This study is on the policy direction settings that can accomplish regional revitalization by continuously developing the various theme of rural tourism and can contribute to the improvement of the quality of life. The recent issues of SDGs are discussed, and their link with rural development, especially with rural tourism, are examined. To be specific, it focuses on healing-type rural tourism that is rising as a new theme in the tourism industry. The results have revealed the possibility of linking the indicators of SDGs and the needed resources for healing rural tourism. Therefore, it is possible to strengthen the rural tourism theme linkage, and to contribute to the regional revitalization through establishment of the detailed action indicators of rural tourism in line with SDGs. However, since research on SDGs is at an early stage, there is a need for further discussion on various examples from the rural tourism field.

A bacterial infection is a severe issue for cataract treatment using intraocular lens (IOL). To deal with this issue, we proposed a novel strategy to impart an antimicrobial property onto the IOL surface. The antimicrobial IOL surface comprises elastic nanopillars coated by quaternary ammonium compounds (QAC). The QAC coated nanopillar able to capture bacteria by both topological interaction of nanopillar and physicochemical surface function of QAC, providing excellent antibacterial efficiency over 99% against Staphylococcus aureus. Furthermore, the QAC coated nanopillar diminishes the adhesivity of corneal endothelial cells and posterior capsule opacification without any cytotoxicity. This work opens up the possibility of a novel efficient strategy to prevent postoperative complications related to bacteria contamination of IOL after cataract surgery.
Study on Micro Deformation of Automobile Roof with Mastic Sealer after Oven Process

In order to replace trial-and-error methods with more systematic procedures which can reduce or eliminate exterior styling defectsof automobile such as micro deformation, we simulated the mechanism of micro deformation that occurs during the painting process. We studied the characteristics of mastic sealer which was regarded to have the most important effect on the micro deformation. Alsowe established a stiffness scanning procedure to identify the structural characteristics of the roof assembly. Material parameters ofthe cured mastic sealer were obtained by shear test and the corresponding analysis. Through stiffness scanning, the load-stroke curvesfor the main locations of the roof were obtained. We numerically modeled the automobile roof structure with measured materialparameters of mastic sealer and virtual elastic materials at specific joints. Virtual elastic material was introduced to minimize thedifference between the computations and the measurements of load-stroke curves that may not be simulated practically with variousreasons. The validity of the foam, the driving force, the elastic models of mastic sealer and the structural analysis procedures wasverified by comparing the location of the actual micro deformation after oven process line and the computation results. It wasconcluded that the micro deformation on the roof could be numerically simulated with proper material and numerical models andthey were utilized as tools for eliminating defects.

This paper presents camera-based road surface marking detection methods suited to sensor fusion-based positioning system that consists of low-cost GPS (Global Positioning System), INS (Inertial Navigation System), EDM (Extended Digital Map), and vision system. The proposed vision system consists of two parts: lane marking detection and road surface marking detection. The lane marking detection provides regions that are highly likely to contain road surface marking. The road surface marking detection detects road surface markings in ROI (Region of Interest) established between the lane markings, and classifies their types. In order to ensure real time operation, the proposed system varies the gating for lane marking detection and changes detection methods according to the FSM (Finite State Machine) about the driving situation. Further, a single template matching is used to extract features for both lane marking detection and road surface marking detection, and it is efficiently implemented by horizontal integral image.
자유학기제와 연계한 농업·농촌 관련 프로그램에 대한 교사의 인식과 참여현황 -교사의 장소경험과 장소감의 관점에서-

본 연구의 목적은 자유학기제와 연계한 농업·농촌 관련 프로그램의 경험과 자유학기제 담당교사의 인식간의 관련성을 밝히는 것에 있다. 현 중학교의 농업·농촌 관련 프로그램의 경험여부와 인식을 파악하기 위하여 장소경험과 장소감의 개념을 분석의 틀로 이용하였다. 또한 그 과정에서는 프로그램에 대한 만족도를 분석함으로써 현농업·농촌 관련 프로그램의 실태를 파악하였다. 분석의 결과, 교사의 장소경험(농사경험, 농업·농촌체험경험 유무)은 농업·농촌 관련 자유학기제 프로그램의 참여와 유의미한 관련성이 있다. 장소경험으로 농촌에 대한 긍정적 장소감을 지닌 교사는 농업·농촌 프로그램에 참여하지만, 농촌에 대해 부정적 장소정체성을 지닌 교사의 경우 프로그램에 참여하지 않는다. 프로그램의 만족도에 있어서는 전반적으로 교사는 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. ‘프로그램’, ‘물리적 환경’ 영역에서는 체험처간의 만족도 차이가 없었고, 오직 ‘진로교육’ 영역에서 만족도 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 농가의 프로그램은 내용이나 체험공간, 강사의 측면에서 충분히 만족도가 높지만, 진로의 측면에서는 다른 체험처에 비해 만족도가 낮다. 즉, 진로교육의 측면에서 농가의 프로그램은 교사의 기대에 못미치고 있다고 평가할 수 있다. 따라서 농가의 프로그램은 진로체험으로서 진로교육 측면에서의 내용보완과 개선이 요구된다. The aim of this study is to clarify relations between the experiences in the agricultural and rural programs for the Free Semester and the perception of the teachers who are responsible for the Free Semester. Key concepts of Place Experience and Sense of Place were adopted as an analytical framework to understand how the perception of the teachers about the agricultural and rural programs influences participation in the programs. In addition, the current circumstances of the agricultural and rural programs for the Free Semester were also identified by analysing the level of the teachers’ satisfaction about the programs. As a result of the analysis, it was proved that the teachers’ Place Experience(farming experience, agricultural and educational tourism) is relevent to the participation in the agricultural and rural programs. Some teachers who have a positive Sense of Place from experiencing the rural areas tend to participate in the agricultural and rural programs. The others who have a negative Place Identity for the rural areas avoid participating in the programs. With regard to the teachers’ satisfaction about the programs, the teachers are generally staisfied with the programs. There were no satisfaction differences between the categories of ‘Program’ and ‘Physical Environment’, but a meaningful difference in the category of ‘Career Education’. In particular, the programs of the farm households are fairly satisfying in terms of content, experiencing facility and instructor. However, they are less satisfactory in terms of the career education than the other two program supliers. In other words, the programs of the farm households do not meet the teachers’ expectation about the career education. Therefore, the farm households are need to improve their contents for the career education.
