        凝視與現身 -談臺灣工地書寫的抒情主體

        臺灣「工地書寫」於近兩年間興起,本文以林立青、曾文昌作品為例,透過比較其異同,探究非虛構寫作中的抒情主體。林立青以工地主任凝視工地人事物,其位置既是又不是工人,憑藉特殊的視野照見工地與工人在臺灣社會中所受忽視、歧視,以及其中的階級與權力。曾文昌身為鐵工師傅,自我表述人生經歷、價值觀、職業守則,此一現身已經接近自傳的形式。兩相對照,正可看出臺灣工地書寫中的抒情主體的真(Authenticity)與誠(Sincerity)。 The ‘construction site writing(工地書寫)’ has been popular in the past two years in Taiwan. This article takes Lin Li-Ching (林立青) and Tseng Wen-chang (曾文昌)’s works as examples toexplore the lyrical subject in non-fiction writing by comparing their similarities and differences. Lin, as the director of various construction works, puts his eyes on the people on the sites. As heholds double identities both as a worker and supervisor, he develops a special vision to reflect onthe neglect and discrimination on construction workers in Taiwan society, as well as the issues ofclass and power implied. As a blacksmith, Tseng self-describes his life experiences, values, andprofessional codes in his book. The appearance is almost an autobiography. By contrasting thesetwo authors, we can see the sincerity and authenticity of the lyrical subject in Taiwan’sconstruction site writing.

        凝視與現身 ―談臺灣工地書寫的抒情主體

        대만 ‘현장 서사(工地書寫)’가 최근 2년 사이에 일어나, 본문은 임립청, 증문창의 작품을 예로 들며, 그 차이를 비교하여, 논픽션 작품에서의 서정 주체를 탐구하였다. 임립청은 현장 주임으로 공사 현장의 일을 응시하고 있는데, 그 위치는 노동자이자 또한 노동자가 아닌 특수한 시야로 현장과 노동자들이 대만 사회에서 무시당하고 차별을 받는 것, 그리고 그중의 계급과 권력을 밝힌다. 철공 사부로서 인생역정, 가치관, 직업수칙을 스스로 밝힌 증문창은 자서전에 가까운 모습을 보였다. 서로 대조하여 대만 건설현장에서 쓰고 있는 서정의 주체인진(Authenticity)과 성(Sincerity)을 보여준다.         敘事與訴說

        The definition of genres in Taiwan literature has undergone significant change in recent years. The transformation from “prose” to “non-fiction writing” manifests not only the confirmation of authenticity in the content, but also the innovation of expression in literary form. This paper discusses the emerging “Construction Site Writing” in Non-fiction writing and analyzes the formal expression of Lin Li-Ching (林立青) and Tseng Wen-Chang (曾文昌)"s works: Lin inherits the narrative skills from realistic literature and expresses the reality on construction sites through dialogue, vocabulary, dramatic structure, ending with negative sentences; Tseng represents his own construction site experience through a consistent narrator “I”, the chronological structure, and the use of words which are to make readers at the scene. Through the investigation of these two authors, it can be known that the focus of the Construction Site Writing should not be the issue of qualification of its writers, but rather, we should focus on how literary form is used to reflect the reality on the construction sites and how it presents the life situation on the sites.

        黑暗之光:談蘇曉康《離魂歷劫自序》、《寂寞的德拉瓦灣》

        The Tiananmen incident, which occurred in 1989, caused a number of political exiles. Among them, Su Xiaokang suffered not only the political exile but also a heavy highway accident, from which he and his wife Fu Li survived. During the process of Fu Li's rehabilitation, Su completed "A Memoir of Misfortune(離魂歷劫自序)" and "Lonely Delaware Bay(寂寞的德拉瓦灣)". First, this paper compars the different emphasis, the psychological coping and turning of the two books. Second, this paper observes Su's process from the exile to the diaspora, and then to the end of the diaspora stage. Finally, this paper tries to analyze the dynamics between the individual and the collective in this process, the elimination of personal experience by the official narrative, and the reconstruction of social location by individual. 發生於1989年的六四天安門事件造成了一批政治流亡者,其中蘇曉康在政治流亡之外,又遭遇重大車禍。在陪同照護妻子傅莉復健的過程中,先後完成《離魂歷劫自序》與《寂寞的德拉瓦灣》。本文比較二書內容的不同偏重,前後相承的心理應對與轉折,觀察從流亡到離散、再到結束離散階段的過程,並試圖探析此一過程中個體與群體的相對關係,官方敘事對個人經歷的抹滅,以及個人對一己所處位置的重建。

        學院內外:從文化資本看臺灣一九七○世代詩人

        This paper takes The Selected Poems of 1970-Generation Poets in Taiwan(compiled by Chen, Hao[陳皓] and Yang Tsong-han[楊宗翰]) as the research object. Taking a comprehensive survey on the main education and experiences of the 1970-generation Taiwan poets, it cna be observed that most of these poets graduated from college. With similar academic training, these poets share some common grounds in their cultural capital. From this perspective, this paper explores the real world and textual world in the works of poets of 1970-generation and discusses the gender writing of female poets and male poets. It can be seen that female poets concern more on female issues and how they differ in styles; meanwile, male poets inherit the tradition of love poems and develop on the basis of it. This study aims to provide a possible attempt for generational research and poetry history writing. 本論文以陳皓、楊宗翰編《臺灣一九七○世代詩人詩選集》為研究對象,整理臺灣1970世代詩人的主要學經歷,觀察到他們多數出身學院,因為學術養成過程,而在文化資本有共通之處。由這個角度,本文探究1970世代詩人作品中的現實世界與文本世界,並分別討論女詩人與男詩人的性別書寫,看出女詩人在女性議題上的共同關心與表現形式差異。以及男詩人對傳統情詩的繼承與拓展,希望藉此為世代研究、詩史撰寫提供一個可能的嘗試。

        多重的城市:關於初唐幾首帝京詩作

        After Hanfu(漢賦), Emperor Taizong of Tang(唐太宗), Luo Bin-Wang(駱賓王) and Lu Zhao-Lin(盧照鄰) also recited for the capital by poems in Early-Tang Dynasty. However, about the capital Chang-An(長安), there were some differences among their eulogies. This paper researched the details of terrain,buildings, neighborhood and life in their works. How did they watch the city? According to their watching,what did they concern with? Because each of them had some different points of view about politics, powerand social class, there were something visible and invisible in their own vision. Consequently, they hadconstructed the capital Chang-An as a multiple and complicated city. 在漢賦之後,初唐有唐太宗李世民、駱賓王、盧照鄰以詩歌詠頌京城,但三者所歌詠的長安城卻不盡相同。本文依據三人筆下都城的形勢、建築、街道、生活等細節,析論他們如何看待長安城?所看到的長安城彰顯出各自關心的何種課題?因為三人對政治、權力與社會階級各有所見,同時亦有所不見,於是構成了長安城多元與繁複的面貌。

        解古構今:談洛夫≪唐詩解構≫

        洛夫≪唐詩解構≫為當代漢語詩人對唐詩的詮解與重構,可以視為中國古典詩歌擬古傳統的延續。本文首先分析洛夫針對唐詩,加以譯寫、擴寫、定寫、改寫的四種不同方式;其次,運用四種擬古手法,洛夫同時著意於詩中的敘事者,透過改作重新觀看、展演原作中的個人經驗、歷史興亡、寫作過程、詩人傳承,使「模擬」成為「擁有」。更進一步,本文希望指出,洛夫對唐詩的模擬與重構,乃是撰作教科書的企圖,意在指引後進詩人技藝的鍛鍊、情境想像與情感投射、共同體的想像等。然而這也正是本文所懷疑的:當前之世,固守單一的經典或美學判準,真的是文學創作的良途嗎?

        離散時代:以蔣曉雲八0年代以後小說為例

        After the Chinese Civil War, the Republic of China on Taiwan and the People’s Republic of China in the other side of Taiwan Strait had become rivalries. Among people of R.O.C. who leaved Mainland China toward Taiwan with the government are called ‘Waishenren(外省人)’, and people who leaved before the defeat of government toward Hong Kong or the US are become Ethnic Chinese. Because of the transfer of these people at 1949, the diaspora of half-century has begun. Although Chiang Hsiao-Yun(蔣曉雲) was born in Taipei, her parents were the outcome of such dispersed group. In this research, I have gone in depth analyzing Chiang Hsiao-Yun’s novels after she had settled in the US about 1980’s, discussing the abroad students of Taiwan in the US, outlanders and dispersed common. Some of these characters of her novels are based on existing individuals that comes from her parent’s generation and others came from people she had encountered. By adding her composing, imaginations and fabricating, these novels reflected immense collectives that experienced the days of diaspora. These three types of characters each have faced their own destinies, physical and mental problems and they all struggle to overcome these issues through relating and returning to the significance and connotation of ‘home’. Instead of the nation which is still changing in political imagining, a stable family of clear, definite consanguinity becomes the core of their life in diaspora.

      • ABO Blood Group, Epstein-Barr virus Infection and Prognosis of Patients with Non-metastatic Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

        Background: A prior study showed blood type A/AB to be associated with an increased risk of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) compared to subjects with blood type O. However, the relationship between ABO blood groups and prognosis of NPC patients is still questionable. In addition, whether Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection is associated with prognosis of NPC patients with different ABO blood groups is unclear. Materials and Methods: We conducted univariate and multivariable Cox regression analyses based on a consecutive cohort of 1,601 patients to investigate the above issues. Results: There was no significant difference in overall survival (OS) between different ABO blood groups (p=0.629), neither between A vs. non-A blood groups (p=0.895) nor AB vs. non-AB blood group (p=0.309) in univariate analyses and after adjusting for other factors. Interaction tests revealed that high immunoglobulin A against Epstein-Barr virus viral capsid antigen (VcA-IgA) level was associated with a favorable prognosis in male patients with UICC stage II disease who had an A blood type (p=0.008), compared with those with non-A blood type. In addition, male patients with an A blood group with a high blood lymphocyte level showeda tendency towards better survival in UICC stage III (p=0.096). Conclusions: ABO blood group status is not associated with the prognosis of patients with NPC. Additionally, blood group A male NPC patients with high VcA-IgA level or high blood lymphocyte counts might be correlated with a favorable prognosis in UICC stage II or III, respectively.
