        The purpose of this research is to obtain the characteristics of strain and stress in the vacuum pressure vessel. The vacuum pressure vessel is used to many of industrial devices and cooling tower system. The vessel is under the vacuum pressure in this research, and we analyzed the stress on the vessel surface. As the experimental set up, we introduced the Static Strain Measurement(UCAM 70A, Kyowa) system. The environmental condition of vessel is reserved under vacuum pressure 50mmHg, and the vacuum pressure was made by a ejector pump system.

        Characterizing Yarn Thickness Variation by Correlograms

        The surface evenness and texture are closely related with the irregularity of yam thickness. Besides, yam thickness variation has an important role to influence the yam performance and the textile process efficiency. Thus, the information not only on the yam thickness, but also on the short- term irregular characteristics that have not been known before is required for enhancing the qualities of textile products. This paper reports the results of a study about the yam thickness and its variation for various types of yam on the basis of a new measurement system applying a laser slit beam as a light source. The new method delivers effective information on the irregularity. The analysis of the measured signal confirms that the visual shade created by the yam doubling and twisting can be measured and the yam thickness characteristics can be represented by corre­lograms. Depending on yam types, correlograms have different shapes and can be approximated to an exponentially decaying function with or without fluctuating magnitude. In addition, the effective information on the yam irregularity can be influ­enced by the sampling length interval of the measuring device used for tests.

        Pedagogical Process in Sequence Organisation

        This paper examines how a teacher deals with the absence of students’ answer in a series of sequences that start with wh-questions. Using the method of Conversation Analysis, it provides detailed analysis of three main practices through which the teacher pursues a response from the student during one-on-one sessions. First, the teacher may transform the initial wh-question into a polar question. This enables the student to answer the question by narrowing down the range of response options. Furthermore, the inclusion of a possible answer helps the student to find out the right answer to the initial wh-question. Second, the teacher may provide a hint on finding the answer, which also leads the student to search for a more appropriate answer. Finally, the teacher may pursue the initial wh-question with a slight revision in wording. This practice rarely brings forth an immediate answer. In these ways, the teacher attempts to not only elicit an answer from the student but also invite the student to keep participating in the current activity of finding the correct answer. This paper suggests that the use of these practices is oriented towards fulfilling the purpose of the one-on-one sessions.

        Effects of Material Parameters and Process Conditions on the Roll-Drafting Dynamics

        Roll drafting, a mechanical operation attenuating fiber bundles to an appropriate thickness, is an important operation unit for manufacturing staple yams. It influences not only the linear density regularity of the slivers or staple yams that are produced, but also the quality of the textile product and the efficiency of the thereafter processes. In this research, the dynamic states of the fiber bundle in the roll drafting zone were analyzed by simulation, based on the mathematical model that describes the dynamic behavior of the flowing bundle. The state variables are the linear density and velocity of the fiber bundles and we simulated the dynamics states of the bundle flow, e.g., the profiles of the linear density and velocity in the draft zone for various values of the model parameters and boundary conditions, including the initial conditions to obtain their influence on the dynamic state. Results showed that the mean velocity profile of the fiber bundle was strongly influenced by draft ratio and process speed, while the input sliver linear density has hardly affected the process dynamics. Velocity variance of individual fibers that could be supposed to be a disturbing factor in drafting was also influenced by the process speed. But the major disturbance occurred due to the velocity slope discontinuity at the front roll, which was strongly influenced by the process speed. Thickness of input sliver didn't play any important role in the process dynamics.

      • Winding/Unwinding 제어공정에서 반복 충격에 기인한 MD-밀도 변동의 모델링과 시뮬레이션

        In many manufacturing processes such as web formation, manufacturing of paper and nonwoven, fabric weaving, etc., planar sheets are transported and at the same time appropriate tension is imposed. The input material rolled up on beams is fed by unwinding the beam and the processed is then taken up on beams by winding it. While processed, the planar sheets are thrown under the processing load of impulse form, which causes irregular thickness of the processed sheet. To improve the quality of the product, a dynamic model is needed and the dynamic characteristics is to be analyzed by simulation. This study shows that density variation dynamics of the in-process-sheet in the machine direction can be described at each moment of disturbing impacts in forms of difference equations, while the impacts and tension, the time-dependency of the material properties were taken into account. Simulation showed the most serious variation of the density occurred in the process starting phase. The starting velocity curve with step form showed the least variation of the density. As the time order of the function of the starting velocity curve becomes higher, the density variation gets greater.

        패션브랜드 확장 유형, 프리어나운싱, 조절초점이 확장제품의 호의도에 미치는 영향

        This study aimed to identify the effects of fashion brand extensions types, preannouncing and consumers`` regulatory focus on preference towards extension products. To that end, the study used a 2 (fashion brand extension types: similar vs. non-similar) × 2 (preannouncing: near preannouncing vs. far preannouncing) × 2 (regulatory focus: promotion focus vs. prevention focus) three mixed elements. The subjects of the study were 280 men and women in their 20~40s living in Seoul and Chungnam province and total of 229 data were analyzed. Data were analysed with SPSS 19.0 program and three-way ANOVA, simple interaction effects and simple main effects analysis were conducted. The results of this study are as follows: First there were significant differences in preference based on fashion brand extension types and preannouncing. Second, there were significant interaction effects in preference between extension types of fashion brand and regulatory focus. But there was no difference in preference toward extension products according to types of preannouncing and regulatory focus. Lastly, fashion brand extension types, preannouncing and regulatory focus showed significant interaction effects on preference. Thus even in cases of non-similar brand extensions which carry more risk of failing, the appropriate marketing communication strategies such as preannouncing will result in brand preference. Also marketing activities should be comprehensive and strategical based on consumers’ tendencies in order to derive positive evaluations.

        소비자친화적인 금융소비자 피해구제

        금융거래 환경이 온라인을 중심으로 급변하면서 금융 관련 소비자 피해의 유형도 다양해지고 있다. 특히 이 글에서 다룰 채무면제 · 유예상품의 불완전판매나 카드슈랑스 불완전판매 사례와 같이, 텔레마케팅 등을 통해 금융소비자들에게 금융상품의 내용을 제대로 설명하지 않고 판매함으로써 대규모 소비자 피해가 지속적으로 발생하고 있다. 그러나 우리가 기존에 금융소비자의 피해구제를 위하여 활용할 수 있었던 법제도인 민사소송과 금융분쟁조정 제도는, 최근에 발생하고 있는 대규모 피해 사례에 적용하는데 한계가 있다. 또한, 대규모 금융소비자 피해의 구제 방안의 경우 이를 국내에서 시행할 마땅한 법적근거가 없다. 외국에서는 신용카드 부가상품(Credit Card Add-On Products, 미국 사례) 또는 지급보증보험(Payment Protection Insurance, 영국 사례)의 불완전판매로 인하여 대규모 금융피해가 발생한 사안에서, 금융회사가 고객 계좌에 직접 환급하거나, 적극적으로 고객에게 피해사실을 알리는 등(미국의 동의명령 제도, 영국의 피해구제계획명령 제도) 신속하고 효율적으로 피해구제가 이루어지고 있다. 가장 중요한 차이점은, 외국에서는 명시적인 법적 근거와 감독기관이 정한 절차 및 기준, 그리고 그 감독에 따라 피해구제가 엄정하고 투명하게 운용된다는 것이다. 따라서 우리도 이러한 외국 사례를 참고하여 금융소비자보호기본법(안)에 “금융소비자피해보상계획명령”과 같은 소비자친화적인 피해구제 제도를 도입하는 방안을 적극 검토해야 한다. The rapidly changing digital environment has led to the rise of non-face-toface financial transactions, which has in turn, created a possibility of more diverse consumer harm. This study points to wide-spread consumer harm cases such as mis-selling scandals of debt-cancellation-debt-suspention products and ‘cardsurance’ sales by credit card companies where financial companies mis-sold financial products to consumers by misrepresenting the terms and conditions of such products. While we expect the uprise of similar cases of widespread consumer harm in the future, existing current law is ill-suited to amend these types of harm because they are limited to cumbersome and time –consuming means such as litigation and financial dispute resolution systems. Furthermore, (unlike certain foreign jurisdictions studied in this case study) Korean national laws lack the explicit legal grounds to mandate financial companies to reimburse consumers in cases of widespread consumer harm. Widespread mis-selling is not a phenomenon exclusive to Korea. In the United States, widespread mis-selling of credit card add-on products called the attention of the CFPB, while in the United Kingdom, mis-selling of payment protection insurance has also caused the FSA/FCA to perform drastic measures for consumer redress of these products. Notably, in these two nations consumer redress in cases of widepspread financial harm are done efficiently and effectively. Financial companies were required by their financial authorities to reimburse directly to the consumers of the financial harm caused by mis-selling (in the U.S. by way of consent order), or to notify their consumers of the possibility of financial harm caused by mis-selling (in the U.K. by way of PPI consumer redress schemes). Most importantly, in the U.S. and the U.K., consumer redress schemes are imposed and operated by explicit legal mandates, guidelines and procedures promulgated by financial authorities, and are closely supervised by financial authorities. This paper argues that the Financial Consumer Protection Bill which is submitted to the Korean legislature should include new provisions on consumer-friendly consumer redress schemes which are modeled after these foreign examples.

      • 임의 위상스펙트럼(RPS)법에 의한 집속인발 공정의 특성연구

        To analyze the dynamic characteristics of the bundle drawing process, we employed a Random Phase Spectrum method to generate stochastic test signals that had a given autocorrelation function. And the spectra of the dynamics of the process outputs were obtained, based on the dynamic model of the bundle drawing process. Results showed that the RPS method was very effective to generate stochastic signals that had an exponential function form. The drawing process had the traits that there existed a special frequency range, incurring the process resonance.
