      • PDLC의 상 변환 특성

        Phase separated liquid crystal in PDLC(polymer dispersed liquid crystal) has a characteristic behavior of alignment by the external electric field. There are three kinds of methods for fabrication of PDLCs, PIPS(polymerization induced phase separation), TIPS(thermally induced phase separation),and SIPS(solvent induced phase separation). We have made PDLC samples by using the TIPS method and studied the characteristics of phase separation, We have used 5CB(K15), 8CB(K24), and 10CB(K30) as liquid crystal, and PMMA and PVEM as polymer. Phase separation characteristics according to the rate of temperature cooling were observed by a polarization microscope, and quantitatively measured by light scattering method.

        백서에서 치아이동 후 보정기간 동안 교합이 치주조직섬유의 재형성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 실험적 치아이동 후 보정기간 동안 교합이 치주조직섬유의 물리적 강도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 시행되었다. 체중 200g 내외의 Sprague-Dawley계 백서 수컷에서 상악 양측 제1대구치와 2대구치 사이에 교정용 고무줄을 삽입하여 4일 동안 치아를 이동시킨 다음, 각 실험동물의 하악 좌측 베1, 2, 3대구치를 발치하여 우측은 대합치가 있는 교합측으로, 좌측은 비교합측으로 구분하였다. 상악 제1대구치와 2대구치 사이의 인접면에 유지구를 형성하고 광중합형 레진으로 채워 보정을 시행한 후 시작 0일, 4일, 8일, 12일, 16일 또는 20일 경과한 후 백서를 희생시킨 다음, 만능물성 시험기를 이용하여 상악 제1대구치를 발치할 때 필요한 최대인장강도를 측정 좌우간 비교 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 교합측은 비보정군에서 보정 4일, 8일, 12일, 16일, 20일군으로 갈수록 최대인장강도사 증가하였고, 보정 12일군 이후부터 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 2. 비교합측은 비보정군에서 4일, 8일, 12일, 16일, 20일군으로 갈수록 최대인장강도가 증가하는 경향을 보였으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다(p<0.05) 3. 교합측과 비교합측의 최대인장강도를 비교한 결과 보정 8일군까지 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나 (p>0.05), 보정 12일군 이후 보정 20일군까지 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 이상의 결과는 실험적 치아이동 후 보정기간 동안 교합이 치주조직 섬유의 재형성에 영향을 미침으로 보정장치의 선택, 기간설정 등 보정계획서 교합에 대한 고려가 필요함을 시사하였다. The purpose of this study was to valuate the effect of occlusion on the mechanical strength of periodontal fibers during retention periods after experimental tooth movement. In the Sprague-Dawley male rats weighing 200g or more, the intraoral elastics were inserted into the both right and left interproximal space between upper first and second molars for tooth movement. After 4 days later, the left lower first, second, and third molars were extracted for differentiating the non-occlusal side from the occlusal side in the same mouth. At the same time the elastics were removes and than light cured resin was placed in the space between upper first and second molard following undercut was made for retention bilaterally. From the beginning of retention, 7 rats were sacrificed at 0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 days respectively. For evaluating of magnitude on the mechanical strength of periodontal tissue, the maximal shear load of the upper first molars were measured bilaterally during extraction using Instron Universal Testing Machine. The results of this study were obtained as follows : 1. In the occlusal side, the maximal shear load was increased from no retention to retention 20 days group as time was going and statistically difference was shown from retention 12 days group (p<0.05). 2. In the non-occlusal side, the maximal shear load was increased slightly from no retention 20 days group as time was going but there was no statistically difference (p>0.05) 3. The result compared with the maximal shear load between occlusal and nonocclusal side showed no statistically difference until retention 8 day group (p>0.05), but showed statistically difference from retention 12 day to 20 day group (p<0.05). These results show that occlusion had an effect on mechanical strength of the periodontal fibers during retention periods after experimental tooth movement; therefore, it is suggested that occlusion should be considered while the retainer types and retention period are planned.

      • 溫病中의 神昏譫語에 關한 文獻的 考察

        Since ancient times among the both kinds of the orientail medicine records I made a seletion of the 60th kinds of the Iemological records, that were described, to a symptom and a treatment as the object of study. In order to refer to documents on a stupefaction and a delirium of the Iemology, the results obtain in this works were summarized as follow. 1) It shows that a stupefation and a delirium are mentioned in the lemology much more than the other(Sang Han). And bhese both theory of the lemology and the sang Han are valuable to be recognized again egually. 2) It comes out into the symptom of the shimpo-diseage that a stupefaction makes a Lung-system, and a delirium makes a stomach-system, to be injured. 3) I regard that a white scap and mottling-eruption exert an important effection to a stupefaction and a delirium. 4) As knowing the causal treatment of the lemology, I believe to do a great deal for that the sign of death-agony of the sang-han and the lemology could be reduced. 5) According to the pathology of a stupefaction and a delirium, It is known that the lemology and Sang-Han are equal, and a seasonal disease is too similar to the modern-infectious disease, and a partial lemology-contagium is correspond to an infectious disease designated by law. 6) In consequency that a stupefaction and a delirium are related with a course of the lemology, in spring and all there are much more stupefactions than the other. On the contrary a delirium is much more in Summer, and in Winter there are originated a paralled between a stupefaction and a delirium, and the lemology-contagium is confused with an outbreak of a stupefaction and a delirium. 7) In the lemology treatment if stupefaction and a delirium come out with projecting taste but, put first to open sudoriferus, and alleviate a fever. And if the eye is closed and could not be opened on a high fever, I regard it as appopriate putting first treatment to alleviate a fever, and cause up flow af saliva.

        Nowadays there are going to be performed various researches about the operation and management of container terminals. By these researches, problems that arise in operation of container terminals are examined and solved. However the analysis of a port loading equipments actually wastes many time and much money. In these cases, the simulator is the most efficient means among related researches. Therefore this paper studied on a simulator for intelligent port handing equipments. The simulator divided loading courses into five steps and each step made in a module. The virtual port has many 3D objects and objects move each other independently. In this environment, the more 3D objects have, the more the simulator slows by dropping FPS. This problem is solved by the maintenance technique of many objects. Because It took many objects of a container box and guaranteed better FPS.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitude difference toward the school uniform, it was supposed that clothing acceptance was differentiated according to subjects. The subjects were grouped by 3 types which were students, teachers(school governors) and parents groups. The results were as follows; 1. Boy students reguired the more freedom of clothing than girls. 2. Teachers and parents groups considered that clothing affected student's behavior and self-esteem. 3. The acceptance of school plain dress was affected by atomosphere of home and school. 4. According to socioeconomic levels, there were differences in clothing acceptance and fashion acceptance.

        MODELING AND SIMULATION OF ENERGY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS IN A PETROCHEMICAL PLANT

        A systematic method for analysis and design of plant-wide energy distribution systems is proposed to minimize the net cost of providing energy to the plant. The method is based on the steady-state modeling and simulation of steam generation process and steam distribution network. Modeling of steam generation process and steam distribution network were performed based on actual plant operation data. Heuristic operational knowledges are incorporated in the modeling of steam distribution network. Newton's iteration method and a simple linear programming algorithm were employed in the simulation. The letdown amount from superheated high-pressure steam (SS) header and the amount of SS produced at the boiler showed good agreement with those of actual operational data.

        Although most of flutter of palpebranum (part of Tourette`s disorder) was though to be functional and psychogenic emotional disorder, author has understood that it was organic disease due to abnormal interaction of Heart Gall bladder according to many clinical experience. The confirmation was accomplished by four examinations, pulse, meridian and it was supplemented by ECG because it was surely to correlate with the wave of ECG. The treatment was done medically by prescirbing mainly O pe san , samsoyeum, zagumhuan and good result was obtained

        촌관척(寸關尺)부의 검측한 부정맥과 Electrocardiographic 결과의 한의학적 검토

        Objective: The ECG which used for this paper, is analysis result from alogrisms of arrythmia, and we have studied that how we could certain Cold(寒)type or Heat(熱) type and that Deficiency(虛) type or Excess(實)type of organs from various special diseases, and we obtained like these results. Method & Conclusion: 1. we depend on our examination about Pulse(脈) because we can`t discriminate arrythmia using ECG analysis instruments. 2. We obtained that Cold(寒) type diseases had wave that prolonged above normal baseline and ST wave which had downward aptitude. 3. We obtained that Heat(熱) type diseases had the fibrillation which had shortend wave that compare to normal and had downward aptitude or negative aptitude. 4. We obtained that Respiratory system (肺) diseases had wave that is within normal or is short of normal range and had much fluctuation in potential difference or trans on P wave. 5. The character of EKG which presented about diseases of gastric systems is prolonged above narmal range of wave, and the ECG had represented mixed wave with Heat(熱) type when accompany inflammatory in gastric system. 6. The wave of Blood Stasis(瘀血) type had upward aptitude of QRS wave, and the wave of anemia or blood loss type(少血 ) had downward aptitude of QRS wave, the wave which had both Cold(寒) and Heat (熱) represented mixed waves. 7. The Knotted Pulse(結脈) and Intermittent Pulse(代脈) is corresponded with sinus brady cardia, and the Swift Pulsle(疾脈) is corresponded with fibrillation. 8. We pay attention to the relations of formations about pressures pulse from formations of EMD( electromechanical dissociation ). Result : From these results, we will have to study about ECG which using in tests of change of Parkinsons disease.

        Suppression of Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Inflammatory and Oxidative Response by 5-Aminolevulinic Acid in RAW 264.7 Macrophages and Zebrafish Larvae

        In this study, we investigated the inhibitory effect of 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA), a heme precursor, on inflammatory and oxidative stress activated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in RAW 264.7 macrophages by estimating nitric oxide (NO), prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), cytokines, and reactive oxygen species (ROS). We also evaluated the molecular mechanisms through analysis of the expression of their regulatory genes, and further evaluated the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant efficacy of ALA against LPS in the zebrafish model. Our results indicated that ALA treatment significantly attenuated the LPS-induced release of pro-inflammatory mediators including NO and PGE2, which was associated with decreased inducible NO synthase and cyclooxygenase-2 expression. ALA also inhibited the LPS-induced expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-1β, and IL-6, reducing their extracellular secretion. Additionally, ALA abolished ROS generation, improved the mitochondrial mass, and enhanced the expression of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) and the activation of nuclear translocation of nuclear factor-E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages. However, zinc protoporphyrin, a specific inhibitor of HO-1, reversed the ALA-mediated inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines production and activation of mitochondrial function in LPS-treated RAW 264.7 macrophages. Furthermore, ALA significantly abolished the expression of LPS-induced pro-inflammatory mediators and cytokines, and showed strong protective effects against NO and ROS production in zebrafish larvae. In conclusion, our findings suggest that ALA exerts LPS-induced anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects by upregulating the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway, and that ALA can be a potential functional agent to prevent inflammatory and oxidative damage.
