        Fungi are well suited for studying mechanism controlling development and cell differentiation in multicellular eukaryotes. The asexual and sexual reproductive cycles are tightly coordinated during the life cycle of Aspergillus nidulans. The asexual (mitotic) reproductive cycle involves the formation of a number of differentiated cell types. Successful formation of multicellular reproductive structures and spores (conidia) requires the establishment of spatiotemporal gradients in essential transcriptional regulators, such as brlA, abaA and wetA. Altered gene expression is coordinated with critical changes in the movement of nuclei and the regulation of the cell division cycle. Therefore, it has been proposed to define a central regulatory pathway. Several early regulatory genes involved in signal transduction pathway controlling asexual sporulation are also required for activating the central pathway. Sexual (meiotic) reproduction is more complex, requiring the differentiation of several specialized tissue types. Although technical difficulties have limited efforts to study the genetics of sexual fruiting-body formation directly, some recent progress has been made. With the recent availability of mutants blocked in sexual development, understanding the genetic interactions between genes that function primarily in determining sexual sporulation will be achieved in the near future.

        Transmission ability of Zika virus with artificially infected Aedes albopictus in Korea

        Zika virus (ZIKV), a virus mainly occurring in South America, is now globally distributed. Understanding the pathogen transmission cycle in a vector is exceptionally important in developing disease control strategies. In this study, we performed ZIKV microinjection in Aedes albopictus (Skuese), to estimate its vertical and horizontal transmission ability. The virus infection rate was confirmed by real-time qPCR in the F1 generation derived from the ZIKV-injected Ae. albopictus. The minimum infection rate (MIR) of the F1 generation was highest when they were injected with the virus at 6–12 h (MIR: 16.1) and lowest at 12–24 h (MIR: 4.7) after feeding. In the developmental stage of the F1 progeny, MIR values were 1.0, 1.3, and 6.7 in each egg, larval, and adult stage, respectively, but ZIKV was not detected in the pupa stage. Virus transmission ability was not significantly different between the collection areas (Tongyeong and Jeju). Ae. albopictus demonstrated a high venereal transmission rate of ZIKV and was detected in males (6 pool/7 pool) and females (6 pool/7 pool), confirming that ZIKV can be transmitted from infected mosquitoes to uninfected mosquitoes via mating. This is the first study of the administration of a ZIKV microinjection to Ae. albopictus in Korea and suggests a possibility of a potential mechanism for the virus to survive during adverse conditions via vertical transmission.

      • 프리미돈의 한국인에서의 생체이용율시험

        A reversed phase HPLC method was developed and validated for the determination of primidone in human plasma. Propylthiouracil was used as an internal standard. Calibration curves were linear in the concentration range of 10-120 ng/㎖. The coefficient of variation of the intra- and inter-day precision were below 15%. The coefficient of variation of the accuracy were below 15% in the concentration range investigated. A bioavailability study was performed using the validated HPLC method. Twenty four healthy human male volunteers were orally administered 20 mg of primidone. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated using WinNonlin. The mean values of AUC_(LAST) was 85.0±17.7 ㎍ hr/㎖, C_(max) was 4.22±1.04 ㎍/㎖, T_(max) was 1.85±1.13 hr, t_(1/2) was 17.7±2.4 hr. The pharmacokinetic parameters and the HPLC method can be used for the desigm of bioequivalence study of primidone.

        전시를 위한 토기와 청자의 복원 : 토기기대, 노형기대, 청자사이호를 중심으로

        국립김해박물관 개관전시 유물인 가야시대 土器 器臺 2점과 중앙박물관의 특별전 “고대국가의 형성” 전시회 출품 유물인 靑磁四耳壺에 대한 보존처리를 수행하였다. 육안 및 실체현미경 관찰을 통하여 처리 전 상태, 文樣과 製作技法 등을 파악하였고 이를 토대로 각 유물의 특성에 맞는 보존처리를 실시하였다. 기대는 결실부분이 커 에폭시系 복원재료를 이용해 파손된 토기 面과 직접 접착시켜 형태를 복원하고 문양과 색, 질감을 類似하게 처리하였다. 청자는 토기와 같은 복원재를 이용했지만 파손된 청자 면과 分離시켜 형태를 복원하여 해체가 가능하도록 조치한 다음 색과 질감도 구분이 되도록 처리하였다. Conservation treatment was done for the pottery-stand of Gaya period which was to be exhibited in celebration of the opening of Gimhae National Museum and for the jar of Chinese celadon which was to be exhibited in Korea National Museums special exhibition "Formation of Ancient States". Through the examinations by naked eyes and under the microscope, condition before treatment, patterns and manufacturing techniques of the objects were observed. According to these examinations, conservation treatments, suitable for each object was finished. As the pottery-stand was damaged severely, the epoxy resin was pasted directly on the broken surface of the pottery to restore the original shape and pattern, color and feeling similar to original state were given to the restored area. Although same restoration material was applied on the celadon, it was not pasted directly on the broken surface of the celadon so that the restored area could be dismantled, and color and feeling were also treated somewhat differently.

        정신지체특수학교 직업교육 혁신을 위한 교사참조요목 개발

        이 연구는 정신지체특수학교의 직업교육을 혁신하기 위해 교사참조요목을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 제7차 특수학교 교육과정의 하나인 기본교육과정의 직업교육, 전환교육, 그리고 지원고용 관련 문헌을 분석하여 교사참조요목의 초안을 마련하였고, 6명으로 구성된 직업교육 전문가 집단의 검토를 거쳐 5개영역에서 44개 문항을 개발하였다. 이 문항의 중요성에 대하여 중등부가 있는 전국 정신지체 특수학교 직업교사를 대상으로 조사연구를 실시하였다. 조사연구는 교사참조요목의 각 항목에 대한 중요성을 5점 척도의 조사지 형태로 만들어 실시하였고, 71개 학교에서 조사지가 회수되었다. 전체 조사문항에 대한 신뢰도로 Cronbach α는 .95였다. 조사결과, 교사참조요목의 교육과정은 모두 6개의 항목으로 구성되었고, 평정 점수는 4.18~4.41, 평균 점수는 4.34이었다. 교육방법은 16개의 항목에 평정점수는 3.90~4.65, 평균점수는 4.26이었다. 교육인력은 11개의 항목에 평정점수는 3.92~4.73, 평균점수는 4.31이었다. 교육시설은 6개의 항목에 평정점수 4.39~4.62, 평균점수 4.51이었다. 교육지원은 5개의 항목에 평정점수는 4.49~4.76, 평균점수 4.61이었다. 마지막으로 교사참조요목에 대한 논의와 활용 방안 개발, 현장 특수학교에서의 적용 사례 제시 등 후속연구 방안이 제안되었다. The purpose of the study was the development of teachers' reference inventory for renovation of vocational education of special schools for students with mental retardation. To investigate the purpose, the study reviewed Vocational Education Teachers' Book in 7th Basic Curriculum and literatures related to transition as well as supported employment. As a teachers' inventory, 44 items were developed in five areas based on the literature review and professionals discussion. Then, the importance of the 44 items were evaluated using 1 to 5 Likert scale by vocational special education teachers in 71 special schools among 73 special schools for students with mental retardation. The Cronbach's αof the inventory was .95. The first area, vocational education curriculum was composed of 6 items and evaluated from 4.18 to 4.41, with mean of 4.34. The second area, vocational educational method was composed of 16 items and evaluated from 3.90 to 4.65, with mean of 4.26. The third area, vocational educational personnel was composed of 11 items and evaluated from 3.92 to 4.73, with mean of 4.31. The fourth area, vocational educational facility was composed of 6 items and evaluated from 4.39 to 4.62, with mean of 4.51. Finally, the educational support for vocational education area was composed of 5 items and evaluated from 4.49 to 4.76, with mean of 4.61. The study suggested further research on the application method of the teachers' inventory and effective uses of the inventory in special schools to renovate vocational education.

      • 심전도 모니터링 계측 시스템의 개발에 관한 연구

        A wearable electrodiagram(ECG) monitoring system is a widely used non-invasive diagnostic tool for ambulatory patients who may be at risk from latent life-threatening cardiac abnormalities. In this paper. we have a portable ECG monitoring system with conductive fiber characterized by the small-size and the low power consumption. The system consists of conductive fibers, one-chip microcontroller, ECG preprocessing circuit, and monitoring software to record and analyze in PC. ECG preprocessing circuit is made of pre-amplifier with gain of 10, band-pass filter with bandwidth of 0.5-120% and 2.5V offset circuit for A/D conversion. ECG signals obtained by sensor are corrupted by noises such as a baseline wandering, 60Hz power noise and interference noise by body movement. For cancellation of noises in signals obtained by conductive fiber, we used the wavelet decomposition of wavelet transforms in MATLAB toolbox.

        가옥 및 실험실내 라돈평형인자, 비 흡착 라돈자손 비율의 일일 변동 특성

        일반가옥 및 실험실에서 라돈농도, 평형등가농도 및 평형인자의 농도 변화를 검토하였으며, 환기조건에 따른 평형인자, 비흡착 라돈자손 비율의 변동 특성을 검토하였다. 가옥 7개 지점에서의 평균 라돈농도, 평형등가농도 및 평형인자는 각각 30 Bq m^-3, 19.6 Bq m^-3 0.65였다. 한편, 실험실 3개 지점에서의 평균 라돈농도, 평형등가농도 및 평형인자는 55.0 Bq m^-3, 31.9 Bq m^-3 , 0.58였다. 실내에서의 라돈농도, 평형등가농도 및 평형인자는 새벽 및 아침시간에 높고 오후 4시부터 밤 10시 사이에 낮아지는 주기적인 특성을 나타내었다. 환기상태가 좋은 경우가 환기상태가 나쁜 경우에 비해 평형인자는 낮아지는 반면, 비 흡착 라돈자손 비율이 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으며, 평형인자는 기압, 습도에 비례하는 반면, 온도에는 반비례하는 관계를 나타내었다. The variation characteristics of radon concentration, equilibrium equivalent concentration and equilibrium factor in some houses and laboratory buildings have been studied. The variation of equilibrium factor and the unattached fraction of radon progeny with ventilation condition have been also estimated. The averages of radon concentration, equilibrium equivalent concentration and equilibrium factor were 30 Bq m^-3, 19.6 Bq m^-3 and 0.65 in seven houses, while 55.0 Bq m^-3, 31.9 Bq m^-3 and 0.58 in three laboratory buildings, respectively. The diurnal variation of radon concentration, equilibrium equivalent concentration and equilibrium factor in indoor showed a typical pattern that the radon concentration, equilibrium equivalent concentration and equilibrium factor increased at dawn and morning, while decreased at midday and evening. While the equilibrium factor rate deceased in the indoor environment which was well ventilated, the unattached fraction of radon progeny increased. The equilibrium factor was in proportion to air pressure and humidity of indoor, whereas in inverse proportion to temperature.

      • Bipolar-mode Static Induced Transistor(SIT) 소자 설계에 관한 연구

        BSIT is simulated in two-dimensional and simulation results are compared with those of experimental device. To get the accurate design data of BSIT, device operation, carrier dynamics depending on channel impurity concentration and current flows depending on gate depth are examined through two-dimensional numerical simulation. Also, conductivity modulation effect in saturation-mode is analyzed from the distribution of minority carrier and electric field. Through the above procedure, the design procedure of SIT will be more effective.
