In this paper, a fully discrete numerical scheme for the viscoelastic Oldroyd flow is considered with an introduced auxiliary variable. Our scheme is based on the finite element approximation for the spatial discretization and the backward Euler scheme for the time discretization. The integral term is discretized by the right trapezoidal rule. Firstly, we present the corresponding equivalent form of the considered model, and show the relationship between the origin problem and its equivalent system in finite element discretization. Secondly, unconditional stability and optimal error estimates of fully discrete numerical solutions in various norms are established. Finally, some numerical results are provided to confirm the established theoretical analysis and show the performances of the considered numerical scheme.
Improvement of Anti-wrinkle Properties of Cotton Fabrics Treated with Additives of Neutral Salts
Huifang Xiao,Kelu Yan,Bolin Ji 한국섬유공학회 2018 Fibers and polymers Vol.19 No.7
By employing 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid (BTCA) as the finishing agent, SHP as the catalyst and neutral salts NaCl and Na2SO4 as the additives, anti-wrinkle finish of cotton fabrics was carried out here. According to the Donnan equilibrium model and the actions of neutral salts in dyeing process of cellulosic fabrics, NaCl and Na2SO4 should both promote the adsorption of BTCA anions onto the surface of fibers and diffusion into the interior of fibers. Consequently, BTCA would crosslink the interior molecular chains of cellulose, improving the anti-wrinkle properties of treated fabrics. In fact, experimental results confirmed the hypothesis that the two additives of neutral salts indeed both improved wrinkle recovery angle (WRA) of the treated fabrics and the optimal molar ratio of NaCl or Na2SO4 to BTCA was 0.2:1 or 0.3:1, respectively. The neutral salts reduced the dosage of BTCA without decreasing WRA, reducing the manufacturing cost. Besides, the fabrics treated with neutral salts presented good durability. Furthermore, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Xray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy analyses revealed that neutral salts could catalyze the formation of BTCA anhydride by decreasing hydrogen-bond interactions between BTCA molecules.

PK-SS-Hy-D drug-protein prodrug was obtained by conjugating doxorubicin (DOX) onto the PEGylatedkeratin (PK) with both bioreducible disulfide linkage and acid-cleavable hydrazone bond in a seriesconnection mode. The controlled release profiles demonstrated the pH and reduction dual-responsivetriggered release of DOX from the proposed drug-protein conjugate nanoparticles, with a low prematuredrug leakage of 5.5% in the simulated physiological medium. The in vitro experiments indicated that theproposed prodrug nanoparticles could delivery DOX into the cell nuclei, with an enhanced anti-tumorefficacy. It is expected as a potential candidate for future tumor chemotherapy with minimized toxic sideeffect.

In this paper, the distributed H∞ filtering problem is investigated for a class of nonlinear systems over wireless sensor networks (WSNs) with successive packet dropouts (SPDs) and multiplicative noise under an eventtriggered communication mechanism (ETCM). A series of uncorrelated random variables which obey the Bernoulli distribution are used to characterize the induced phenomenon of SPDs occurring in network communication. The ETCM based on the relative error between the estimated signals is introduced to reduce the burden of communication and achieve the purpose of saving network resources. The measurement information on each sensor node can be transmitted to its neighboring nodes only when the certain triggering condition is satisfied. In view of WSNs, a distributed filtering error system model is firstly built to take SPDs together with multiplicative noise into account. Then, sufficient conditions are established to ensure both the prescribed H∞ performance requirement and the filtering error variance constraint over a finite-horizon. Moreover, the design method of filter parameters is given in terms of matrix inequalities. Finally, a numerical example is presented to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed distributed H∞ filters design scheme.
The Soft Material Obtained from an Europium (III)-Containing Ionic Liquid
Huifang Shao,Yige Wang,Dan Li 대한화학회 2011 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.32 No.3
The addition of organic ligand (β-diketone or heterocyclic compound) to the europium (III)-containing ionic liquid resulted in bright luminescent soft materials with the molar ratio of europium/ionic liquid (IL)/ligand being 1:3:1 that exhibit bright red light under UV lamp. The luminescent properties such as emission features and lifetime of ^(5)D_0 Eu^(3+) excited level are dependent on the organic ligands. The materials were characterized by FT-IR and luminescence spectroscopy. The data shows that at least parts of the ILs (carboxylic acid) are replaced with β-diketone ligand rather than the formation of europium complex with the molar ratio of Eu^(3+):IL: ligand being 1:3:1, while no ILs could be replaced by the heterocyclic ligand such as Bpy and Phen.

Ectropis grisescens Warren (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) is an important defoliator pest of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis L. Our previous studies showed that E. grisescens pupae had significantly lower body water content when they pupated in the dry soil (20%-moisture) than those that pupated in the wetter soil (50%- or 80%-moisture). However, it is still unclear whether low-moisture conditions during pupating would further influence the physiological and fitness traits of adults. In the present study, E. grisescens individuals were allowed to pupate in 20%-, 50%- or 80%-moisture soil (silt loam), or in containers without soil (no-substrate conditions) in the laboratory. No significant difference in emergence was detected among different pupating conditions. However, female moths that emerged from 20%-moisture soil had significantly lower body water content compared to 80%-moisture soil, whereas the body water content of males was similar among the four treatments. The paired moths that emerged from 20%-moisture soil laid significantly fewer eggs than those that emerged from 50%- moisture soil. In addition, the number of hatched offerings (larvae) were significantly less when the adults previously pupated in no-soil containers compared to 50%-moisture soil. The longevity of adults was shortest when they emerged from 20%-moisture soil. Our study showed that the no-substrate and low-moisture conditions during pupating adversely affected E. grisescens adults.

Schema Theorem Based on Probability for Multigenic Chromosomes Genes Expression Programming
Huifang Cheng,Jianli Zhao,Haitao Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.1
Schema theorem is the theoretical foundation of the evolutionary algorithm. This paper focuses on a new, and general schema theory for multigenic chromosomes gene expression programming. The theory is applicable to every operator in GEP via the method of probability. Not only the destruction but also the creation probability of the schema is considered in the evolutionary process. An equivalent form of general schema theory of GEP was deduced. The result shows that the individuals with high fitness values, shorter schema order, more function nodes, and the shorter the insertion sequence have the greater transmission probability than the average ones.
