The purpose of this study was a biota research and analysis for Close-to-nature stream restoration planning of Shinchun. The summary of this study is as follows; 1) The vascular plants in research area recorded of 45 species and insect fauna recorded of 34 species of 8 orders. As a result of table of community classification, the communities were two group; Quercus variabilis community(I), Pinus densiflora-Quercus variabilis-Quercus dentata community(II). 2) As a result of analysis on correlation of tree species, the level of significance in positive correlation between Quercus dentata and Corylus heterophyll aindicated 1% and between Pinus densiflora and Lespedeza bicolor also indicated 1%. 3) As a result of DBH analysis, it is expected that Quercus variabilis and Quercus dentata will dominateover other species in competition and its succession continuously maintains from now on in community I. In community II, it is assumed that there is a high possibility of changing into community of Quercus such as Quercus mongolica, Quercus dentata, and Quercus variabilis. 4) As a result of analysis on insect fauna, insect fauna consists of 94% of whole species as 32 species, 23 families, 8 orders. And 7 species, 7 families 4 orders was found in highly urbanized area, the vicinity of Sang-Dong bridge. 5) As mentioned above, Based on A biota fundamental research, Close-to-nature stream restoration planning were full of suggestions: i) Designating ecosystem preservation area, ii) Making Close-to-nature stream revetments, iii) Making pool-and-riffle, vi) Making decks for observation and walks for nature experience, v) Creating wetland biotope. Through these methods, it is necessary to promote bio-diversity and lead people to the space for eco-learning.

The objective of this research was to clarify the park area per person in Daegu and to provide the data for distributing the park area with each zone evenly. The results were as follows; 1) The types of green space were classified to 52 classes in forest area, agriculture area and developed area. 2) The analysis of gthe park area per person, at the 9 dong was presented over area 6㎡ and at any dong was presented below 1㎡ area or no green space. 3) The park area rate was presented at the highest in Dalsung-gun, 26.7% and at the lowest in Nam-gu, 1.2%. In comparison to urban park area rate in Daegu 8.9%, over rate was presented 3 zone and in the rest zones were presented below 6%. We concluded that concentration of the park area rate in some zone was serious.
태반 조기박리에서 주산기 예후와 관련된 산과적 요인에 대한 연구

목적: 태반 조기박리에서 주산기 예후에 영향을 미치는 산과적 요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 방법: 2000년 1월부터 2007년 12월까지 인제대학교 상계 백병원에 입원하여 태반 조기박리를 진단받고 분만한 54예의 임상 기록지를 관찰, 분석하였다. 결과: 태반 조기박리의 빈도는 0.55%였고, 연령별 분포에서 26세에서 30세의 산모가 가장 높은 빈도 (42.1%)를 나타냈다. 임상 증상으로는 질출혈이 57.4%로 가장 많았고 자궁내 태아사망이 9.3%를 차지하였다. 주산기사망률은 13.0%였으며 모성 사망률은 없었다. 태반 조기박리의 38.9%는 임신주수 33주에서 36주 사이에 진단되었다. 태반 조기박리의 38.9%는 분만 전에 초음파로 진단되었고 9.3%는 만성 태반 조기박리였다. 태반 조기박리의 원인으로는 원인을 알 수 없는 경우를 제외하고 임신성 고혈압 (33.3%)이 가장 많았고 그 밖에 조기양막파수 (24.1%), 자궁근종 (3.7%), 만성 고혈압 (1.9%), 흡연력 (1.9%) 등이 있었다. 특히 임신 중 고혈압이 동반된 경우는 태아곤란증이 정상 혈압 임신부에 비해 의미 있게 높은 빈도를 보였다 (63.2% vs 20.0%, P-value: 0.005). 태반 조기박리에서 주산기사망에 통계학적으로 의미 있는 영향을 미치는 산과적 요인은 임신주수와 태반 조기박리의 중증도였으며 임신주수가 빠르면 빠를수록 (mean G.A (days): 194±32.8 vs 248.12±28.0, P-value<0.001), 태반 조기박리의 정도가 심하면 심할수록 (P-value: 0.005) 주산기 예후는 좋지 않았다. 태반 조기박리의 가장 흔한 합병증은 DIC (16예, 29.6%)였고 Couvelaire uterus (4예, 7.4%), 자궁파열 (1예, 1.9%)순이었다. 결론: 태반 조기박리에서 주산기 예후와 관련이 있는 산과적 요인은 진단 당시 임신주수와 태반 조기박리의 중증도임을 알 수 있었다. Objective: To evaluate obstetric variables in the placental abruption that affect on perinatal mortality. Methods: We reviewed clinical data of all singleton deliveries complicated with placental abruption between January 2000 and December 2007, in Department of Ob. & Gyn., Sanggye Paik Hospital. Results: Placental abruption complicated 54 cases (0.55%) of all deliveries (n=9,903) from January 2000 to December 2007. The peak age was 26-30 years (42.1%). The most common symptom was vaginal bleeding (57.4%) and intrauterine fetal death had already occurred in 9.3%. Perinatal mortality rate was 13.0% and there was no maternal death. 38.9% of placental abruption occurred between 33 to 36weeks of gestational age. 38.9% of placental abruption was diagnosed before delivery with ultrasonography and 9.3% was chronic placental abruption. 33.3% of placental abruption was associated with preeclampsia, and then associated with PPROM (24.1%), uterine myoma (3.7%), chronic hypertension (1.9%) and smoking (1.9%). When the hypertensive disorders were associated, fetal distress rate was higher than normotensive pregnancy (63.2% vs 20.0%, P-value: 0.005). Mean gestational age (days) (194±32.8 vs 248.12±28.0, P-value<0.001) and the severity of placental abruption (P-value: 0.005) affect perinatal mortality in placental abruption. The most common complication of placental abruption was DIC (16 cases, 29.6%), followed by Couvelaire uterus (4 cases, 7.4%) and uterine rupture (1 case, 1.9%). Conclusion: Obstetric variables that affect perinatal mortality were gestational age at the diagnosis and the severity of placental abruption.
Retinyl retinoate as cosmetic anti-aging ingredients: new hybrid retinoid derivatives

Retinoids (vitamin A and vitamin A derivatives), such as retinol (ROL) and retinoic acid (RA), have received a great deal of attention by the cosmetics industry for their use as anti-wrinkle agents. However, neither RA nor ROL are widely used due to skin irritation and poor photostability, respectively. For this reason, safety and photo-stability have been important issues for the continued development of RA or ROL derivatives. To improve the photo-stability of retinol, a new hybrid, retinyl retinoate, was synthesized with a condensing reaction to form an ester bond between ROL (which has a hydroxyl end group) and RA (which has a carboxyl end group); the biological activity of the hybrid was also analyzed. Retinyl retinoate, a novel hybrid derivative, has better chemical stability, reduced skin irritant properties, and higher skin regeneration activity than either ROL or RA alone, and is thus a promising anti-wrinkle agent.

We have proposed an InGaAs-based gateall-around (GAA) tunneling field-effect transistor (TFET) with a stacked dual-metal gate (DMG). The electrical performances of the proposed TFET are evaluated through technology computer-aided design (TCAD) simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed TFET demonstrates improved DC performances including high on-state current (Ion) and steep subthreshold swing (S), in comparison with a single-metal gate (SMG) TFET with higher gate metal workfunction, as it has a thinner sourcechannel tunneling barrier width by low workfunction of source-side channel gate. The effects of the gate workfunction on Ion, the off-state current (Ioff), and S in the DMG-TFETs are examined. The DMG-TFETs with PNPN structure demonstrate outstanding DC performances and RF characteristics with a higher n-type doping concentration in the In0.8Ga0.2As source-side channel region.
Biotope Networking in a Metropolitan Area of Daegu -The Case of Susung gu-

The biotope network of Susung gu is characterized as dense residence zones forming its core that enable partial biotope in and around the residential zones. First, in district I, it is possible to make these zones connected to the third district. In district II, which is abundant in biotope, it is very important not to continue destoyi9ng the existing biotopes. In the case of district III, old residence zones have fill the severe gap between forests and the Sinchun river, through redevelopment, which covers more than 30% of the biotope area with large scaled linear residence areas. In the case of district IV, limited destruction of biotope and the improvement of nature areas were suggested as the alternative for preservation of biotopes. Consequently, in the construction of the biotope network in Su-sung gu, the maintenance of existing biotopes is required. Int he old residence zones, as redevelopment occurs, by maintaining biotope area of more than 30% and making the scale of residential complexes more than 1ha, it is possible for old residence zones to accomplish the role of providing important green spaces. In the case of newly developed residential zones, by reducing the rate of pavement of traffic conducts, utilizing small sized parks at the junctions and the plantation of trees along the corridors, the entire residence zones are able to accomplish the role of providing important green space. The problem houses and connecting the inner green space of the private houses with the green spaces of the streets in some areas. Futhermore, green spaces of forests must not be used for urban development. Dual planting on sidewalks, planting plots dispersed among streets and median strips must be established on road, too.

Herein, we report a case of multiple systemic arteries to pulmonary artery fistulas without any underlying causes, presenting recurrent hemoptysis. Transcatheter embolization was successfully performed several times on multiple systemic feeding arteries. Multiple systemic arteries to pulmonary fistulas can be a source of uncontrolled bleeding, and embolization may be a reasonable therapeutic option to control the bleeding.
