A novel design technology for a high frequency electronic ballast for metal-halide discharge lamps is proposed. A PFC technique is adopted to get unit power factor and output frequency alteration technique is adopted to avoid acoustic resonance. For characteristics evaluation, the designed electronic ballast is presented using normalized parameter. To reduce losses of the ballast, ZVS control technique is adopted and the maximum flux density of magnetic core for inductor should be kept lower. The electronic ballast for 250[W] metal-halide discharge lamp is implemented and 96[%] efficiency and low conducted EMI level are accomplished.
직류 전원 분할용 커패시터 용량 변화에 따른 ZVS-LCC형 고주파 공진 인버터에 관한 연구

본 논문은 ZVS를 이용한 LCC형 고주파 공진 인버터에 사용되는 직류 전원 분할용 커패시터의 용량을 변화 시켰을 경우 제안회로의 특성과 회로설계의 일 예를 나타내고 있다. ZVS로 알려진 소프트 스위칭은 스위칭시 턴온과 턴오프 손실을 줄이기 위해서 사용되었다. 제안 회로의 해석은 직류 전원 분할용 커패시터의 용량을 변화 시켰을 경우 무차원화 파라메타를 도입하여 범용성 있게 기술하였고, 운전 특성을 스위칭 주파수와 제 파라메타에 따라 특성평가를 하였다. 이론해석에서 얻은 특성값을 기초로 한 회로 설계 기법의 일 예를 제시하였다. 또한, 실험을 통해 이론 해석의 정당성을 입증하였으며, 향후 방전등용 점등장치, DC-DC 컨버터등의 전원 시스템에 응용 가능성을 보여주고 있다. This paper presents about a example of circuit design and characteristics of proposed circuit according to the variable capacitance of the DC voltage source separated capacitor used as high frequency resonant inverter of LCC type using ZVS(Zero-Voltage-Switching). The soft switching technology known as ZVS is used to reduce turn on and off loss at switching. Also, in the case of varied capacity of the DC voltage source separated capacitor, the analysis of the proposed circuit has described generally by using normalized parameter and operating characteristics have been evaluated as to switching frequency and parameters. According to the calculated characteristics value, a method of the circuit designs and operation characteristics of the inverter is proposed. In addition, this paper proves the validity of theoretical analysis through the experiment. In the future, this proposed inverter show that it can be practically used as power source system for the lighting equipment of discharge lamp, DC-DC converter etc.
Power-MOSFET를 사용한 전압형 풀브릿지 고주파 공진 인버터의 특성해석

본 연구에서는 Power-MOSFET를 사용한 전압형 고주파인버터의 해석과 데드타임을 고려한 주전력변환회로의 동작특성을 나타내고, 또, 인버터의 동작특성을 무차원화 제어 변수를 도입하여 범용성 주어, 주변환 회로의 설계를 위한 기본데이타를 제시한다. 본 연구에서 제시된 설계기법은 산업공정에서 전원회로개발,유도가열 등의 여러분야에 적용할 수 있다. This paper presents operating chracteristics of the main power conversion circuit considering dead time, an analysis of which includes switching device of voltage-fed type high frequency Inverter with Power-MOSFET. In addition, The operation characteristics of the proposed inverter is generally depicted by introducing normalized control variables. This paper suggests some fundamental data for designing the main power conversion circuit. Design technique proposed in this paper can be applied to several areas such as induction heating, development of power supply in industrial process etc.

소프트웨어 공학의 주요 목표중의 하나는 고품질의 소프트웨어를 생산하기 위한 방법론을 개발하는데 있다. 이와같은 목표를 달성하기 위하여 다양한 소프트웨어 개발방법론이 연구되고 있으며, 재사용성을 고려하여 소프트웨어의 개발 비용과 유지 보수가 용이한 객체 지향 소프트웨어 개발 방법에 관한 연구가 지속적으로 진행되고 있다. 그러나, 기존의 소프트웨어 설계 명세를 다른 유사한 시스템의 설계에 재이용되는 확률이 미흡하다. 이러한 문제점은 최소의 비용으로 소프트웨어의 생산성과 고품질화를 도모하기 위한 소프트웨어 공학의 목표에는 적합하지 않다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서, 본 과제에서는 객체지향 설계 기법 중 재이용성을 중시한 SPEC 설계 기법을 적용하여 개발한 결과를 다른 유사 시스템의 설계에 재이용하는 방안에 대해 기술하였다. 또한, 기존의 객체지향 설계 기법과 비교 분석하여 재이용성 측면에 대해 정량적인 평가를 실시하였다.

<P>Through tin precursor chemistry, SnSe nanocrystals were phase-selectively prepared. Monomeric N-heterocyclic stannylene, [Me<SUB>2</SUB>Si(N<SUP>t</SUP>Bu)<SUB>2</SUB>Sn:], having lone pair electrons, was prepared by a literature method, and it had a direct reactivity toward selenium powder. The resultant dimerized compound with a 1:1 stoichiometric ratio of Sn to Se was used as a precursor to synthesize tin selenides. Thermolysis of the precursor solution in oleylamine resulted in SnSe plates. The oriented attachment of SnSe plates through (100) crystalline planes formed the SnSe nanocolumns, which were characterized by SEM, TEM, PXRD, EDS, and XPS. The indirect band gap of the SnSe nanocolumns was red-shifted, compared with those of SnSe plates. The SnSe nanocolumns showed an increased photocurrent under visible light irradiation. We believe that similar precursor chemistry in this work can be further extended to group IVA elements.</P><P>Through tin precursor chemistry, SnSe nanocrystals were phase-selectively prepared. Microcystic Meningioma - Unusual Variant of Meningiomas

Microcystic meningioma is a rare variant of meningiomas. This unusual variant was originally described by Masson, who labeled it "humid". The computed tomographic scan or magnetic resonance images of these tumors resemble those of a glial or metastatic tumor with cystic or necrotic changes. There is no definitive method for differentiating cystic meningiomas from these more common tumors. But immunohistochemically, they share a similar pattern of positive staining for epithelial membrane antigen and vimentin with other meningiomas. Our case was a 34-year-old woman with a tumor mass on the right frontal area. She was admitted to hospital because of generalized tonic seizure. Grossly all of the tumor could be removed, and histopathologically this tumor was revealed to be a microcystic meningioma. Key words:Microcystic meningioma;Cystic tumor.
닭 도체에서 분리한 Salmonella spp의 특성 분석

Salmonella infections cause the diseases in poultry and some zoonotic Salmonella can be transmitted to human through poultry products, resulting in food-borne disease. This study was conducted to obtain some useful information for the control of salmonellosis in human. Twenty four Salmonella spp were isolated from poultry carcasses, and they were examined with several methods such as serotyping, antimicrobial resistance test and random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD) to identify their characteristics. In serotyping test of 24 strains S enteritidis was 17 (70.8%), followed by S schwarzengrund 3 (12.5%), untyped strain 4 (16.7%). In the results of antimicrobial resistance test, 23 (95.8%) isolates were resistant to at least one antimicrobial agent, generating eight different resistance patterns. In RAPD analysis using URP-6 primer to differentiate Salmonella isolates within a serotype, 4 serogroups were divided into 10 RAPD types: 5 types in S enteritidis, 2 types in S schwarzengrund and 3 types in the remainder.
