함정혜(Chung Hae Hahm) 한국여성체육학회 2013 한국여성체육학회지 Vol.27 No.1
The purpose of this study was to compare the differences of moral reasoning among general students, sports related majors students, and student athletes in Korea and Japan University. We collected total 612 out of 700 (315 from Korea, 297 from Japan) and 88 questionnaires were excluded questionnaire due to incompleteness and unreliable data. For this study, Hahm-Bellar Values Choice Inventory-16(HBVCI-16), which is a Moral Reasoning Questionnaire on Sports Activities, was used. The collected data was analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA and two way ANOVA with using SPSS Var. 17.0 statistical package program and result were as follow. First, the Japan student`s overall score of moral reasoning were lower compare to Korean university students. Second, there were 1 % higher score of moral reasoning in woman against man and in younger subjects. Sports majored university students presented 1% higher score against other related students and higher grade students presented 5% higher score against lower grade students. Third, among student athletes of Korea and Japan, although there were no significant differences, it was 0.1% higher among those who engaged in individual sports and 5% higher score in those who have less sports career.
A Model for Computer-Aided Process Planning System in Flexible Manufacturing Systems
Kang, Young-Sig,Hahm, Hyo-Joon,Rim, Suk-Chul,Kim, Seung-Baum The Korean Society for Quality Management 1994 품질경영학회지 Vol.22 No.1
Most of computer-aided process planning(CAPP) systems have been developed to automate the process planning function. In this paper, we describe an analytical model for a CAPP system in order to improve the performance of production system in flexible manufacturing systems(FMSs) for computer intergrated manufacturing(CIM) architecture. This paper proposes an optimal process planning that minimizes the load time by minimizing the cycle time and the number of workstations using Kang and Hahm's heuristic approach so as to improve the performance of production system under the batch production of discrete products. We also perform simulation using SIMAN language to campare the line utilization of each for various product types. The proposed algorithm can be implemented in existing FMSs for on-line control of product quantity using programmable logic controllers(PLC) and communication devices.

<P>Glycosylation is one of the most important posttranslational modifications for proteins, including therapeutic antibodies, and greatly influences protein physiochemical properties. In this study, glycopeptide mapping of a reference and biosimilar recombinant antibodies (rAbs) was performed using liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS) and an automated Glycoproteome Analyzer (GPA) algorithm. The tandem mass analyses for the reference and biosimilar samples indicate that this approach proves to be highly efficient in reproducing consistent analytical results and discovering the implications of different rAb production methods on glycosylation patterns. Furthermore, the comparative analysis of a mutagenized rAb glycoprotein proved that a single amino acid mutation in the Fc portion of the antibody molecule caused increased variations in glycosylation patterns. These variations were also detected by the mass spectrometry method efficiently. This mapping method, focusing on precise glycopeptide identification and comparison for the identified glycoforms, can be useful in differentiating aberrant glycosylation in biosimilar rAb products.</P>
Pilomatricoma : A Clinical and Histopathologic Study of 13 Cases
Hahm, Jeong Hee,Cho, Soyun,Whang, Kyu Kwang 대한피부과학회 2000 Annals of Dermatology Vol.12 No.3
Background : Pilomatricoma is a rare benign follicular tumor in Asians. Objective: The purpose of this study was to assess the clinical and histopathological features of the tumor. Methods : The hospital charts and slides of 13 patients with pilomatricoma over a 12-year period at Ewha Womans University Tongdaemun Hospital were retrospectively reviewed. Results : The age of patients ranged from 5 to 76 years with a mean of 21.5 years. The male to-female ratio was 1:3.3. Seventy-seven percent of the tumors were located on the upper and lower extremities, followed by the face and neck. Most tumors appeared as a pea-sized hard movable skin-colored nodule. At histopathologic level, the most common morphological stage was the early regressive stage (stage 3), followed by late regressive (stage 4), fully developed (stage 2), and early (stage 1) stages. Foreign body giant cells, calcification, ossification were seen in 69.2%, 84.6%, and 7.7%, respectively; giant cells and inflammatory infiltrate were mostly seen in stage 3 tumors, calcification in stage 3 and 4 tumors, and ossification, only in the sole stage 4 tumor. Anetodermic changes of overlying dermis were seen in 2 cases (15.4%). Conclusion : The various histopathologic features of pilomatricoma can be explained by its chronological, morphological stages. Most pilomatricomas present for longer than 6 months are already in stage 3, and one can expect the histopathological features accordingly.

<P>Although stomach cancer screening is effective for reducing mortality, it is underutilized in Korea. By applying an extended theory of planned behavior model, our objective was to determine how personal background factors influence a patient's inclination to be screened for stomach cancer. The study population was derived from the 2006 Korean National Cancer Screening Survey, which was done to investigate the participation of the general population in cancer screening. In total, 1,509 Koreans who were 40 to 70 years old participated in this study. Path analysis was used to test a conceptual model in which (a) factors considered as precursors to be screened (components in theory of planned behavior model) directly predicted the intention to be screened and (b) personal background factors, including sociodemographic factors, previous screening experience, economic status, and perceived risk, indirectly influenced the intention to be screened through their effects on cognitive components such as attitude and subjective norm in the theory of planned behavior model. Most of the personal background factors did not directly influence intention but instead influenced cognitive elements in the theory of planned behavior model. Attitude and perceived behavioral control were well correlated with a patient's intention, regardless of the screening cost.</P>
Pilomatricoma Combined with Epidermoid Cyst
Hahm, Jeong Hee,Cho, Soyun,Whang, Kyu Kwang 대한피부과학회 2000 Annals of Dermatology Vol.12 No.3
A 22-year-old woman with no history of trauma or other diseases presented with a slowly enlarging firm nodule with a central pointed opening on the right chest. An excisional biopsy revealed a pilomatricoma associated with an epidermoid cyst. Histopathologically, an epidermoid cyst located in the deep dermis was lined mostly by keratin-forming stratified squamous epithelium but focally had columns of shadow cells that projected from the epithelial lining of the cyst into the lumen. The lumen also contained masses of shadow cells, unattached to the epithelial lining. In the stroma surrounding the cyst, numerous masses of shadow cells with giant cell reaction and focal calcification were seen, which were in turn surrounded by a connective tissue capsule. 'These features are similar to those seen in infundibular cysts associated with Gardner's syndrome. Since epidermoid cysts and pilomatricomas originate in common from the pilosebaceous unit and pilomatricomas begin as infundibular matrix cysts, we suggest that they can occur simultaneously, although rarely, in a healthy person.

CA(1-8)-ME(1-12) [CA-ME], composed of cecropin A(1-8) and melittin(1-12), is a synthetic antimicrobial peptide having potent antibacterial and antitumor activities with minimal hemolytic activity. In order to investigate the effects of the flexible hinge sequence, Gly-Ile-Gly, of CA-ME on antibiotic activity, CA-ME and three analogues, CA-ME1, CA-ME2 ,and CA-ME3, were synthesized. The Gly-Ile-Gly sequence of Ca-ME was deleted in CA-ME1 and replaced with Pro and Gly-Pro-Gly in CA-ME2 and CA-ME3, respectively. CA-ME1 and CA-ME3 showed a significant decrease in antitumor activity and phospholipid vesicle-disrupting ability. However, CA-ME2 showed similar antitumor and vesicle-disrupting activities, as compared with CA-ME. These results suggest that the flexibility or β-turn induced by Gly-Ile-Gly or Pro in the central part of CA-ME may be important in the electrostatic interaction of the N-terminus cationic α-helical region with the cell membrane surface and the hydrophobic interaction of the C-terminus amphipathic α-helical region with the hydrophobic acyl chains in the cell membrane. CA-ME3 exhibited lower antitumor and vesicle-disrupting activities than CA-ME and CA-ME2. This result suggests that the excessive β-turn structure caused by the Gly-Pro-Gly sequence in CA-ME3 seems to interrupt ion channel/pore formation in the lipid bilayer. We concluded that the appropriate flexibility or bilayer. We concluded that the appropriate flexibility or β-turn structure provided by the central hinge is responsible for the effective antibiotic activity of the antimicrobial peptides with the helix-hinge-helix structure.
