As the exiting school facilities become old and unfit for new curriculum, the systematical remodeling process based on its educational and physical functions is required, due to the inadequate maintenance and repairing practices, unnecessary costs are expended. Therefore, this study aims to establish a remodelling decision-making model for improving the educational environment of the existing school facilities. According to the budget system, it proposes the concept of remodelling that includes the activities of extension, reconstruction, repair and improvement. This study classifies the performance evaluation for school facilities as that of safety, durability and educational function, and articulates the assessment standards, methods and elements. In the end, it suggests a rational model for remodelling decisions making that can provide efficient and comprehensive remodelling process, economic and sustainable school development.

In recent years, as the demands of VBNS(Very high speed Backbone Network Service) and VDSL(Very high-data rate Digital Subscriber Line) increase, the development of kernel parts of optical communication such as PLC(Planar Light Circuit), Coupler, WDM elements increase. The alignment and the attachment technology are very important to fabricate the optical elements for communication. In this paper, the mechanism of rotational stage are studied. with the three different method and the results of them are applied to the design of the system. The performance test of resolution and travel is performed.

Along with ever―increasing and expanding industrial accidents due to rapid technical innovation, the industrial accident compensation system has been legislated which is aimed at providing medical and income security for the livelihood of the injured employees and their families properly and promptly. Under this compensation system, the employer is held responsible to compensate an employee at prescribed rates for any injury arising out of and in the course of the employment by law, even if no fault attaches to him. With the damage indemnity system in civil law, there are many defects such as complicated and time―consuming litigation procedure, so this compensation system has been useful for the injured employees. And the industrial accident compensation insurance system has been legislated to secure the enforcement of compensation though the individual employer couldn't afford to provide the proscribed compensation in most countries. It should be noticed that the industrial accident compensation system is aimed at the prevention of industrial accident as well as providing the livelihood security of the injured employees and their families. Accordingly, of complementing the defects of industrial accident compensation system and amending it, one should pay attention not only to the livelihood security of the injured employees, but also to the enhancement of preventive function of industrial accidents.

This study has been performed to investigate some effects of various deformations on the flat rolling of wire rod, AISI 1045 treated by spheroidized heat treating technique, by using laboratory scale mill. Also the relation between reduction of rolling ratio and width spread ratio, by estimating the shape of flat rolled, was derived. The following are showing the results derived from flat rolling. 1) Width spread ratio is proportional to the increase of reduction of rolling ratio on the flat rolling of wire rod. 2) Increasing of width spread ratio is rapid form initial to 5% of width/thickness ratio, and is sluggish at above 5%. 3) On flat rolling, the crack is occured th edge preferentially. 4) With increasing reduction of rolling ratio, the shape of edge, R is reduced.

As telecommunicaton networks becomes more complex and intelligence, it is essential to develop an integrated network management system between heterogeneous telecommunication networks. To fulfil such demands, one solution is CORBA, which provides a distributed platform, in this paper, we present the design and implementation of a gateway between CORBA and SNMP, called as an Internet management protocol. The proposed scheme allows a CORBA managerto access the SNMP MIB without special transformation of SNMP managed objects and only but using SNMP API which the gateway provides. Also since managed objects are represented in CORBA IDL, a new SMI can be updated only by recompiling the interface. Consequently this gateway approach gives a great of advantages in a point that any changes of managed object implementation on managed agents MIBs are not required.

In a modern control field, a control engineer who has theoretical backgrounds with some practical knowledge is demanded. That is to say, an engineer who can understand and operate the various pals such as modeling, simulation, system analysis, signal processing, statistics, and hardware is required. In order to prove the theoretical backgrounds and operate various hardwares, a lot of experimental devices for students are designed in universities. Since the conventional experimental devices are manufactured abroad and the prices of the devices are too high, it is difficult to have. If a low cost experimental device can be developed, it will be very useful for a control engineering education. In this paper, an experimental rig which has two control inputs and three sensor outputs to control the end point of a flexible beam is designed and manufactured. This rig can be used for a control field education.

Primary retroperitoneal mucinous cystadenocarcinoma is a very rare malignancy, and little is known concerning its Pathogenesis, optimal treatment, and prognosis. A 29-year-o1d pregnant woman (21 weeks) Presented with abdominal discomfort CA 19-9, CA 125, and CEA were normal Abdominal CT scanning revealed a 19x15x13 cm retropentoneal tumor Exploratory laparotomy and tumor excision were performed. Mucinous retropentoneal implants were removed as completely as possible Histologically, the tumor showed focal areas of capsular invasion, but free resection margins The uterus and both ovaries were normal in appearance No adjuvant therapy was pursued. Six months later, Peritoneal and bilateral ovarian metastases were discovered. Hence, we report the details of this case of primary retroperitoneal mucinous Cystadeno-carcinoma and present a review of the literature.

Acinar cell carcinoma is a rare tumor that represents 1~2% of al1 pancreatic cancers. Clinical and radiologic findings are inconclusive in this disease Acinar cell carcinoma is characterized by rapid progression and early metastasis, which lead to its poor prognosis. A 41-year-o1d man was admitted to our hospital for abdominal pain. Abdominal computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) showed a splenic mass, which was being invaded by a pancreatic tail mass and which had increased ^(18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake Primary radical distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy were performed. Pathologic findings revealed an acinar cell carcinoma of the Pancreas The patient underwent a total gastrectomy three months later because of gastric recurrence Four months later, multiple hepatic metastases were discovered, and the patient underwent a left hepatectomy During treatment with capecitabine, there was no evidence of tumor progression for 14 months. We report a case of metastatic pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma, which did not progress for an extended period while the patient was being treated with capecitabme.
