      • Carbon Black이 시멘트 Paste 및 Mortar의 물리적 특성에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed to determine the most desirable carbon black and it's content in ordinary porland cement for the increase of physical properties of the cement and mortar. The various contents of carbon black were used for this study such as 0.2wt%, 0.5wt%, 1.0wt% and 3.0wt%. The different particle size and structure of carbon black were used. The physical properties of the cement paste and mortar were tested by KS methods. The experimental results are as follow; 1) The contents of 0.5-1.0wt% carbon blacks in cement increased most apparently the setting time of cement paste, flow value, compressive and flexural strengths of mortar, whereas decreased the water absorption ratio of mortar by about 10%. 2) SNP and D company's carbon black which have smaller numbers of I₂adsorption and DBP absorption and heavier pour density than those of others showed to be the most effective carbon blacks. 3) The soundness of cements remained unchanged regardless to the different kinds and contents of carbon blacks.

      • 설비적인 관점에서 본 인텔리전트 빌딩의 화재위험과 방재계획

        This paper presents the essential points of fire risks and planning of fire protection of intelligent building (IBS) in viewpoint of architectual facility. The problems and cause of fire occurance in IBS is analysized. In near future, the most important facility configurations of IBS is composed of DDC (local controller), LAN for networking IBS. It is expected that emergency facilities and general equipments, plumbing, HVAC & electrical installation etc., are operated integratedly. Therefore, the standardization of H/W & S/W for communication in architectual facilities get accomplished for building amenity and reliability in near furure. This also discusses on the possibility of operation & planning of emergency facility system with DDC & LAN system and propose the high sensitive detection system for fire perfection and pressurized smoke protection system for IBS.

      • ADPCM 통신을 위한 ISDN 기본율 접속구조

        비저지 시스템을 강력하게 추진하려는 전송설비와 통신망에 저속 코딩 기술이 출현하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 하나의 국제 표준 ISDN 기본율 접속을 통한 ADPCM 음성전송을 위하여 스위치 액세스 구조를 제안하였다. 제안한 구조에서는 2개, 3개 또는 4개의 음성 터미날과 데이타 터미날이 접속을 통하여 동시에 동작될 수 있다. 다양한 기술적 내용을 논의하였으며 제안한 기본율 접속구조, 기본율 S와 T 접속 비트 프레밍 요구와 Q.931 호 제어와 새로운 구조에 필요한 회선할당 절차를 논의하였다. 연구결과 기존 ISDN 스위치에서 제안한 구조로 갱신하는데 비교적 간단한 하드웨어 추가로 될 수 있고 표준 ISDN S와 T접속은 그대로 유지된다. This paper proposes a switch access architecture for Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation voice transimssion over a single international standard Inetegrated Services Digital Network, Basic Rate Interface. In this proposed architecture, data terminals with two voice terminals, three voice terminals, or four voice terminals can be operated simultaneously through the interface. Various technical topics are dicussed : the proposed Basic Rate Interface architecture. BRI S and T interface bit framing requirements and the Q.931 call control and channel assignment procedures required for the new architecture. The study results show that relatively simple additional hardware could be used to upgrade an existing ISDN switch to this proposed architecture and the standard ISDN S and T interfaces remain intact.

        This paper proposes the new concept & design method and implementation of LonWorks network system for remote monitoring & control and telemetry using Web network. LonWorks network system for telemetry & remote monitoring and control is designed and fabricated. As a result, it is verified that LonWorks is open, interoperable, reliable network system from the experimental results, especially, it seamlessly links the data and control networks, allowing the IP network to be treated as an extension of the LonWorks networks, and vice versa.

      • 粘性土地盤의 N値와 土質特性과의 相關性

        지반조사에서는 원위치시험으로는 표준관입시험, 정적콘관입시험, 동적콘관입시험, 스웨덴 식사운딩시험, 베인시험 등이 실시되고 있다. 특히, 이들 가운데 표준관입시험은 간편하면서도 유용한 원위치시험으로 가장 널리 이용되어져 오고 있다. 표준관입시험으로부터 얻어진 N치는 지반의 지지력, 침하량, 점착력, 내부마찰각, 상대밀도, 변형계수 등 다양한 해석정보를 얻는데 활용되고 있으나, N치의 지반특성과의 관계의 상관성에 대하여 아직 명확히 조사되어있지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 점성토지반에서의 표준관입시험에 의한 N치와 지반특성의 상관성을 규명하여 보고자 우리나라 서남해안지역의 연약한 점성토 및 내륙지역의 견고한 점성토에 대한 현장지반조사 및 실내시험 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 결국, Atterberg한계, 자연함수비, 습윤 및 건조밀도, 일축압축강도와 압축지수 등과 같은 물리적, 역학적 특성의 예측에 이용될 수 있을 것이다. In soil investigations, in situ tests, such as standard penetration test, static cone penetration test, dutch cone penetration test, Swedish sounding test, vane test, etc, are performed as a part of main investigation. Especially, standard penetration test is most widely used as useful test in situ. N-value from the standard penetration test could give a numerous interpretation such as judgement of ground bearing capacity, settlements, cohesion, internal friction angle, relative density, modulus of deformation, etc. Nevertheless, in some respect to clear the correlations between N-value and soil properties are not enough yet. In this study, in order to find the correlations between N-value and soil properties in cohesive soils, the soil test data have been analyzed. The data was given by both the field soil investigation and laboratory test performed on soft clay in west and south coasts and stiff clay of inland areas in Korea. The results of this study might be available to predict some soil properties, such as the Atterberg limit, natural water content, wet and dry densities, unconfined compression strength and compression index, by use of the standard penetration test results in fields.

      • 전력시스템에서의 초전도전류제한기 운전방안

        Design & Operation of power system for meeting increase of elecrtic power demands is becoming more difficult and complex. One of reasons is Increase of fault current. As one of the most effective methods for supressing the fault currents, insta1lation of SFCL are expected. An image of future hybrid & total Superconducting(SC) power system which have introduced SC generator, cable, transformer, fault current limiter, SMES & shunt reactor, etc. are presented. The pertinent and effective power system for the application of SFCL is also proposed. In the SC power system, it is pointed that a SFCL should play a important part of quenching current level coodination to prevent the other SC devices from quench.

      • 광양지역의 지반전단강도 증가 특성

        본 연구에서는 연약지반개량공사가 실시된 광양지역을 대상으로 압밀기간동안 개량지반의 물리적, 역학적 변화특성 및 개량효과를 고찰되어 있다. 지반개량전 원지반에서 시료를 채취하고, 모래말뚝 타설직후, 압밀방치중(예상압밀도 50%) 및 압밀완료시(예상압밀도 90%)에도 시료를 채취하여 각각 토질정수를 조사 비교하였다. 그 결과 압밀이 진행되는 동안 지반의 강도는 증가하여, 일축압축강도로 구한 점성토지반의 강도증가율(C_u/P_o)이 0.36이 되었다. 그리고, 일축압축강도로 구한 점성토지반의 강도증가율(C_u/P_o)이 0.36이 되었다. 그리고, 일축압축강도와 함수비는 최대압밀응력에 대하여 유일함수관계를 보이고 있으며, 압밀완료시점(예상압밀도 90%)에서 추정된 비배수전단강도는 측정된 비례수전단강도와 비교적 잘 일치한다. In this study, both physical and mechanical properties of soft grounds are investigated during improvement works of soft grounds in Kwangyang. The properties of soil before ground improvement are compared with the properties of the improved ground after Sand Compaction Pile installation, during consolidation(degree of consolidation 50%), and at the end of consolidation(degree of consolidation 90%). From this result, improvement of the shearing strength of soft grounds can be deserved during consolidation, and the improving rate of shearing strength C_u/P_o is 0.36. The relationship between the shearing strength by unconfined compression tests, consolidation stress and water content shows that both the shearing strength and water content have an unique function relationship. The shearing strength predicted by Rutledge hypothesis shows relatives good agreement with the field strength.
