본 연구는 싱가포르 시민교육이 대한민국의 도덕과 시민교육에 갖는 함의를 탐색하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 최근 개정된 2021 Character & Citizenship Education Secondary 교육과정 문서를 분석 대상으로 설정하였다. 교육과정에 나타난 싱가포르 인성·시민교육의 프레임워크, 목표, 내용을 토대로 싱가포르 시민교육의 특징과 강점을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 싱가포르 시민교육이 도덕과 시민교육에 갖는 함의를 시민교육의 강화, 교육과정의 재구조화, 내용 요소의 확대를 중심으로 도출할 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to explore the implications of Singaporean citizenship education for citizenship education of Moral & Ethics Education. To this end, the recently revised 2021 Characters & Citizenship Education Secondary curriculum document was set as an analysis target. Based on the framework, goals, and contents of Singapore's Character and Citizenship Education shown in the curriculum, we looked at the characteristics and strengths of Singapore's citizenship education. As a result, Singapore's citizenship education was able to extract three implications for Moral & Ethics education.

Objective: This research measures the regional GMV (rGMV) of the cerebellum, attention, Executive Function (EF) and we aimed to identify their correlation and sex differences in children and adolescents. Methods: Subjects comprised 114 children (male = 62, female = 52, 12.44 ± 2.99 years old) from South Korea. Participants were divided into three groups by age (age 6−9, 10−13, and 14−17). The Stroop Color and Word Test (SCWT), Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST), and Advanced Test of Attention (ATA) were used to estimate executive function. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images were analyzed with Regional Voxel-Based Morphometry Analysis. Results: The correlations between cerebellar rGMV and SCWT, WCST, and ATA subcategories showed difference by age and sex. In 6−9 age group, girls showed more overall correlations with cerebellar regions than boys, in WCST Categories Completed and ATA results. In age 10−13 group, more regions of cerebellum corresponded to SCWT subcategories in girls. Nevertheless, more correlation between cerebellar rGMV, WCST subcategories and some ATA subtests were observed in boys in the same age group. In the adolescent group, aged 14−17, boys showed more correlation with cerebellar rGMV, while girls showed little correlation. Conclusion: This study highlights that sex-different cerebellum maturation in adolescence might be correlated with EF and attention. These results provides evidence that cerebellum modulates higher cognitive functioning during child development.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to clarify the relationship between the autonomic nervous system and attention deficit hyperactivitydisorder (ADHD) rating scales and to evaluate the usefulness of heart rate variability (HRV) as a psychophysiological biomarkerfor ADHD. Materials and Methods: Subjects were recruited from outpatients in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Korea University Medical Center from August 2007 to December 2010. Subjects received methylphenidate. Time- and frequency-domain analyses of HRV, the Korean ADHD rating scale (K-ARS), and computerized ADHD diagnostic system were evaluated beforetreatment. After a 12-week period of medication administration, we repeated the HRV measurements and K-ARS rating. Results: Eighty-six subjects were initially enrolled and 37 participants completed the 12-week treatment and HRV measurements subsequent to the treatment. Significant correlations were found between the K-ARS inattention score and some HRV parameters. All of the HRV parameters, except the standard deviations of the normal-to-normal interval, very low frequency, and low frequencyto high frequency, showed a significant positive correlation between baseline and endpoint measures in completers. High frequency (HF) and the square root of the mean squared differences of successive normal-to-normal intervals (RMSSD), which are related to parasympathetic vagal tone, showed significant decreases from baseline to endpoint. Conclusion: The HRV test was shown to be reproducible. The decrease in HF and RMSSD suggests that parasympathetic dominancein ADHD can be altered by methylphenidate treatment. It also shows the possibility that HRV parameters can be used as psychophysiological markers in the treatment of ADHD.

Location Based Services (LBS) are software algorithm systems used by internet protocol capable wireless device technologies assist and/or replace Global Positioning System (GPS) with their task of acquiring and interpreting location describing data. LBS, and the data they provide, are increasingly being used by a growing number of users. As the demand for LBS grows, increasingly there is an additional requirement for more accurate indoor location position determination. Indoor localization algorithm has always been a challenge for location describing device manufacturers. This paper proposes a solution for improving accuracy while also decreasing computational requirements. Leveraging readily obtainable, cost-effective, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacons, the research details a modified trilateration algorithm utilizing weighted nodes coupled with emitter/receiver distance measuring improvements accomplished using transmitter emission fingerprinting techniques. The proposed algorithm is evaluated through thorough experimentations that produce a reduction in difference between the real and measured location. The results found are solely obtained through algorithmic solutions utilizing standardized transmission protocols and readily available devices technologies.

In contrast to the previous ARM microprocessor, the ARM Cortex-M3 processor provides a method for accelerating context switching, which is supported by dedicated hardware logic vis a software interrupt (or trap). In general, it is expected that retaining the context of a task using hardware will reduce the context switching time, but it is also known that software interrupts or traps incur their own overheads. In this study, we propose an algorithm for analyzing the performance of context switching methods in uC/OS-II the Cortex-M3. According to our experimental analysis, we obtained the same results using the algorithm in an ideal state and in a real application. We expect that the algorithms and experimental results described in this study may help embedded system designers by providing quantitative measures in the context switching time of Cortex-M3 using a real-world application.
