      • 한강 상류유역의 강우강도에 따른 수위 예측 연구

        Recently, there has been enormous damage due to river floodings caused by localized heavy rains. The direct discharge triggered by those torrential rains inflicts severe property damage on the residents of nearby areas. To minimize the possibility of river floodings in case of heavy rains and to predict the possible damage, the management of existing rainfall and water level observatories should be checked and prediction methods based on the characteristics of water usage and floodgate of nearby rivers must be further analyzed. Therefore, this research analyzed the water level change predictions on different spots with a regression equation of rainfall and water levels, using the observation data of the water level observatory in Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon Province and the rainfall observatory which are located on the upper region of the Han river.

      • 미계측 유역의 부유물질 산정을 위한 다중회귀식 개발

        The purpose of this study is to present quantitatively the influence of variables that had the largest effect on the changes in suspended solids(SS), which would cause turbid water phenomenon, among water quality factors of the non-point pollution source, and then to develop a multiple regression equation of SS and predict the water quality of ungaged watersheds so as to provide basic data to establish efficient management plans for SS which flow in rivers and lakes. To identify the correlation of SS with the amount of rainfall and the state of land use, a simple correlation analysis and a simple regression analysis were conducted respectively, Finally, a multiple regression analysis was conducted to provide that SS were set as dependent variables while the amount of rainfall, paddy fields and dry fields were set as independent variables. As a result, the amount of rainfall had the most significant influence on changes in SS, followed by dry fields and paddy fields. In addition, the multiple regression equation was developed to predict SS in unmeasurable watersheds.

      • 推計學的 貯水容量 測定에 關한 硏究

        The generated sequences of mothly flows were analyzed based on the range concept. with the optimun optimum operation rule of the reservoirs as the one which maximizes the water-use downstream the waterrelease from the reservoir was determined and with die consideration to the mean inflows and the range of monthly flows the reqiured reservoirs capacity was stochastically determind. It is suggested that the result obtained in this study would be applied to approximately estimate, in the stage of preliminary design, the required capacity of a reservoir in question with the limited information such as the mean monthly inflow and the period of reservoir operation. For the determination of a reservoir capacity Rippl's mass-curve method has been long used with the past river flow data assuming the same flow records will be repeated in the future. This study aims to find out a better method for determining the reservoir capacity by employing the analytical theory based on the stochastic process. For the present study the synthetic generation methjods of Thomas-Fiering type was used to synthetically generate 50 years of monthly river inflows to three single-purpose reservoirs and three multi-purpose reservoirs. 貯水容量을 결정하기 위한 Rippl의 累加曲線法은 과거의 流量資料가 미래에 동일한 기록으로 반복되리라는 가정하에 오랫동안 사용되어 왔다. 本 硏究의 目的은 추계학적 이론에 推計學的 貯水容量 測定에 關한 硏究 推計學的 理論에 의한 貯水用量을 결정하는 더 좋은 方法을 찾아내는데 있다. 그러므로 本 論文에서는 3개의 多目的 댐과 3개의 單一目的 댐에 대한 河川의 月 流量을 Tomas-Fiering 法으로 法으로 模擬發生하였으며 模擬發生된 월 流量은 Range 개념으로 解析하였다. 또한 물의 利用을 最大化하는 貯水池의 최적원영 法則을 利用함으로서 貯水池로 부터의 流出量을 결정하고 月 流量의 Range와 平均 流入量을 적절하게 고려함으로서 필요한 貯水容量은 推計學的으로 결정하였다. 그러므로 本 硏究에서 얻어진 結果는 基本設計 단계에서 제한된 資料, 즉 貯水池의 운영기간과 月 平均流量을 가지고 필요한 貯水池의 容量을 근사적으로 구할 수 있다.

        합리식의 확률론적 해석과 유츌계수의 적용에 관한 연구

        The rational method of estimating peak flow is used largely for the simplicity, But the accuracy of rational method is not easy to estimate, because the rational method is analyzed by the deterministic point or view and the runoff coefficients of the rational method are proposed from other countries. In this study the rational method is analyzed by the probabilistic way to be a more reliable method. The runoff coefficient is regarded to parameter that changes the probabilistic rainfall to the peak flow. The runoff coeffient for each return period is analyzed to be a reliable index which is used to estimate the peak flow of ungauged natural catchments.

      • RUSLE 방법을 이용한 만대천 유역의 토사유출량 산정

        This study was intended to estimate the soil runoff at the basin of Mandaechun where the measure needs to be taken to deal with the increasing muddy water resulting from soil runoff during wet season and torrential rain at the high reaches of the Soyang lake where highland vegetables are cultivated and soil replacement for improvement is carried out every two to three years. The study was carried out in such a way of identifying the topographic factors using geographical spatial data from Water Management Information System (WAMIS) and ARC-VIEW program and estimating the soil runoff by rainfall frequency using Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE), and furthermore, evaluating the soil runoff contribution at the basin of Mandaechun based on estimate of the soil runoff by section.

      • 춘천호내 인공습지 조성에 따른 흐름특성 분석

        Based on the data interpretation on an artificial marsh built in Chun-cheon Lake, the study analyzed flow characteristics and found that flow was unstable due to sediment of natural river but the effect of artificial marsh was similar with that of river improvement works. Flow velocity in the section of artificial marsh was found to be 1m/sec. Therefore flow velocity was stable, which could contribute to improving water quality. A flow velocity as well as stream vector was improved.

      • 기존 세굴심 산정식의 적정성 검토 및 세굴심 산정식 개발에 대한 실험적 연구

        In this study, the investigation of hydraulic characteristics and the pier data for the rivers in Youngseo area of Gangwon Province was carried out and the evaluation and comparison between the values from existing formulas and the values from the model tests was conducted, along with the statistical sensitivity analysis of the elements influencing the scour. As a result, the deviation between the values calculated from the existing formulas and the model tests appeared to be 1.09%∼63.98% as the piers were getting larger, which indicated that the existing formulas were not appropriate to estimate the scour in the rivers in Gangwon area. And the formula which estimates the scour with the size of the pier only, among the existing ones, was far behind in estimating the sensitivity because of insufficient incorporation of the hydraulic characteristics, though it is convenient to estimate the value. The sensitivity analysis of the value from the model tests and the depth of the scour proved the significant impact on scour by the size of the pier and water depth, indicating 64% and 36%, respectively. In this study, the formula developed through the regression analysis performed based on the values from the model tests, which appeared to be appropriate for the rivers in Gangwon Province, was proposed.

        When it is raining or snowing, floating debris flows into a lake and raises its turbidity. High level of turbidity in the lake often causes eutrophication, which pollutes the water. In order to collect and present some essential information for effective management plan for water quality, we carried out our research at the watershed of Mandae-cheon located at the upstream of Soyang Lake. We examined water quality at the time of rainfall or snowfall to analyze the changes in the amount of suspend soils(SS) in the lake.

      • 不規則波의 特性에 關한 硏究

        The remarkable economic growth achived during 1960-1980 in Korea inevitablely demanded the expansion and maintenance of the harbors and their auxiliary seashore facilities. One of the most important elements in the basic besign for the expasion of a harbor and its auxiliary facilities is, of course, the properdetermination of the design wave which reflects the major characteristics of the seashore under consideration. In this study, the parameters of significant waves for the industrial harbors on East Coast, Muck-Ho and Po-Hang, are first computed by means of computer programming using S.M.B and P.N.J methods, respectively. Then the design waves with the return periods of 5-200 years were estimated by frequency analysis of the significant waves. A comparison of the design waves with the observed wave data during the past 10 years made it possible to determine the optimum value of design wave at the two harbors. The important results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1) It seems appropriate to take the design wave hieghts with the return period of 50 years at Muck-Ho and Po-Hang as 6.9 and 5.8 meters respectively. 2) It was found that for the determination of design waves on East Coast of Korean Peninsula P.N.J method works better than S.M.B method in predicting the significant wave, and the Log-Normal distribution fits best to the wave data which were put to frequency analysis.
