A self-microemulsifying drug delivery system (SMEDDS) was developed to increase the dissolution rate, solubility, and ultimately bioavailability of a poorly water soluble drug, lovastatin. SMEDDS was the mixtures of oils, surfactants, and cosurfactants, which emulsify under conditions of gentle agitation, similar to those which would be encountered in the gastro-intestinal (GI) tract. Various types of self-emulsifying formulations were prepared using four types of oil (Capryol 90, Lauroglycol 90, Labrafil M 1944 CS and Labrafil M 2125), two surfactants (Cremophor EL and Tween 80), and three cosurfactants (Carbitol, PEG 400 and propylene glycol). The efficiency of emulsification was studied using a laser diffraction size analyzer to determine particle size distributions of the resultant emulsions. Optimized formulations selected for bioavailability assessment were Carpryol 90 (40%), Cremophor EL (30%) and Carbitol (30%). SMEDDS containing lovastatin (20 mg and 5 mg) were compared to a conventional lovastatin tablet (Mevacor^? , 20 mg/tab) by the oral administration as prefilled hard gelatin capsules to fasted beagle dogs for in vivo study. The area under the serum concentration-time curve from time zero to the last measured time in serum, AUC_0→24h, was significantly greater in SMEDDS, suggesting that bioavailability increase 130% and 192% by the SMEDDS, respectively. The self-emulsifying formulations of lovastatin afforded the improvement in absolute oral bioavailability relative to previous data of lovastatin tablet formulation. These data indicate the utility of dispersed self-emulsifying formulations for the oral delivery of lovastatin and potentially other poorly absorbed drugs.

The purpose of this syudy was to investigate the effect of rest levels and preexercise types on the ruselts of measurement of physical fitness. The subjects were 60 males who were belonging to I university in Inchon and were divide into 6 gropes which were classfied in accordance with 6 rest and preexercise conditions randomly. The rest levels were two level which were just after exercise and 5 minute arter exercise, the preexercise types were jogging and juvenile gymnastic. The tested items were back muscle strength in strength, body flexion in flexibility, sidestep test and whole body reaction time in agility, and surgent jump in power. All data were analyzed by two - way ANOVA in each tested item. The conclusion were as following ; 1. The preexercise types and rest levels were not significantly effected on the results of strength test in physical fitness. 2. The preexercise types and levels were not significantly effected on the results of agility test in physical fitness. 3. The preexercise types and levels were significantly effected on the results of flexbility test in physical fitness. 4. The preexercise types and rest levels were not significantly effected on the results of power test in physical fitness.

La recherche constant de l' ailleurs est l'element le plus caracteristique d'Emma Bovary. Cest elle qui la mene jusqu'a la mort. Ce n'est pas la recherche d'un endroit qui soit loin d'un ici mais celle d'un espace imaginaire, espace ideal. L'espace ideal ne pouvant jamais etre atteint, le desir romantique d'Emma est des le debut voue a l'echec. Elle concoit une structure verticale ou le reve, l'imaginaire se situe au dessus de la realite. Dans sa liaison avec Rodolphe elle est heureuse de la sensation de "l'ascension" et de "l'ouverture"; l'ascension dans l'echelle des classes sociales et l'ouverture de la frontiere entre le reve et la realite. Mais deja dans sa relation avec Leon ses sentiments amoureux sont accompagnes de la sensation de "la descente" et la "la fermeture". Elle ne croit plus a la possibilite du passage de la frontiere entre le reve et la realite. D'ailleurs elle se sent "dechue", parce qu'elle ne s'approche plus de ses modeles du desir. La mort elle-meme est aussi la recherche de l'ailleurs chez elle. En s'apercevant du renversement de la structure verticale qu'elle concevait du rapport entre la realite et le reve, elle choisit la mort pour ne pas retourner, comme une vaincue, a la realite. Elle veut que la mort meme ne soit pas le neant mais un autre espace que la realite.

Dimensional measurement of the parts very important to produce product of good quality. Moreover on-line measurement technique is more important to get high measurement productivity. In this project on-line measurement technique of a TV monitor frame is developed. Three-axis servo mechanism, and touch prove sensor, and NC software and developed in this study. Developed system showed accuracy of 0.05mm repeatability, which is good enough to cover dimensional tolerance of the frame.

암의 위험요인과 예방

Cancer is one of the main cause of death worldwide. There are about 10 million new cases every year, and more than 6 million persons will die of the disease in a year. Many factors are responsible for the recent increase in cancer. Changing lifestyles, in particular as regards tobacco smoking, alcohol drinking and diet, also play a crucial part. Several different types of scientific studies contribute to identifying the causes of human cancer. IARC's prestigious series of Monographs on the Evaluation of Carcinogenic Risks to Humans publishes authoritative reports on the risks posed by potentially carcinogenic agents and exposures. Most cancers are thought to be caused by factors related to lifestyle and environment. In particular, tobacco, chronic infections and diet are involved in a substantial number of new cancers. Tobacco is responsible for about 15% of all cancers throughout the world. Chronic infections with viruses, bacteria and parasites are responsible for 16% of all cancers. It has been hypothesized that 30% of all cancers could be prevented by appropriate diet and physical activity. Other known causes of cancer, such as occupational, genetic, and reproductive factors, plays a lesser role in the global burden of cancer. Many types of cancer seem to be cluster in families, occurring more often in close relatives of affected individuals. The risks that a person inheriting a defect in a person inheriting a defect in a cancer susceptibility gene will develop a certain type of cancer must be estimated, and the role of environmental factors in modifying these risks must be ascertains. Researches into the causes of cancer has revealed how many of the most common cancers can be prevented. Detection of many forms of the disease at an early stage can greatly improve the prospects for effective treatment, reducing deaths and enhancing quality of life.

개량형 버즈수업법에 대한 연구

서양 정신문화의 뿌리이자, 서양 최초의 사설(私設) 교사인 소크라테스는 학생을 가르침에 있어서 토론식 대화 방법을 사용하였다. 플라톤의 여러 저서에 나타나 있는 바와 같이, 소크라테스는 집요한 질문을 통하여 상대방으로 하여금 먼저‘무지’를 자인케한 다음, 대화를 통하여 상대방이 자신의 능력을 사용하여 스스로 지적인 문제를 해결하게 하였던 것이다. 그런데 소크라테스의 학맥을 잇는 아리스토텔레스는 토론식 대화법이 아닌 강의식방법을 사용하여 제자들을 가르쳤다. 그가 세운 학교인 뤼케이온에서는 강의법이 교육의 주 방법이었던 것이다. 그리고 이 강의식 방법은 서양의 주류 종교인 기독교와 결합하면서 서양의 주류적 교육방법으로 정착하였다. 다시 말해 가톨릭이 막강한 권력을 행사했던 중세 시절, 절대적 신의 존재, 신의 말씀을 담은 성경내용, 그리고 신의 대리인으로서 교황 및 사제의 정당성에 대하여 교사와 학생 간에 질문을 주고받거나, 토론의 형태로 비평‧비판하는 일은 절대로 있을 수 없는 것이기에 권위자에 의한 일방적인 정보 지식 전달식인 강의만이 수업방법으로 허락되었다. 그리고 이러한 경향은 종교개혁 이후에 오히려 더 강화되었다. 개신교 지도자 마르틴 루터는‘신의 두려움을 알게 해야한다’는 취지 아래 교사 중심의 일방적 전달 중심의 수업을 하라고 지도하였고, 여기에 더하여 개신교 지도자들의 공교육, 보통교육, 의무교육 주장으로 인하여 매우 크게 늘어난 학생들을 가르치기 위해서도 다수의 학생을 효율적으로 가르치는 수업방법인 강의식 방법이 불가피했던 것이다. 그런데 이같이 강의법을 중시하는 서양의 교육전통은 우리의 교육전통과는 다르다. 우리나라 전통교육은 교육방법으로서 토론식 대화를 중시하였다. 예컨대 조선조 성균관의 경우, 오늘의 대학학칙에 해당하는‘학령(學令)’11번째 조항은‘두 번째 북소리가 울리면 학생들은 각자 읽던 책을 가지고 교사에게 나아가 배운 것에 대해 질문과 변론을 통해 분명하게 이해하고 새로운 가르침을 받는다’고 되어있다. 질문과 변론이 성균관의 주 수업 방법이었던 것이다. 이것은 조선조 중등교육기관이었던 사학(四學), 향교, 서원에서 마찬가지였고, 초등학교인 서당에서도 마찬가지였다. 서당에서 학동의 공부는 주로 유학경전의 반복적 읽기를 통한 암송의 형태로 이루어지기는 했지만, 훈장은 학동에게 설명을 완전하게 해 주지 않고 학동 스스로 생각할 여지를 남기는 형태로 수업을 진행했으며, 생각해야 할 과제를 부여할 때에도 학동들이 대화식 토론을 통해서 협동적으로 해결하게 하였다(목영해, 2015 p.85). 그런데 개화기 이후 서구의 교육이념, 교육내용, 교육방법이 우리 전통교육을 제치고 교육의 주류 자리를 차지하면서, 우리나라 학교교육의 교육방법 또한 강의식 중심으로 바뀌었다. 교사가 교과서를 해설하는 일로 채워지는 수업 즉 강의식 수업이 한국교육의 일상적, 정상적, 상식적 모습이 되어버린 것이다. 이러한 강의식 수업법은 장점과 단점을 동시에 갖고 있다(변영계·김영환, 1996, p.117). 강의식 수업의 장점으로는 첫째, 정해진 시간 속에서 다양한 지식을 많은 학습자에게 동시에 가르칠 수 있고 둘째, 교육 내용을 수업상황에 따라 더하거나 빼는 등의 변화가 용이하며 셋째, 학습자의 감정 자극을 통한 직접적인 학습동기 유발이 가능하며 넷째, 다양한 예시적 설명 등을 통하여 추상적인 사물 사건에 대한 이해도를 높일 수 있다는 점이다. 요컨대 강의식 수업법의 장점은 정보 지식을 전함에 있어 효율성이 매우 높은 경제적인 수업법이다. 강의식 수업법이 갖는 단점이 여럿 있지만, 이 수업법의 치명적인 약점은 학습자가 매우 수동적인 존재 즉 정신적 노예가 된다는 점이다. 강의식 수업의 이같은 단점을 가장 잘 드러내고 있는 개념은 비판적 교육학자 프레이리(Freire)가 제안하는‘은행저금식교육(banking concept of education)’개념이다. 돼지저금통에 동전이나 지폐를 집어넣듯이 이루어지는 이 교육은 학생의 생활현실과는 무관하게 선정된 교육내용을 교사가 권위적으로 강의식 설명을 행하고, 학생은 그 설명을 듣고, 필기하고, 암기만 하는 형태의 수업방식인 은행저금식 수업방식은 학생으로 하여금 자기 생각 없이 복종적이기만 하는 비주체적인 사람이 되게 하는 것이다(1970, p.59). 강의식 수업이 학생들의 주체적인 사고력 배양에 지장을 초래하는 메카니즘은 엄마가 씹어준 음식만을 받아먹은 아이의 소화능력이 키워지지 않는 것과 같다. 엄마가 아이의 소화능력을 믿지 못해 음식을 씹어 먹이는 것과 교사가 학생들의 학습력을 믿지못해 교과서를 상세하고 명료하게 설명해주는 것은 같은 맥락의 것으로서, 교사의 상세하고도 명료한 설명에 길들여지는 학생은 학습해야 할 내용을 독자적이고 주체적으로 이해하여 습득하려 하지 않는 것이다. 따라서 우리나라의 학교교육에서와 같이 초등학교에서부터 고등학교에 이르기까지 강의식 수업만을 받은 학생은 주체적 사고력과 함께 창의적 사고력도 부족한 사람이 된다. 정신적 노예가 되는 것이다. 강의식 수업이 길러낸, 스스로 생각하는 능력과 창의적 상상력이 부족한 사람은 지나간 산업사회에도 적절하지 못한 인간상이지만, 그 부적절한 정도는 다가오고 있는 4차 산업혁명 시대에서 더욱 그러하다. 지적 자율성과 창조성을 요구하는 제4차 산업혁명시대(성태제, 2017, p.11)에는 자율적 사고력과 창의적 상상력 없는 정신적 노예 상태로 는 적응·생존이 불가능한 것이다. 이 점을 인식한 우리나라 교육정책 당국 또한 강의식 일변도의 수업을 탈피하기 위한 여러 정책을 취하고 있는 데, 그 조처 중의 하나가 토론식 수업에 관한 것이다. 설명컨대 우선 교육부는 국가수준 2015년 교육과정을 수업현장에 토론을 도입하는 내용의 것으로 구성하였고, 교육부가 2016년 12월에 공개한‘지능정보사회에 대응한 중장기 교육 정책의 방향과 전략 (試案)’이라는 이름의 보고서에서는 초·중등학교에서 강의식, 암기식 수업을 지양하고, 토의·토론· 협력수업을 본격적으로 도입할 것을 천명하였다(교육부, 2016. pp.12, 14). 그리고 이에 응하여 각 지방교육청 또한 토론식 수업이 활성화 되도록 하기 위한 여러 정책적 활동을 하고 있다. 예컨대 부산광역시 교육청의 경우 수업현장에 토론식 수 업을 도입하여 착근시키기 위해서는 교사로 하여금 토론식 수업을 진행할 수 있는 역량을 갖게 하는 일이 중요하다고 판단하여, 아래와 같은 목적을 가진 교사연수를,‘중등 다 같이 토의·토론수업 지원단 캠프’라는 이름 아래, 2016년-2017년 동안 다섯 번에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 첫째, 미래 인재 역량강화를 위한 토의·토론수업 운영 전문성 신장 둘째, 토의·토론수업의 효과적 적용을 위한 지도 역량 강화 셋째, 수업 디자인 역량을 키우며, 토의·토론수업에 대한 인식 제고 넷째, 토의‧토론수업을 위한 학교문화조성에 기여할 선도 교사 양성 위와 같은 교육정책당국의 문제의식에 공감하는 본 연구자는 한국 교실수업현장에 토론식 수업법을 도입·착근시키기 위한 조력 활동의 일환으로서 버즈(Buzz)수업에 대하여 연구하고자 한다. 토론식 수업법의 한 종류인 버즈수업법을 개관하고, 버즈수업법이 가지는 토론식 수업에서의 위상을 조명한 후, 토론식 수업에서 버즈수업이 갖는 위상에 충실하도록 설계된 버즈수업법의 발전된 형태를 도출한 다음, 발전된 버즈수업법을 수업현장에서 시험적으로 실시한 결과를 분석하고자 하는 것이다. Purpose of this study is to suggest the 'advanced buzz learning technique' and analyse on the significant of the advanced one. Instruction is the most popular teaching method in the Korean classroom. But the instruction is not appropriate to cultivate reflective and creative person that the 4th industrial society require to. The buzz learning is good to cultivate a reflective and creative persons. The buzz one is the classroom teaching-learning method that 2-3 students consist of one group and discuss about the particular topic, and than 4-6 student consist of a new group and talk about, and than 8-12 students consist of a another new group and discuss about, and then they get results on the topic. Because of the old buzz one is not enough to develop the reflective thinking, the old one is needed a writing procedure to make up for the weak point. The advanced buzz learning method is the one which the writing procedure is added.

Symbolism in "a View of the Woods" by Flannery O'Connor

Flannery O'Connor는 1950년대를 산 미국 남부의 작가이다. 그녀 자신은 천주교신자로서 세상을 보는 데서 오는 비애 혹은 관찰등을 작품 속에 반영시키고 있다. 남부에서 물질의 번창으로 인해 영혼의 중요성을 잃어가고 있는 괴상한 인물등을 주로 주인공으로 그리고 있으며, 특히, 여기서 다루어지는 작품은 작가의 세계를 대표한다고 보여지는데, 하나의 작가적 기교로서 "상징"을 사용하여 작가의 의도를 완벽하게 표현하고 있다. 상징은 그녀의 주제를 전달하는 데 있어서 필수적인 것이다. 이 작품에서 보여지는 상징으로는 "숲", "호수", "불도저" 등이 있다. 이러한 상징들은 보는 사람의 관점에 따라서 다른 의미를 주고 있는데, "발전"을 찬양하는 Mary의 할아버지 MR. Fortune에게는 "숲"이 주는 의미는 아무런 가치도 없는 것이다. Mr. Fortune에게는 "불도저"의 위력이야말로 물질적 번영의 상징인 것이다. 그러나, Mary에게는 숲이 주는 의미는 보통 물질에 물이 든 사람에게는 보여지지 않는 상징적 가치를 지니고 있다. 그야말로 "정신 세계"를 대표한다고 볼 수 있다. "호수"는 인공적으로 전기회사가 만들어 놓은 것인데 그 주위에 땅을 소유하고 있는 Mr. Fortune에게 "부"의 기회를 가져다 주는 원인이 되고 있다. 호수 주위에 신흥오락시설을 설치함으로써 돈을 벌려는 상혼과 거기에 의기투합하는 Mr. Fortune하고, 죽음을 무릅쓰고 그 영혼을 잃어 버리고 사는 속인들에 항거하는 Mary하고의 비교는 "상징"을 통해 명백히 묘사되고 있는 것이다. 결국은, 인간은 나만이 잘 살겠다는 인식을 가지고 개개인이 갖는 세계적인 연결성을 부수려고 할 때는 자신의 파멸은 물론이고 주위의 파멸도 초래한다는 교육적인 이야기이다. 그러나 Mary의 끝까지 부르짖는 소리-즉-"숲의 경치를 볼 수 없다", "나는 순전히 나의 아버지의 자식이다"는 어리지만 자연과 인간의 연결성(인간과 인간의 연결성)을 부르짖는 영원의 소리인 것이다. 우리 독자는 용기를 가지고 이 연결성을 항상 기억해야 될 것이다.

가스저장탱크에서 가스저장량의 퍼지 제어 방식

This paper suggests a fuzzy control algorithm which manipulates the quantity of gas in a gas storage tank to a given reference value. Fuzzy control rules proposed in this paper are divided into two groups. The first is to treat the quantity of gas in a gas storage tank, and the second is to manipulate the quantity in pipe which is utilized in moving gas from gas source to a gas storage tank. Fuzzy control rules to treat two control problems mentioned above are designed independently by investigating several special points having inherent features for given assumed possible response characteristics in the sense of common-sense and engineer's technical knowledge. In order to observe the validity of fuzzy control algorithm for manipulating the quantity of gas in a gas storage tank suggested in this paper, computer simulations are done for three cases, which the quantity of generated gas and the required quantity in load have time-varying patterns. Computer simulation results show that fuzzy control rules designed in this paper are well operated for every case.
