affinity with certain traditional Eastern thoughts, a significant part of which are based on intuitional understanding of global life.

Fractional composition of surface and core sediment samples were analysed to collect quality improvement and weed control in eutrofied brackish Lake Kyungpo. Factional scheme for sediment phosphorus was made for four chemically defined phosphorus froms as adsorbed phosphorus, nonapatite inorganic phosphorus, apatite phosphorus and residual phosphorus. The analysis of surface sediment samples shows that Lake Kyungpo sediments have high labile hosphorus fraction and thus have high water phllution potential. It was found that no significant water quality improvement could be expected by dredging dowm to 1.0m depth of sediments.
핀하중을 받는 유리 / 에폭시 평직 적층판의 체결부 강도

본 논문에서는 특성길이 방법과 실험을 통하여 핀하중을 받는 평직 유리/에폭시 적층판 체결부의 강도를 평가하였다. 특성길이 및 강도에 영향을 미치는 인자들의 효과를 연구하기 위해, 핀과 원공이 접하는 부분에 코사인 하중을 가할 경우와, 적절한 변위경계조건으로 처리할 경우, 접촉요소를 사용하여 비선형 해석을 수행하는 경우 등 총 세가지 방법으로 특성길이 및 강도를 계산하였다. 또한 체결부의 강도는 사용하는 파손식의 영향을 받게 되므로 Tsai-Wu 파손식과 Yamada-Sun 파손식을 사용하여 결과를 비교하였다. 평직으로 이루어진 적층판과 일방향 프리프레그로 이루어진 적층판 모두에서 접촉요소를 사용한 비선형 해석이 시험과 가장 일치하는 결과를 나타내었다. 일방향 프리프레그만을 사용한 적층판 체결부에서와 달리 모든 층이 평직으로 이루어진 유리/에폭시 체결부의 경우 Tsai-Wu 파손식을 사용한 결과가 실험값과 더 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다. The strength of glass/epoxy fabric joints under pin-loading is estimated based on the characteristic length method and experiment. To investigate the effect of finite element idealization for the contact between pin and laminate, three modeling cases are analyzed; assuming the cosine load distribution around the contact area, constraining the radial displacement at the hole boundary, and using the contact element. To study the effect of failure criteria, Tsai-Wu and Yamada-Sun methods are applied on the characteristic curve. The results of the nonlinear analysis using the contact element showed good agreements with experimental data in both laminates made of uni-directional prepreg tapes and fabrics. In terms of failure criteria, Tsai-Wu method showed better agreement with experimental results than the one by Yamada-Sun in fabric laminate.

Like the innate immunity in mammals, plants have developed an induced resistance, referred to as systemic acquired resistance (SAR). Recently, defense priming that is not related to the direct activation of defenses,but instead elicits more rapid induction of resistance mechanisms following trigger application, has been proposed to explain the long-lasting effect of SAR. However,the majority of previous studies have focused on understanding the molecular mechanism underlying priming under in vitro and laboratory conditions. This study examined whether defense priming occurred and was detectable with SAR marker genes by a chemical elicitor,benzothiadiazole (BTH), under field conditions. Pepper seedling application of 0.5 mM BTH was sufficient to prime the CaPR4 gene for 20 days as well as to induce SAR against bacterial spot caused by Xanthomonas axonopodis. Transcriptome analysis revealed to prime defense hormonal signaling and antimicrobial compound production genes. At the end of the season, when bacterial spot and Cucumber mosaic virus disease outbreaks naturally occurred, BTH-treated plants demonstrated less disease symptoms. Our results indicate that the priming of SAR genes plays a critical role in plant protection against pathogens under natural conditions.
