        <P>The first ever demonstration of a cable‐type lithium ion battery architecture with outstanding omni‐directional flexibility is described by Je Young Kim, Heon‐Cheol Shin, and co‐workers on page 5192. The Front Cover image illustrates the unique battery architecture comprising a skeleton frame surrounding an empty space, that is, a hollow‐spiral anode with a multi‐helical structure. This design enables the battery to reliably power an LED screen or an MP3 player even under severe mechanical twisting and bending. </P>

      • 비만학생들의 운동후 회복시 초과 산소소비량 및 지속시간에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of two different intensity of continuous exercise on magnitude of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption(EPOC), energy consumption following a 20min treadmill exercise. The subjects of this study were eight super-obesity in middle school students who were above 13 years old. subjects participated in two different exercise intensity to measure respiratory gas, blood lactate concentration and eardrum temperature. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The Energy consumption of the high intensity (80% VO₂ max) exercise group (264.68 35.60cal) was greater than that of the low intensity (50%) exercise group(172.01 20.39 Cal)(p<.001). 2. The EPOC of the high intensity exercise group (22.36+ 6.82Cal ) was greater than that of the low intensity exercise group(15.39+5.27 Cal)(p<.001). 3. The EPOC duration of th high intensity exercise group(28.36=3.56min) was longer than that of the low intensity exercise group(17.23+1.25min)(p<.001) 4. The blood lactate concentration, respiratory exchange ratio and temperature of the high intensity exercise group were greater than those of the low intensity exercise group(p<.05,p<.01). EPOC and duration were increase with 80%VO₂max, 80% VO₂max as intensity exercise got higher this also showed that it had something to do with lactate concentration in blood and increase of body temperature in the conclusion. We considered that there was a difference in using methods of energy, as there was a similar difference in RER. We though this following with oxygen consumption after exercise, we could clarify that high intensity exercise was better than lower intensity exercise in sametime for those who are obese especially adolescents to maintain their weights on the aspect of effect.

        시효처리와 마모체가 치과용 콤포짓트 레진의 마모에 주는 영향

        Over the last decade, the use of posterior resin composites has grown considerably. Wear resistance of restorative materials is important for clinical longevity, esthetics, and resistance to dental plaque. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of artificial saliva and 75% ethanol solution on the wear resistance of composite resins by measuring the amounts of wear, and compare the effect of antagonistic materials on the wear resistance of composite resins. Four universal composite resins (Z100, Aelitefil, Spectrum, and Unifill F) and two condensable composite resins (Surefil and Synergy Compact) were measured. Cylinder type specimens were light-cured for 40 sec on the wear surface, and 20 sec on each side surface. The surface for wear testing was polished by 600 grit SiC paper. Three different antagonistic materials (600 grit SiC paper, amalgam, and procelain) were used as an antagonist for 2-body wear test. After speciments were aged in 37℃, artificial saliva and 75% ethanol solution for specific periods (1 day, 1 month and 2 month), 2-body wear testing was performed by the FRP-2000 friction tester with applying 500 g load (80 kPa) to the specimen. The wear test was performed for 10 min and 30㎖ distilled water was used as lubricant. Amount of wear was measured by microscopic measuring device of Micro Hardness Tester in 0.1㎛ scale. There was significant difference in wear resistance of composite resins (p<0.05). Composite resins with filler content below 59 vol.% showed higher wear resistance that composite resins those with filler content above 62 vol.%. In composite resins from 1 day to 1 months (p<0.05). On the contray, the wear amounts of groups which filler fraction were above 62 vol.% did not show any significant differences with increasing aging period (p>0.05). In 1 day aged groups, the wear amounts of the groups aged in 75% ethanol solution were more than those of the groups aged for 1 month (p=0.045) and Spectrum group aged for 2 month (p=0.006). Amounts of wear were significantly decreased with changing antagonist from 600 grit SiC paper to amalgam or porcelain (p<0.05).

        외상후 스트레스 장애의 다면적 인성검사 특성

        본 연구는 외상후 스트레스 장애와 정상인을 의미있게 구별하여 주는 다면적 인성검사 반응 특성을 확인하고, 외상후 스트레스 장애군 내의 다면적 인성검사 프로화일 특성을 분류하고자 시도하였다. 연수 대상은 1991년 1월부터 1993년 3월까지 전주 예수병원에 입원 또는 외래로 내원한 외상후 스트레서 장애 환자 45명과 정상인 55명을 대상으로 하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다: 1) 외상후 스트레스 장애군이 L척도를 제외한 모든 척도에서 정상집단보다 의미있게 더 높은 점수를 보였다. 2) 판별 분석에서 두 집단을 잘 판별해주는 척도는 D, Mf, Pt,Si척도이고, 이 척도들은 외상후 스트레스 장애군을 88.9% 정확헤게 판별해 주었으며, 정상 대조군은 94.5% 정확하게 판별해주었다. 3) 외상후 스트레스 장애군의 다면적 인성검사 반응을 군집 분석한 결과 3개의 하위 집단이 추출되었다. a. 첫번째 집단은(54.3%) L, F, K척도의 프로화일이 역전된 'V' 형태이고 Hs, D, Hy, Pd , Pt, Sc척도의 점수가 60년에서 71점 사이의 점수를 보이고 있다. b. 두번째 집단은(36%) L, F, K척도의 점수가 47점에서 56점 사이의 범위를 보이고 있고, 모든 임상 척도가 42점에서 59점 사이의 점수를 보이고 있는 정상 프로화일이었다. c. 세번째 집단은 (11.1%) L, F, K척도가 56점에서 70점의 점수에 속하고, Mf척도를 제외한 모든 임상척도들이 60점에서 80점의 점수를 보이고 있다. 이러한 결과들은 다면적 인성검사가 외상후 스트레스 장애군을 구별하는데 신뢰할만한 판별력을 가진다는 것을 시사해 준다. This study was attempted to identify MMPI responses which significantly discriminate between the PTSD and the normal on the basis of MMPI scores. And it was designed to classify the types of MMPI profiles in the PTSD. Subjects were 55 healthy control and 45 PTSD who were inpatient or outpatient in Presbyterian Medical Center from January, 1991 to March, 1993. The results were as follows : 1) In MMPI subscales, except L scale, PTSD had significantly higher score than the normal group. 2) In discriminant analysis, it was D, Mf, Pt, ans Si that discriminate these two groups. Also, it classified 88.9% of PTSD group and 94.5% of normal group correctly. 3) Three subgroups were extracted from the PTSD by cluster analysis of MMPI. a. The first subgroups(54.3%) showed a profile which T score of L, F scale configured a reverted "V" pattern, and T scores of Hs, D, Hy, Pd, Pt, and Sc scale belonged to the range of 60 to 71 point. b. The second subgroup(36%) showed a normal profile which had L, F, and K scale with normal range of 47 to 56 T score and all clinical scales with 42 to 59 T score. c. The third subgroup(11.1%) showed a profile which had L, F, and K scale belonged to the range of 56 to 70 T score and all clinical scales belonged to the range of 60 to 80 T score except Mf scale. These findings suggest MMPI has a remarkable discriminant power in PTSD group.

      • 장기간의 40분 달리기 운동이 비만학생의 호흡순환능력과 혈청 지질에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of study was to investigate the effect of 12wks before and after running exercise of obsese in D high school in Pusan city, exercise group(7) performed 12wks running exercise and control group(7), before and after subjects performed the maximal exercise test on treadmill's 12wks running exercise. Through the comparision and analysis of change respiro-circulatory and serum lipids the results of this study were as follows. 1. In 12wks before and after running exercise, physique and body composition of exercise group was found to have a great decrease in %Fat(6%), Fat(kg)(6%), Triceps(7%) and to have a significant in crease in %LBM(6%). 2. Respiro-circulatory Capacity of exorcise group at the maximal exercise, was found to have a great decrese in VE(5%), RR(8%), RQ(5%). 3. In 12wks before and after running exercise at rest time, in seam lipids of exercise group was found to have a great decrease in TC(8%), TG(29%), LDL-C(7%) and to have a significant in crease in HDL-C(20%), FFA(74%). 4. At rest time, the control group was found to have a little decrease in TG, HDL-C, LDL-C and to have little change in TC and FFA. 5. In 12wks before and after running exercise at the maximal exercise, in serum lipids of the exercise group was found to have significant decrease in TC(18%), TG(23%) and to have a significant in crease in HDL-C(20%), LDL-C(25%), FFA(23%) and TG and HDL-C were found to have a significant change. 6. At maximal exercise, was found to have little change in the control group.

      • 승강대 운동이 비만고등학생의 혈청 지질 및 아포지단백 대사에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 12 wks before and after step test of obsese student in D high school in Pusan city, exercise group(7) performed 12 wks step test and control group(7), before and after subjects performed the maximal exercise thest on treadmile's 12 wks step test. Through the comparision and analysis of change serum lipids and apolipoprotein metabolism, the results of this study were as follows. 1.In 12 wks before and after step test at the rest time, exercise group was found to have a increase In TC(12.7%), TG(9.76%), LDL-C(13.8%) and to have a significant increase in HDL-C(11.3%), FFA(96.8%). 2.At the rest, the control group was found to have a little increase in TG(9.2%) and HDL-C(6.7%), and to have a significant increase in TC(9.2%), LDL-C(8.9%) and FFA(7.5%). 3.In 12 wks before and after step test at the maximal exercise, the exercise group was found to have a significant increase in TC(5.6%), HDL-C(20.2%) and FFA(54.3). 4.At the maximal exercise, were found to have a significant increase in TC(9.7%) and LDL-C(9.9%) in the control group. 5.In 12 wks before and after step test at the maximal exercise, the exercise group was found to have a significant increase in Apo A-I(8.0%). 6.Statistically, At the maximal exercise, were found to have a significant increase in Apo B(7.8%).

      • 도시근린공원의 이미지와 이용만족도에 관한 연구

        This paper presents the future direction of the development and maintenance of the urban park of the Kumi city. The direction was obtained by analyzing the evaluation results on the satisfaction level of park use and the park image of the park users. The analysis results are as follows. 1) It turns out that the rest and accommodation facilities are the major facilities that uplifts the total image of the park. 2) Among the park images, the image on the pleasantness was the major image, related with the satisfaction on the park equipments. 3) The social class, who gave a bad score on the above equipments and images, is a low-aged class, who is a white class with high income as well. Therefore, it is suggested that the park maintenance plan, with emphasis on the class, is an important task.
