For high-speed trains (HSTs), interface failures often occur in their aluminumPVC foam sandwich floor, the service life of which can affect the maintenance economy significantly. In this study, a floor model considering crushable foam layer and cohesive element was implemented to validate its bending behavior, with which the load-bearing capacity of actual floor structures under different loading conditions was analyzed. Accordingly, two strategies were presented for improving the load-bearing capacity of the floor: adding grid stiffened ribs on the aluminum layer and adjusting the layout of the supporting seats appropriately. The numerical simulation results indicated that the position of the maximum stress concentration was on the edge of the floor foam layer, and the limits of the load-bearing capacity were 50 and 575 kPa with respect to two operation conditions. By varying the supporting seats with different layouts or adding reinforced structures, the maximum stress and deflection in the critical zones were reduced significantly compared with those of the original design.
Study on Ddynamic Bargaining System Based on Machine Learning

In this paper, aiming at the learning deficiency in the given bargaining systems, the decimal code, instead of binary code, is adopted to prevent variables from going beyond limitative scope, which will cause exceptional strategy. Furthermore, a dynamic bargaining system is presented based on machine learning (MLDBS). The result of experiment shows that the agent in MLDBS not can only identify its opponents successfully but can change its strategy in term of different opponents in a bargaining process. It is shown by the experimental datum that MLDBS increase successful times of bargaining and enhance the average payoff of agent.

We previously developed an inverted frustoconical shaking bioreactor (IFSB) which had high mammalian cell culture performance when compared with a mechanically stirred tank reactor (STR) or a flat-bottom shaking bioreactor (FBSB). Here, we determined the mixing time (t) and volumetric oxygen transfer coefficient (kLa) of this IFSB at various speeds, and simulated the fluid hydrodynamics, including the shear stress and specific surface area, by computational fluid dynamics. The shortest mixing time was observed in a STR. The maximum kLa value of 12/h was achieved in the IFSB at an aeration rate of 4 L/h, demonstrating that our IFSB has enhanced oxygen transfer capabilities needed to meet the demands of mammalian cells. Simulation studies revealed a 3% greater specific surface area and a 21% lower shear strain in the IFSB compared to an FBSB under the same conditions. Additionally, the conical angle of the vessel, which significantly affected cell growth and recombinant protein production,was tested here. We conclude that, compared to the STR and FBSB, the IFSB has an increased liquid surface area for oxygen uptake and exhaust CO_2 stripping,an enhanced k_La for cell robust growth to a high cell density, and a lower shear stress to alleviate cell damage.

The Neoproterozoic successions in the Aksu region, NW China, which lies unconformably on the Precambrian Aksu Group basement, comprises the Qiaoenbrak, Yuermeinak, Sugetbrak, and Chigebrak formations (from bottom to top). The two lowermost units include two distinct glacial diamictites, which indicate distinct episodes of glaciations. We report the major and trace element (including rare earth element) data for the Qiaoenbrak, Yuermeinak, and Sugetbrak formations to identify the paleoclimatic perturbations. The chemical index of alteration (CIA) values show variations from Qiaoenbrak to Yuermeinak, then Sugetbrak formations. The diamictites have relatively lower chemical index of alteration values (45.23–59.64) than inter-, post- and non-glacial sediments (48.28–66.96). This result supported the condition that the diamictites underwent relatively weak chemical weathering from a dry-cold sedimentary environment, which is associated with the sedimentary facies description. The lower Neoproterozoic successions recoded at least two glaciations, one is Qiaoenbrak glaciation and the other is Yuermeinak glaciation.
Texture superpixels merging by color-texture histograms for color image segmentation

Pre-segmented pixels can reduce the difficulty of segmentation and promote the segmentation performance. This paper proposes a novel segmentation method based on merging texture superpixels by computing inner similarity. Firstly, we design a set of Gabor filters to compute the amplitude responses of original image and compute the texture map by a salience model. Secondly, we employ the simple clustering to extract superpixles by affinity of color, coordinates and texture map. Then, we design a normalized histograms descriptor for superpixels integrated color and texture information of inner pixels. To obtain the final segmentation result, all adjacent superpixels are merged by the homogeneity comparison of normalized color-texture features until the stop criteria is satisfied. The experiments are conducted on natural scene images and synthesis texture images demonstrate that the proposed segmentation algorithm can achieve ideal segmentation on complex texture regions.
Saliency-Assisted Collaborative Learning Network for Road Scene Semantic Segmentation

Semantic segmentation of road scene is the key technology of autonomous driving, and the improvement of convolutional neural network architecture promotes the improvement of model segmentation performance. The existing convolutional neural network has the simplification of learning knowledge and the complexity of the model. To address this issue, we proposed a road scene semantic segmentation algorithm based on multi-task collaborative learning. Firstly, a depthwise separable convolution atrous spatial pyramid pooling is proposed to reduce model complexity. Secondly, a collaborative learning framework is proposed involved with saliency detection, and the joint loss function is defined using homoscedastic uncertainty to meet the new learning model. Experiments are conducted on the road and nature scenes datasets. The proposed method achieves 70.94% and 64.90% mIoU on Cityscapes and PASCAL VOC 2012 datasets, respectively. Qualitatively, Compared to methods with excellent performance, the method proposed in this paper has significant advantages in the segmentation of fine targets and boundaries.
Tests of New Box Steel Replaceable Piers Under Axial Compression

A new recoverable box steel bridge column with bottom replaceable piers was proposed. The axial compressive tests were initially performed on fourteen specimens which have three diff erent types of steel replaceable piers. Results demonstrate that all three types of structural measures improve the specimens’ strength and deformation performance. Compared to the installing of the low yield point steel plates, the embedded shell plates and the longitudinal ribs on the box walls result in a greater increase of the specimens’ bearing capacity and ductile performance. When the specimen has the longitudinal ribs installed on the box walls and the smaller space of transverse stiff eners, its bearing capacity is increased. The specimens’ ductility is improved when the space of transverse stiff eners and the height of low yield point steel plates decrease. The specimens’ bearing capacity and ductility are only slightly aff ected by the variation of the embedded shell’s radian. Finally, a simplifi ed calculation formula for the axial compressive bearing capacity of the bottom replaceable piers is proposed.
